Magnetosphere Cosmic Radiation

Infrared satellite technology is able to identify hot spots on the Earth's surface from space, and recent discoveries indicate the spots are most likely tiny holes in the protective magnetosphere. Breaches in the magnetosphere are often considered temporary and short-lived, but is the definition of time in this context is relative to a number of conditions coming together at once - something which the idea of temporary could last hundreds or even thousands of years.

Very much like a shield protecting the Earth, the magnetosphere defends the planet from a constant bombardment of highly charged particles and cosmic radiation ejected from the sun's slow burn. A hole in the magnetosphere allows the highly charged particles and cosmic radiation to reach the planet's surface, which can have devastating consequences. The beam would not stay concentrated in a single spot, but instead would move in slight figure-eight or circular patterns covering a small area as the Earth spins and rotates around the sun.

In recent missions, astronauts have reported electronic equipment malfunction each time the International Space Station flies over a particular spot identified by infrared satellite heat signature, to the point that NASA started tracking the location and movement of the spot. The location of this breach could also be affecting ocean freighter navigation, as it happens to be along a well-known cargo shipping route.

If a small hole in the magnetosphere affects the ISS and container ships, then maybe it's also possible certain unexplained phenomena is the result of solar radiation hitting the Earth in concentrated locations. For example, the Bermuda Triangle and Devil's Triangle could be in areas where the magnetosphere is a lot thinner, almost like an ozone layer effect, where highly charged radiation is bombarding the Earth's surface and causing chaos with electrical equipment. Another, more serious consideration here, is how holes in the magnetosphere affect people beyond issues with malfunctioning equipment. Micro holes allowing narrow beams of radiation through could also explain cancer rates and why some cancers do not follow specific known causation, that people receive random doses of highly charged radiation which eventually causes cancer to grow. If this is true, that there's always a chance of being subjected to cosmic radiation sneaking through the magnetosphere, then is there anything we can do to protect from it?

Step into a realm of shadows. An alternate, darker dimension draped in mysterious encounters and apparitions that feed off curiosities of everyone. An area where shadows meld human consciousness with deep imagination and understanding of completely unknown entities fading into the night. A place which seemingly resides beyond common laws of physics, where everything scientific blends into a blurred fringe between superstition and reality. A place able to unlock hidden doorways in the mind, twisting perception with paranormal influence, extracting profound truths of who we really are.

In absence of light, consciousness manifests the ultimate mysteries of human existence. Paranormal realms are a testament to the ability of our minds to fill in the darkness. To look into the void and see hidden realities which others may easily miss with only a glance. In the shadows resides a bridge connecting our spirit to reality. A connection between who we are in a synthetic reality and our souls to the universe.

We are not alone in this effort. There are already, millions of hyper-connected minds around the world who see these realms purely without strain or doubt. The universe chooses those who are ready, those with open consciousness, to see a balance of truth in both the light and darkness. We are chosen to become receptive to this reality.

The absence of light creates one of the most mysterious, over-looked areas of our physical reality. Objects are given depth and dimension by the properties of shadows. The darkness is void of light, free from illumination defining its existence. What is it about this darkness that is so intriguing, and what secrets may be unlocked by studying how shadows affect our lives?

Some simple observations derived from basic principles of shadows. One is, shadows incidentally prove photons do not bend around corners in the reality we know. Two, objects placed in the path of light block photons from continuing along in a straight line, of course depending on the object's state of transparency. The next observation is a difference in temperature between lit areas and those blocked by an object. Being that light carries heat; the heat is blocked along the same path. We also understand shadows are not flat, but are instead dimensional, pooling proportionately behind an object in relation to the angle of light and intensity. This dimension stretches in size relating to distance between the blocking object and the source of illumination.

For many thousands of years shadows have been used to tell time. Sundials utilize an object blocking light at a specific angle to produce a clock based on the sun's position in the sky. The line or triangular shape pointing on the dial is a shadow. Absence of light also helps us tell the time of day simply by the sun setting or rising. When the source of photons is removed, that part of the Earth plunges into darkness. Temperatures drop and the existence we know changes.

From the most fundamental level, with a shadow being the absence of light, the change in illumination correlates to an absence of the sun at night. An area of darkness following behind a path of light. Perhaps the intriguing mystery is the inability to visualize what resides in the dark realm as easily as seen during the day.

Hisatsinom People of Long Ago

Travelling southwest along highway UT-24 in Utah's southern desert, the terrain transforms from wide open prickly pear cactus and sage brush-covered plains to a narrow path winding through picturesque domineering red rock cliffs. The highway meets up and follows along twists and turns of the Freemont River, which helped erode the surrounding rock formations, creating a naturally fertile refuge with plenty of resources to sustain life for hundreds of years.

Geology in every direction gives an unmistakable impression of an aged landscape, one that is seemingly inhospitable, but full of hope and longevity. Possibly this is what the People of Long Ago, or the Hisatsinom, may have felt when they first migrated to the area thousands of years before European settlers discovered the hidden desert oasis.

As great ancestors of the Hopi Tribe, the Hisatsinom people learned how to efficiently maximize offerings of the Freemont River. They transformed and cultivated an unforgiving terrain in balance with nature and prospered; Hisatsinom inhabited Capitol Reef when three tribes, the Hopi, Zuni, and Paiute worked together from around 300 to 1,300 C.E. to mutually benefit from the land's resources and natural protection.

The modern curvy road runs right through the heart of the former Hisatsinom habitat, which is now protected within Capitol Reef National Park and preserved for future generations to enjoy. A plain brown sign with white lettering, the word Petroglyphs and an arrow pointing toward a rockface, appears at one point along the highway. Though the sign seems rather humble in its presence, it marks a significant historical location with evidence of the Hisatsinom settlement in the form of petroglyphs.

