Lately I have been on a make up splurge from Makeup Revolution which totally updated my Make Up case, Teaming it up with a Black Kitty Case from Wish and various other make up products you can see in this post. #DKNY Case from my Sister In Law and #RealTechnique Brushes from Superdrug

Got some delicious palettes from Makeup Revolution the #WhatYouWaitingFor Palette that I use daily, it's only recent that I bought it, and since I opened it, I've not missed a day wearing it.

To push my comfort zone out I found the #DiaDeLosMuertos Palette that has shimmer and matt shades and brights, that I have never dared to use before, and intend to test them out as soon as possible.

I am a sucker for sweet, kitty, kawaii packaging. But even though #MakeupAcademy isnt big on nice packaging, they still make the cut of my #BeautyOnABudget Make Up Bag as their colours and consistency of Palettes are simply divine and always have a place in my kits.

#SBS Shops, Jewellery and More........

So here it is, March already, my months seem to be whizzing by and I feel overwhelmed and exhausted all the time, It's probably due to Physio and Hydro being so intensive at the moment. But somehow in this time I have managed to apply for a #BeYourOwnBoss #ASOSMarketplace Boutique but sadly got turned down. So in other avenues I have joined my fellow #SBS winners, we are the Small Business on Sunday winners that are chosen by Theo Paphitis and opened up a Boutique on the Exclusive Store with them. It's early days and I've only registered the name #MysticMoon and my details, as the shopsbs doesn't go live until April I believe.

Here's me and a fellow #sbser at the #SBSevent2016 at Birmingham ICC, it was amazing as usual and totally inspiring and motivating. If only my health would cooperate and I could put all that I desire into practice, rather than constantly do Physio and Hydro and recover from that. I would like to get more into the business side and push #MysticMoon forward and try to sell more. But I guess for now I need to be happy with the small victories and be patient for now.

Wicked little planner and pen provided to each of us, placed on the seat, so once the seminar began we had somewhere to jot down notes and ideas while we listened to the guest speakers as well as Theo Paphitis himself. Here is where we were told about the opportunity to set up a new store exclusive for sbs winners, the #ShopSBS and for the first month we can all try it for free, so thats where I am today, registering the store name and arranging my listings. So that said I want to take new photos ready for the shop.

Clearly the sunshine helps with photos, but I dont always manage to get outside (health really does hinder my life) and I dont always have a willing model either. I have to bribe my youngest child to do it for me. How time flies..... February already??

Omg, I can't believe how fast time has flown by and it's 2 months ago since my last post! So much has happened in that time, but not realy blog worthy, and of course Physio keeps me on my toes literally.

So today I blogging on Physio and Hydrotherapy, seen as it does consume my time and energies so much. Naturally after Christmas everyone wants to eat better and get fitter, ultimately getting Healthy and setting new goals for themselves. Of course I have set these for myself, but not so much as diet, more lifestyle choices and getting the legs stronger and building on stamina too. So with that in mind my Physiotherapist decided to opt into a routine of Hydro and Physio each week, whereas before I was simply doing Physio once a week. This is a huge commitment to my Health and using all the energies I have in a week to perform these sessions. But I know it will be worth it, and could well speed up the process too.

So in the Hydro pool I get to Walk up the pool and down forwards, then Sideways. Do Hip Flexion, Abduction, Adduction and Extension exercises with a float attached to ankle currently doing 10reps each. Then using the step in the pool I do 20 Forward Step Ups, 20 Side StepUps and then 20reps of a Single Leg Dip on Step (really really hard to do on land, so the water helps massively) after these I grab some Flippers and proceed to walk up and down the pool in them, hilarious to watch, super extremely difficult to do, but boy does it work those muscles, including muscles you didn't realise you have. Then to finish off it's time to float and relax with the Woggles or Pool Noodles and gently contract the Leg and push downwards against the floats, again so much harder to do in reality.

Physio is much the same as Hydro but on land, so straight away your own weight works against you, meaning it's harder to do, and you can't do as much sadly. But to help me do more than the one week session at the Hospital, I decided to buy myself the exact equipment so I can do it at home as well. So I bought myself a #Tentable Areobic Step, I Live in a Bungalow so no steps I can safely utilize, and I got myself 1kg Ankle Weights that I can safely put onto Ankles and do the Hip Flexion, Abduction, Adduction and Extension with resistance that is safe and can be used anywhere, No more looking for Tables to place a band around, or bands snapping as they soon deteriorate.

In other news I have thrashed my walking stick arm, Bashed my 'funny bone' wasn't funny at all, and though I haven't fractured it, I have instead compressed the Ulnar Nerve (damn painful) which means I have to rest it lots and try not to bend the arm. Impossible as it's my walking stick arm and I need it to carry all of me whenever I walk ggggrrrrr. Somehow I'm meant to stop it from bending when I sleep as I lose the feeling in my little and ring fingers. Six weeks rest they say, Lets see what happens, it's only on day 12 so far.

