Most of the time when working out, people tend to emphasize more on the upper body and arms. The leg muscles on the other hand usually get lower priority since they are usually covered or some people think they’re not important or it’s just too hard and people just don’t know what exercise they need to do!

They often ask themselves if there was only a way to build leg muscles easier!

The following tips can help you do just that. We know that there are many exercises out there for your legs but the following suggestions could help make it easier for you:

1.Make use of correct exercise for the body part. The best exercise overall to improve and build leg muscles is the squat. No other exercise has a better all around effect on the lower body than the squat. There are variations of course on this exercise and all of them when performed correctly increases thighs and leg muscle bulk effectively and fast! This is a relatively easy exercise to do, but you have to be careful and a spotter may be needed for safety and correct performance. What’s more squats also help develop your core and upper body, so it’s an all around exercise! Other exercise activities that target specific parts of the legs are:

Leg extensions for your quadriceps (the front of your thigh).Standing leg curls for your hamstrings (the back of your thigh). Calf raises for your lower legs, both back and front (there are variations for this one as well: Donkey calf raises, One leg calf raises, and reverse calf raises to name a few)

2.Go hard on the load but easy on the reps.Since you want to develop leg muscles fast, you might want to increase the weight to a level slightly higher than you’re used to but not too heavy as it may hurt you. Doing this with lower reps around the range of 5 to 10 in sets of 2 to 4 with proper rest periods (1-2 mins) in between sets, help prevent or minimize risk injury while maximizing muscle gain at the same time. At such heavy weights overdoing it may be more harmful than good.

3.Keep your muscles alert!Varying your exercise and load helps prevent your muscles from adapting. Muscles easily adapt to stress which explains why you won’t gain more mass if you keep using the same exercises or loads. Keep it on its toes and change your load or exercise every two weeks or so.

4.Rest well and eat the good stuff.Get proper sleep, eat healthy and your muscles will thank you for it! Get going! Build your legs, just remember to keep it safe!

Among the common misconceptions of those who wish to build the upper parts of their body is to think that massive, big and bulging muscles on the upper part of the body can only be done through the use of the bench presses of other machines as well through the use of dumbbells and barbells.

Among the common misconceptions of those who wish to build the upper parts of their body is to think that massive, big and bulging muscles on the upper part of the body can only be done through the use of the bench presses of other machines as well through the use of dumbbells and barbells. This is proved to be wrong for changes and transformations can be effected on these body parts through exercise.

The push up is considered as one of the definitive upper body exercise that will not only build your upper body but will also increase your strength. While the push may seem very standard, you can make variations on this basic exercise to spice up your exercise routine. Here are some of the variations of push up exercises that you can do.

The Inclined Push-up – This push up can be performed by simply placing your feet on a couch or on a block that has to be stable and unmoving in order to prevent any injury. The couch or a block is important for you to have an elevated position. Likewise, the use of the block or the couch adds a degree of difficulty on the exercise.

The Girls Push –up – This kind of push up is intended for the females since one cannot expect females to have the same muscular strength as the males. Hence, the routine is intended to make the routine much easier. This can be performed by using your knees rather than your toes on the ground.

The Upside Down Push-up – This is one of the most difficult variations since it requires a lot of muscular strength of your upper body. What you do here is to position in hand stand and you need to rest your feet on the wall to attain balance. Then you have to push up and down your body in a vertical position.

The Triangle Push-up - This kind of push up is intended to tone your upper arm muscles. In this push up, instead of placing your hands away from each other, you have to place your hands just close to each other with your thumbs and your fingers in triangle position. Then, you need to slowly lower yourself with your nose touching the inner part of the triangle and then go to the start position again and make several repetitions.

The One-Arm Push-up – This kind of push up is considered as the hardest of all the push up routines primarily due to the fact the you are using only one arm to support your body. To perform this exercise routine, you need to place your legs apart until you get the desired balance that you want. Then from two arms, remove the other arm and then start to push your body to the ground and then return again to the start position. After a number of repetitions, use the other arm again and perform the same number of repetitions.