Carvings in the rocks depict elements of spiritual belief, flora and fauna, family history, and events which could be considered in whole as an ancient library of everyday ancestral life. Several images show various species of animals and herds that could have been used for teaching or evaluating hunting strategies. One way to interpret the carvings might be to envision the rocks as an ancient whiteboard representing real life scenarios encountered.

Additional images contain tribal symbols and are meant to describe cultural beliefs of the Hisatsinom and where they descended from. While these petroglyphs appear to show families in traditional clothing, they also give the impression of otherworldly influence in style. The rounded headdress may actually represent animal horns and feathers rather than helmets used by visitors from space. Body shapes are straight, flat lines, like those in animal pictures and fit with the artistic vision of the ancient people.

Part of the enigma of Capitol Reef is being able to look into a window of the Hopi's past, to a time when multiple tribes chose to work together for survival in an area where nature found a way despite the odds against. Another fascination is how these petroglyphs survived for hundreds and hundreds of years to carry on the traditions of People of Long Ago. If there is anything the Hopi can teach mankind in a modern age, it is to put aside superficial differences in order to sustain our future.

A common thread among living things across the planet is how they are able to adapt to changing environments by means of an evolutionary process. Thousands of studies have determined lineage through changing characteristics for many species of animals that have, in essence, morphed in shape and traits over time. Throughout each transition, DNA changes subtly and an effective recording is maintained in markers that allow scientists to trace ancestry and identify relationships.

Findings from studying evolution provide a wealth of helpful information, such as how humans adapted to different climates and how migration affected the adaptations. In the animal kingdom, scientists are able to determine when certain types of fish began to walk on land for the first time. Similar discoveries show how snakes evolved away from having limbs to instead favor slithering for locomotion. One could possibly make an argument there, why would snakes evolve legs to walk on land like lizards and then evolve away from quadrupedalism to slide across the ground?

While it may seem counterproductive for snakes to grow legs over time and later not require their use, there is another intriguing question here. What happens to the cells and DNA or RNA from the legs during a quadrupedal phase after the fact? Similarly, the question can be asked with humans and the evolution of the appendix. Perhaps this could explain why a number of ailments to humans, like influenza, coronavirus, and many other diseases manifest similar symptoms when the virus interacts with biological entities. It also provides a possible explanation of how new viruses are constantly being discovered if they are in fact a byproduct of evolutionary process in animals. The disposed DNA and RNA material could be excreted by an animal in some way, through the digestive tract or maybe a type of osmosis process, then passed to hosts by a variety of means.

Language and attitude about viruses tend to give an impression that viruses are intelligent, like they intentionally seek hosts to occupy for propagation. The theory of shed DNA is quite the opposite whereby material is discarded by one animal and ingested or inhaled by another. After all, the virus is deceased with the host and no longer survives when all hosts have expired. A new wave of discovery is upon us as advances in modern technology continue to reshape the way we perceive our past. As archaeology opens our eyes to a buried history, researchers and scientists are constantly looking for new methods to help us learn about who we are as mankind. Every advance provides new evidence and different ways of piecing together our history. Though discovery is often burdened with new questions, technology is allowing those questions to be answered faster than ever.

Cutting-edge devices and techniques, such as X-ray tomography, satellite surveys, and ground penetrating radar, are becoming invaluable tools for peeling back layers of sediment to uncover ancient structures below the surface. Furthermore, pinpointing sites of interest is more efficient in the use of time and resources allocated for discovery. Instead of spending countless hours scouring the ground on foot for potential places to dig, new techniques enable modern explorers the ability to cover a lot of land quickly before physically stepping into the field.

While it may sound like space archaeologists are looking for buried sites in space, they are actually using space technologies to find buried sites on Earth. The discovery of an ancient temple in Indonesia, on Mount Padang in West Java, is another excellent example of how modern archaeology methods managed to uncover a part of our long-forgotten past. Using tomography and imaging, scientists found a very large pyramid structure with distinct man-made formations at the megalithic site now known as Gunung Padang.

Researchers discovered underground chambers, pillars, walls and steps below thick layers of sediment, indicative of human construction as opposed to shapes that may have been formed by nature. Preliminary excavations and core drilling suggest the ancient site could date anywhere between 5,000 to 22,000 years ago – yet, without the help of modern technology, this ancient temple may have remained hidden for years to come.

Perhaps a hypothetical comparable to the rate of archaeological discovery would be to that of the rate of asteroid discovery. At first, when technology for asteroid discovery was at its infancy, less than a hundred asteroids were found per year. As technology improved, the rate skyrocketed to hundreds and thousands per year. Over thirty years, astronomers went from knowing about a few thousand asteroids to over five-hundred thousand, and the number continues to grow as our ability to detect is refined and enhanced with new technology. Imagine a new discovery for every new asteroid identified; what we know about our past is changing exponentially every year.

What is awesome about modern archaeology is not only its persistence to uncover history, but also the fact it continues to innovate new methods to find lost artifacts, structures, and pieces of our past. Archaeology is quickly surpassing the level of efficiency and capability of mineral exploration and provides more time to excavate and answer questions. If historical discoveries continue at an exponential rate as they have, similar to the discovery of new asteroids, it’s only a matter of time before the pictures of our past sharpen into focus.

Ancient Paintings at Pictograph Cave

Following sign posts from the highway to Pictograph Cave State Park in Montana feels like a journey back in time as the road narrows and winds its way through aging terrain. Exposed rock at the edges of the entrance road merely hints at the impressive historical site about to come into view.

Staff members of the park are friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about the importance of this site; and the museum at the visitor center helps emphasize why. Artifacts recovered from the cave are on display, including fragments of paintings that have fallen from the wall, and they tell an amazing story of how this location became a key point of communication for ancient people.

