I casually found this sort of educative flash game online where you control a cell. It isn't one of those arcade-ish or fast paced games, this game actually explains and shows in detail everything that the cell is doing, and how it works.

I found it to be very good, educative and fun at the same time. This of course cannot replace a seriously studied book, but watching in real time the RNA and ribosomes interact while the in game text explains to you what is happening is really something that caught my attention and curiosity.

The game also has a (very simple) story. Your planet is going to be destroyed by an asteroid in 100 years and you have been given the task to preserve and secure your species survival, as a biologist you start researching on new cells that might survive in space to reach other colonizable planets.

Germany - The administrative court of Berlin ordered to the parliament to release the German UFO files

This is happening thanks to the request of Frank Reitemeyer.

Every official information that was elaborated by the German Parliament Scientific service of investigation has to be released.

Frank Reitemeyer managed to forward this request thanks to the German freedom of information act.

The Deutsche Bundestag tried to hold the files, in an attempt to stop the divulgation, but Berlin's tribunal is more inclined to make them public, all backed up by some precise laws about the freedom of information.

The Detusche Bundestag attorneys explicitly requested to deny the divulgation of a precise file about the search of intelligent life in the universe and the implementation of the ONU A 33/426 resolution about the observation of UFOs and extraterrestrial life forms, but the Judges of the tribunal ordered that every file has to be divulgated to the public.

After the other many countries that made public their UFO files, Germany seems to be next, there will probably be updates very soon about this.

- The document that the attorneys wanted to keep secret (the ONU A 33/426 resolution) is about an agreement between the members of the ONU to create a competent department to analyze all the results of the researches about UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligent life forms. According to what we know, this was never created for several reasons. Why keep the file secret if this department has never been created? There's really something fishy about this.

Eisenhower's great granddaughter and aliens

Laura Eisenhower spoke her mind during the Johannesburg UFO conference.

She claimed that extraterrestrial technologies are used every day to control the Earth's population, for example, the recent tsunami and earthquakes have been artificially created with the HAARP.

She also claimed that the governments are and have been collaborating with Alien entities, and that contracts with these extraterrestrial beings have been signed every 10 years.

Another claim said that the governments thanks to the mental manipulation can keep all of this hidden, and "recruit" common citicens to do the dirty work against their will for them.

This is basically what is bad about studying this kind of things, and how just the claims of one can put to shame every serious work and research, Laura's claims are simply ridiculous... Yes, of course there are secret military technologies, everyone knows that, but getting to the point of saying that governments have been working with aliens to keep the Earth population "in check" is really taking it a bit over the top.

"Puzzling structures" on the Asteroid 2005 YU55

This time it is official (unlike some of the other previous out of place "structures" found on asteroids), the Asteroid 2005 YU55 carries puzzling structures on its surface. It's what Lance Benner said, who works for Nasa's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. The photos taken by the scientists are still being examined, and are really being taken seriously because of this discovery on the asteroid's surface.

This happened a couple of weeks ago, but I am usually skeptic when it comes to this kind of things. It happened several times before in the past that some "man made structures" were found on asteroids, and in the end they were only hoaxes. This is why I waited a bit before posting it.
Only after the official confirmation of a NASA scientist I decided to post about it.

The fact that this asteroid got really close to the planet Earth (324.600 kilometers are nothing compared to the humongous dimensions of our universe) gave us the possibility to examine this kind of unknown objects like we never did before. And what we found is nothing short of amazing.

Some voices speak about a "too round" structure, for it to be a simple asteroid, in fact, it seems more like a little moon. Some other voices focus on the surface structures, which make it seem anything but a natural "piece of rock".

We'll have to wait a bit before finding a certain answer (and it isn't even sure if we are ever going to get one).

"Searching for ET, but no evidence yet" - White House answers to the disclosure petition.

The official (and predictable) answer by the white house to the petition regarding the disclosure of any material that had to do with alien contacts was pretty much what everyone expected.

"We are searching for ET, but no evidence yet" - This is basically the way of answering to the UFO subject used from the first documented sightings to our times. Trying doesn't hurt, but anyone who signed the petition should have expected this, there have been many attempts throughout history to find out the truth, and some were successful, just take a look at some of the declassified documents that have been found over the years.

The proof is all there, the white house will never admit something like this. The UFO subject is delicate, and it doesn't take much to be ridiculized by everyone after talking about it, this is probably one of the main reasons for them to not divulgate any info about the evidence.

