When you click on the link, a window will open up in your browser, taking you to where that book is shelved on a virtual book shelf.  To explore more titles, just click on the arrows to browse to the left or right.  You can scan through the stacks without having to leave your computer.

You can see all the books in the NCSU Libraries’ collection–even books located in different branches, that are checked out, or are available online.   To get more information just roll the cursor over the title to see the author, title, call number and publication date.  To go to a title’s full information page, just click on the cover.

There are two ways to use this powerful search tool. To use UNC Library Express directly from the catalog search page, just select the UNC system librares and beyond option on the search page:

When you are searching within the NCSU Libraries Catalog, you can also find a link that will take you to UNC Library Express on the upper right of the screen:
When you find find a book you want on UNC Library Express, just click the Request Item button to place your request:

This button will link you to our Tripsaver service who will fulfill the order.  When the book arrives at the library, we will send you an email and let you know it is available for pickup.  It is that easy–just search, request, and pick up!