Pictograph Cave has endured for at least two millennia with original rock paintings still visible today. The pictographs display renditions of people, events, and animals; left to interpretation by archaeologists and visitors over the years. Preservation of the site ensures many people can enjoy the paintings for years to come, but the pigments are light-sensitive and fading over time.

The caverns here appear to be mostly protected from direct sunlight and a tripod with remote trigger is recommended for pictures, considering flash photography is prohibited. While respecting this rule we were fortunate enough to get a few nice pictures of the pictographs and park on a warm sunny day. We understand how people may spend hours here, to take in the scenery and explore an ancient site which feels like standing in a world as a witness to another era.

A second sacred spot in the park, known as the Ghost Cave, is only a short hike from the main pictograph area. The wind whips through this cavern in a certain way that makes it sound like voices are emanating from a series of round rocks resembling heads. Low pitch calls from bison and cows in a field across from the park add to the effect in an eerie way.

Like the cattle, rattlesnakes make their presence known around here too. The sound of rattle shaking is distinct enough to notice and served as a warning not to stray from the well-kept path. We traveled with a dog and were concerned about a snake confrontation, though everything worked out without incident.

There is a certain spiritual magnetism to the caves and rock formations that seems to naturally attract people to stay, relax, and explore. Evidence of the mysterious attraction resides with thousands of artifacts from varying time periods; eventually unearthed and pieced together for a better understanding of how the caverns were used for shelter and passing knowledge.

As a national landmark, Pictograph Cave is a bold reminder linking our ancient past to the world today through a series of rock paintings intended to communicate over hundreds of years. It is beautiful place that has stood the test of time and hopefully will continue to inspire future generations with the way of life of our ancestors.

All-Seeing Eyes of Higher Consciousness

A well known phrase, the eyes are windows to the soul, has an origin which remains disputed to this day. One interpretation states the metaphor is derived from Matthew 6:22-23 written around 60 CE, where the verse relates the eye to the state of its body, that if the eye is full of light than so too is the body. Another earlier source may have been Cicero's statement that the face is a picture of the mind as the eyes are its interpreter, a proverb quoted between sometime in the first century BCE. Both interpretations are similar in how they describe a distinct relationship between a person's eyes and body, and the link to a person's soul resides within.

The eye's principal biological function as a sensory organ provides a visual representation of the outside world to the brain. Observing the immediate environment is crucial to survival to assess danger, determine the distance of objects, and help the body understand the impact of its movements.

Yet for many thousands of years the eyes have also represented a deeper understanding of existence through spirituality. For example, the Egyptian Eye of Horus became a symbol of sacrifice, healing, and protection offered to a belated Osiris by his son Horus. Set, who entombed Osiris also gouged out Horus's left eye which was later returned and healed by Thoth. Egyptians did not believe eyes to be passive sensory organs, but instead associated them as a means of action, revenge, and protectionism.

An equally, if not more famous eye which appears on currency in the western world, is the Eye of Providence. The image has many variations though it almost always depicts an eye at the center of a triangle with rays of light emanating outward. Imagery of the Eye of Providence first appeared during the Renaissance period as representative in the Christian Trinity, a few thousand years after Egyptians first recorded the Eye of Horus mythology.

Some believe the Knights Templar adapted the eye's symbolism as sacred protectors of the church long before Freemason, Thomas Webb, published the Freemasons Monitor in 1797. Correlation between Masonic symbolism and Freemason members of the United States, George Washington and Benjamin Franklin, demonstrates influence of the eye in the Great Seal.

Masonic membership of Washington and Franklin has been verified by authentic portrait paintings depicting both founders of America in genuine Freemason ceremonial garb. An interesting fascination exists among ancient mysteries researchers, a fascination to connect all ancient sites and artifacts together in some way, imposing perhaps these sites and artifacts all work in conjunction to some degree. It’s not unusual to look at certain mysteries and quickly draw a link between two entirely different parts of the world, because in essence, the link is mostly already provided to us as people and our history.

Establishing a link between two distant civilizations is not as simple as identifying similarities in the cultures at face value. In the theory of probability, the chance of two cultures arriving at the same conclusion or using similar building techniques for certain achievements is not out of the ordinary. Take for instance, the matters which are used to reach engineering goals and realize those concepts, they stem from the same basic hard-coded instruction set every human is equipped with from the moment of birth.

Our ancestors understood that in order to survive, building structures to protect from the elements are absolutely necessary.

Many different types of structures result from thousands of years of engineering, and the shelters which share similar concepts have proved to be the most successful over time. Height provides the advantage of seeing threats in the distance and an effective means of communication enables strategic knowledge to overcome situations. The earliest known reports are documented from the ninth and twelfth centuries, well before complexities leave impressions seemingly at random in today's in farm fields across the world. Early reports described flattened crops in oval and circular ring patterns, sometimes similar to natural phenomena such as fungus rings on a much larger scale. The mystery of modern patterns however, tend to indicate a form of intelligence is behind their design, though the purpose is not clear.

One popular theory proposes crop circles are actually cryptic forms of an alien communication, that an otherworldly intelligence is attempting to establish contact with the human race by means of large mathematical pictographs temporarily etched into the countryside. Suggesting crop circles are alien messages fulfills a level of convenience to fringe UFO researchers, as a secondary form of evidence, perhaps a physical representation corroborating existence of unidentified flying objects with undeniable imagery.

The association of crop circles to unidentified flying objects is possibly made as an innocent explanation for why UFO sightings occur, placing aliens as non-threatening beings and implying no direct harm to the human species; communicate first, then form action based on the gained knowledge respective to said communication. With this, a secondary concept is easier to believe, to say an alien race is here studying mankind; further to the point, it's merely curiosity and will move on without interfering with daily human life.