Even if the white house didn't admit anything (understandable) we still have some proof available to us, you just have to know where to look for it!

7/1/1948 - Captain Mantell died when his plane was destroyed by an UFO after he attempted to intercept him.

The case has been proven by several UFO documents, some report the event, and other documents show the testimony of other members of the army, like Sergeant Blackwell and the Colonel Guy Hix.

There are some documents that describe the UFO as well, which was metallic and extremely big.

Declassified UFO documents - Teheran UFO

These documents describe the encounter between an F-4 and an UFO, back in the 1976.

The F-4 was sent to investigate after numerous Teheran citizens called the Air Force command post talking about strange luminous objects in the sky.

In the document, you can see how the F-4 gained contact with the UFO, and how the object disabled all the fighter's weapons. Later on the UFO "splits in two" getting closer to the F-4 as if wanting to examine it. In the end the object seems to land somewhere on a dry lake bed, but after investigating the place, the army managed to find only high radiations in the area.

Declassified UFO documents - RB-47 flight

25 September 1957 - This incredible UFO document reports the chase between a B-47 (a plane that is especially good at picking up RADAR signals emitted by submarines) and an UFO.

The whole chase, and all the sightings and RADAR signals were picked up both by the pilot and the Earth's radar stations. The UFO was big and very luminous, and even "played" with the plane by literally flying in circles around it.

The UFO emitted a strong electromagnetic energy, and since the plane was equipped with very sophisticated (at the time) devices it was even possible to gather some scientific and technical data about the object, here is some of it:

Ancient UFO pictures

These pictures and cave paintings come from the past, they go from the prehistory to the most recent ages.

Premise: With these pictures I am not claiming or stating anything with certainty, as usually I am very skeptic when it comes to this kind of things, especially because there is no certain way to say that they really drew UFOs in those images, it's all subject to interpretation unlike the official UFO documents or genuine UFO pictures. I am just providing the information for you and you'll be the one to judge for yourselves.

4 November 1948 - Official document where the USAF states that they are concerned by the recurring reports on flying saucers. The Swedish air force intelligence states that these phenomena are obviously the result of a high technical skill which cannot be associated to any presently known culture on earth.

4 August 1950 - Official document about UFO sightings over an important USA nuclear plant, and an attack attempt by some fighters. Note the subject of the document "flying discs"

19 September 1952 - This declassified British document talks about an UFO sighting that happened during a big NATO drill, the soldiers spotted a flying saucer out of nowhere that seemed to be following a Meteor aircraft at first but then started to descent, swinging in a pendular motion like a leaf. The object then started rotating on his own axis and suddenly accelerated at an incredible speed.

If you have read my previous post about the 9500 Canadian declassified UFO documents, you most likely gave a look at the Project Magnet too, which I linked in the post as I deem it one of the most important declassified UFO documents by far.

The Project Magnet report is an official 1952 document about UFO studies. In this document we can essentially see how the government starts accepting the fact that some of these UFOs can be extra-terrestrial vehicles, and what they are going to do to gather as most data as possible about them.

Especially at page 6, there is an incredible statement for a government:

"It appears then, that we are faced with a substantial probability of the real existence of extra-terrestrial vehicles, regardless of whether or not they fit into our scheme of things, such vehicles of necessity must use a technology considerably in advance of what we have. It is therefore submitted that the next step in this investigation should be a substantial effort towards the acquisition of as much as possible of this technology, which would without doubt be of great value to us"

The fact that a government so openly states that what they are seeing are actually extra-terrestrial vehicles should have been one of the biggest news of all times about the declassification of UFO documents, but incredibly enough, these papers have been left in the dark. What would you say if I told you that these documents have been available since 2005? That's 6 years ago, have you ever heard of this until now? Probably not, since there are only a few sites that know or have spoken about this, the TVs as far as I know have never said a word about it.

Is the UFO scene is so contaminated with sensationalistic lies just to gain attention, fake videos and photos, and fantasy stories that when something real and undeniable like this comes out it doesn't get any kind visibility? Sadly, it really looks like that it is.

Declassified UFO documents - Canada

These documents were made between 1947 and 1980. This collection of UFO documents is pretty big, according to the site there are around 9500 of them.

