A decade ago, a family trip was planned. We were in total of 40 people who were part of the journey. We started the journey from Nagpur to Agra by train then boarded a rented bus from Agra which was supposed to enroute us through Uttarakhand, Delhi & Himachal Pradesh.

Being from the center of India & rarely traveled out of the state it was the first experience to touch down the northern states of India. It was May when we had the tour Agra & Delhi were looking quite similar in terms of the heat we are familiar with but the experience we got was spine chilling in Manali & in Rohtang pass. It was unimaginable, most of you people might disagree but it was an overwhelming experience. Personally, I loved being the weather which was most of the time cloudy.

Himachal Nature: Disturbingly Beautiful

I remember, we reached Manali during the night time. The hotel we were supposed to stay overnight was a typical county hotel of British county yard background. I sucked into the atmosphere. During the first few moments, we were witnessing a sound of flowing water, which has a tremendous current. We could sense the sound throughout the night but we were so tired during the day journey none of actually bother to sneak what’s the scenario. I was personally so eager to get early in the morning and capture rare eye sights for people belongs to Nagpur.

I remember during those days the first digital camera by kodak was launched, I had that. I went to the top floor which was a roof-shaped, it had a circular window, I was amazed to see that and the next thing I saw through it was a sunray on the mountain of ice all that as a portrait. After that I was still hearing the sound of water I chose to divert my mind on it and got shocked by my life by watching a full-throttle river flowing with the huge current which has icey color to it. I was pouring into the love for the nature Himachal poses which were disturbingly beautiful. People who love mountains and scenery such as these should visit the place once in a lifetime may be more than that.

“When you are close to nature your life takes a different turn” heard of this line somewhere.

Himachal People: Sweet as Jaggery

I never knew once the trip got over I well be able to visit again, I never did. I do not know why as yet. I never thought of connecting one more time to turn my life with directions. Fortunately, I have some connections build over the past few years of getting my chance to meet and talk to people who belong from Himachal. Again some of you might disagree but I find the nature of the state and people is as sweet as jaggery. I do not know if I have fallen for the place or the people I know.

I want to visit there again. God knows If I could have my second home town in the state or maybe the in-laws ;). The place, people, weather and nature is such beautiful, I want to be a part of Himachal. I misplaced my cap bought from Kullu, I want to have it back. The place gives you nothing but happiness. With all gratitude, I would like to say thanks a lot that my wish has come true & I toured Himachal with now having great memories & came back with a cap. Don't feel 'rusty', says Ashish Nehra

Nagpur (Maharashtra)[India], Jan. 30 (ANI): Veteran pacer Ashish Nehra, who played an important role alongside Jasprit Bumrah during India's thrilling victory in Nagpur T20 against England, has insisted that all he needs is just a practice match to 'get into the groove', adding that he doesn't feel himself to be 'rusty'.

Nehra took two English wickets in successive balls and then took one more crucial wicket in the later part of the innings to hand over his side a narrow five-run win over the Eoin Morgan-led side.

"Whether I'm playing 50 overs or T20 or if I'm bowling in the nets with a single stump to aim at, I've never felt short of match practice. It takes me only one game to get back into the groove," he said while addressing the media in the post-match press conference.

"I don't see that there has to be so many games under Ashish Nehra's belt before he plays. I played last game after 7-8 months. But I didn't feel I was short of practice. But I don't see myself or I don't feel myself that must rusty."

The left-arm pacer played last in the T2o World Cup in 2016 and then the subsequent Indian Premier League (IPL) before taking a break from cricket to undergo a knee surgery.

"I will play domestic cricket in the coming months - 50 overs and T20 and there's IPL too for two months. I believe if you've been playing so much for so long, match practice is very important whether you're a bowler or batsman People like me or MS Dhoni who are not playing Test cricket right now, have to play domestic games and ultimately experience does matter," he said.

The 37-year-old further heaped praise on Bumrah, who bowled exceptional last two overs of his spell and helped his side level the series 1-1.

"Bumrah always backs himself. He is very good at death bowling and I only hope he gets better and better with age," he said.

"The way he is growing as a bowler, I am sure he will prove to be an asset for the Indian team in the coming years," he added.

