Interview: Ian Cofino, Director of I Got Next

Last week I had a short chat with Ian Cofino, Director and Producer of I Got Next, a fascinating documentary looking into the competitive world of fighting games in the US.

A 45 minute cut of the film was released in 2009 and covered just three months in the lives of some of America’s greatest players and the community which surrounds them. Cofino continued to film for a year before he had enough footage to finish his feature length documentary. Right now the film is waiting for a distributor.
