Belmont, CA, December 21, 2011 — Although the uplifting singing and festive dancing of Notre Dame de Namur University Theatre's production of "A Christmas Carol: The Gift" have ended, the gift keeps on giving to people in need throughout the Bay Area. The production, which asks for donations of toys and food from the audience, collected four tons of food and 1650 toys. These were distributed to Second Harvest Food Bank, Belmont Fire Department's Toys for Tots, AIDS Community Research Consortium, St. Anthony's Padua Dining Room and Samaritan House.
