Well Hmmm....The best laid plans...

2012-04-15T12:18:00.000-07:00

Seems like the universe had other plans for MyMomsBibs.com this weekend and for the Huskers football team and fans as well. Between my stepdad becoming ill and the severe weather we just had to, as they say, "Punt".

Needless to say, we are planning to set up the MyMomsBibs Lemonade Stand outside of the new Vincenzo's location on P Street in Lincoln when the Red and White Huskers football game is rescheduled. We will also be looking for other opportunities to be at so keep an eye out for posts about upcoming activities.

Don't forget the Toddler Singing Contest!

We will keep you posted. Be sure to visit us at our website at www.mymomsbibs.com to purchase Huskers Bibs for your favorite baby.

Be well!

Mom's Trip Delayed - Keep us in your prayers

2012-04-13T18:32:00.001-07:00

We wanted to let you know that Mom won't be able to make the trip to Nebraska this weekend as planned. Her husband, Chad, became ill the night before she was supposed to travel. We decided it was more important for her to be with Chad in Houston that here in Nebraska flashing her beautiful smile around Nebraska promoting our fabulous Huskers bibs. We will work to make arrangements when Chad is feeling better to get her up here.

We ask that you keep Chad in your prayers.

Here is a picture of Mom, Chad and my brother Walt from recent visit to Tampa, FL and a link to a blog with a story about how they met. We hope you'll take a minute to read it and get to know them (and us) a little better.

Here is the blog link for the story of how they met at Chardale's Curious Journey blog:

If you'd like to send a get well message to Chad post it in the comments below and we will forward them to him.

Be well!

Nebraska Fight Song Videos

2012-04-07T00:19:00.000-07:00

I went out on YouTube and found these videos of two of the Nebraska fight songs. The videos have the music played by the band and the words are there too. They are pretty short and are meant to be repeated several times so I think it will be easy to teach your toddler if they don't already know the words.

Remember to take video of your practice sessions too. Sometimes the best performances are the less than perfect ones. Analyze the footage that you have and post the one that is the cutest.

I am also posting a video of the Nebraska Prayer that is said in the locker room before games. If your little one isn't much for singing try teaching him or her this. It will count as a "Fight Song" in the MyMomsBibs contest.

The end of April is fast approaching! Post your video on our My Moms Bibs, Inc Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/MyMomsBibs or on the MyMomsBibs YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/MyMomsBibs/feed

The winner of the contest receives a free licensed Huskers bib made by MyMomsBibs, Inc. The winner will also be featured on this blog (at the parents' discretion).