If you have been working hard trying to lose tummy fat as quickly as possible, then I suggest you definitely read this article because you are going to learn one or two new things that will help you lose tummy fat faster than you could imagine.

Many of you have been trying to lose tummy fat the wrong way. The most obvious ones I have noticed are;

1. Starving yourself just so to make sure you lose weight quickly

2. Doing hours and hours of cardio hoping to burn more and more calories

3. Performing 100 to 500 crunches a day just with a hope to tighten those abs.

I have to tell you that all these attempts to lose tummy fat are totally useless. They are no more than big fat myths that has been keeping innocent people like you from learning the real secret to losing fat fast the proper and effective way.

Well, if you did know all this stuff before, who would spend so much money trying to purchase all those ab machines and weight loss gimmicks which I personally hate by the way.

There is no big secret to losing tummy fat other than the fact that you need to follow proper principles which will make fat loss simple and possible in the short and long term.

Without going in to much details, I am going to jump in to the facts straight away.

Technique #1
Eat more frequently. The more you keep the food away from your body, the more the body tries to survive with the existing energy thus slowing down the fat burning process.

If you eat more frequently with the right combination of food, there is no doubt you will definitely speed up the fat burning process and gradually lose tummy fat real quick.

The proper combination of meals refers to lean protein and high nutrition fibers in every meal.

Technique #2
Interval Training is by far the most effective way to boost metabolism and burn fat. It not only boosts your metabolism during the workout, you will also burn fat even while you are asleep!

Recent research also proves the fact that interval training has proven to burn more fat from the belly area due to intense core work and lower body mobility.

Technique #3
If you want to lose tummy fat and see the best abs you could possibly imagine, then you need to strengthen those abs from the inside. There is an abdominal wall that needs to be strengthened to stop the loose jelly effect that happens in your body even though you are not overweight.

Exercises like Stability ball crunches, Leg thrusts, Bench Crunches, Hanging Knee Raises will effectively strengthen the abdominal muscles behind that thick skin.

All you need to do is follow all three techniques together and you will have a great looking body in weeks. Not only will you lose tummy fat really quickly, but you will also achieve the great looking abs with the least effort ever.

In order to get six pack abs, you have to burn off your abdominal fat — it really all comes down to this simple fact. Yet many abs training tapes and devices concentrate on toning your abdominal muscles rather than burning off the layer of fat covering them.

The truth is, you can work out your abs as much as you want, but until you get rid of that fat, your six pack will remain hidden.

So how do you get rid of abdominal fat? Is there a way to target that fat and burn it off quickly?

Unfortunately, despite many claims to the contrary, there is no known way short of liposuction to spot target abdominal fat.

In fact, you are genetically predisposed to gain and lose fat in certain areas and in a specific order. Generally, you will burn fat in the reverse order in which you gain it — in other words, if your abs are the first area to gain fat, they will generally be the last area in which you will be able to burn it off.

But despite the near-impossibility of spot targeting abdominal fat, you can burn it off and get sick pack abs by being persistent and combining specific training methods with dietary changes.

What type of training is best to burn off stomach fat? The answer might surprise you, for it isn’t long hours of running, jogging, or even swimming. Instead, the best exercise to start burning fat isn’t necessarily aerobic exercise at all.

While it can be helpful to incorporate aerobic exercise into your routine, especially some form of mixed intensity running or elliptical training, an even better way to jump start your body’s fat burning engine is to start on a resistance training program. In other words, you’ve got to hit the weights.

I’ve found that the most effective and least time-consuming form of resistance training is slow lifting. Doing fewer reps and sets at a much slower pace can yield as much as 50% faster muscle growth, and this muscle growth can lead to increased fat burning.