These documents don't come only from the Department of Defence, but also by the Department of Transport, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the National Research Council

Even though these documents have been declassified way before the ones in the UK (can be found here) they are still worth a look and very interesting. 9500 declassified documents are a LOT and you'll really have a lot to look for.

I highly suggest that you give a look especially at this one declassified document, the Canada Project Magnet where the government literally admits that the UFOs that they have observed are space ships piloted by aliens which can be found here

Mars - Spotted two places where life could have prospered

According to a research published on the magazine Geology, by the American planetary science institute, there are at least two places on Mars where life could have prospered.

Deep valleys rich of clay minerals that have been formed with the presence of water which supposedly favored the presence of forms of life.

The mineral that might hold the secret of life on Mars is the smectite. Its characteristic is the great capacity of absorbing water or organic molecules, and it is formed with non acid water.

"These clays have been formed with the presence of persistent waterholes, around 2 or 3 billions of years ago" Explained Janice Bishop, one of the researchers that works for the SETI institute and for NASA's Ames research centre.

"That means - she added - that these valleys are unique, and could have been the most hospitable places on Mars, when at the time it suffered a massive water evaporation that conditioned the climate of the whole planet".

These places have been spotted in the area named Noctis Labyrinthus, close to the Marineris valley (can be seen in the picture), a 4.000 kilometers long complex of valleys and canyons that can reach the depth of 7 kilometers.

The research has been made thanks to the high resolution images taken by the American satellite Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (Mro), launched back in the 2005 by NASA to analyze the surface of the red planet.

"These valleys are fantastic places to send the next rovers, too bad that the height differences of the terrain makes landing in those areas really problematic" commented Catherine Weits, first author of the research.

Buenos Aires 2:10 A.M - One death and 8 wounded because of a "fire ball" that fell from the sky

A Paraguayan woman died and 8 other people wounded this Monday because of a mysterious explosion caused, according to the testimonies, by a fire ball that fell from the sky.

It all happened at dawn, in the city named Esteban Echeverria, where two houses and three vehicles have been destroyed, because of the explosion that is being investigated by the authorities.

"The floor of the room where I was sleeping started floating, the roof deformed itself and all the glasses of my house exploded, when I went outside, I saw a fire falling from the sky that put on fire a lamp post 20 meters away" Is what an inhabitant stated.

This photo has been taken by a witness that day, shown by the CN5 channel. This photo is currently under analysis by the competent authorities UPDATE: El pais is talking about a fake photo about the flying object and false testimony, so this photo might actually be fake - UPDATE: the photo has been confirmed to be fake.

Another inhabitant saw a fire coming from above, which was blueish in color.

"We are investigating and it is too early to make any hypothesis right now, but sometimes implosions can cause this." Is what the ex mayor of the city Fernando Grey declared.

The woman that died, has been identified as Silvia Espinoza, 43 years old - She used to live in one of the houses that have been destroyed by the explosion.

All the inhabitants who were a victim of the event, or managed to watch what happened, explicitly state that they have seen something coming from the sky, something like a fireball with a bright light.

The gas explosion cause isn't excluded, but all the inhabitants disagree and claim to have seen an object falling from the sky

I am not showing you these photos to tell you "hey look, ET is flying with his ship right there!" - I am just showing you photos of unidentified flying objects.

These photos have all been studied and examined by qualified individuals, and have been deemed as real. No photoshops, no manipulations, nothing.

There are many videos and pictures going around the web about UFOs, but most of them are fakes just to attract people. I try to keep it rational, posting only what really seems to be an unidentified flying object.

Science and new ideas - Not always an easy approach

Science has always been very difficult to approach with new ideas, we used to firmly believe that the Earth was at the center of the Universe, for example, and whomever went against those widely accepted ideas was considered a charlatan, crazy or something along the lines of that, like Copernicus.

This "close minded" attitude seems to not have changed much throughout the years, even today anything that goes against the widely accepted theories of science is considered at least a bit crazy or strange, some recent examples are with the CERN scientists who supposedly sent particles at speeds faster than light, or the Cold Fusion E-Cat, apparently neither of these two discoveries have been really taken into consideration with the right importance by the scientific community. The feeling is that these studies are not being considered as they should from the start by many, just because they go against some important theories or considered extremely unlikely or impossible to achieve.

Something that goes against Einstein's theory of special relativity can be compared to Copernicus' heliocentrism in history, only a mad man would try to go against what was previously considered impossible.

