Horses for example have a diet of oats and hay, your hamster has a diet of hamster food. Now when you think about it like that it's really not a painful word at all. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;  So tip # 1 is getting and staying in the right frame of mind. It makes a huge difference. The mind really does control the body!&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Now another thing that I have picked up along the way is that you're eating habits are KEY. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Most people think it's all about how little you eat every day. Well I am here to tell you, that's totally wrong. It's about how much you eat everyday! &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; People hear this; you need to eat more to lose weight. What I am talking about is eating 5-6 meals a day. Now the meals will be smaller, and of quality food, but eating this many times a day is the real secret.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;  You see the more you starve yourself, the more your body holds on to fat, It puts your body into a state of " Don't burn any fat, we might not get any more food." That's how you body interprets starvation. So eat more often and your body will be like a trained dog. It will know exactly when its next meal is coming, and once it does. Kablaammmm!  It starts burning off that excess fat that is wasting space.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; So tip #2 is eat 5-6 meals of quality food every day.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Now tip #2 is great all by itself, but if you really want to get rid of the fat, you need to turn up the heat. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; I'm gonna say it..... EXERCISE!&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Okay I said it. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; This is another word that really seems to make people scared and ready to run for the Doritos. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; So just associate the word EXERCISE with EXORCIST. Think of it as a tool to expel all those fat demons out of your body temple! :)  &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Now when I say exercise, I am not talking about getting ready for Triathlon. Just start of doing anything, walking is great. Even if it's just 20 minutes a day, It will build upon itself. Before you know it you will be running, biking, lifting weight, and living life! &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; So tip# 3 is EXERCISE... Remember if you don't use it ... you lose it. They are soluble in water and are quickly assimilated by our body. Since they are also eliminated through the urine, we have to ingest them in a daily basis through our diet. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; These vitamins perform many functions in our body; they are in charge of carrying out physical and chemical processes that keep us alive and healthy. Within this group we find:&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; B1  Thiamin  &lt;br /&gt; Its function is fundamental for proper digestion of food, and to process carbohydrate. We find it in meat, egg yolk, yeast, legumes (dry beans, lentils and garbanzos) and whole grains. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Lack of this vitamin produces lesions in the nervous system which depends in part on the absorption of carbohydrate; it can contribute to cardiovascular disease and may cause gastrointestinal lesions.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Alcohol impairs thiamin absorption and enhances thiamin excretion in the urine. An estimated four out of five alcoholics are thiamin deficient. Prolonged thiamin deficiency can result in the disease beriberi, which was first observed in East Asia when the custom of polishing rice became widespread. Rice provided 80% of the energy intake for the people of that area and rice germ and bran were their principal source of thiamin.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; B2  Riboflavin&lt;br /&gt; This vitamin is part of the energy metabolism as well as of the formation of certain enzymes that prevent inflammation in the mouth, tongue, skin, eyes and gastrointestinal tract. Thus, B2 is essential in the metabolism of cells and the maintenance of a healthy skin, mucous membranes and eyes. We can find it in meat, dairy products, whole grains and dark green vegetables.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; B3  Niacin&lt;br /&gt; Known as been the vitamin administered in cases of intoxication such as the one produced by alcohol, this vitamin has also a very important role in the nervous system and digestive tract functions. A serious lack of this vitamin causes significant damage in our tissues. Pellagra is the characteristic disease caused by a lack of B3.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; B5  Pantothenic Acid&lt;br /&gt; This vitamin has a main role in the absorption of carbohydrate, protein, and lipids (fats). It participates in the synthesis of iron and in the formation of insulin. A deficiency of this vitamin causes headaches, vomiting, cramps and tingling in arms and legs. This circumstance however is unusual because this vitamin is found in all vegetable and animal tissues.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; B6  Pyridoxine&lt;br /&gt; Vitamin B6 is part of the metabolism of protein and amino acids, the production of hemoglobin which is in charge of transporting oxygen to our cells as well as the equilibrium of sodium and potassium.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; It is found in all foods already mentioned as a general source of the B vitamins. Lack of B6 can cause, among other things, dermatitis, slow growth in children, fatty liver, anemia, insomnia, fatigue, depression, irritability, apathy. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; B9  Folic Acid &lt;br /&gt; Folic acid is of the utmost importance in cell division (growing) and the formation of red cells. Its role is extremely important because it participates in the synthesis of our DNA components which are fundamental for cells to form so as to enable our body to develop and live.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; It is found mainly in dark green vegetables, liver, legumes, seeds, and whole grains. Lack of this vitamin can cause a kind of anemia that when it happens in children, it can lower their resistance to illnesses and cause difficulties in their growing. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Several research studies have confirmed the importance of folic acid in reducing the risks or neural tube defects. The brain and spinal cord develop from the neural tube, and defects in its orderly formation during the early weeks of pregnancy may result in various central nervous system disorders and death.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; B12  Cobalamin &lt;br /&gt; As well as folic acid, B12 has as its main functions the formation and maturation or red blood cells. It also participates in the maintenance and proper functioning of the nervous system cells. This vitamin is necessary to maintain the energy reserve in our muscles.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; B12 is only found in animal products  meat, poultry, fish, shellfish, eggs, dairy products and fortified cereals. Lack of this vitamin causes pernicious anemia (problems with the formation of red blood cells) and the loss of myelin in the nervous cells. A deficiency of B12 can cause mental disorders.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Conclusion&lt;br /&gt; For what we have seen here we may conclude that each of these vitamins performs different tasks and that their many actions can be considered individually. Not quite true. Many times it is difficult to tell which vitamin is performing which function because the presence or absence of one affects another's absorption, metabolism and excretion. In fact, these vitamins depend on each other to function optimally; a deficiency of any of them creates multiple problems. I have to admit that I am a lover of goods food and regularly enjoy dining out. A couple of years ago I realised that the time had come when I needed to lose some weight. This form of weight loss plan requires a lot of discipline and my main problem was the fact that to every three good days I would also have one really bad day where I would basically eat and drink far too much. I you have been training for a while more than likely you will have some decent abdominal muscles, they are simply covered up by the extra fat.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; You will have better luck, getting your abdominal flatter, by focusing more of your training time doing high intensity whole body and multi joint movements, instead of doing hundreds of reps of abdominal movements. This type of training is best as bigger movements use more energy and create a better hormone effect leading to the burning of more fat over time.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Using movements that target the big muscles of the legs, chest and your back give your more benefit for the effort you put into your training metabolically, and lead to more abdominal fat loss. Using a combination of these big movements with high intensity training using super sets, or circuit training increases your metabolism more and gives a better fat burning hormone response from your training.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; This is the biggest reason most people don't get the six pack abdominal they want, the best way to get great abs is not what it seems!&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; When you have dealt with enough fat and want to start bringing out your abs, another mistake I see all the time is in not using enough resistance, while doing hundreds of crunches and other pointless abdominal movements that don't challenge your abdominal muscles much at all. To properly develop your abdominal muscles, you shouldn't waste your time with movements where you can do more that about 20 repetitions, if you can do more than 20 repetitions there is not enough resistance for the movement to be effective for your abdominal muscles. To train the abs better give your body enough resistance so that you can only do 6 to 15 repetitions and feel the difference.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; When looking for higher resistance movements for the abs they usually involve curling the legs and your pelvic up to your core. Some great examples of these movements are knee raises (while moving your pelvis up) and hanging leg raises. I often find that even though someone can do 100 crunches they can rarely do 1 or 2 complete hanging leg raises with good form.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; If you honestly do want firmer more defined abs, remember that the more important thing to do is to lose the belly fat.