So thats it folks, Hope you have a wonderful month, It's Imbolc to us Witches, which is a celebration of Birth (think lambs, chicks, as well as snowdrops etc) so you can use this as a perfect time to sow the seeds of new goals and projects, such as your health and fitness.

Yesterday was a dull day, Plan of physio and usual daily chores. But an Angel came down and delivered this package from a Heaven called #ASOS AHHHHHHHhhhhhhhh!! The Festive Green Sparkly Metallic Package popped through the door, I wonder what it is????

I had updated my deets on www.accessallasos.com and put in my preferences and made sure my address was valid etc... and today was the day the parcel arrived.

Well I got a Gorgeous #BarryM Nail Polish called Ballerina, which is a Nudey Dusky Pink, that is totally school/office friendly and perfect to wear for those that love the barely there look, which I do! and a Colouring book. This seems to be a HUGE trend at the mo, colouring in books for adults. I'd been doing this for years and got many a funny look in airports, but it is a fabulous past time and really therapeutic, Needing the person to be mindful and present in the moment, which we all could do with if we are honest with ourselves. The Colouring Book theme is Hipster's which is hilarious and so cleverly drawn by Charlotte Farmer, That i couldnt wait to get stuck in and of course being Ink Mad, I found a Sleeve Tattoo to colour in for starters and I put the Polish on immediately too. All in all I'm in LOVE.

Off to London for the weekend, and colouring in, could just be the perfect Train Journey past time?! and with weather not being quite so nice, there's nothing better than Hot Chocolate, Pj's, and Christmas Movies with a touch of pampering with Nail Varnish and Hobbies such as Colouring in. Hair Dye Trials and Experiments

Well I thought I would share my Hair experiments and trials, I do my own hair, simply dye the bottom half, so I dont have to mess around with roots showing etc.... I obviously need to bleach my hair first. But on top of that, I use various products mainly Stargazer and La Riche Directions Hair Dyes from Blue Banana

I used this time La Riche Flamingo Pink as Hair already loaded with a high Blue content, so needed to balance it out. But not too strongly as I prefer pastel tones, so I diluted it with Conditioner

Here's afterwards and straightened as Hair is pretty curly/frizzy naturally

Now it's perfectly Purple and Pink. This is how I prefer my Hair. Like an ombre look, it's darker at the top of the Bleached section and going towards the ends gets lighter and lighter and more pink. However it doesn't always stay long, and this time after using Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner, It's gone from this to this colour after 1 wash.

Not a bad colour, I'm thinking it's more Mermaid than Fairy now, But it's no bad thing. So there you have my journey of my hair colour over a few washes and how my hair is ever evolving and changing colours.

This time is Party Season Ready as it's Hero Product is the most Fabulous and Festive Ruby Red #Bellapierre Mineral Lipstick. Both rich in colour and smooth is texture. I love it, but alas the colour doesn't suit me, and it's almost too daring for me as well. So gave this to my elder daughter who wears and carries off these colours well. But if I came across this Lipstick brand in a soft latte, caramel colours or dusky pinks I would definitely be keeping it to myself.

Warwick Castle Halloween and Alton Towers Bonfire Night

Well November is here, I know I know it's already half way through November, But I've been uber busy with Samhain at Warwick Castle (Halloween) and Firework Night at Alton Towers. These events were outstanding and perfect, Super family fun that I would do again in a heartbeat. Though saying that I'm 8days since we went to Alton Towers and I'm still suffering Hip wise, it's 2inches bigger than other Hip, swollen and very very Sore, mainly from standing still and the walking about. But it's all been worth it.

I Love the old buildings and the History too, not just all the Bells and Whistles that the events have to offer. With #WarwickCastle I love the Kingmaker story as I'm a avid fan of the #WarOfTheRoses as I'm sooooo #Lancaster and my friends are all #York.We walked and soaked up the atmosphere and imagined the lives these place had had before they became tourist attractions. In seems incredible the Kings and Queens graced the halls and sat at the great hall, as we walk by the vibrations of this former life is tangible and easy to envision. With #AltonTowers we went to the the Zen Gardens where in it's former life was a scene of battle, where hundreds and thousands had lost their lives in a stalemate battle. I felt comfort that instead of cashing in on such tragedy they had instead created a Garden of Mindfulness and Meditation, so we walked it to honor their lives lost and pay our respects.

It's a shame that these places get so busy, but I can't moan for people wanting to have wonderful experiences like me. Hand on heart the Staff at these two places were incredible, Especially #AltonTowers Who went above and beyond making my day there special and inclusive, regardless of my walking issues and walking stick. I felt supported and like a first class citizen rather than often dismissed as a nuisance and hassle as most disabled people will tell you.

