DD-WRT Linaro toolchain

Hi, I was trying to compile DD-WRT code with Linaro toolchain (toolchain-mipsel_gcc-linaro_uClibc-0.9.32) but got kernel panic. I tried with two different revision but behavior were same. I got this toolchain from current-toolchains.tar.bz2 available at DD-WRT's ftp server.

Firmware upgrade feature does not work in Brainslayer's firmwtare for WNDR4000. I prepared a beta firmware for WNDR4000 and firmware upgrade feature works there. There are couple of issues in that firmware like WPA/WPA2. If any one is interested in testing the firmware please let me know his/her email id. I will send the firmware. It will be better if you have serial console setup before trying this beta firmware.
WNDR4000 WPA/WPA2 issue

I tested Brainslayers firmware and it worked fine except firmware upgrade. I then tried to compile DD-WRT code, available at SVN, but found that WPA/WPA2 did not work. I also noticed that "nas" failed to run and showed error message as ""nas: symbol '__ctype_b': can't handle reloc type 0x7e" I used "gcc 4.1.2" toolchain to compile the distribution. Any idea about that error ? Regards, Tatha
[Read more]

I have a Seagate GoFlex Home NAS attached to my router via ethernet. I am running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/17/12) stdkong - build 18730M on my E3000. All I want to do is stream my videos and music to my tv, but I can't seem to get the NAS to install. I need help with the whole thing: mounting, sharing, etc. My linux knowledge is nil, but I am pretty adept at this stuff and follow directions well. I'm a complete noob, so thank you for your patience and help.

Hi evryone I have questions about pppoe server, why it is not installed by standart on KingKong, and standard dd-wrt on Asus RT-N16 router:D? I have also Buffalo wzr -g450H with dd-wrt and it has pppoe server unfortunately isn't supporting vlans which i also need :D... Is there easy way too install pppoe-server integrated with radius server on KingKon 18010 by command line?? I would be really glad for any help cause linux isn't my strong side and i'm pretty sure, it shouldn't be a problem to install and configure pppoe-server by command line P.S i have configurations scripts for pppo-server from buffalo i guess only little corrections will be necessary or even no change :D
[Read more]
