Dear everyones, now am writing again after the superbusy weeks, finishing my werks, traveled back and forth for the recent job. I feel blessed. I love to see my self achieving things i have been efforted of so far. Having more than 3kinds of responsibilities makes me try harder to manage my time, but that is the essential of my job challenge. One thing for sure, i push my self not to abandon my blog and keeps writing for you all.

If you are one of those busy birds like i, i suggest you to really taking your vitamin regularly, exercising even just for 10-15 minutes. You need to boost your energy, don't push yourself too hard, in case you'll be ended up consulting the doc like i did somedays ago. So keep your passion and spirit on!

BRIGHT AS THE SUN

April. Phew. I have been missing for a month during my super busy MARCH. I could say my MARCH as full of blessings. Received many good news, new activities to do and several of offers.
So here are the recaps, i got accepted to work in another radio station in town for an after breakfast show, then I have to finish my latest duty of becoming one of the fashion writer and editor of EAST Magz. And oh yeah.. one of the leading brand in Indonesia chose me to join their Brand Ambassador training by this April so I have to prepare many things before I go.

Well March, I had my aging moment .. haha yeah it was my birthday on March 27th. I was so glad knowing many people sent me blessful wishes. I am so blessed to have them and you all. So I hope this year I could be more productive and expand my creativity of career in anyways. Thank you so much for every supports you gave through sweet comments and visited my blog. I wish on everyone happiness from now and so on.

Here comes another March post, I bet I have told in my prev posts that my netbook got some trouble to work. But I have fixed it and it felt such a relieve. It’s March already. Welcome March! Somehow this month always become my most special month over the year, IT’s just because I always feel the vibe of my aging moment. St. Jerome Laneway Festival 2013

Well, today it's the time for me to share what i had watched on St. Jerome Laneway Festival first stop in Singapore. GOSH! am running out of any words.. everything went awesomely perfect!. That was the truly blast and flash vacation for me. Arrived on Saturday morning i stepped on my first morning flight to Changi International Airport and took MRT to my hostel. I stayed at Traveller@SG which was located on King George's Ave, 500m away from Lavender st. Did some docs checked and put my belongings inside the locker and amready to go to THE MEADOW - GARDEN BY THE BAY ( Laneway fest venue).
here's what i wore on that freakin hot mid sunny day! everything NEONS. That's what i called " I CHALLENGED THE SUN, BRIGHT LIGHT ATTACK!". lol.

I met several friends there fortunately so i wasn't that lonely during the all day show. I came at 2 pm when POLICA did their prfromance then try to find the finest spot to watch OF MONSTER AND MEN the Irish Folkband, and continud to REAL ESTATE ..AND MY MOST AWAITED FEMALE SINGER KIMBRA. Gosh.. i can't believe i was in the front row for her!! i stood there, drooling my eyes over her super colorful edgy and recycled made dress. KIMBRA truly brought the venue on FIRE. I sang all her songs ..screamed out loud. and blew some kisses for her. Til midnight it's time for me to enjoy YEASAYER my everyday playlist music, TAME IMPALA then BAT FOR LASHES, and finally GOTYE that became the closing act for the festival. GOTYE WAS AWESOME, he's sucha multi-insturmental and also supercreative musician too. Most of my fave songs of GOTYE (eyes wide open, thanks for your time,the only way,i feel better, in your light, and manymore) had been sung too that night. MY MOST AMAZING MUSIC FEST MOMENT EVERRR! (wow.. i see you guys realize how excited i was, teehee).

This week am estacticly happy.. towards St. Jerome LANEWAY FESTIVAL 2013 in Singapore which will be held on Jan,26th 2013. I am packing off now. I am so ready to meet my fave musicians such as: GOTYE , KIMBRA, BAT FOR LASHES, OF MONSTERS AND MEN, REAL ESTATE, YEASAYER AND TAME IMPALA . WOOHOOO!!! Laneway festival has been my annual music fest i must watch every year. And this year it's so wow knowing lots of my fave bands and musicians will perform there. Read my last year LANEWAY FEST2012 REPORT here :))

These photos were taken from my latest visit to Jakarta to watch OWL CITY LIVE AT JAKARTA. The show was great. But I can't share the show pictures now.. bit trouble with my memory card. Ooops. :( . But yet the memories of me sang along the OWL CITY's singles would be last forever there..in my memory brain.

