We are ready to start off this year with a real world case study from Kiwibank.

Kiwibank uses SharePoint as a business technology platform. Recently they concluded a upgrade/migration of their existing solutions and the platform to SharePoint 2010 without the use of any third party migration tools.

Migrating from SharePoint 2007 to 2010 can be a large undertaking for any organisation. It will lead to numerous tasks and decisions that need to be made along the way by business owners and technology managers. This session will give you an overview of entire process and give you some top tips and points to consider based on the experiences of real world scenarios. We’ll cover the options when upgrading, the process that will need to be followed and the tools and infrastructure to need to get the job done. We’ll also cover the gotchas that could trip you up along the way.

The session is presented by Duncan Hammond (Solution Lead from Knowledge Cue) and Jose Parra Lopez (Solution Architect from Kiwibank)
