Whoopsie hoopsie!! the missing gal is back on blogesphere! Life is on repeat and rapid speed lately. Been super busy with works and some previous projects has been passed, but now i'm trying to put my ass back on writing and blog posting again. So guys, me and some friends just did a small photo shoot months ago and actually we didn't really think about what's the theme should be done on this. Then i sudeenly came up with this mix pattern outfit, combining POLKADOTS and ZEBRA PRINTED faux fur jacket created such a random but fun feeling on me. I grabbed them and TOOK the poses and I JUST LOVEEEEE THE RESULT.

Well speaking of wearing any outfits and how to combine them, as you knew it really these recent days the most people are wearing a simple monotone one or two layers called minimalism. This time i just need to let my self go bit wilder with dots and zebra stripes on my top, and magenta touch for my moodboost backdrop. The way you present your outfit is as easy as people seen you in real life. I'm a type of person who dare to wear "the unusual" for usual daily life, so if you one of them..go let yourself out and don't be shy to show who you really are.

Welcome to the very first post of 2015.I'd like to greet you A SUPERB NEW YEAR IN 2015, wish you loads of properity and love all around. This post will content of my joy doing such a superfun duty as music journalist. A month ago, i was surprisingly assigned to attend the hypest South East Asia musicfest on sea. It's The Ship. I was landed in Langkawi island, the beautifully exotic ones. They brought the excitement on the island, the beach and let us dance the night off with the special performances of the swaggest rapper yet now a dj too LIL JON. The perks of being a music journalist makes you stand on the front row and taking pics of the peformers as close as you watch them.

This was one of unforgetable moment in 2014 i would definetely keep in mind . People were dancing around in bikinies, shorts, playing watergun, beach volley, drinking cold beers, laughing all day and forget what tomorrow brings, as long your heart keep smiling..all we gotta do is just GRATEFUL TO LIFE. Biggest thanks to CREATIVEDISC.COM and LIVESCAPES ASIA.

A SPLIT OF SIGHT

Last month i was quite busy taking care of my mom, she was hospitalized because of heart probs, i stayed a week at the hospital, i left my jobs for a while, totally focused on my mom health recovery. During the hospital taking care of mom week, i didn't do anything related to my jobs. After a week i came back to my routines but this time i have more responsibilities to watch my mom more than before. Come home earlier, reduce some mingling activities or meet some friends. I decide to spend more time with mom at home, watching telly and share stories with her. This situation changed me totally, i've changed my mindset instead of spending hours doing other jobs out there i choose to be at home more and more. I don't want to regret later about the time i wasted by not being beside her. Now i feel so grateful that God still allows me to have more time with mom and also doing other jobs in a good portion. This lesson learnt, how busy we are as kid to do things outside there... please do still spare sometimes to have a warm attention to our parents, family. You will know why family always comes first than anything. The place for us to share affections, attentions, loves and have a balance life called home.

I love wearing OVERSIZED COATS nowadays, just like this one. I feel totally sure that we all love denim in any style of fashion outfit. i might say i'm a fan of denim too. On last Sunday i was really in the mood of playing my outfit with DENIM ON DENIM look just like this. Walking around the city sidewalks then i found this lovely corner to pose my self. These are the artworks of some Surabayan youths who love to express their passion by Mural Art.

About the outfit i'm choosing here are all about putting my fave pieces into an #OOTD look. The denim top was actually boy size shirt of PIAZZA ITALIA , since i could wear any kids item 14 size of clothes so i choose this one i got from the latest store of PIAZZA ITALIA and also the black studded faux leather totebag from PIAZZA ITALIA .

I would definitely wear this kind of style for some of afternoon walks look. oops, and this is me trying to grow my bangs..just tryin out new bangs style. We'll see how long it will last, since i always use bangs for the past seven years. :))

here goes another outfit post, yeshh!! am so glad encouraging my self to post more stuffs here. so today's outfit, i'm tryna pull a bit neat style mixed with boots and DIY flower crown, and a bold red lipstick. i was kinda wondering how it will look on me, but this is worth to try. a sense of autumn look on the go.

i choose this outfit considering all the fabrics i wore here are light enough for a daylight outfit. cotton made trench coat, comfy shirt and stretch denim pants, with a touch of flat leather boots. basically, you can wear any Fave stuffs you like but not too much. some people asking me about how to find our fashion character, well the answer is as simple as you understand yourself. knowing your comfort style, your fave items to wear, and how confident of you wearing them. voila! you'll get your fashion character there.

i feel comfort of wearing different items in different occasions. we have to suit to some right on time situations, aren't we?. my other simple tips for you, do not think too much deciding what you're gonna wear. personally, i'll end up with wearing things i don't really want to wear if i think too much bout it. so here i speak to you that fashion is about having FUN, yes! wear any stuffs that makes you happy.

