Susan, who holds a Ph.D. from Bryn Mawr, is a communications trainer, coach and strategist with a broad array of clients. She has extensive corporate experience including 10 years at AT&amp;T headquarters in media relations, employee communications, annual reports, publications, public policy and global mergers and acquisitions. While Susan was head of consumer affairs, AT&amp;T won the Malcolm Bridge National Quality Award. She was AT&amp;T’s public relations manager on “Africa One”, an innovative, multi-carrier, global consortium that built a leading-edge communications network for the continent. In addition, she helped build the bi-partisan consensus leading up to the passage of the “Telecommunications Act of 1996.”</div>

Currently, as Market President of TDI Bank’s Central Jersey area, he is responsible for the counties of Essex, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Morris, Somerset and Union. Previously he was regional vice president for Essex, Hudson and lower Bergen Counties where he was responsible for leading the bank’s commercial and retail banking operations. Scott joined the Marketing Department of Investors Bank in 2007 and was appointed Vice President and Director of the department in 2010. He currently leads a marketing team of seven professionals. <p>Steve Lubetkin, managing partner of Lubetkin Global Communications, moderated a panel of bank executives discussing recent rebranding initiatives, during the NJBankers Directors and Managing Officers Conference March 5, 2013 in Woodbridge, NJ. More than 200 senior bank executives attended the conference and participated in the interactive discussion about best practices in brand marketing for banks.</p>
<p>Steve will make a return appearance in June at the NJBankers Marketing Conference in Monroe Township, NJ, to discuss how banks can best use social media. In his last appearance at that conference, Steve&#8217;s presentation caused a stir when he responded to an audience question about the value of monitoring social media.</p>
<p>Searching on the name of a major bank in Twitter, Steve demonstrated why bank marketing and communications people need to monitor what is being said about them in social networks. The first search result made an obscene remark about the bank &#8212; and became the topic of <a title="Marty Daks column about Steve's 2009 NJBankers presentation" href="http://www.lubetkin.net/docs/NJBizBankers2009-06-10.pdf" target="_blank">an online column by Marty Daks</a> (PDF), then banking correspondent for NJBiz.com.</p>

<p>Steve spent nearly 15 years in senior communications positions in the financial services industry, including 10 years with Standard &amp; Poor&#8217;s, the world&#8217;s leading bond rating and equity analysis firm, and five years in commercial banking with Summit Bank, FleetBoston Financial Corporation, and Bank of America, before opening Lubetkin Global Communications in 2004.</p>

<p>Michele Clay, regional director of sales and marketing for Wells Fargo, discussed the bank&#8217;s recent rebranding of its newly acquired Wachovia Bank during a presentation at the New Jersey Bank Marketing Asssociation&#8217;s May 2011 marketing seminar in Clark, NJ.</p>
<p>Based in New Jersey with 37 years experience in regional banking and in sales and marketing, Michele had supported Wachovia markets across the East Coast.</p>
<p>She is currently directing the sales and marketing efforts for Wells Fargo in the Northeast which includes New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.</p>
