Licensure Transfer

The Electronic Licensure Transfer Program enables licensed pharmacists to easily transfer their existing license from one state to another.

NAPLEX

This examination measures candidates’ knowledge of the practice of pharmacy and is just one component used by boards of pharmacy in their licensure process.

MPJE

This examination combines federal- and state-specific questions to test pharmacy jurisprudence knowledge; 49 boards of pharmacy utilize the MPJE.

PCOA

An assessment tool for schools and colleges of pharmacy to measure student performance; it may also help evaluate a school’s curriculum.

VAWD

An accreditation program for wholesale drug distributors that was developed to help protect the public from contaminated, diverted, or counterfeited drugs.

Verified Pharmacy Program

NABP's Verified Pharmacy Program (VPP) streamlines the process for pharmacies obtaining or renewing licensure in multiple states. VPP assists applicants with meeting inspection requirements and allows for the distribution of necessary information to the boards where a new or renewed license is being sought.

AWARxE Prescription Drug Safety

NABP and the boards of pharmacy are committed to ensuring pharmacies and pharmacists are providing consumers and their families medicines and patient services that are safe. Our AWARxE Program has helpful information such as where to get help for prescription drug abuse and a search tool for finding permanent drug disposal sites nationwide.