MISSING AND NOW IT'S BACK. LANEWAY FEST SG 2014

Shout it out HELLO from here!!! Been 4 months missing of this absolute laziness that stays on my shoulders. Well, now I gotta back with the latest review of my annual must visited MUSIC FESTIVAL, St. Jerome Laneway Festival 2014. This is my 3rd year visit, for every visit this fest never ever failed my satisfaction to watch my dream line ups. This year, they bring BIGGER and HYPER lineups. Most of them will make loads of koolkids who attend screamin out the name of their role models on stage. HAIM, CHVRCHES, SAVAGES, DAUGHTER, JAGWAR MA, YOUTH LAGOON, JAMES BLAKE, THE JEZABELS, KURT VILE, FRIGHTENED RABBIT, and many more.

Since the festival happened a full whole day, started at 12.50 pm till end around midnight, I had to keep my self hydrated. This year Laneway fest is really improving their facililities and others things to keep the audiences safe and enjoy the show til end. They provided free water drinks colaborated with H&M and chillin fan, sounds kool eh?.

Here’s a little tips for you who might attend a whole day music fest and keep safe:
1. wear any light outfits, knowing you’ll be covered with sweat while singin’ and dancin to the music.
2. pack you stuffs on a simple backpack or mini bag, bring a portable poncho (rainy season), portable battery fan, hats, water face spray, sunnies, tshirt just in case you’d like to change it.
3. bring some cash to purchase genuine merchandise, snacks, drinks or beers.
4. if you travel solo, it’s fine to get new festival pals at the venue. So they can help you taking photos of your self, like I did here. Teehee. :p
5. knowing your fave line ups and truly listening to their tunes whole heartedly ..and you’ll be having THE GREATEST GIG MOMENT OF YOUR LIFE!!!!

If you asked, did I have a good time? Well, I did have the greatest life moment for this 12 hours festival, and I’m goin to make it here again next year. YOU SHOULD TOO! It’s a worth to attend musicfest in SEA. Even if I had to fly over to Singapore will not be my obstacle to make it happen. IF YOU WANT IT THEN MAKE IT REAL! . Yeahh, I guess you can feel my post euphoric feel here on this post.

Just another things that made me really want to meet my fave line ups, esp CHVRCHES .. because I had my shocking moment INTERVIEW with MARTIN DOHERTY representing his band CHVRCHES , you can listen up on my interview on CREATIVE DISC WEB BLOG. The moment I will never ever forget the whole life, having a phone session with one of the member of CHVRCHES means the WORLD for me. Here’s the link

HAIM the most awaited perfomance
Speaking of the best performance of LANEWAY festival Singapore 2014 I would give my personally vote for HAIM and CHVRCHES. Yap!! HAIM really brought the fest on fire, they’re such multitalents ladies with very high skill of music references. They brought the hits on stage : FALLING, HONEY and I, FOREVER, GO SLOW, THE WIRE, LET ME GO , and other hits from Days Are Gone album. 50minutes of HAIM euphoric continued with CHVRCHES performed their attractive music on stage, unfortunately I had to pull my self out of the crowd because I started to feel hard to breath. Lacking of oxygen at the front row I guess, and I need to keep my self safe so I took a saver space to enjoy them and dance sing out to every songs the performed that night, LIES, RECOVER, LUNGS, SCIENCE/VISIONS, NIGHT SKY, TETHER, The Mother We Share, more.

How to Achieve a Blinding Shine for Your Shoes

Good looking shoes are an essential part of a great outfit, but this means that the shoes need to be shiny and polished if they are to look their best. It doesn’t matter if you are wearing expensive designer loafers if they are stained and muddy; you aren’t going to impress anyone with them. That is why you need to look after your shoes and ensure that they are buffed and ready to go at all times. Here are a few methods which will help you achieve that glimmering shine.

1. Get the right supplies

In order to shine your shoes properly, you will need various products. Essentials that you cannot do without include shoe polish, a soft cloth and a shoe brush. You can get these along with other products either separately or as part of a shoe shining kit. Make sure the color of the polish matches your shoes and select carefully between wax and cream polish. Ideally, you could get one of both and alternate between using them

2. Arrange a polishing area

Shoe polish is notoriously difficult to remove so you want to ensure that you avoid any unnecessary stains. Select a place to do the work and lay down newspapers everywhere.

3. Start shining

The actual process is not that difficult. First take the shoe apply and polish a layer on the shoe using a brush or an old piece of cloth. The toe and heel might need extra polish. Repeat with the other shoe then let them dry for 15 minutes. After this take the brush and remove any excess polish. Be thorough. The last step is to take a clean piece of cloth and buff the shoes until they are nice and shiny.

Blogging seems to be the hardest part lately. Stuck in the same full schedules for double trouble works, but it still good to know am able to write things here again. This is my latest favey skirt made of faux leather by Zara, i love the details with unstructured stitches on it. Unfortunately cant be seen it here on pics. Weeks ago i ruined one of my faux leather pants collection, frustated me somehow. I need more tutorial to keep my faux leather collection anyway.

This outfit which i wore before NET TV broadcaster open casting, i was idealess to find what to wear.. And here i was picking a skirt and shirt and blazer with a clutch. The casting went well, and still waiting for the result. At least i tried my best to be in front of camera and doing program presenting.

