I have signed up with GoFundMe, a donations website dedicated to helping people raise money for projects. In my case I would like to raise funds for furniture for my future apartment. I did it so I would have a way to keep track of the funds raised, and to have a forum I can use to keer people informed of my project.

I’m hoping to get living room furniture, bedroom furniture, and dining room furniture. Anything you can donate would help a lot. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Me, that is. I have a new place, at the Metro, but I’m about broke and I’m facing hours of boredom. So I approach my (limited) audience and ask for a (huge) small favor; could some kind soul in the San Diego CA area donate a 19″ cable ready tv to the cause (of keeping me entertained and out of trouble)? Google is trying out self driving cars, and a major car manufacturer features one model with a backwards facing radar and an automatic brake system hooked up to it. Guess what this means?

It means sometime in the future you’ll need a special license to actually drive your own car. Indeed, people may soon stop buying or leasing for an extended period and rent for an hour or a day instead. Cabs may well become cheaper, especially where municipalities allow competition. Charter and delivery services may well expand.

Safer traffic, smoother traffic flow, that is what you’re looking forward to, and that car ad is but a forebringer.

Medicaid won’t pay for dental procedures. America’s dentists won’t do any dental procedure without getting paid. America’s physicians won’t touch dental problems because they’re “not medical problems” Physicians of America are bigots and cowards.

Zeroing in on the cause of Autism

Seems that Autism gets its start during fetal development, with genes that cause the overproduction of neurons in the brain. This means that vaccines have nothing to do with it. The only real connection vaccines have with Autism is that vaccines are typically first administered around the age Autism is most often diagnosed. It is, in short, a coincidence.

A Quandary

I have met these two ladies, Yara and Kate, with both being about half my age. Now Kate, I think, is chronologically younger, but Yara is younger in many other ways. Yara tends to be a bit insecure, and I don’t want to disappoint her. I certainly don’t want to see either crushed, especially now, when both are going through some rough times. At present Yara thinks of me as a surrogate father, while Kate apparently thinks of me as an uncle.

So how do I assure both that each is my friend, and that being friends with the other does not change that? If you have any advice you can leave it in comments. I think I can work something out, but I could use some help.