Formations randomly appearing in farm fields demonstrating a mathematical form of intelligence have long been accepted as crop circles, and the term itself manages to explain these complexities as simple as possible. The geometric designs principally incorporate circular shapes, or are built upon a circular base. Without the true purpose of crop circles clearly defined, perhaps a more accurate terminology is UGF, or unidentified ground formations; to embody the phenomena as a whole.

Yes, there are many documented cases of individuals and groups creating crop circles as a form of publicly displayed artwork on a grand scale with innocent intentions. There are a few cases as well, whereby the circles are created to prove a more malicious point, as attempts to prove all circles must be hoaxed if said example is. Or possibly, man-made circles are actually mimicking messages from a much larger design. In these scenarios we are faced with confusion between what is real and what is man-made. A larger number of crop formations, however, are indeed unexplained and fuel scientific curiosities with highly sophisticated and complex mathematical designs. The caveat here to keep in mind is, that it's difficult to rule a sophisticated crop circle as otherworldly given the intelligence of mankind and advances in technology.

How are crop circles made?

Exactly how an amazing crop circle is created continues to be a significant factor in understanding the mystery. Complex geometrical patterns are effective at defying logic and establishing an alternative intelligence might be involved. One known method of making crop circles involves wooden planks, ropes, and an army of people certainly are capable of flattening crops into circular designs and patterns with a predetermined goal planned out and coordinated beforehand.

Aside from the rope and board method, there is another theory which demonstrates the possibility of human intervention to create crop circles. The use of specialized equipment carried by high altitude experimental aircraft or even possibly satellite technologies. This theory states that altering air pressure at the ground level from an advanced external source may be leveraged to create shapes and patterns on Earth with subsonic audio frequency waves. Perhaps the theory also explains sightings of UFO's in conjunction with the appearance of new circles, as this pressure wave travels through the atmosphere to and from a target point resulting in an optical illusion, as balls of light and disc shaped rings.

Using air pressure to form circular patterns is similar to other theories of origin, such as natural wind and electromagnetic currents congregating in specific areas to create the shapes later witnessed. The idea of natural phenomena creating fractal shapes is not unusual, and in fact these types of patterns are found commonly in flowers and in the formation of metals and crystals. Yet, by human interpretation, crop circles tend to lean toward intentional patterns more than natural phenomena.

Research examining soil and biological matter uncovers even further mystery which for the time being seems to lend merit to the otherworldly source theory. In some instances, the crops appear to be genetically modified and contain trace elements not found in the surrounding area outside of the circle. Combine this with sophisticated geometric designs and it's understandable to think an alternative source might be responsible.

In life, we are given signs to help lead us on our way through the best, and worst of times. We can always forgive for mistakes if we choose, and learning from those mistakes helps us grow into refined beings of spiritual significance. From the beginning of life, we are loaned character, identity, and principal understanding as an acquired knowledge transcending generation after generation. Part of our primal knowledge may be attained from the very energy first flowing through cells in union before division, the same process igniting our genetic code into replication overdrive.

Eden and the Burning Bush (Nano Banana)

We divide from conception into a world populated with organisms who followed the same process, who traveled along a path to light in order to take that first breath of oxygen. From there, further knowledge about the world around us is attained in droves while on a path to consciousness awakening, and conscious memory begins to influence personal controls. While growing with new understanding, life subjects everyone to a variety of situations from both difficult and stressful to pleasant and provocative. In these moments adaptation is learned, and for some, a belief beyond physical self in a quest to find answers of why we exist.

With tendency to combine realms of spirituality and scientific understanding, one theoretical question of our existence comes from the book of Genesis. In the Garden of Eden, a flaming sword turning in every which way intentionally kept Adam away from the Tree of Life. Now is he forbidden from the tree in moral principal, or is there possibly a literal identification which physically prohibited Adam from getting too close? For example, the rosette Bromeliad Vriesea splendens, also known literally as a Flaming Sword plant. This particular plant is naturally found in Venezuela and Suriname, far from the Biblical cradle of life's location today.

Further correlation here comes from the Book of Exodus and the burning bush. Some believe Moses must have been hallucinating to claim he witnessed both a bush on fire without being consumed, and the ghostly apparition of god inside it. There exists such a bush, which catches on fire in hot weather, known as the Dictamnus albus, and certain varieties are indeed found in the Mediterranean area. Could this be the burning bush Moses speaks of, and is it possible god presented himself through the heat distortion effect emitted from the burning bush? If Moses recorded events based truly on a real plant, then what about the Flaming Sword, and the Tree of Life for that matter?

Dictamnus can be found roughly in the same area where Moses claimed to see god, and there are at least two potential ways the Flaming Sword native to Venezuela could be placed partway around the world into the Biblical cradle. One, trading between South American cultures and Egyptians as evident by remnants of psychoactive substances along with plants and artifacts native to South America discovered in Egyptian tombs. Evidence loosely creates a link between the two distant continents though hasn't provided solid proof. The idea is not far off Columbus introducing another Bromeliad species to Spain around 500 years ago, the pineapple.

The second theory suggests something fairly startling with a rather large time factor involved. Around 237 million years ago in the Early Triassic, Venezuela and Suriname were located right on the edge of Africa as Earth's landmass clumped together as Pangea. If a similar Flaming Sword variety of Bromeliad existed at this time, and spanned into northern Africa, could it be what Genesis talked of in Eden?

Sightings of Ancient UFO's

Over the past decade researchers trying to get to the bottom of UFO sightings have reported an overall increase world-wide. There are many contributing factors supporting this information aside from the distinct correlation that plainly there are more UFOs to be sighted. Consider the growth in the field for one instant, the shear number explosion of investigators, hobbyists, and those paying a little closer attention to the skies above. With a much larger array of trained spotters, it's common sense to say the number of sightings would elevate, at least to a notable point.

