Can you tell I've been wearing Maxi dresses all Summer long? Below are some of my favorite dresses from this Summer. They all have their own unique style but they're all favs. The light lime green tiered ruffle dress is originally from Torrid, I checked and it's sold out so I tried finding some similar cut dresses. The second dress I'm wearing is from Aerie and is also sold out. They were all so cute and going so fast. Since I'm in Florida, you can basically catch me wear maxi dresses until December. Well...really all year lol.

I've really been nailing these vacation outfits except I'm not in the Caribbean living my best life. Does Florida count as vacation if you're originally from here? I did save this look though for when Junior and I actually do go on vacation somewhere tropical. I've been showing off my thigh crease a lot lately.

I actually got them at a beauty supply store in Queens last year and I'd walk back and check every so often for them to restock. I found similar ones below.

Living Room Lounging

I've been living room lounging, like most of us. This cute loungewear set is from Femme Luxe. I recently got this super cute tie dye t-shirt from them too that I'll take pictures and post in a few days from now. I miss dressing up cute and doing stuff. Not going to lie lol. The only thing that's been exciting me lately is new music. Has anyone picked up any new hobbies? I've learned how to do my own nails and hair during this pandemic. I've literally colored my hair this pretty light brown bronde color by myself with a little guidance through facetime from my hair stylist in L.A. I put it up on my IG as my first reel video. x

A Snack

How has everyone been feeling with everything going on? I've been trying to find little things to do to continue feeling better throughout the day, week, month, whatever. One of them is just getting dressed up and getting cute to have dinner with my boo. Every month, Junior and I have tried to do a little "getaway", even if it's in the same town. We just book an AirBnB for a day to wind down and spend real time together. I got this Femme Luxe dress to wear to our little dinner together. I usually get their comfy loungewear too for when we're just chilling around. Their monochrome looks with joggers are my go-to. Is there anything you guys do to make yourself feel better during all of this? It's also okay to not be okay. Just a reminder. x

Hair Food

Nourishment is really the perfect way to describe my 2020. I've slowed down to really pay attention to myself. It was needed and long overdue. I'm talking mentally, physically, emotionally. ALL OF IT. Truly nourishing myself in every way possible and that even includes my hair. Below are a few things I do to make sure my hair is living her best life:

1. I stopped washing my hair every single day.

2. I'm using Hair Food Organics Coconut Oil & Dragon Fruit Shampoo and Conditioner. This line is made with 70% organic ingredients, free of sulfates, parabens, dyes, silicones, and synthetic fragrances. It's also Cruelty-Free. I picked mine up at Costco where the collection is exclusively available at select locations and online.

3. I'm waiting longer in-between lifting and coloring my hair.

4. I make sure to get a trim every 3 months.

I can't stress enough how different your hair feels once you eliminate all of the harsh chemicals. A few years back when I had my hair down to my low back, it was almost impossible to regularly brush my hair straight out of the shower. You could literally feel the build up on my hair. Ever since then, I knew how crucial it is to use products that are truly good for you. I'm happy I have that with Hair Food's Organic line. Have you guys ever tried Hair Food products? Aerie animal print

Honestly, the best part of me living in Florida this next year is getting some sun. The humidity somehow makes my skin look better than it is, so that's a plus too. This 2 piece animal print bikini from Aerie has the perfect fit. The material is super stretchy so it hugs your body well. I'm wearing a size Large in the top (because smaller boobies) and a XL in bottoms (because bigger cheeks).

Gabi S4A

EEEEKK! I'm always so excited whenever I get a chance to shoot with Gabi for her Swimsuits4All collection. Really just excited whenever I get to see and spend time with her. About 7 years ago, Gabi had myself and Maxey shoot with her in Brooklyn for her first ever Swimsuits 4 All collection. We're back again all the years later to shoot again for this drop. I love how minimal all the suits are. Gabi's also a Virgo so it's fun being on set with her because it's like watching myself lmfao. I also really don't have a favorite for this collection because they're all my favorite. I'm wearing a size 16 in the suits. I typically wear a size 14 in everything else so whatever size you are, size up one! xx

Just Because

Hi. Sorry I've been absent. There was a pandemic and I was getting my life situated. LOL. Plus there's still Instagram and TikTok where I've been spending most of my time dancing to 15 second song clips. Mirror selfies have not changed clearly. I'm wearing this ruched dress from Femme Luxe to literally no where. I just wanted to be cute for the day. I should be in their Loungewear right now because they have so many cute sets, especially their joggers. What's everyone been up to during all of this? Honestly, it's totally fine if you haven't been doing anything. I haven't really been either. Just happy to be able to spend some time with my family. Wishing you guys all of the best in this stressful time. x

Hollywood Hills

I still have more images from last month when I was in L.A. shooting with Fashion to Figure for their Spring looks. These asymmetrical button pants are super comfy. I'm wearing a size 14 in them. This Mariposa mesh top is stretchy as hell and I'm wearing a size 0 in it for reference. Am I going to lunch in this pink set or am I going to a business meeting? I don't know. Maybe both? Everyone's been asking about my lace up heels and I bought them a few years ago but I found some similar ones at ASOS. They're wide fit AND they have a chunky heel so it's easier to walk in. xx

