Thinking of textured polishes, I realized I have one for a long, long time. Here it is:
Razmišljajući o lakovima s teksturom, shvatila sam da već dugo, dugo imam jednog. Evo ga:

This is Milani 'silver dazzle' from 'one coat glitter' collection. On pics you see one coat, no topcoat. The polish is pretty thick, but the application is flawless, and it really covers everything with just one coat. I thought it will be more gritty but it's not, think two coats of topcoat would completely even its surface. Unfortunately there was no sun outside when I took the pictures, but you can imagine all the glitter in full shine. Drying time is not that great, otherwise this is awesome polish, I absolutely love this wet cement look.

Remember those stars I showed you the other day? I thought they will look great on this polish.... and I was right. On top of it is one coat of topcoat.

Ovo je Milani 'silver dazzle' iz 'one coat glitter' kolekcije. Na fotkama je jedan sloj, bez nadlaka. Lak je prilično gust ali savršeno lako se nanosi i uistinu prekrije sve sa samo jednim slojem. Mislila sam da će biti i hrapaviji ali nije tako strašno, mislim da bi ga dva sloja nadlaka sasvim izravnala. Na žalost, nije bilo sunca dok sam ga fotografirala, pa možete samo zamisliti kako izgleda u svom punom sjaju. Vrijeme sušenja bi moglo biti i bolje, inaće je ovo stvarno super lak, fantastičan mi je ovaj izgled svježeg betona.

Sjećate se onih zvjezdica od pred neki dan? Činilo mi se da bi mogle super izgledati s ovim lakom... i bila sam u pravu. Na vrhu je još i sloj nadlaka.

I finally have my very first Zoya nail polish! This time I decided for a classic creme in red color, named Zoya Alix. Sit for a minute and let yourself enjoy in this beauty.
Konačno imam i prvi Zoya lakić ! Ovaj put sam se odlučila za klasični krem lakić u crvenoj boji, koji se odaziva na ime Zoya Alix. Sjednite na trenutak i uživajte u ovoj ljepoti.

On pics you see two coats, no topcoat, first two pictures taken in the shade, the rest of them in the sun. In the bottle you'll found 15 ml of polish, the brush reminds me of those in China Glaze polishes, with this shade application is awesome, drying time too, see how glossy the polish is even without the topcoat... I just love it . The only thing I hate about this polish is its price . You can found it in Müller for some 99,00 kn which is around 17 $, too much if you ask me. Last weekend we had a discount of 20%, and that was the only reason why I bought it (beside my addiction, obviously)... otherwise my collection would still be waiting for this brand. As for durability, I'm not that impressed, the very next day I saw some tip wear... but what a heck, I really really love the color! That's why I added L'oreal Confettis over it.

Na fotkama su dva sloja, bez nadlaka, prve dvije poslikane u hladu, ostatak na suncu. U bočici je 15 ml laka, četkica je ista kao ona u China Glaze lakovima, nanošenje ide kao podmazano, vrijeme sušenja je super, a vidite i kako se sjaji i bez nadlaka... jadno moje srčeko . Jedina stvar koja me smeta kod ovog laka je cijena . Zoya lakove možete naći u Müllera za nekih 99,00 kn što je otprilike 17 $, stvarno previše (naročito s obzirom na činjenicu da kod nas China Glaze košta 38 kn a po meni nije ništa lošiji brand). Prošli vikend sam naletila na popust od 20% pa sam ipak poklekla i kupila ga (nisam đabe ovisnica)... inaće bi ovaj brand meni još uvijek bio nedostupan. Što se tiče trajnosti, tu baš i nisam impresionirana. Već sutradan sam primjetila izlizane vrhove... ali baš me briga, boja mi je prenapeta! Pa sam mu dodala L'oreal Confettis.

L'oreal Confettis is the most popular topcoat in Croatia! I got it thanks to sweet Suzana . It contains multi sized white and black particles and it looks great over any polish. On pics you can also notice the shimmer, that is not visible in the bottle. When it's dry, it looks kinda mat so I added a topcoat over this combo.

L'oreal-ov Confettis je najpopularniji nadlak u Hrvatskoj! Do njega sam došla zahvaljujući dragoj Suzani . Sadrži crne i bijele čestice različitih veličina i super će izgledati preko bilo kojeg laka. Na fotkama možete vidjeti i sitni shimmer, kojeg u bočici nisam primjetila. Kad se osuši, djeluje pomalo mat pa sam stavila nadlak preko njega.

Hi there!

I have to show you that gorgeous green that I was wearing on my tips in gradient manicure the other day.

Moram vam pokazati prekrasnog zelembaća kojeg sam nosila na vrhovima u zadnjoj gradijent manikuri.

