Counseling vs Guidance

Most people often interchange the words guidance and counseling. This is primarily because we are so used to the term guidance counselor from our schools. These professionals we know from childhood usually help students in their way to college, often giving them advices involving personal or educational problems as well as showcasing options for college and future careers. Guidance counselors often function to guide children and young individuals to become mature and responsible members of society by developing the person’s way of thinking and motivating them to prepare for their chosen careers and vocations.

Guidance and Counseling are both processes that are done to help solve a person’s problems in life, however the way these problems are dissected and tackled vary. The way the problems are tackled could ultimately depend on the way the person in need of advice or help may be more comfortable with.

Guidance involves listening carefully to the problems of the burdened individuals and discussing possible readymade solutions that could help solve or at least alleviate the problem discussed at hand. In this way, the person who is in dilemma can choose whether or not to accept the said solution and carry out the solution with him. Most often than not, the solutions that are given out sincerely and thus are often followed and carried out.

Counseling, on the other hand, involves a series of talking and listening, discussing the problem at hand and sharing relevant information that could help the person understand the problem and make his or her own decision or course of action. The process of counseling usually ends with the advisee having with him an insight of the problem and a more empowered self that could help the person make future decisions. This way the advisee can be more intuitive in the future and can learn to dissect and understand future problems.

Some people state that guidance is only a part of counseling wherein the act of listening to the problem and discussing solutions can be done repeatedly until the problem is well understood by the advisee and possible ways or solutions can be extracted from the repetition.

Nothing can kill a happy relationship faster than suspiciousness. Being around a suspicious person is difficult to deal with. 1. Do you checking his or her activities too often?

Earth will be hit by a 'solar tsunami’ after the huge explosions on the surface of the sun. These eruptions occur when immense magnetic structures in the solar atmosphere lose their stability and can no longer be held down by the Sun's huge gravitational pull. Fortunately, the earth's magnetic field protects us from the blast of radiation like this, which is normally expected to wipe out much of the human race. The deadly solar plasma is likely to stream down the planetary field lines towards the poles, crashing into oxygen and nitrogen atoms in the atmosphere and so lighting them up to form aurora. The atoms will light up and glow in different colors – greens, reds, violets and yellows – and we will see it as the aurora borealis, or northern nights, in the northern hemisphere, and the aurora australis, or southern lights, in the southern hemisphere. Scientists warned that a really big solar eruption could destroy satellites and wreck power and communications grids around the globe. The soft X-ray flux of X class flares increases the ionization of the upper atmosphere, which can interfere with short-wave radio communication and can increase the drag on low orbiting satellites, leading to orbital decay. Long term the effects are not easy to categorize but scientists believe these include highly disturbed weather patterns with a greatly increased risk of earthquakes and volcanic eruption in vulnerable locations.

Indian film industry is ready with its high budget film which is set to be released in the month of September 2010.Interestingly this high budget movie is not produced by Bollywood the largest and most popular industry of Indian cinema. It is coming out from Kollywood the Tamil film industry, which is the second largest and most popular industry of Indian cinema. This film has surpassed the budget of the Bollywood high budget film Blue (2009).

The movie is directed by Shankar, one of the most prominent and successful film director of India and it will be released under the production of Sun Pictures .The all time super star, style king and the highest paid actor of India Rajinikanth plays the leading role as the hero. Some other things which make “Endhiran” special are former Miss World, highest paid and prominent actress of India Aishwarya Rai Bachan plays the leading female role. Oscar winning music director A.R.Rehman has composed the songs and background music.

The first schedule of the film has started on 8th September 2008 at Peru following the locations of United states, Brazil,Goa, Himachal Pradesh and Chennai. The film is currently undergoing post-production work. It is expected to be released worldwide on September 3, 2010 along with its dubbed versions Robot in Hindi and in Telugu.This Tamil science fiction film Endhiran’s Audio songs will be released on 31st July in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with grant ceremony. “Think Audio” will be launching the audio of Endhiran as they have acquired the copy rights for a hopping amount of 7 crores (US$1.6 million).The fans of Mega super star Rajinikanth who lives in the heart of billions of people in and outside of India are eagerly waiting for Endhiran celebration from September 2010. India’s master blaster Sachin Tendular scored his 5th double century in the second test cricket against Srilanka. The cricket icon Tendulkar holds the record of scoring highest number of centuries in Test cricket as well as in one day internationals. The elegant and legend batsman of all times Tendulkar’s cricket records are countless. Tendulkar possesses nearly all major batting and other records in test and one day international cricket matches. Sachin has so far played 167 test matches, scored 13539 runs, hit 48 test centuries and 55 test 50’s. He has such staggering numbers in both Tests and ODIs that it's conceivable some of those records may never be broken. Thirty seven years old Tendulkar with more than 30,000 runs in both test and one day international’s under his name and almost all major and minor cricket records in his long 20 years of international cricket career is still going strong like a 20 year old youth. As long as the prayer’s and wishes of billions of cricket fans all around the world exists, the mile stones and records of this run machine little master Sachin will continue with out end.