MysticMoon Update and a Look Fantastic Beauty Box October 2015

So after being extremely quiet and awol this year, due to intense Physio on the hips, I'm BACK!!! Feeling a little more in control with Health, and Energy than before, which is leaving me with a bit of time to feel like a Person again. Recovery is hard at the best of times and it's easy to let things slide, as your focus is purely on the recovering. But as ever you can get overwhelmed with Illness and it's starts to define you, and leaves you with nothing else to focus on. So this Year I took a Master Tarot Course which I recently Passed with Distinction, which I loved doing, it helped me learn new things which I really love, occupied my down days and broadened my knowledge. Well now that's done what else can I do to occupy myself?? I already create Jewellery,so in that area I am undergoing a revamp in Photos and Editing of the items, Making new Sterling Silver Chakra Pieces as they call me much more than the usual Jewellery for Jewellery's sake lately, I love the use of Gemstones for Healing Properties and thanks to #Beadsdirect they have a Stunning selection of Mandala's, Chakra Symbols and Gemstones for you to make a piece that is meaningful to you. But of top on that, I have decided to dip into the world of Beauty and Make-Up once again, Now the main focus isn't being Sweaty and Working out as much, It's time to focus on the outside of me once more. Yay!! Summer is nearly here! And I love it, the Warm Air, Blue Skies and BBQ's Aroma's whats not to like? Well I guess wasps and mozzie's but Hey, not bad really!! Open Air Music Festivals and Happy Smiley Faces make Summer my favorite season. And this year, I plan to do as much as my Disability allows, Physio is really helping and all the commitment I've given it over the Winter, is starting to pay off. I'm Slimmer, more Toned, and Lighter (which the Hips will really benefit from if I'm honest) and Hips are getting more 'normal' Not Pain Free by any stretch, or even walking unaided, but definitely an improvement, which I hope continues...

So with new body shape, comes the Fashion? What can I wear for the Summer this year? Scars still an issue, as in they are so big I can't hide them, and I can't hide the dents and lumps that surgery behind the scars create either. So Planning ahead, I use a Tanning Lotion, Usually I use this Tanning lotion

Which for Casper Ghostly white skin like mine is perfect, and it hides the scars too a bit. Not an easy thing to do when they range from 12inches to 4inches. But spotted this cheeky number on Asos it's called Cheeky 'Turn Me On' Gradual Tan and it's £12.00 for 200ml and looks like this.

Or for the cheaper alternative but still just as cute and quirky there is No More White Bits, Instant Self Tan Mousse and that is £4.00 for 200ml. And it looks like this.

But as that is an Instant one rather than Gradual, I'm leaning more towards the Cheeky one, as I prefer the Gradual Tans that seem to wear longer and cover better on me. So Tan sorted now for some Clothes.... Looking on Asos I can see I'm lusting after

Wow what a Year this is going to be!! We all joke that the Stars must be aligned for the good to happen, But this time it's the Moon herself that will be in place for us all.
Supermoon
Most Years we see anything between 3 and 6 Supermoons per Year. And this Year 2015 we are set to have 6 of them!! And our next one is due on the Spring Equinox (Time when Day and Night Length are of Equal Balance) We will see more supermoons later on in te Year, August, September and October.

Eclipses can only happen at new moon,So its a NEW MOON ( Perfect time for New beginnings, Start New Projects, Fresh Energies Abound, Which ties in Perfectly with the Spring Equinox as well, also a time for Fresh Energies, Time to Starting Sowing the Seeds for the Forth Coming Year)

when the moon appears is entirely in shadow. And the spectacular Supermoon images that are often spotted can only happen when the moon is full, since it can only be seen then.

Well as we move swiftly on from the First stirrings of Spring at Imbolc 2nd Feb and into the Vernal Equinox and Ostara which is March 20th as well as Solar Eclipse this year!! Perfect time to Spring Clean the Home, Work Projects and Blogs. Really see what is holding you back and how to move yourself forwards. So with this is mind I have with the help of a few friends started up my own Website, to one day own it and sell on there, instead of being one of thousands on Etsy, WTY, and SW. Though they will still have a place for me, at least while I find my feet. Also to attempt new things Business Wise, this is my Ultimate Goal this year. So learning how to build a website from scratch (not so easy for a middle aged technophobe!) Improve photos always, as that is a continuous learning curve, and really learn how to sell myself. So what better time of year to start all this, at a highly Spiritual Time as well as a SuperMoon time. Almost like it's fate!

This is the hardware I have had removed from my hip, so bit sore and stiff with a long road ahead. But I have done it before on the opposite hip, so I know I can do it.

