Counseling vs Guidance

Most people often interchange the words guidance and counseling. This is primarily because we are so used to the term guidance counselor from our schools. These professionals we know from childhood usually help students in their way to college, often giving them advices involving personal or educational problems as well as showcasing options for college and future careers. Guidance counselors often function to guide children and young individuals to become mature and responsible members of society by developing the person’s way of thinking and motivating them to prepare for their chosen careers and vocations.

Guidance and Counseling are both processes that are done to help solve a person’s problems in life, however the way these problems are dissected and tackled vary. The way the problems are tackled could ultimately depend on the way the person in need of advice or help may be more comfortable with.

Guidance involves listening carefully to the problems of the burdened individuals and discussing possible readymade solutions that could help solve or at least alleviate the problem discussed at hand. In this way, the person who is in dilemma can choose whether or not to accept the said solution and carry out the solution with him. Most often than not, the solutions that are given out sincerely and thus are often followed and carried out.

Counseling, on the other hand, involves a series of talking and listening, discussing the problem at hand and sharing relevant information that could help the person understand the problem and make his or her own decision or course of action. The process of counseling usually ends with the advisee having with him an insight of the problem and a more empowered self that could help the person make future decisions. This way the advisee can be more intuitive in the future and can learn to dissect and understand future problems.

Some people state that guidance is only a part of counseling wherein the act of listening to the problem and discussing solutions can be done repeatedly until the problem is well understood by the advisee and possible ways or solutions can be extracted from the repetition.

Too often relationships break down due to many reasons, but the fatal reason among them is suspiciousness about partner. It is much worse to have a suspicious mind. Nothing can kill a happy relationship faster than suspiciousness. Being around a suspicious person is difficult to deal with. While everyone gets suspicious from time-to-time, experiencing suspiciousness on a daily basis can be problematic and ends with break down of relationships.

Self analyze yourself with the following questions, to find out whether you have suspicious mind or not.

1. Do you checking his or her activities too often?

2. Do you always call your husband or wife by the hour to check on him or her?

3. Do you go through the call history and messages of your husband or wife?

4. Do you refuse your wife or husband to work in such environment, where there is more mingling of both sexes?

5. Do you easily get doubt, when he or she doesn’t return your calls?

6. Do you get paranoid, when he or she went out without telling you where he or she went?

7. Do you often ask whom he/she is with at work?

8. Do you feel insecure even when he or she speaks of someone who both of you do not know personally or when he looks at someone who happens to pass by?

If you agreed to all these, then conclude, possibly you are suspicious about your partner’s action. Don’t be panic; the important thing is, suspiciousness can be overcome. Here are the few tips to overcome your suspicious thought about your partner.

Talk to your husband or wife, boyfriend or girlfriend, about the issue. It helps to focus on your feelings and not necessarily your partner’s behavior.

See the situation as what it truly is and not what could be. Sometimes, your mind is just over analyzing things.

Try to think differently about events that make you suspicious.

Stop jumping to conclusions on a small fraction of evidence.

While you are involved in a relationship, enjoy and value it.

If you find yourself constantly reminded of your past experiences of being cheated, confront your fears and communicate with your partner about it. Let go of the painful past because it may ruin your present relationship.

Avoid being alone. Because isolation itself brings you the negative thoughts in your mind.

Actively engage in some activity and communicate with someone, it relieves its negativity and makes feel happier

Try to put yourself in your partner’s shoes. If you were a trustworthy person and being honest in the relationship how would it make you feel if your partner constantly accused you of lying, questioned you all the time about where you were or who with, accused you of cheating etc. when you were doing none of these things.

Tell yourself that your partner has chosen you to be with, your partner loves you.

Make quality time for each other .Do some activity together, takes away meal and relax together.

Stop assuming the worst about your partner. Instead, assume the best of his or her faithfulness unless you have the real reason to believe.

Get rid of the environment which induces and influences your suspiciousness.

Trust yourself so you can trust others.

Avoid asking unreasonable questions to your partner.

These are things you can do, which will help to keep your relationship healthy and loving and which could avoid the suspicious thoughts and distress of a relationship breakdown. Eventually you must implement these steps seriously in to actions to stop killer suspiciousness.

The roles of the family have undergone significant changes because of modernization and industrialization.These role changes forced our families to focus with different challenges and responsibilities.Inability of the families to withstand these challenges ends in fatal results.Family suicide is one of the horrible example. Reports suggests that the incidence of family suicide is climbing year by year. These fatal ends occur because of nothing other than running away from the proposed challenges. In one or another way each individual is engaged in similar journey for his or her existence.Fact or destiny is the vehicle which decides our path and destination.Either one can mention it as an adventurous journey or disastrous journey, it is up to the particular individual to decide.

It is not simple as our ordinary journeys.It is the journey in which persistently our shoulder is full of baggages(responsibilities) to carry. Every single moments, we were enforced to overcome surpassing strangers with or with out the fear of fatal dangers.

Fortunately or unfortunately each and everyone will be in the situation of pleasing and teasing events with the end of ordinary moments. We were blessed to have abundance of cherishing relations to accompany our journey. Saudi council requires all the foreign nurses to take the exam before working in saudi arabia. All foreign nurses who seek employment in Saudi Arabia will take and should pass Prometric Examination.

The exam format is purely multiple choice and nothing else. It is done not by paper and pen but by a computer. Whatever you have learned while you were in college are the type of questions they typically ask.70 questions examination is to be finished within 2 hours. Passing mark is 40%.

The testing fee of $80, is to be shouldered by the examinee. A payment of $80.00 USD collected at time of scheduling. Acceptable payment methods include American Express, MasterCard and Visa credit cards.

Earth will be hit by a 'solar tsunami’ after the huge explosions on the surface of the sun. These eruptions occur when immense magnetic structures in the solar atmosphere lose their stability and can no longer be held down by the Sun's huge gravitational pull. Just like a coiled spring suddenly being released, they erupt into space, which could trigger a huge "coronal mass ejection" in which huge amounts of super-hot plasma were spurted towards the earth, which then sent a “solar tsunami” racing 93 million miles across space. Fortunately, the earth's magnetic field protects us from the blast of radiation like this, which is normally expected to wipe out much of the human race. The deadly solar plasma is likely to stream down the planetary field lines towards the poles, crashing into oxygen and nitrogen atoms in the atmosphere and so lighting them up to form aurora. The atoms will light up and glow in different colors – greens, reds, violets and yellows – and we will see it as the aurora borealis, or northern nights, in the northern hemisphere, and the aurora australis, or southern lights, in the southern hemisphere. Scientists warned that a really big solar eruption could destroy satellites and wreck power and communications grids around the globe. The soft X-ray flux of X class flares increases the ionization of the upper atmosphere, which can interfere with short-wave radio communication and can increase the drag on low orbiting satellites, leading to orbital decay. Long term the effects are not easy to categorize but scientists believe these include highly disturbed weather patterns with a greatly increased risk of earthquakes and volcanic eruption in vulnerable locations.