So to burn off that stomach flab and reveal your six pack abs quickly, consider starting a slow lifting program combined with appropriate dietary measures, including carb restriction and increased consumption of quality protein. This combination of weight training and a reduced carb diet can yield very impressive results and can get you that six pack at long last.

If you are looking for a new workout that is very interesting and becoming increasingly popular then maybe you should consider Tae-Bo. Tae-Bo stands for Total Awareness Excellent Body Obedience. Tae-Bo was started by Billy Blanks, a world renounced boxer and martial arts expert. He started this workout routine as a way to condition himself, and then realized that it would be beneficial for others that are looking to either get into shape or maintain their physique.

Tae-Bo is a combination of martial arts and dancing. It is an aerobics workout that is very challenging and very rewarding. The workout is in tune with modern hip-hop music. Usual routine length is set to one hour and can be done in a certified studio or can be performed right in the comfort of your own home. Since the exercise is a full body cardio workout, you can burn almost twice the amount of calories than you can with normal aerobic workouts. All the moves are set to eight count series. This allows the follower to maintain their rhythm and keep up with the workout.

This style work out is geared for adults who want to maintain their level of fitness. It is important though that if you are over 30, out of shape or obese, to consult your physician before starting a highly physical workout. When you do start, start slow and listen to your body. If you get dizzy, light headed or have shortness of breath you need to stop. This program is designed to be entertaining and physically demanding. Start slow and gradually build yourself up. You will enjoy the feeling you get when you are done working out and you will notice a difference in your appearance as your excess weight begins to disappear.

Tae-Bo is a way for individuals to maintain their physical fitness because it is such a high impact workout. It can provide great results if it is done correctly, but since it is a high impact workout if it is done wrong it can leave you with adverse effects, such as damage to joints. The workout consists of a combination of kick-boxing and martial-arts moves.

Tae-Bo is the result of Billy Blanks’ need to make a better workout regime for himself and has since been shared by him with the general public because it is one of those few workouts that provides results. The workout is very high impact and should only be performed by those that are in shape enough to maintain the high level of the cardio workout. As with any new workout, you need to listen to your body and stop if you start to feel fatigued or sore. Talking to a medical professional before starting any new workout regime is always a good rule of thumb, too.

The basic simple guiding principle to losing weight to eat fewer calories than you can burn. That means in simple mathematics that you outgo should be more than your intake. So that there is a net outflow of calories from the system.

In simple language the calorie is a measure of potential energy in the food. It is similar to what fuel is for the car. It makes the body run, walk, sit or for that matter do anything. The calorie is available to us via enzymes whose task is to break the molecules and then release the energy for the use of the body.

Then the question is that why eating more calories gets you fat. The calories are used for all sorts of activities that the body does. When you are doing enough activity these calories go into glycogen stores in the liver for use later similar to the energy reserves. When you eat more food that means more calories than you body can hold out in the reserves then the calories get converted into fat and get distributed all across the body.

To lose a pound of weight you will have to burn about 3500 calories and that means that if you burn approximately 350 calories for 10 days then you can lose 1 pound of weight.

This all boils down to simple things that you with your diet and that is replacing high calorie diet with a low calorie diet. That may not be that easy to do but yes the fact is that in a combination of exercise and diet control you can achieve sufficient burning of calories to achieve weight loss.

So if you decide to lose weight then there are a few things that you need to do. The first one being start walking or running. This will help you have more calorie outflow than inflow. Start drinking water as that is the best fro draining out the excess fat in the body in addition to filling you up which reduces your craving for food.

Discipline is what people lack. In most cases after a few days people check the results and see that they have lost only 2 pounds, get disheartened and go back to old eating habits. Make sure not get disheartened and before you begin you should know that it will take time and a large amount of time to show results. It took you huge amounts of food to put on that weight so why it should be different while shedding weight.

Yes folks, even golf clubs are fakes now at a rapid rate! Some hav great quality, some have very poor quality, but the truth of the matter is, they are there! Hard to spot, but easy to buy fake!