Agencies such as MUFON are finally gaining recognition for their accomplishments as more visitors seek to pour over the materials found in their database. Global phenomena like unidentified flying objects have swept the world by filling coherent reports by observers who have never communicated with each other. A similar phenomena exists in case reports studied by psychologists, of alien visitations, which uniformly describe the same experience from person to person although those people have never been in contact with each other.

Of course, UFO sightings are a little different in the respect that the object can be witnessed by hundreds, if not thousands, at the same time. Lack of physical evidence and Earthly explanations often quickly dismiss claims especially when they're founded by individuals who appear discreditable or who have maintained states of panic while regurgitating their experience. A fabled fish has limitless size potential. The major mystery and clear turning point though is when stories remain consistent in every detail even with the most obscure points, while sharing a common ground with many other reports.

Mass sightings with complete coherent reports track back hundreds of years before the time of electronics and modern mass communication. One such example cites a flying disc shaped object traveling from Scotland, over Europe and into Asia. The sighting is well documented in woodcuts and gazettes from several towns who's only lines of communication were foot travel or by horse during the Dark Ages. In fact, dates on the news reports are close enough together that either gossip by foot or by horse would not have traveled fast enough. Also, many of the countries were at war. Why would any individual risk crossing into enemy territory to tell someone there about seeing a strange object in the sky?

The question doesn't end in the Dark Ages though several sightings during the period, in a heightened time of unrest and violence, do have similar descriptive terms. Fire in the sky burning and spinning. Revolving wheel or round barrel of flame. Long fiery beam, pile of fire the size of a small boat, dark object making a sound like a wheel, shaped like a drum and came from the sea.

The execution of Nichiren, for example, was aborted as the executioner panicked and ran when he witnessed an object in the sky like a full moon suddenly appear. As well, the Japanese are first credited to the term "flying saucer" after a sighting in 1180CE describing a flying earthenware vessel leaving a luminous trail. As time traces further back, descriptions tend to remain similar in style but use different terms such as a flying globe of fire and circular shield in the sky. Even so far back into written history around 1450BCE where the annals of Thutmose III talking of circles of fire coming from the sky brighter than the brightness of the sun.

Of course one could easily attribute the more ancient UFO sightings to be nothing more than meteorites crashing to Earth, which do indeed fit the some descriptions. Celestial body movements and falling stars best explain a few of the accounts, but do not provide an accurate explanation for other events like the Nuremberg Sky Battle in which it's reported the objects were fighting with each other, so evident the onlookers could tell who was winning and who was losing.

Another example is an account from Emperor Theodosius around 390CE describing a brilliant glowing orb in the sky with a great number of other glowing orbs drawing near the larger one, almost as if they were being pulled in. Theodosius claimed the spectacle to be like a swarm of bees flying around a bee-keeper until they blended together as one, becoming as bright to the eye as a double-edged sword. In fact, there are quite a few ancient UFO sightings that dismiss the comet or meteor theory altogether due to the irregular activity of the object, moving in such ways that a meteor is not capable of.

Who Originally Lived in North America?

An arctic ice bridge is one way ancient settlers may have visited America tens of thousands of years before modern voyages. Evidence suggests native migration patterns followed ancient routes through Alaska and as far south as Colorado following the mountain range. With that in mind, it wouldn't be too much further, all considering, to venture into Central and South America as well, let alone spread out toward the Eastern countryside. Further examination of those 40,000 year old migration routes will help us understand the paths our ancestors followed to eventually build the foundations of the western world. We know there was a thriving human population in North America long before it was claimed as a new world by European explorers.

Ancient Aztec (Nano Banana)

Theories on Aztec origins for example, the mythical homeland of Aztlan, talk of a a great white land as the cultural point of origin. This pinpoints much further north than Mexica establishments in Tenochtitlan and Tlatelolco after their arrival in Central America. Tracing through ancient maps, university professor Armando Sol-rzano believes the location could be in northern Utah.

By the narrative, it's quite possible someone may interpret salt flats as a white land. Similar theories identify historic sites much further north, into Canada, to be part of the great land of white where the Aztecs originated. The naming of an Indian settlement in Wisconsin, Aztalan, is meant to represent the location we find in ancient lore, but artifacts found at the site later suggest a different tribe established the fort.

Further ideas bolster this concept by suggesting the critical similarities in creation myths between various ancient Indian tribes may have started from one source, only then to develop slight differences over time as tribes split off. Future archaeological evidence may confirm these theories by placing ancient cultures in the areas at the correct time. There is an interesting connection to the 40,000 year old Siberian-Arctic North American migration routes, and a sudden growth in human population, known as the second wave in expansion. The first wave dates to around 60,000 years ago as the time when modern humans began to migrate out of Africa to Asia, Europe and Australia. The second wave of population growth is thought to attributed to an adaptation for colder climate survival.

DNA migration mapping shows us macrohaplogroup M (ABCDX) followed an ancient route across the ice bridge between 10,000 to 30,000 years ago. On the same map, we see A concentrating in Central America, north United States, and northern Canada; with a smaller concentration residing in the Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico area. Given this evidence, it looks like Sol-rzano is on the right track by investigating Utah for the Aztec's place of origination. However, with the same DNA evident much further north, it remains to be determined if the great land of white refers to salt flats or snow.

Who Built the Pyramids and How?

In a documentary by Zahi Hawass, head of Egyptian antiquities at the time, Zahi examined exactly who built the pyramids with very exciting revelations for anyone interested in this inspiring time of Egyptian history. Hawass focuses on a burial chamber found, which he describes as the worker's tomb, found within proximity to the great pyramids at Giza.

