Approved just a few hours ago I bring you Stoudt’s Brewer’s Reserve 2X Chocolate Porter. This is their 25.87oz low batch beer so get it while you can. This beer should come in just over 7% ABV and be VERY limited so start chasing it now!

We were the first to post out the keg packaging for this beer so I’m excited to post up the bottle packaging just approved today for Stoudt’s Brewers Reserve Imperial Schwarzbier. Ed, Carol, Brett and the rest of the brewers at Stoudt’s have come up with a really interesting Imperial version of a traditional German Schwarzbier. This will be packaged in odd 25.8oz packaging and look for a release coming up soon.

Dunkle Weizen - 750mL Corked bottles available only at the brewery!!
Black Eye Pale Ale - a 6% 60 IBU Black IPA... Roasty, Toasty, and Hoppy are a great combination... Pick pne up at the brewery available for a short time only.

Coming soon, a Belgian Quad with 11% abv and a punch that will surely knock you out.

Stoudts - Battle of the Brewery Bands July 25th

Battle of the Brewery Bands "Rock and Rollin for Charity" Competition July 25th 6 to 10 pm.
All proceeds will be donated to charity. Local brew bands get to show off their other talents in a musical fight for the “Golden Keg” and the benefit of their choice. Proceeds will be donated to the winner's favorite charity. The winning band will have 50% of the proceeds donated to the charity. Second place winning band will receive 20% for charity, and the additional 30% will be divided up among the rest of the bands to donate. Everyone is a winner for charity. The event is from 6 -10 pm, ticket price is $30 which includes beer, food, music and a good old ass-kick'n time. Participating breweries will bring a keg of their choice. Stoudts Brewers Reserve Series - Kolsch

I just heard from Brett Kintzer @Stoudts Brewing Co and he tells me their Heifer in Wheat (German-style Hefe Weizen) is now available in bottles and on tap. More importantly Brett tells me their next Brewers Reserve series beer will be a Kolsch...this beer will be a German Style Ale that is lighter bodied and mildly hopped with German hallertau hops and will be available by the end of the week (4/18 or so). This Kolsch will become Stoudt's new spring seasonal offering starting in 2010. Stoudts is currently running a contest to name this Kolsch with the winner (Must be 21 years old or older) receiving a free case of Stoudts a month for an entire year...so put on your creative thinking caps and lets see if we can come up with some good names for this brew.
