Working along side and supporting the Business Development Manager the Business Development Executive will be responsible for implementing and championing the Client Relationship Management System (CRM), ensuring client data is captured and analyzed and appropriate client communications are developed. Therefore previous CRM management experience, with solid IT and analytical skills are a prerequisite for this role.

Please note that experience in the lighting industry is essential to be successful in this role.

Reporting to the VP Sales & Marketing, as the Sales Manager / Business Development Manager you will work with distributors and take responsibility for the lighting market in Europe, Central Asia and North and South America. This position can be home based or based in their Swansea office, and will involve occasional UK and International travel.

With your experience of the lighting market, as the Sales Manager / Business Development Manager you will enhance the existing client base whilst penetrating new companies and you will develop account strategies around targets companies/partners.

Ensuring you maximise sales to both end-user companies within the lighting sector and through dealer channels worldwide, you will be confident in taking qualified leads and converting them to volume sales.

To succeed you will have experience of the lighting market. Although not essential, preferably you will have LED experience. You must also be able to successfully manage a sales pipeline and have sales planning, forecasting and reporting skills.

Highly motivated and dynamic, as the Sales Manager / Business Development Manager you will enjoy taking a hands-on approach to new business development and you will be comfortable managing and developing sales plans and key partner relationships.