From evidence, accordingly, workers were treated similar to royalty as far as burial method, that they were not slaves or treated as slaves. An article about this discovery claims it took 10,000 workers, who ate 21 cattle and 23 sheep sent to them daily, more than 30 years to complete the construction. According to a bone study, most of the workers had significant cases of arthritis and lower vertebrae problems.

How much did the pyramid builders eat?

The numbers state pyramid building was fueled by at least 229,950 cattle and 251,850 sheep over the 30 year period. On average in 2013 by the USDA livestock report, consumers in the US ate roughly 0.0086 cattle, and 0.000675 sheep per person. Might add in here too, 0.0326 average pigs were also consumed per person during the period for reference.

Pyramid builders averaged to 0.77 cattle and 0.84 sheep per person per year. This means Egyptian workers were comparatively and significantly, very much, well-fed for their efforts. On the other hand, it's quite possible either a number of workers are not accounted for, or there is a discrepancy in the food consumption numbers found in worker tomb hieroglyphs. Extra protein would be necessary for the work labor involved, however, does that necessarily equate to 3 lbs or more meat per day, per person?

As far as evidence of the building itself, Egyptian Antiquities tells us hieroglyphs in the tombs of workers and pharaohs explain the story, yet those stories often talk about the daily lives of workers, not specifically about the pyramid building itself. To me, I think this is where part of the problem is in deciphering true origination. Maybe the workers were responsible for renovating, not building the pyramids, as perhaps another culture built them long before the Egyptians. I agree, that if no solid evidence has been uncovered to show the Egyptians building pyramids, or a process thereof, how can Egyptology support the claim?

Perhaps by this, maybe it truly is that Egyptians inherited the pyramids instead of building them. They became the keepers of passed knowledge, the proprietors of masonry on an extreme scale. Given the tireless research performed by Egyptian Antiquities, I would like to believe they are correct in asserting the Egyptians built the pyramids. However, there is enough evidence, or lack thereof, to suggest alternative possibilities. It does seem very odd, on many levels, to build such monumental structures and not document how that happened. A discovery one day will likely change all of what we know about the Egyptians in a heartbeat, or maybe, the discovery has already happened and it's being kept from general public knowledge.

The closest evidence pointing toward Egyptians constructing the pyramids comes from a stone stele on the island of Sehel. Carved into the rock is Pharaoh Zoser, Imhotep, and God Khnum, who are associated with the first step pyramids built. Interesting it is, that even this monument brings controversial issues, considering no where is it mentioned the types of construction materials required or anything about building methods and quarry locations. There is a list of minerals in Zoser's dream to build monuments, but the list does not mention limestone, sandstone, or granite.

What does the J.C. in your name stand for?

J.C. Vintner: Ahh, this question has come up quite a bit throughout the years. Some like to guess based on works I have written, but they're usually a little bit off. My full name is Jules Claire Vintner. While I do like both given names, friends abbreviated this at an early age and J.C. has stuck with me since.

What's the oldest mystery known to man you know of?

J.C. Vintner: The oldest mystery known to man, to my knowledge, would be that of the origin of the universe itself. Science theories suggest the idea of a big bang kicked off the creation of everything, and religion believes life is the ultimate creation of divine being; In either case, we do not have a definitive answer unanimously agreed upon by everyone.

Is there a name for the scientists who research and try to solve mysteries?

J.C. Vintner: Personally I believe all scientists are solving mysteries and it's only the type of mysteries which differ from scientist to scientist, in essence the name would depend on the scientist's primary discipline or the subject holding the mystery.

J.C. Vintner: In the sense of an ancient mysteries researcher, disciplines tend to have a mixed background involving perhaps those of Archeology, Anthropology, Geomorphology, Geology, Physics, Cosmology, Philosophy, Psychology, Parapsychology, Cryptozoology, Ufology, and share a general interest in world history. Ultimately, ancient mysteries researchers try to look from outside of the box using a variety of disciplines to question and possibly discover different outcomes previously not considered by a scientist who focuses on one subject matter alone.

Who are researchers paid or sponsored by?

J.C. Vintner: Many scientists are compensated for their efforts by organizations and supporters that benefit from their research; Some are paid for performing research, teaching, or think-tank problem solving while others are paid to enhance technologies and create innovations.

Have you ever experienced something akin to a mystery?

J.C. Vintner: Yes, on several occasions. A few events when I was younger prompted me to ask more questions and it was then when I became most interested in ancient mysteries research. In the search for answers to unexplained phenomena, I discovered a plethora of information that I believe should be shared with the world.

What's the most popular modern mystery?

J.C. Vintner: Although sighting history stems back for thousands of years, I believe unidentified flying objects and closely related phenomena such as crop circles are among the most popular modern mysteries; though Bigfoot may be very close in comparison.

How many people do you think have hoaxed things? Like some of the bigfoot sightings, or nessy?

J.C. Vintner: It's difficult to say how many have created fictitious stories let alone understand the motivations behind doing so. Falsified encounters create disbelief among communities and are sometimes spread intentionally in order to cover up the truth by those who do not want the general public to know. Fortunately for those dedicated to discovering the truth, there are enough creditable, sincerely truthful, eyewitness reports with corroborated facts to support these types of events and encounters.

What in your opinion is the most puzzling mystery of all?

J.C. Vintner: Life is the first, to me - To know why we exist. In all of my research and life experiences, not a single comfortable thought has put my mind at ease to understand why beings with such incredible intelligence capabilities have been left to grow on a floating rock surrounded by a giant bubble in the vacuum of space.

Is there some sort of official classification or title given to different types of mysteries?

J.C. Vintner: Similarly to the names of scientists who study mysteries, the names mystery types tend to vary depending on the discipline they are most concerned with. This is a great way to classify ancient mysteries as it keeps them close to the root subject, but it also helps to add more scrutiny and further examination to that subject overall. Phenomena research has finally shifted focus over the years to grouping similar mysteries together in a larger picture, trying to see if there are explanations which might be responsible for some type of global effect.