Quick Check List to Avoid Fake Scotty Cameron Putters!

- Avoid sellers with less than 100 feedback
- Avoid sellers selling more than one of the same club
- Avoid ALL sellers from China & India
- Avoid all sellers with no return policy and who don’t accpet PayPal
- READ ALL FEEDBACK! Even some feedback is posted as Positive when the Buyer Claims the club is Fake!
- Even if the putter is listed as used, it still can be fake!
- Don’t Buy on eBay!

Great Articles to Avoiding Fake Scotty Cameron Putters

The Studio Style is the most prevelent knock-off here on e-bay, so here’s some pointers to help you spot the “fakes”.

-One thing for sure with the covers is the Titleist logo, the “T” is much more curved on a fake, and the aligment is usually further left.

-Also look at the letters “A” and “M” the A on a fake comes to a point at the top, and is more curved on an original.

- The “M” is much more straight up and down than on an authentic headcover.

- As far as the club itself, most phonies will not have the proper shaft, if the shaft is “TrueTemper”, be warned, it’s not a stock shaft, or at least it’s not common to see the actual “True Temper” written on the shaft itself.

-Additionally the Scotty Cameron sticker with club details will always be under the grip (not visible when at address), unless it’s a full wrap-around, of course.

-The most important thing is to ask for additional photos from the seller of a Studio (SC) putter, or any suspicious Scotty, because there are many fakes on the market now, ask for detailed photos of the sole, cover, and milled face.

-Also, the back will not show any signs of (buffing) on the backside of a fake, it will look almost “powdery”; this is a good sign the club was never really finished in the “Studio”.

- And Studio Style heads DO NOT COME WRAPPED IN PLASTIC!!!

About the Author:
“Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” (Herman Cain) There is perhaps no other quote in the world that can define me better than Herman Cain’s. Growing up in the era of “Wal-Mart”, understanding the global importance of China in the twenty-first century will be the key to future success for young entrepreneurs and students alike. A success that I feel at a young age I have already captured and continue to follow through with for the past three years. Ace Clothing Industries was my first of many business formed since I was fifteen; it was formed the same day I was told by my parents that I needed to purchase my own car and pay my way through high school and college. Years later now, that small online business I formed on that day has grown from a customer database of zero to three hundred returning customers and sales of $250,000 in 2006 and $100,000 in two quarters in 2007. It is a business that has rewarded me with far more than monetary successes. It has rewarded me with prestigious awards such as the Wisconsin Youth Entrepreneur of the Year, Midwest Youth Entrepreneur of the Year and an honorary inductee into the Business Wisconsin Hall of Fame. Throughout those honorary events, I was mesmerized by the businesses men and women that I met and shook hands with, leaders such as Senator Barack Obama and Jeffrey Bleustein, CEO of Harley Davidson. From there on, I knew business was going to be my obsession. Through the past three years I have learned that facing challenges such as: language barriers, market competition, long hours of answering phone calls and e-mails is just a part of the life of a business and has developed me into a young business professional. However, without these challenges, I would not be where I am today; that fun loving guy that is always working hard to please everyone and doing my work the best I possibly can. Growing as an adult and as a professional, I look forward to experience all challenges and new opportunities that the world will bring; and one day maybe the era of the “Wal-Mart” will be phased out by a new era, mine.

I was always a big kid growing up. My weight never bothered me. To me, every kid gets picked on for something and by the time my junior and senior years in high school came around the jokes about my weight had stopped and no one seemed to care any more. This is what usually made me rather content with my own appearance.

However once I graduated and I finally grew up and my body stopped growing my personal contentment would be the cause of serious health issues. These things never shrike at you first, they always sit back in the shadows and grow in seriousness.

Once I reached my late 20’s about the age of 27 or 28 I found my own sexual prowess had become less potent I guess you could say. I knew my weight had to be connected with this problem and every attempt to loose weight was met with some adversity.

