The Ankara fabric, formerly referred to as Dutch Wax from Holland, only became known as “Ankara” when the Turks started making a cheaper version, and these are mostly used in West Africa. They are quite popular,  light-weight and very colorful. And mostly, it is very comfortable to wear.

It can be combined with other fabrics. Style here is a combination of  Ankara and guipure lace.
