Selling my 2006 PRS Singlecut Goldtop. This is an older core model (vintage?) with the somewhat rare dot inlays. Minor play wear, but an excellent player with lots of mojo. 9.5 pounds. Tuners have been upgraded to Hipshot locking tuners. Original PRS #7 pickups, which are hotter PAF-style pickups. The tone controls have been disconnected, but this can easily be reverted.

Comes with the hardshell case + case candy. A great chance to own a core model for less than most S2 models!

Wilkinson branded, stamped hardened steel original '54 "Strat" style saddles, full set with screws and springs. Brand new, never used. 10.8 mm wide, 54 mm (2 1/8 inch) string spacing. Replicas of the original.

High string height " Action "
It's the most common problem with the guitars that come through my door. Makes the guitar difficult, if not impossible to play.
High action, or high string height is caused by four things normally.
1-Too much relief in the neck. " too much concave bow."
2-The cuts or notches in the nut are not deep enough, " mostly on new guitars surprisingly "
3-The saddle needs to be reduced in height. " easy fix "
4-Or over time , the top has bellied. " risen up "
These issues can all be fixed.
Lowering the action is achieved by addressing a combination of these issues.
It will feel and play like a different guitar with the action set properly.

Rare find! This is a 1969-1972 era Gibson ES-335TD in remarkable condition. Haven’t been able to put a precise date on it but based on numerous factors such as the six digit serial number (111560) with Made in USA stamp on the headstock, trapeze tailpiece, label inside showing made in Kalamazoo, MI plant, etc, place it in this time frame. To my knowledge it is completely original except for replacement period-suitable Gibson tuners and at least 1 of the pots is dated 1992. Some slight checking in the finish as would be expected on a 55 year old instrument. Minor nick in back of neck which doesn’t affect playability. Original case also included however that is in fairly poor condition. Pictures don’t really do it justice. Serious inquiries only please. EDIT: Had a few questions about the case - it is the original but in poor shape. Added a couple of pictures to try and show it. I should have mentioned that I got the guitar from Hutton’s Music when they were downtown. Don’t know the exact date but I think it was very early 1990’s. I have had the guitar ever since.