See, I told you it's really an awesome shade! I'm absolutely mesmerized by it . BeYu polishes don't have names but numbers (really, is that hard to came up with some name?), bottle contains 8 ml, brush is medium wide and it doesn't make you any problems while polishing... it applies just great, drying time is pretty decent too... on pics you see - as usual, two coats with no topcoat. This polish deserve 5 stars! You know what - I have stars for it! And heart too! Almost forgot, this is shade #147.

Rekla sam vam da je boja fantastična! Totalno sam opčinjena njime . BeYu lakići nemaju imena nego brojeve (stvarno, pa nije valjda takav problem smisliti kakvo ime?), u bočici je 8 ml laka, četkica je srednje širine i s njom nećete imati nikakvih problema... nanosi se super, čak je i vrijeme sušenja pristojno... na fotkama su - uobićajeno, dva sloja bez nadlaka. Ovaj lak zaslužuje 5 zvjezdica! I znate što - baš ih i imam! I srce! I skoro zaboravih, ovo je nijansa #147.

You must admit that my Gricko also deserve 5 stars and heart, he's the best . Stars and heart are made of metal, and they came from KKCenterhk online shop. I had no problems with stars, they are pretty tiny so you can put them where ever you like... but not the heart shaped studs. Heart is a bit bigger, I tried to curve it but without any success, so I put a lot of topcoat under neat to fulfill the gap. I just washed my dishes, so I guess this manicure is success after all . These studs came in a convenient plastic wrap with zipper, package as usual for KKCenterhk.

Morate priznati da i moj Gricko zaslužuje svih 5 zvjezdica i srce, duša je od muceka . Zvjezdice i srce su načinjeni od metala, stigli su sa KKCenterhk online shopa. Sa zvjezdicama nije bilo problema, sitne su pa ih možete staviti gdje god želite... ali ne i srce. Srce je veće, probala sam ga i savinuti no ne ide, pa sam stavila obilat sloj nadlaka pod njega da ispunim prazninu. Baš sam i suđe oprala pa izgleda da je manikura ipak uspjela . Zakovice su došle u zgodnim plastičnim kesicama s patentom, pakiranje uobičajeno za KKCenterhk.

From turquoise to green

In my corner of the world it's finally a bit colder, so we can all rest from those dreadful heat... and the summer is approaching . Never mind, I can always sit in the shade and paint my nails . These were painted yesterday, something simple and quick.

U mom 'kantunu' svijeta konačno je malo zahladilo, pa se možemo odmoriti od strašnih vrućina... a ljeto nam se približava . Nema veze, uvijek se mogu uvaliti u hlad i lakirati nokte . Ove sam nalakirala jučer, nešto jednostavno i brzo.

I painted my nails with Deborah pret a porter nail polish in 'turquoise fever' shade. Lovely color, waiting patiently among my untried from last summer. Later I made gradient using this polish and BeYu #147, one of the prettiest green I own. 'Turquoise fever' on its own looks like this:

Nalakirala samo nokte s Deborah pret a porter lakićem u nijansi 'turquoise fever'. Lijepa boja, čekala je strpljivo među mojim neisprobanim lakovima od prošlog ljeta. Kasnije sam dodala gradijent koristeći njega i BeYu #147, jednu od najljepših zelenih koje imam. 'Turquoise fever' sam izgleda ovako:

First two pics are taken in the sun, the last two in the shade.

As usually, I wear two coats with no topcoat. Only 4,5 ml in this bottle, medium wide brush which is very easy to use, drying time is ok, formula is nice, covers perfectly after two coats. Love the color!

I tried to do some stamping on gradient, to spice up the manicure even more... but that was fail.

Prve dvije fotke sa sunca, zadnje dvije u hladu.

Kao i obićno, nosim dva sloja laka bez nadlaka. Samo su 4,5 ml u bočici, četkica je srednje širine i laka za korištenje, vrijeme sušenja ok, formula pristojna, super pokriva nakon dva sloja. Krasna bojica!

Dodala sam i stamping, da još malo začinim manikuru... ali to je već bio promašaj.

I used Konad plate m73, but this design is too wide for my nails and it doesn't look too nice. Never mind, at least I've tried.

What do you think about subtle gradient?

Koristila sam uzorak s Konad pločice m73, ali taj je preširok za moje nokte i ne izgleda lijepo. Nema veze, bar sam probala.

These are, of course, China Glaze texture polishes . Lemon green is 'in the rough', blue is 'of coarse!' and baby pink's name is 'unrefined'. On my nails you see two coats, no topcoat, upper pics taken in the sun. Super sweet, my nails look like candies!
Ovo su naravno, China Glaze texture lakići . Limun zelena je 'in the rough', plava 'of coarse!' a baby pink se odaziva na ime 'unrefined'. Na noktima su dva sloja, bez nadlaka, a gornje fotke su sa sunca. Preslatko, nokti mi izgledaju k'o bonbončići!