It wasn’t an eating disorder it was just a simple case of I was too lazy to want to do anything about it. Sitting around all day cause I was always tired would lead to my becoming lethargic and by becoming lethargic, my body was suffering in the way of the posture and the muscle mass or what little I possessed of such a thing. I could already feel them locking up at every joint.

Of course later I had discovered that my somewhat lazy attitude wasn’t being lazy at all. My weight had added another problem to my now growing list of health issues.

The weight was placing considerable strain in my heart. Not enough oxygen was making its way through my body and my red blood cells were becoming deprived thus making myself sleepy all the time.

Between this and my apparent impotency I now wanted to do something about. I was 28 years old and not only could I not maintain an erection but I was tired and winded all the time as well as on my way to having some possible ailments.

Once the doctor mentioned the possibility of diabetes, I was off and looking into gastric bypass surgery. My doctor had first suggested a diet and weight loss the old fashion way but I wanted quick results and I planned on taking this fresh start and running with it. I wasn’t about to mess up again with this second chance I was lucky enough to gain.

We know cardio is essential to improve the cardiovascular system. This goes without saying. When many people don’t realize, is that cardiovascular exercise can be useful for losing weight as well as gaining weight; for increasing endurance as well as increasing power, size, and strength. The difference is in training energy systems. You can train your anaerobic energy system (builds power and strength) while participating in a cardio workout, just as easily as training you can train your aerobic energy system by performing super-high-rep circuit training on the weight machines (boo).

When trying to determine which form of cardio you should do, you need to evaluate your goals. Are you trying to:

* Lose as much weight as possible without regard for muscle or strength?
* Train for a specific athletic event such as track or a marathon?
* Improve leg power and leg speed along with cardiovascular endurance?
* Build as much muscle as possible in the shortest amount of time?

Endurance Cardio

If you want to be skinny and have high endurance but very little muscle you will probably want to do endurance running; long distance cycling; or use the elliptical trainer to prevent wear and tear on your ankles, knees, and hips. Other monotonous exercise equipment includes rowing machines, treadmills, stair climbers, and stationary bikes. These are all OK for burning calories and ‘toning’ but they will not make you stronger, faster, or more muscular.

Intense Cardio

If you want to be thicker, stronger, more powerful, and develop aesthetically pleasing muscle tone, you should give interval sprints or weightlifting complexes a try. When you use maximal force in your cardio workout, as you do with sprints, you are training the anaerobic energy system and facilitating neurological efficiency to those muscles. This will increase speed and strength, and will ultimately help you gain muscle. For you women out there, this will do a better job of ‘toning’ than those treadmills and stationary bikes.

Interval Sprints

With interval sprints, you can sprint on a flat surface, up hills, or up stairs. Sprint for 30 seconds, walk for 90 seconds, repeat 10 times. On your first sprint workout you might want to consider sprinting for 20 seconds, walking for 180 seconds, and repeating only 5 times. Each workout should become progressively harder. At one point in my training, I was sprinting stairs, timed by a stopwatch, for between 50-70 seconds and only resting enough to walk back down the stairs.

Complexes with Weights

With complexes, you will want to string together several compound exercises like deadlift, hang cleans, push press, and back squats, into one constant exercise. Do 5-7 reps with perfect form, rest 30-60 seconds and repeat 5 times. There are about 1000 different exercise combinations that you can turn into complexes so be creative.

Final Word

Don’t forget to stretch and drink lots of fluids during and after the workout. I recommend Gatorade. If you get tired of all this stuff, give thai kickboxing or jumping rope a try… again, be creative. There are so many forms of cardio that you can do, if you get bored just search the Internet for new ideas or invent something new. remember that short intense bursts are for strength and speed, and anything else is for endurance. Cardiovascular exercise can make or break your training, so make sure you’re not wasting your time performing the wrong type of cardio.