Nehra insisted that it was important for India to pick up early wickets as they were defending a small total.

"When you are defending a small total of 130, 140 odd, you need to take wickets up front. That's what we did in this game. I took two wickets which ultimately out England under pressure," he said.

He also insisted that it the mental toughness which one requires to bowl at the death.

"When you are bowling at death, you are always under pressure as a bowler, especially in this format of the game. But still, you have to back yourself. This was not the first time for us (Me and Bumrah) to bowl at death. You have to mentally back yourself when you are bowling at the death and say you can do it," he said.

"You can practice it at the nets but I personally feel it's the mental toughness which is most important," he added.

The two teams will next face each other in what one can expect to be another thrilling series decider at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday. (ANI)

A day after he and his team was assaulted by Rajput Karni Sena for allegedly distorting historical facts, national award-winning director Sanjay Leela Bhansali cancelled the shooting of his upcoming movie 'Padmavati' in Jaipur on Saturday.

Strongly condemning the vandalism and assault, Bhansali said the incident was "uncalled for" and extremely damaging to the image of the beautiful city. In a statement, Bhansali said that keeping in mind the safety of the film's crew he had decided to stop the shooting of the film post the "shocking" incident.

"... for the safety of his crew, we have decided to stop the shoot and leave the city post the shocking incident where miscreants damaged property and misbehaved with the crew on the shoot of 'Padmavati'," the statement read.

Refuting claims of the fringe group that the film will feature an intimate scene between Alauddin Khiji, played by Ranveer Singh and Rani Padmavati (Deepika Padukone), Bhansali said that there is no such sequence.

"We clarify that there is no dream sequence or any objectionable scene between Rani Padmavati and Allauddin Khilji. We have been carefully researching and making the film. In spite of this, the attack on the shoot and crew was uncalled for and was extremely damaging to the image of the beautiful city of Jaipur."

“The claim in the ad, ‘Airtel 4G is the fastest network ever’ and ‘If your network is faster, we will pay your mobile bills for life’, is misleading by omission in the absence of appropriate disclaimers in the print, TV, hoarding advertisements. The advertisement contravened Chapter 1.4 of the code,” said the notice,

“We have advised the Advertiser to withdraw or to modify appropriately the said advertisement before 7 October 2015 or seek a review of the decision. If you continue to see the advertisement after the due date, kindly bring the same to our notice,” the ASCI notice further added.

Chapter 1.4 of the code suggests that advertisements shall neither distort facts nor mislead the consumer by means of implications or omissions.

“Advertisements shall not contain statements or visual presentation which directly or by implication or by omission or by ambiguity or by exaggeration are likely to mislead the consumer about the product advertised or the advertiser or about any other product or advertiser,” the code ssya.

An Airtel spokesperson assured that the company had received the notice.

The company will look up the issue with the ASCI.

“We are engaging with ASCI to provide them with the technical data in support of our advertising claims and are following the prescribed process to schedule a review of the said issue. We are confident of getting a favourable response from them,” the company said in a statement on the notice.

“4G technology is proven to deliver the fastest Internet experience, and the same has been accepted globally. As the only commercial providers of this world-class technology in India, our advertising campaign revolves around the 4G promise of fastest Internet speeds and features a set of claims that are based on rigorous test conditions,” the statement added.

A senior official at ASCI said the notice was not binding as yet and the firm would get some time to appeal the decision.

In May, ASCI issued notices to Idea Cellular Ltd and Vodafone India as well as to Airtel for their 3G advertisements. In the case of Idea, ASCI said that its advertisement of Idea Internet Network was found to be misleading by ambiguity as it led consumers to believe that through Idea Internet Network (IIN), a student can avail of the same level of education (economics and biology) as is being provided in a college.

“There is no data to support that the subjects being referred to in the advertisement are being made available for formal education,” ASCI added.

Similarly, the case for Vodafone India Ltd’s advertisement claiming “Fastest 3G Network” was also not substantiated adequately and was misleading by ambiguity, ASCI said. In the case of Airtel’s 3G ads, ASCI found that the claims of being “India’s Best 3G network” and that “Airtel gives 122% faster download speeds than other 3G networks” were not adequately substantiated.