EXODUS ATTACK

Here i am again, trying to be more regular to update the blog. It's Sunday afternoon here. and 4 days to go to celebrate Eid Mubarak. I smell mass holiday here in Indonesia. Most of people do an exodus to their hometown to visit a family. me? what about my family? well, basically i don't like doing exodus during Eid Mubarak. I can't stand the crowd, the road accident risk, and the tiredness after i arrived there in my dad's hometown. So me and mom decided to spend Eid Mubarak by staying in town, visiting some fams that live in the same town too. Usually i do visiting my dad's hometown and send prayer to his graveyard before Ramadhan the fasting month. It's a kinda tradition here to visit the family graveyard who had passed away. A moment of remembering the loved of family.

This whole fasting month is really made me to do everyworks without take a little breath. I keep working every morning til evening, doing two daily jobs and keep fasting ( no eat no drink no bad things for more or less than 12 hrs). BIG CHALLENGE, eh? Indeed. But it worth the earning that i receive this month. Well, i plan on doing a bigger journey next year so need to save ALOT.. ALOT... yeah, since i'm no longer dependent from my parent for my financial living, i earn them and support the family too. Well, it's so good knowing that you can stand by your own feet and not beng a spoiled lil kid who likes to spend parent's money for shopping this and that. I earn my living ..and i spent them responsibly.

A financial managing becomes my worst enemy for years, so i looked at my saving account and decide to be wiser to use the budget and keep saving. Smart shopping is one of my solution. So i will chanelling on two or three stuffs first and save the bucks to buy them in following months. SALE SEASON always be a saviour to me. THRIFTING also becoming my spender solution. and detox my wardrobe by joining the garage sale.

Oh my God, did i talk too much about this? haha. that's fine..i just really need to share this thought to you guys, my favorite readers. Writing a blog is modern public diary ,where we can share our thought to be seen by many people, whoever they are. Monday morning at my office, and i suddenly remember that i miss writing post for my blog. Just a little updates from me, i just reduced my working hours shorter to optimize my other activities related to media working. A local TV station ask me to join one of their program starting on August, i am so excited. Speaking of my radio show, my program director also chose me to host an afternoon primetime show. Phew, another creativity skill needed recently.

I just got invited by Openrice.com to attend a food tasting in Sichidon Japanese Resto. These are the photos i took at Sichidon Japanese Ramen and Don Buri resto. Speaking of food they serve are categorized in special taste of Japanese special culinary like ramen, udon, don buri, katsu and roasted cha siu. The atmosphere brought us to a Japanese scene, as you can see the wall decor, the book shelves, the room interior too. The price range is also reasonable for a great taste of food here. It's happening again, the laziness in me tried to trap me for writing this fashion journal. But i beat the devil, now i'm writing to you fully charged energy. So now, i'm dressing in really bright pink tone outfit. Yeap! Neon pink has become my biggest color crush recently. I bought manynthingsin this color without even think twice. This color makes me overjoyed. Don't you ever feel that color tone does affect your mood in every moments? Indeed. And i will show it up to you, dearies. I am not afraid dressing in a very bright tones.

Why am i posing with this Mahalo Ukulele? Just because i really love to play with it recently. I made a duo project with one of my multitalent sist Shaula in our recently formed duo "SDDN be Girls". We performed in some of the gigs too covering some songs we loved, such as Boy, Feist, Regina Spektor, The Strokes, and many more. It was so much fun. I love this project.

June is now. We're in the mid of year. Im happy knowing the past following months of making some progresses in life. I just went back from Singapore to have a flash getaway, spending time there on my own. Walk around the city for hours, enjoying things to appreciate what we already earned.

Things i hate most after vacation is hhahaha the cliche thing..going back to reality, but yeah that's the way it should end and restart the routines. But i do feeling refresh after this me time.

So you gals, if sometimes you feel stuck with your life ..go grab a chance of a solo traveling. Enjoy every part of it, you might be lost in someways but then you'll find a great experience .

Dear everyones, now am writing again after the superbusy weeks, finishing my werks, traveled back and forth for the recent job. I feel blessed. I love to see my self achieving things i have been efforted of so far. Having more than 3kinds of responsibilities makes me try harder to manage my time, but that is the essential of my job challenge. One thing for sure, i push my self not to abandon my blog and keeps writing for you all.

If you are one of those busy birds like i, i suggest you to really taking your vitamin regularly, exercising even just for 10-15 minutes. You need to boost your energy, don't push yourself too hard, in case you'll be ended up consulting the doc like i did somedays ago. So keep your passion and spirit on!

April. Phew. I have been missing for a month during my super busy MARCH. I could say my MARCH as full of blessings. Received many good news, new activities to do and several of offers.
So here are the recaps, i got accepted to work in another radio station in town for an after breakfast show, then I have to finish my latest duty of becoming one of the fashion writer and editor of EAST Magz. And oh yeah.. one of the leading brand in Indonesia chose me to join their Brand Ambassador training by this April so I have to prepare many things before I go.

Well March, I had my aging moment .. haha yeah it was my birthday on March 27th. I was so glad knowing many people sent me blessful wishes. I am so blessed to have them and you all. So I hope this year I could be more productive and expand my creativity of career in anyways. Thank you so much for every supports you gave through sweet comments and visited my blog.