I'm absolutely swept with these beauties! In the bottle you can expect standard China Glaze quality, formula is great, brush works with no problems... two coats are more than enough for brilliant coverage, drying time is superb... there's nothing wrong with these polishes! I used Essence 'peel off' as base coat, and no top coat at all. Hope that won't affect the durability of these beauties. I'll just sit with my cappuccino and stare at my nails .

Totalno sam pometena ovim krasotama! U bočicama ćete pronaći standardnu China Glaze kvalitetu, formula je super, četkica vam sigurno neće praviti probleme... dva sloja su više no dovoljna za savršenu prekrivenost nokta, vrijeme sušenja je vrhunsko... stvarno im ne vidim mane! Za podlogu sam iskoristila Essence 'peel off' bazu, i nisam stavila nadlak. Nadam se da to neće utjecati na trajnost ovih ljepotana. Odoh sjesti uz cappuccino i buljiti u nokte .

It's been really really long since I did post like this, so let me show you some of the things that I finished lately.
Već dugo nisam napravila ovakav post, pa rekoh, hajde da vam pokažem neke od stvarčica kojih sam se skoro riješila.

These are definitely my favorite base and topcoat, I'm sure you all heard a lot of Eveline 8in 1 nail treatment. I use it as a base regularly, and it really saved my nails. They do break sometimes, but no splitting tips anymore thanks to this baby.

Essence 'better than gel nails' topcoat is the topcoat for me, it dries super fast, and it shines like crazy. Yes, I'm buying these two over and over again .

That pink polish used to be white, it's been used for some frankening, now the bottle is empty, some Chinese brand I think.

Ovo su definitivno moja najdraža baza i nadlak. Sigurna sam da ste već sve čuli o Eveline 8u1 tretmanu za nokte. Koristim ga redovito, kao bazu, i stvarno je spas za moje nokte. Još uvijek mi se zna desiti lom ali zahvaljujući ovom čudu nema više razlistanih noktiju za mene.

Essence 'better than gel nails' nadlak je za mene onaj pravi, suši se super brzo a sjaji kao blesav. O da, ova dva kupujem iznova i iznova .

Rozi lakić je nekad bio bijel, pa sam ga koristila za fankene, sad je bočica prazna, a radi se o nekom kineskom brandu.

Some of nail polish removers I've tried... Corona is acetone free, you can find it in every supermarket, it's cheep and effective.

Cien is also acetone free remover, I bought that one only because of pump which broke the second time I pressed it . Luckily, there's ebay where you can found any bottles you like . Will not buy it again, never again.

Neki od odstranjivača laka koje sam koristila... Corona je bez acetona, možete je pronaći u svakom supermarketu, jeftina je i učinkovita.

Cien je također odstranjivač bez acetona, kojeg sam kupila isključivo radi pumpice a ta se pokvarila drugi put kad sam ga koristila . Srećom, tu je ebay na kojem možete pronaći svaku bočicu koja vam treba . Ovog definitivno više ne kupujem.

The first file, the grey one, is from Essence 'better than gel nails' collection and it's really great product. Darker side is more rough, it's for filing your nails and the lighter side is for buffing, both sides do their job just great, love it. It can last really long time.

Essence nail care pencil is great for your purse, if you have dry skin and even drier cuticles you're going to need this baby every time you go outside.

Nail polish remover pen is great when you need to clean your cuticles, I used to use it very often, now I do it with brush, but for beginners this is great product.

The last file is also Essence product, it has 3 surfaces, you can use it for filing and buffing, unfortunately this one didn't last too long.

Prva turpija, siva, je iz Essence 'better than gel nails' kolekcije i stvarno je super proizvod. Tamnija strana je grublja, koristi se za turpijanje a svjetlija strana će vam ispolirati nokte, obje strane rade zbijla dobar posao, volim ovu turpiju. I trajala mi je dosta dugo.

Essence nail care olovka je super za svaku torbicu, ako imate suhu kožu i još sušlje zanoktice ova je stvarčica obavezno s vama svaki put kad idete van.

Odstranjivač laka u olovci je super pomoć kad zapackate zanoktice, koristila sam je prilično često iako već dulje vrijeme to radim s kistom, ali za početnike krasna stvar.

I posljednja turpija na slici je iz Essence asortimana, ima 3 različite površine kojima turpijate i polirate nokte, na žalost, baš se i nije iskazala i vrlo kratko sam je koristila.