Hi all! am writing here again. Ahaha! I got a bit of funny story here, why i put my post title with slightly similar to Carly Rae Jepsen's song CALL ME MAYBE?.. it's just because some friends telling me that these following pictures of mine, remind them to CARLY RAE JEPSEN . Oh yeah the phenomenon singer lady. We'll it's just because we have the same bangs style ..MAYBE? :))

It's so good knowing one of the Local TV station in my city invited me to be one of their guest for a morning show "SEMANGAT PAGI SHOW on JTV channel", we mostly discussed about the nowadays fashion trend, fashion do's and dont's and phone interactive with some viewers by phone. I was on the show with one of my fashion designer fellow, Primas G Prihanta. He's one of the talented rising designer from Surabaya.

According to research conducted by restaurants, the best dressed cities in the United States are Beverly Hills, Palm Beach, Honolulu, Washington DC, and Scottsdale and the most casual cities are Boulder, Oakland, Bloomington, Newark, Sonoma. Surprisingly, women shop approximately 400 hours a year.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DEAR ALL!
Guess everybody is happy today to feel the love and sharing moment with people surround them. Families, neighbors, friends, everyone.

Well this post is dedicated to those who celebrate THANKSGIVING DAY! tho here in Indonesia we didn't really familiar with the celebration, but i'd like to celebrate with all my beloved readers.

Thanksgiving day is identically related with such a mass activity called BLACK FRIDAY (early xmas shopping) where most retailers store open extremely early start at 4 am. WOW! a phenomena indeed. I wish someday i could experience my self for this BLACK FRIDAY moment. Early day shopping and hunt great sales along the shopping arcade. :D

In theory, clothes shopping for your boyfriend should be easy, but often – when confronted with rows of rails and not much guidance – the task can seem a lot trickier. So, where do you start?
It’s notoriously difficult to shop for someone else, unless the person in question is exactly the same height and shape as yourself. If you’re a woman buying for a gentleman, that’s fairly unlikely. So, before you head to the shops, the following questions are important:

What are his measurements?
What are his preferences of styles and brands?
What are his favourite colours? And which are the shades he never wears?

A sure-fire shortcut to a successful shopping trip is to stick to what you know he likes. One of the best ways to do this is to familiarise yourself with his wardrobe – take a look at the clothes he tends to buy and keep an eye out for items in a similar vein. Similarly, if most of his t-shirts are in neutral block colours, avoid opting for t-shirts in bold shades or vibrant prints – otherwise you may run the risk of scaring him.

It’s also a good idea to think about what he might choose. Some garments may not fit in with his general style preferences. For instance, if his work requires him to wear suits five days a week and he usually relaxes in loose-fit bootcut jeans at the weekend, he may not appreciate a pair of tight-fitting skinny jeans – no matter how good you think they’ll look.

Finally (and importantly) take a note of his size. Finding a good fit in trousers is often hard, but it helps to have his waist circumference and leg length written down for reference. And, if in doubt, try to find a sales assistant with a similar build to your boyfriend and ask him to model – this can give you a really helpful sense of perspective.

NOVEMBER! Feel like am blessed by all the good news that bring this month. I thought i would start a new beginning on January 2013, but reality talked in different way. I had to rrrr... must do a change of my life cycle immediately. What kind of change? well, yeah i have to share with ya a bit. First, I decided to quit my radio job and started a new kind of self business, earning money from our hands. Making things.

I make sure myself by taking this hard decision, i hope things i already stated will lead me to something better and bigger.

