This new ramp from eastbound SR 60 (Courtney Campbell Parkway) going onto southbound Memorial Highway provides additional separation of traffic heading towards Tampa International Airport and I-275. Traffic going to Spruce Street/Cypress Street and the airport will continue to use the same ramp as before. However, drivers going to I-275 or Kennedy Boulevard will want to use the new ramp, which enters southbound Memorial from the left side into its own lane, avoiding the traffic exiting to Spruce Street/Cypress Street or Tampa International Airport. As you approach the end of the eastbound Courtney Campbell Parkway, the right lane is for airport and Spruce Street traffic, the middle lane is for I-275 and Kennedy Boulevard traffic, and the left lane will take you to the Veterans Expressway and other roads to the north. Tips for Drivers: Know which roadway or destination point (such as I-275 or Tampa International Airport) you wish to connect to, then follow the signs leading you to the connection point. Also, your GPS device will probably not be useful for these changed movements for a number of weeks/months, until the maps are updated for the service that feeds the info to your device or new maps are installed into your device.