How many mysteries have been solved?

J.C. Vintner: Every solved mystery leads us to more questions and more mysteries, but to say exactly how many mysteries have been solved is indeed a mystery in itself.

The Emerald Tablet Mystery

Imagine a concept, that if Newton's dedication to the Emerald Tablet instead followed a different path outside the realm of alchemy and delved more into spirituality and its relationship between mankind and the world around us.

What does the Emerald tablet say?

As many scholars throughout the ages, Newton became obsessed with an idea that any element could be transmuted into any other element at the hands of alchemy, but the philosopher's stone quickly turned itself into a fantasy goose chase after discovering the shear level of complexity involved; Could a man ever possess the power Midas created in a chemistry lab? The following is a literal interpretation of the Emerald Tablet of Hermes, and an alternative possibility of what his mysterious ancient text could be trying to tell us.

The Emerald tablet begins with:

Truly without deceit, certain, and most veritable.
That which is below corresponds to that which is above;
And that which is above corresponds to that which is below.

Purity. Either in the sense of a pure element, or for a soul to reach enlightenment, to be accepted into the heavens, and into an afterlife free from evil. As a herald, Hermes guided souls of the dead to the underworld and was also believed to bring dreams to mortals at night. It is possible these lines refer to a relationship of souls between the living and the dead. Those in the underworld were once above, and those above will in time be in the underworld.

To accomplish the miracles of the one thing;
And just as all things come from this one thing;
Through the meditation of one mind;
So do all created things originate from this one thing;
Through transformation.

Perhaps here is where Newton first noticed clues the Emerald tablet could be a secret reference, leading eventually to the conclusion of a hidden alchemical practice used to create the philosopher's stone. Literally the verse says everything comes from one and by means of transformation, but it's the line regarding meditation of one mind suggesting a more spiritual significance.

Its father is the sun; Its mother is the moon.
The wind carries it in its belly; Its nurse is the Earth;
It is origin of all.
The consecration of the universe;
Its inherent strength is perfected if it is turned into Earth.

In this verse a single statement jumps out, whereby the wind carries the origin of all in its belly. We know winds on Earth are capable of moving many different things, both living and inert, but the next line helps narrow it down by saying the Earth nurses it. If transportation of Earth is ruled out from the wind's belly, that leaves the possibility of either water, micro-organisms, electricity, or a type of radiation. Even to say, the Earth nurses it, may infer Earth's ability to absorb water. To early alchemists, in continuing along an alchemical sense, the first two lines translate as: Its father is gold, its mother is silver.

Separate the Earth from Heaven;
The subtle from the gross
Gently and with great ingenuity it rises from Earth to Heaven;
And descends again to Earth Thereby combining within its;
The power of both above and the below

Reading these lines from the tablet seems to point toward water being a key substance here. Earth and Heaven are indeed separate, and when looked at as a whole of the planet, water may also be a grossly overlooked subtlety vitally important to life as we know it. Water rises to the heavens in the form of evaporation and then falls back to Earth in the form of rain or snow. For either to occur, water molecules need to adhere to dust particles and micro organisms in the atmosphere, and it is at this point where water combines the power of both above and below. In an alchemical sense, one might interpret the Earth should now be physically separated from heaven, allowing the Earth to ascend and descend to obtain its properties.

Thus you will obtain the glory of the whole universe;
All obscurity will be clear to you;
This is the greatest force of all powers because it overcomes every subtle thing;
And penetrates every solid thing;
In this way was the universe created;
From this will come many wondrous applications;
Because this is the pattern;
Therefore am I called thrice Greatest Hermes;
Having all three parts of the wisdom of the whole universe;
Herein have I completely explained the operation of the sun.

Now it's to say, that by completing the tablet steps as an alchemy process we may find the ultimate knowledge, the answer to everything and how it's derived from one source, explaining how the universe was created. This is further bolstered by the suggestion of many wondrous applications, the discovery of a distinct pattern, and worded as an operation of gold. Yet, in a spiritual sense we find a similar outcome that in the deepest understanding of all things may we become clairvoyant and one with universal knowledge; Suggesting everything we know, and our souls, are entirely the byproduct of conscious mind and its source of light.

Aztec Elements of Existence

An ancient Aztec mythology, The Five Suns, follows along the same concept of four cardinal elements and four cardinal directions, though the directions in this case refer to the outcome of world eras. The first era under the Jaguar Sun, Nahui Ocelotl, animals on the planet were giants and devoured by jaguars. Interestingly, well known historical record tells us giant animals did once roam the planet as dinosaurs. Did Jaguars kill them? As in the Jaguar sense as Quetzalcoatl, who then became worshiped and revered by man for being saved?

During the era of the Wind Sun, Nahui Ehecatl, people became monkeys as the world was destroyed by hurricanes and tropical storms; This may be referring to a drastic change at the end of an ice age as global temperatures warm to create unstable violent weather patterns. In the era of the Rain Sun, Nahui Quiahuitl, life on Earth was destroyed by raining fire and all those who survived were birds, or became birds in order to survive. Perhaps the Rain sun could be translated as Fiery Sun, by the sounds of a super volcano eruption, or asteroid impact fire and brimstone fallout reaching the ends of the Earth. During the Water Sun, Nahui Atl, life on Earth became fish as the world perished in a great flood; As with legends in Sumerian texts and the Bible. The fifth sun, or Earthquake Sun, Nahui Ollin, is the current era in a time believed to be destroyed by earthquakes; This remains to be witnessed.

What are the elements of existence?