Many of you have probably read this already, apparently some particles managed to surpass the speed of light at CERN, the extraordinary find, though, has not been confirmed right away, and this is why I didn't post about it until now, to be sure.

But yesterday at 8:34 A.M. the ANSA agency confirmed it, the speed of light has been surpassed.

Apparently, one of the most widely accepted theories of all times is getting a big hit, Albert Einstein's theory of special relativity explicitly states that the speed of light cannot be surpassed.

One day ago the humongous distances that separate us from other galaxies or even planetary systems were impossible to cover, because the speed of light was known as the Universe's speed limit, and even the relatively tiniest distances were too much for us, but this new find opens a whole new world of possibilities.

CERN scientist Antonio Ereditato was interviewed by BBC and this is what he stated:

"We wanted to find a mistake - trivial mistakes, more complicated mistakes, or nasty effects - and we didn't.

"When you don't find anything, then you say 'well, now I'm forced to go out and ask the community to scrutinise this'."

Friday's meeting was designed to begin this process, with hopes that other scientists will find inconsistencies in the measurements and, hopefully, repeat the experiment elsewhere.

"Despite the large [statistical] significance of this measurement that you have seen and the stability of the analysis, since it has a potentially great impact on physics, this motivates the continuation of our studies in order to find still-unknown systematic effects," Dr Ereditato told the meeting.

"We look forward to independent measurement from other experiments."

"My dream would be that another, independent experiment finds the same thing - then I would be relieved," Dr Ereditato told BBC News.

But for now, he explained, "we are not claiming things, we want just to be helped by the community in understanding our crazy result - because it is crazy".

Researchers Developing New Form of Life Made of Metal

We're all familiar with the idea of metallic life forms like sentient robots, but somewhere out there, metallic life may have actually evolved just like organic life has here on Earth. A Scottish research group is out to prove this is possible by creating reproducing and evolving synthetic cells made entirely out of metal.

There's really no reason why metallic life forms can't exist, it's just that we haven't met any and nobody's sure how it would work.

To prove that it's at least physically possible, a team from the University of Glasgow has created some cell-like bubbles call iCHELLs out of metallic elements like tungsten bonded with oxygen and phosphorus. These bubbles can self-assemble, and they exhibit many of the same properties that allow biological cells to do what they do, including an internal structure and a selectively porous outer membrane that can let other molecules pass through. It may even be possible to set the metallic cells up to perform photosynthesis.

The tricky bit at this point is to figure out how to imbue the metallic cells with something like DNA to allow them to self-replicate and evolve, but this may in fact be possible: the bubbles can use each other as templates to create more bubbles, and experiments suggest that they may even be able to alter their own chemistry to adapt to different environments. If all of this works out to the point where we can at least say that yes, it's definitely possible for metal life forms to have evolved, it would have massive implications for our search for extraterrestrial life.

To add a personal note: This is an incredible find. I already knew that our view of life was limited to our ecosystems and we didn't really look for something that for example doesn't breathe oxygen or swims in lava when they feel like taking a bath, the possibilities of life are endless and, in my opinion, this is the (still in its early stages) proof of it.

I wonder how can we adapt all of this to Darwin's evolution theory, which is already "menaced" by many little contradictions, if there really is the possibility of having cells that are capable of reproducing themselves without DNA, basically without the need of Biology, something is going to need to be revisited. The question is: Is a big change to our world really going to happen anytime soon? From the looks of it, I might even say yes.

What does it feel like to fly over planet Earth?

I bet that some of you said that the Earth is pretty boring when compared to some other planets of the Solar System at least once in your life, I mean: Jupiter has a huge tornado that could contain the Earth three times, Saturn has its famous rings, and so on.

You should absolutely take a moment to look at this, an awesome footage of our planet taken from the international space station. The description of the video takes care of the places that have been recorded and whatnot.

The storms at 0:22 seconds in the video are simply beautiful.

UFO activity in Mexico - Ceja de Bravo. Farmer claims that an UFO landed on his property

Mexico - Ceja de Bravo - Huimilpan

The inhabitants claim that on the night of September 3rd, Saucer shaped and luminous objects visited their modest city.

The next morning, out of nowhere, don Ambrosio's corn plants were somewhat "pushed" to the ground, to the point of becoming flat.

Exactly like some of the famous crop circles found in England and the phenomenon described in the movie "Signs", the plants didn't break, but were just pushed to the ground, as if "pushed" down.