I'm still using pictures I shot right before quarantine. I never realized how many pictures I sit on and never post. I'm wearing this olive green mini dress from Femme Luxe. You're going to slowly start seeing me back in my every day fits also known as, SWEATS. lol. They have some really cute loungewear sets too. I'm wishing the best for everyone during this time. I keep seeing posts that say you should be productive during this time and there is no excuses. It's also okay to not do much, or focus on staying healthy, or your mental health. You don't have to live up to what everyone else thinks you should be doing. x

Spring Dresses

When FTF and I were shooting this yellow dress, I couldn't stop saying "I'm Belle in this bitch"...channeling my inner Beauty and The Beast. Also, sitting on a ledge with one buttcheeks big as mine, is more difficult than it looks lol. This front tie purple dress flows so beautifully. The arms are sheer which I really love. My favorite out of all of these dresses though is this twist white t-shirt like dress. It's sold out at FTF but I found a similar one over at ASOS. It's perfect for Spring/Summer.

Drawstring Sweater

I never realized how many pictures I've been holding out on. My blue ruched dress is from FTF and I had these clear blue mule heels in my closet at my parent's house and completely forgot about them. I took these pictures outside of an office supplies store and the cutest older couple came out and stared at me while smiling ear to ear. I wish I could take behind the scenes for the past 10 years of everyone who stops and questions why I'm taking pictures of myself lmao. Before when Instagram wasn't around, people were really confused.

I know, I know I've been doing monochrome looks heavy lately. I dressed down this Femme Luxe ruched dress with a pair of Yeezy 350 Copper Cores. Is she going to a business meeting or is she just going out for a quick lunch and then to run errands? The answer is...no where because I'm practicing staying at least 6 feet away from people during this time lol. This dress is a perfect essential for layering. They also have a ton of other essentials for layering like their black lace bodysuits or all their blue and black denim jeans. I hope all of you are staying safe, healthy, and happy during this time. I'm thinking of all of you. x

Wow. I love shamelessly using cute dogs as props in my photos. LOL! Look how cute she is. Now look at how cute I am. Thanks. I actually left these Dr Martens boots in Florida at my parent's house and was like oh hi, I'm going to wear these now that I'm back in town. The exact boots I'm wearing are the Dr Martens 1460 8 eye leather boots in cherry.

I went shopping with my mom at JCPenney and found these pink pants were laying folded up on a table. They also come in a tan color and got those too. Any time I can wear something oversized, I wear something oversized. I'm wearing a size XL even though I could truly fit a Large. They were on sale for like $12 and still are now!

Ahhhh! She's finally back in Florida so she can be half naked outside again in my mini dresses. I'm in major need of some color in my skin since I've been hibernating in NY/NJ the past few months. Actually the weather in Florida right now is perfect at about 75 degrees. This week gets up to the high 80's so I'll plan on going to the beach then. I got this cute strapless dress from Femme Luxe. I'm wearing a size 12 but it's super stretch so it could also work for 14 too. I know Spring break is here. What's everyone's plans? x

I've been wearing cute tops like this one from Femme Luxe with regular jeans or sweats. It's only the days where I don't feel like dressing completely down and want to be semi-cute, it somehow works. My best friend and I always use to find the cutest corset tops at thrift stores but now I'm happy brands are bringing them back full force. They also have the cutest corset dresses.

Pop, Lock & Drop It

I've been trying to manifest as much as I can lately. I use to do it all the time when I first began blogging. I really do try and acknowledge all the hard work I put in to things. I think we need to give ourselves a little more credit than we do. My top and jeans are from FTF. I'm OBSESSED with shirts that are open in the back, especially ones that tie. These are the perfect "mom" jeans because they look good on your buttcheeks but aren't tight at the ankles and are a litttttle bit distressed.

I never really do too much during fashion week but I actually popped up 2 or 3 times at events this past year. I did one cute day, and then one comfy day. This was clearly the comfy day. Monochrome Queen

Last year, deep teal was one of my favorite colors and I lowkey haven't stopped loving it. Monochrome situations are always my go-to and have been for some time. My aunt gave me this gold vintage elephant belt when I first began blogging years ago. Believe it or not, walmart actually has a similar elephant belt to it, just less elephants.

Heavy Weight

Noopppee I did not cut my hair, this wig is just everything. This outfit is half "I'm in NY" and half "but we're in Florida so the weather is technically just chilly." I'm wearing Fenty Stunna Lip Paint in the color Uncensored. My oversized earrings remind me of that episode where Khloe said "the bigger the hoop, the bigger the hoe" and I still laugh at that.

Blue Bike Shorts

I found this tie dye turtleneck at a thrift store almost 6 years or so ago and I made it into a crop top just because I am who I am. I also got these corduroy-like biker shorts from the thrift store 2 years ago when I was living in Los Angeles. All I can say is I've really missed all the great things you can find at a thrift store, and I'm not talking about one of those hand me down stores that are already curated with nice things. I mean, actual Goodwill, Salvation Army, mom and pop thrift stores. The hunt to find something good is always fun for me. Also, Vans are always an inexpensive shoe and I style them with so many outfits. I have a basic white pair and a basic black pair of the lace authentics that go really well with almost anything. The second they started making the platform version of them, I went and got them too. There's a beauty supply shop around the corner from where Jr's mom lives in Queens that I get all of my oversized velvet hair ties from. I have them in too many colors than you can imagine.