In ancient Aztec codices, Ometeotl is believed by some scholars as the supreme creator of Aztecs through translation, as a god of duality both male and female commonly known as Tonacatecuhtli and Tonacacihuatl, born out of the nothingness of space to create the universe. Time has passed since the huge controversial hype over the Mayan calendar's supposed prediction of world annihilation on 2012's winter solstice event, and the calendar as well as the Mayans have received very little media attention since. The press wants a huge story from an old rock, and when the day passed without much of a sneeze, calendar mention went by the wayside. Multiple theories and speculations flew around social media and television channels, yet nothing we know in this physical realm changed. One thing for certain is, many millions of people wanted to see a spectacular natural event take place in their lifetime, and that dream likely did not die off overnight for true believers.

Think of this: Let's say with some level of technology or psychic intuition we were able to predict a future event which possibly could destroy the face of our planet - Would we leave a comparable artifact for future generations to discover? What if instead of destruction, the calendar pointed to an entirely different date, say around 1844, when Joseph Smith created multiple sun-stones in the Nauvoo temple, Illinois only to see them fall in the face of persecution.

At the time Mormonism wasn't well liked by other, more established religions, and many of his celestial inspired creations were destroyed. Could the Aztec calendar and Nauvoo temple event somehow be linked together? Does the face in the center represent a messiah, literally the Son, and not the physical sun Earth orbits around? In an actual photo of the calendar, the face does look a little like renditions of Jesus over the years. There are certainly some characteristics it has in common, a sort of crown, locks of hair, facial expression, eye shape. Maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but for some reason the calendar gives an entirely different meaning if Tonatiuh represents the messiah.

Aztalan Effigy Mounds

The mysterious ancient Indian settlement located in Aztalan Wisconsin, dating to around 1,300 CE reminds archaeology of how complex and strange history can be. Some researchers believe a Mississippian culture once lived here before abandoning the site due to lack of resources, by examining artifacts discovered on site.

However, no written language or legends of Aztalan have been passed down throughout the ages to give us a better understanding of who they really were. According to local history, farmers plowed over the land for years before its discovery.

One of the most striking facts about visiting Aztalan is how much the effigy mounds resemble step pyramid construction, though it's important to note stone steps seen in the image were later added during site restoration. Even the site's discoverer, Timothy Johnson mistook the site for having an Aztec influence. These flat top mounds are said to be part of ceremonial practices, possibly even to house a sacred fire at each end of the settlement.

Located on the Crawfish river bank, Aztalan once was a heavily fortified area with what appeared to be wood stockade walls and several watchtowers surrounding the area. The stockades appear to be related to a Mississippian site near St. Louis, called Cahokia. In the early 1950's survey work helped establish the stockade path which was later rebuilt using discarded telephone poles.

Several effigy and burial mounds are located this general area of Wisconsin, ranging in size and shape, dotting the kettle moraine. One of these mounds stands apart from the rest and is considered to be possibly the strangest mystery of the Aztalan fort. Deemed the Princess Burial, human remains were discovered with nearly 2,000 clam shell beads, some of which came from as far away as the Gulf Coast. It gets stranger, though. In the same area, not far from the main fortification, remains with distinct characteristics of an ancient Woodland Culture were discovered near Lake Delavan and Lake Mills.

The skeletons here appear to be giant-like humans with some reported as tall as 10 feet with equally proportionate bone girth. Some believe these skeletons are proof of giants described by ancient cultures and in the Bible, though conclusive proof has yet to be placed on the table. Anthropologists argue the remains may have appeared to be giants due to soil shifting and settling which causes the bones to spread apart slowly over time.

Modern science tends to compare life of today to our past for explanation, after all, we're a living example of what we once were. Then by that rule, our ancestors must have followed similar paths, constantly asking why. Eagle-Head Figures of Sitio Barriles

There is an unspoken code amongst ancient mysteries researchers in the pursuit of truth of mankind's past. It's one of honor and respect, to be open to new ideas and concepts, to be accepting of the fact history books may need to be rewritten. An incredible wealth of general research is performed around the world on a daily basis which lends to us the suggestion of something more, something beyond anything history has taught civilizations throughout the ages. Archaeology and studies of human history only recently found shape within the last couple hundred years.

Is it possible we perceive gaps in our history simply because these fields of research are new in the timeline due to the fact we just haven't yet found the correct knowledge to fill them in? Recently found locations such as Sitio Barriles (site of barrels BU-24) in Panama are great examples of ancient civilizations modern archaeology knows very little of. Carbon dating suggests the site to be anywhere from 2,600 to 600 years old and hints of who inhabited the area have been discovered. The area was first studied in the 1940's although findings of the time were not published conclusively. Artifacts found here are suggested by some archaeologists to depict deities with an eagle head, but upon further examination they appear to be something more.

What has been discovered at Sitio Barriles?

Figurines and pottery found embedded into rock-sides suggest the site was used for ceremonial purposes due to ash remains found in vessels believed to be used for cremation. Characteristics of Barriles pottery and figures show a distinct Central American influence, it's sometimes thought the culture(s) who inhabited the area descended from the Maya or Inca. After many years of study, whomever lived at Sitio Barriles hundreds of years ago remains a mystery.

It's interesting to note several glyph-type carvings found throughout the area which appear to be primitive in nature, theoretically act as a type of road map to help whoever once lived there find their way around the area. The drawings take on serpent-like forms, some say to show twisting, winding paths throughout the site.

When simply looking at these findings one can't help but notice the 'eagle' headed figures look more lizard, amphibian, or serpent in nature which coincides with navigation rock paintings scattered around the site. These deities definitely take on a strange alien-like appearance. Sitio Barriles is another example of a mysterious location we know little about yet it features artifacts that tell us another, unknown ancient culture believed in hybrid deities, enough to depict them throughout the majority of remains discovered at the site.