According to some inhabitants, some lights have been seen during the night, and at around 4 A.M. in the morning they heard the dogs barking, but didn't pay much attention to them.

All of that until Saturday morning, when don Ambrosio Hernandez found out that to his plantation happened something that he has never seen before in his 70 years in Ceja de Bravo, without any clues as to what or who might have done something like that.

Don Ambrosio knows that there are some occasions where the wind manages to pull the plants out of the earth, especially in wet terrain, but there was no wind at all that past night.

That has been confirmed by Virginia Hernandez, niece and neighbour of Ambrosio, she is also the witness of such a strange phenomena for the first time in her life, even though there have been many reports of flying "fire balls", witches and other episodes that do not have a clear explanation nearby.

Don Ambrosio stated that what happened to his plantation couldn't have been done by one or more people.

His property is now being visited like some sort of attraction after the news spread out to the population.

While the plants are slowly going back to their original position, don Ambrosio is requesting the aid of the local authorities to minimize the financial losses.

While this might seem a real mysterious event, I remain skeptic, especially because the plants can be pushed down in such a way also by the wind and rain.

Transpersonal meetings with extraterrestrials, what you need to know

Since the UFO sightings became commonly accepted by the population, way back in the 1947, there has always been certain people that claimed to be in contact with advanced alien life forms with some kind of transpersonal or spiritual way. These people are known as contactees, they claim to be some kind of "chosen ones" contacting aliens every day failing to bring any kind of proof to the table and just blindly following their own fantastic ideas.

If you think about it, who follows a religion because of faith, usually is not going to listen to someone that rationally disproves it with scientific proof, because they are so convinced about their ideas that no one is going to be able to move them from their position, the same happens with the contactees and their transpersonal experiences.

Since this contact movement started, NONE of them has brought any kind of proof to back up their incredible claims. They claim to have conversations and/or have rides on the spaceships of these "good aliens" also known as "space brothers" by them, but still, they have never managed to back it up in any way.

These kind of transpersonal or spiritual experiences, have always been present in our human history. Today they contact aliens, before we had demons, divinities, the dead, dragons, etc. It looks like a pattern, where in the past the population was heavily influenced by legends and stories about dragons or demons, so their transpersonal experiences were influenced by those just as today the increase of stories, movies and sightings about aliens influence us.

These contactees manage to have also a big nice number of followers, because they always come up with new (fake) documentaries about their spiritual or transpersonal meetings, new websites with pseudo-spiritual messages to catch the eye, and who actually falls for this is ready to defend the, let's call it madness, in any possible way, most of the times aggressively. I have personally seen contactees followers defend the "prophets" with everything they had and it wasn't too different from someone that defended their god from a blasphemous claim.

The contactee scene, thanks to the pretty big number of people that fall for it, is still very active even today, into what is known as the new age ufology. It really looks like as if these charlatans are trying to come up with some kind of new religion based on fake claims about aliens, based only on personal stories about spiritual or transpersonal experiences.

Obviously, the point of this is either money making, or becoming well known. In fact most of the well known contactees came up with books, some other became very well known in the ufology scene, and some others even participated in some TV shows.
Whereas who actually has a rational approach to the subject and has to work to find scientific and real proof behind the UFO and/or alien life forms gets no recognition at all, but not only that, even the serious researcher risks to fall under the "UFO = transpersonal experiences or spiritual meetings" ideas.

When approaching the UFO or Alien subject, always double check the sources, ask for proof, heavily document yourself and keep your eyes open, there is almost no real proof left on the internet, thanks to this people.

These are some pictures that in my opinion are to be taken into consideration when analyzing Mars' history and surface, I know that there are other pics going around in the Internet about humanoids, faces and whatnot, but I usually don't give too much importance to such stuff, which is usually hyped up and spread around just to cheaply get views and hits on websites. I try to keep it rational.

Here it is possible to listen to the sounds from space for free by connecting to the radio channels of powerful radio telescopes - http://www.radio-astronomy.net/listen.htm keep in mind that this only works in certain times of the day.

Here we have a ZIP file with around 50 sounds all coming from space:

These sounds have been recorded mostly by independent researchers, the rest have been recorded by NASA. What is true to both sources is that all these sounds come directly from space, nothing of this is generated in our planet.
These sounds can be generated by satellites, probes and generic space phenomena, but some others say that they have been generated by UFOs.