Golf is a daft game – after all, the worse golfer you are, the higher score you get! So for all you addicts that are determined to score less, here are some helpful hints to where not to practice your golf game that I’ve picked up on the way.

1. The Car
Apart from the obvious advantage of practicing your full golf swing from the passenger seat whilst your mother-in-law is in the back, generally the car is a bad place for golf. The little rubber floor mat only allows practice of putts of somewhat less than 9 inches, although in my case this could prove useful. Anyway, some idiot always seems to take a sharp left or right turn immediately after the ball is struck, leading to rather unpredictable results and very often a prolonged period spent with your head upside down between your knees trying to find the ball under your seat. Personally, I have found that a long drive, being somewhat more than 200 miles, makes me rather despondent towards the whole game of golf, as I regularly only manage about 150 yards.

2. The Library
Although there is usually plenty of room for a good sized swing, it seems that the pre-emptory shout of “FORE” as loud as possible, gains no respect at all. It was only warning people for the good of their health! Sometimes I wonder if courtesy is dead. A shame all the same, as those Ming vases on pedestals were really good targets.

3. The Supermarket
It started really well. I worked on day shifts so I went down to Tesbury’s at 4.00 in the morning and chose a really long, deserted aisle, took out the 5-iron and gave the ball a hefty thwack. They even provided little golf carts with four little wheels, although I think they needed to get some servicing done on them as they frequently veered me into a stack of beans. Unfortunately they have changed my shift pattern and now I’m on nights. I went to get a tin of spam last week at 4.00 in the afternoon, and Mr Bollinger-Bowles in aisle 4 gave me a right verbal just because my 3-wood shot pinned his pavlova to Amy Smith’s Red Snapper down at the fish counter. It was one of my best shots ever, and while I was explaining that they should have been applauding my efforts instead, the local Bobby came in and marked my card. I can’t go back there any more.

4. Elsie Frannigan’s Olde Tea Shoppe
Another mistake. I thought the little white apron Alice the waitress wears, with two big pockets on the front, would be perfect practice for those little chip shots. I think she had a problem as soon as I got my wedge out. She put her hands over her openings and was playing really hard to get, which I put down as the sole reason for my over-excited lob into table 7’s cup of Lapsang Souchong. (On reflection, I don’t think muttering “bunker” to Elsie on the way out helped a lot either).

5. The Curry House
By Friday I’d had enough. I decided to chuck the whole golf idea and dump the clubs in the canal. Fortunately my route took me past the local alehouse and I somehow managed to convince myself to drown my sorrows in a gallon of Old Grumblebelly instead. Fred, George and Bob were there as usual and very understanding, constantly trying to take my mind off my sorrow with encouraging words like “It’s your round” and “Mine’s a Harvey Wallbanger with a splash of Tartare Sauce and an umbrella.” A mere nine rounds later and the venue had magically changed into “The Blossoming Lotus Flower of Tranquil Waters” Chinese restaurant down Fleapit Lane behind the Gasworks. Unfortunately the proprietor remembered my escapades a fortnight before with the belly-putter at one of those tables with a revolving upper level and promptly sent us on our way.

“The Tiger’s Revenge” curry house was right next door. A vindaloo and four pints of “Great Crested Grebe” lager and confidence in my golfing abilities had returned. I thought they’d understand the obvious place to stick the tee was the tip of the tiger’s tail in the Kashmir carpet but apparently not so. The tee removed, I took a fairway iron instead. Remembering all the coaching books whilst aiming at the helpfully attended open front door – I took a nice big divot and the ball sailed sweetly through the aperture into the street beyond. However, before I had the chance to cry “Eureka” the ball struck a lamppost square on and rebounded back through the door striking George, tactfully trying to replace the divot back into the tiger’s eye, a glancing blow on his nether regions. Had it not been for the ball finally coming to rest just in front of the size 12 boot of the advancing cook, serious damage could have been done by that cleaver.
Pity, I was just getting the hang of this golf lark.