Essence de l' Audace' La Salle College Creative Show

I had been invited to this stunning event in town, Yeap it's La Salle Creative Show that came up with the theme of Essence de l'Audace which has meaning of The Essence of Being Bold. There were seven students of La Salle College International Surabaya challenged to give their best shot.. the bold final artwork for this graduation show. I was astonished by their creative work of fashion designs that night, all bold characters, out of the box theme, uncommon sense of fashion, and breaking boundaries. They are next big things Indonesian designers in the making. So I salutely said Congrats for the graduation and be bold for their future in the next. Pardon for blur result, i got problem with SLR camera i brought that night ,and ended to use the camera phone for this docs. Hello there, loves. Been a while since the last post bout my vacay post. Well, here's what I wore on day II in Bali. Just a short time visiting this place but it's quite fun though. I visited Beachwalk, have some lunch ..playing sands on KUTA beach in front of it and having dinner back in Beachwalk. Yeah, that's how i spent day II here in Bali. I dare myself to play with these NEONS outfits. Well BRIGHTS UP on daylight. SLIGHTLY BEACHIN day- 1

It's been a great week for me, just had a slightly vacay with mum last week in BALI. this time vacay dedicated to my family, since i always spent most of 12 hours working every weekdays. I need sometimes for my family as priority. A short vacation is a cure for us.

I flew to BALI on early morning at 5 am, yes the very early morning. But worth to do i guess. The weather was so lovely, sunny like always. BALI always brought me a peaceful feeling. I dropped my belongings in our bungalo near of KUTA beach,had some breakfast and drove to DREAMLAND beach.

Such a big launch celebration of the recent event i actually had to attend...but unfortunately i couldn't come to ZALORA Indonesia Grand Launch Party at PRIVE, Jakarta. I would like to congrats Zalora for the first launch few days ago, at September 14th 2012 precisely. Eventhough i couldn't attend the party but now i got some event review here and am about sharing with you now. Zalora is the biggest online fashion store that provides many well known fashion brands inside it. On this event, Zalora Indonesia invited many attendants for the show, celebrities, fashion bloggers, designers and many more. Good day, stylish peeps! This is a special post dedicated to the most stylish Surabaya' s blogger community : SbyVogue. Am so extremely delighted when they inviited me to.join the meet up. After several meet ups i couldn't attend, finally last two weeks i could meet these stylish folks.

Unfortunately some members couldn't join this time, but that's ok . We still had a fun time in.Still Rod cafe . An edgy coffeeshop decorated with UK style all around.

The History of the Fred Perry Fashion Brand

Fred Perry is one of the most clearly defined and iconic fashion brands in the history of British fashion. The famous wreath logo may have begun on a humble sweatband, but it is now emblazoned upon a whole range of clothing and footwear.

From Fred Perry shirts to Fred Perry knitwear, from Fred Perry sweats to Fred Perry trainers, you can now buy a whole range of quality fashion items donning this iconic logo – but how did one of the UK’s most popular and quality names in fashion begin?

Fred Perry was a champion tennis player in the 1930s, winning eight major Glam Slams and three consecutive Wimbledon Championships.

So, how did this legendary tennis player become wrapped up in fashion?

The story goes that in the late 1940s, Perry was approached by an Australian footballer known as Tibby Wegner. Wegner had created the first anti-sweat device to be worn around the wrist. Perry developed this concept and created the first sweatband, which became an immediate hit amongst sportsmen and women.

Perry wasn’t content with merely producing a humble sweatband. Under Wegner’s guidance, his creation was quickly followed with the arrival of a logo sports shirt. The original Fred Perry shirts were initially designed as sports shirts and were made from white knitted cotton pique with short sleeves. When the first Fred Perry sports shirts were made available to purchase at the Wimbledon Championships in 1952 they were an immediate success.

The original Fred Perry shirts quickly evolved from being a garment for the tennis playing elite to an iconic symbol of freedom and rebellion for the youthful subcultures of the 1960s and 70s. From skinheads to followers of Northern soul, Fred Perry’s white polo shirt became a popular fashion garment for rebellious teenagers across the UK.

The Logo

It may be one of the most recognisable fashion logos in the country, but many people remain unaware of what the Fred Perry logo actually symbolises. This small, iconic logo, which is typically stitched into the left breast of a Fred Perry shirt, is actually a laurel wreath, based on the original symbol for Wimbledon.

Fred Perry shirts and other branded garments continue to be regarded as a symbol of style, quality and taste, so it is hardly surprising that the brand was previously the clothing sponsor of British tennis player Andy Murray.