Thankfully I made this years #SBS meet up and wasn't on crutches or as bad as I normally am on the walking stick either. It was perfect timing, as my Surgery was arranged for after this event. For that I'm grateful, as It meant I wasn't so swollen, sore and using so many Painkillers either.

So after all my weight loss, It was nice to buy some smaller clothes especially for the Occasion and I even bought some kitten heels to wear (it's been 7years since I've managed to wear any sort of heels due to Hip Surgeries)

I would love to say I got stuck in and met loads of the winners, But I'd be lying. I'm shy, awkward in social settings and I was so tired that day, that we even left before the event fully finished. As I knew I wouldn't get a new photo as that was for new winners only. I got to chat to @SilverBirchCrafts and @BOrganicSkincare and @DottieDesigns which was lovely and they know how shy and reserved I am. So there was no pressure and I was comfortable with them. Hopefully next time I will be brave enough to meet some more lovely winners.

The Clothes Show Live 2014

So after 23yrs years of really really wanting to go to The Clothes Show Live event at the NEC in Birmingham, I finally went this year. I had first been when i was at School, it was a School Trip and it must of made an impression on me for me to hanker all these years. I have always loved all things Fashion,Beauty,Hair and Accessories Hence my career as a Beauty Therapist, Make-Up Artist, Nail Tech and now into Jewellery Designing.

You never really lose your Passion for Fashion no matter how old you get, it just evolves as we do, You may no more want the Shortest Skirts and Highest Heels, but who doesn't want Great Skin and Beautiful Nails? And best of all, when I've been hopelessly immobile and swollen from surgeries, Beauty Products and Nail Varnishes always look Fabulous no matter the size you are, or how skilled you are. Less fickle than Fashion itself.

The Fashion Catwalk Show was outstanding, The Models get the audience the Electric Atmosphere, they looked like it wasn't work, more they were having a Laugh, and we were all invited. The Dancers kept all eyes glued on them from our family, and couldn't believe how fast 45mins went by. I could of watched them for Hours both Dancers and Models alike. In fact because I paid for a Groupon Ticket so cheaper than the Ticket Master ones, I would say just that Price alone I would of paid for the Catwalk Show, it was that good to me.

The Shopping of course was Fabulous too, and I can't not mention the sheer awesomeness of the deals we got. From Lee Stafford the Goodie Bags had gone from £10 each to 3 Goodie Bags for a £10, the Rimmel Goodie Bag was £5, the Models Own one went from pick 3 Polishes for £10 and Get a Free Goodie Bag down to pick 5 Polishes for £10 and get a Free Goodie Bag, and Ciate one was Pick This Set or That Set and get a Goodie Bag for £10 which changed to Get Beach House Set and DollHouse Set, with Neon Manicure Set and Free Goodie Bag for £10 which are Fabulous deals when they first start, but got so much better towards the end which was handy for us Last Day Visitors!! We bought a Clothes Show Bag for £3 which entitled us to get 2 Goodie Bags free. But Honestly that wasn't really worth it, all we got in them was 2 Skin Cream Samples, 1 Fruit Bar and 2 Smartwaters, But we ended up with 5Goodie Bags with 6 Waters, 10 Samples and 5 Fruit Bars, so not too bad for £3.00 Just dont expect much if you buy them in future.

Many other deals were on, such as Make-Up Brushes, Sleep In Rollers, Fake Tan and Make -Up Palettes and Perfumes, I saw the Barry M one but as you couldn't choose your Polish Colours I opted for Models Own instead.

This is just 1 of the Lee Stafford, so times this amount by 3 for the £10 it cost!!

We only bought the things we could actually see ourselves using pretty much, the only wild card Goodie Bag was the Clothes Show One, which I think really should of been better, They missed a trick there, as they were being sold for £8.00 and I would be been pretty annoyed if I'd paid that price for it!!
We saw loads just buying for the sake of it, buying multiples so no doubt they will end up on ebay at higher prices of course. The Crowds were bad at times, But come 3pm the madness had mainly passed and it was more pleasant to walk around and browse. I really enjoyed seeing the new up and coming artists and designers, the Colleges and Universities and their Catwalk Shows throughout the day. The Music was on point with each show and it totally made my day. Will I go back? You betcha I will, and I would do it via Groupon again, doing the Last Day and the Last Catwalk Show too!!

I bought this Box off another memebox addict, that had decided this one wasn't for her. It was an amazing price and I couldn't let this one go, especially as I knew beforehand what was in the box, as the Seller had provided photos and a write up, so it wasn't too much of a shock too me. Oh Boy do I ever Love Beauty, Fashion, Make-Up, Nails,Shoes and Bags!! I am a typical girl in that respect, and as a Nail Tech/Beauty Therapist I love to try out new Beauty Products and Nail Polishes, False Nails and see how they are.