In my purse you can always found at least one hand cream. Olea is Croatian product, it contains olive oil but for my dry skin it's just not good enough.

Balea Urea handcreme is great, it does its work pretty good, but as I said, I have a really really dry hands so I need something extra with it.

Castor oil is one of the products I just adore. I've tried variety of oils, but this one suits me best. I rub it on my cuticles more times daily, after using remover it's mandatory. This really helps! Yes, I'm buying this regularly now.

U mojoj torbici uvije je barem jedna krema za ruke. Olea je hrvatski proizvod, sadrži maslinovo ulje ali za moju kožu nije dovoljno dobra.

Balea Urea krema za ruke je već bolja, dobro odradi svoj posao, ali kao što sam rekla, moje su ruke izuzetno suhe i treba mi nešto čak i jače.

Ricinusovo ulje je proizvod kojeg obožavam! Probala sam više vrsta ulja, ali ovo mi najviše odgovara. Više puta dnevno ga utrljam na zanoktice i nokte, a nakon rada s odstranjivačem laka obavezno. I stvarno mi pomaže! O da, kupujuem ga redovito.

Essence has become my favorite brand when it's comes to make-up. The liquid foundation suits my skin very well, the coverage is medium, it can last some 6 hours on my skin with no problems, and it doesn't dry my face more than it already is.

Essence mattifying compact powder I use to fix liquid foundation. These two products have deserved regular place in my collection.

I kad se radi o make-upu, Essence mi je omiljeni brand. Tekuća podloga taman odgovara mojoj koži, pokrivenost mu je srednja, a baz problema na mojoj koži ostane barem 6 sati, i što je najvažnije - ne isušuje mi lice kao neke druge podloge.

Essence matirajući kompaktni puder koristim za popravak i matiranje tekućeg. Ova dva proizvoda su zaslužila stalno mjesto u mojoj kolekciji.

I always clean my face with milk and tonic. Balea ultra sensitive cleaning milk is great, because it's really great for sensitive skin but it doesn't clean heavy make-up that great.

On the other hand, Kozmo refreshing toner is natural product with lavender and marigold. It has intense smell, I bought it to my mother but she gave it back, she just couldn't take the smell which doesn't bother me at all. After using it I really can feel my skin is refreshed and I love it. I already have the third bottle of it.

Lice uvijek čistim mlijekom i tonikom. Balea ultra sensitiv mlijeko za čišćenje je super, jako je blag i nikad mi nije izazvao nikakvu reakciju ali malo teži make up će teže i očistiti.

S druge strane, Kozmo osvježavajući tonik je prirodan proizvod s lavandom i nevenom. Ima intezivan miris, kupila sam ga i mami koja ga je vratila jer jednostavno nije mogla podnijeti miris, a meni uopće ne smeta. Nakon korištenja doslovno osjećam kako mi se koža osvježava, super je. Već sam na trećoj bočici.

Eveline goat's milk and vanilla body lotion I bought by chance. I'm not crazy about the smell of it, but it does its work pretty decent. My skin is soft even next morning. I love the transparent package, it's really handy. If you have medium dry skin this will work for you when it's not that cold. For winter days you'll need something richer, like me too.

Panten Color Therapy '3 minutes damage rescue treatment' is great! I dye my hair regularly for years, and this helps me protect it. After using is hair is super shiny and soft, and the smell is great! I'll probably buy it again.

Eveline body losion s kozjim mlijekom i vanilijom sam sasvim slučajno kupila. Nisam baš luda za mirisom ali svoj posao odradi prilično dobro. Moja koža je mekana i jutro posalije. Ova prozirna ambalaža je baš praktična, sviđa mi se. Ako imate umjereno suhu kožu i nije prehladno ovaj će vam losion pomoći. Za hladnije dane ipak ćete trebati nešto bogatije, baš kao i ja.

Pantene Color Therapy '3-o minutni tretman za spašavanje' je super! Kosu bojam redovito već godinama, a ovo čudo mi pomaže sačuvati je. Nakon korištenja kosa je prekrasno sjajna i mekana, a miris je fantastičan! Vjerojatno kupujem ponovno.

It's not enough just to be clean, I also love to smell nice. Spirit of crazy love is heavier smell than I like it, but in winter time it can serve. I won't be buying this one again.

Christina Aguilera by Night is a different story. It's not that bad, but not entirely my type of perfume. I like them light, with citrus scent, this one is definitely not in that group. But... it can pass.

Cien anti-perspirant is a brand new revelation for me. I bought it by chance, desperately seeking for this kind of product that won't do me any harm. I've mentioned before that my arm-pits can have a really bad reaction to majority of these products, so I was using only Nivea dry roll-on for years. But this baby smells even better, it has lemon scent which is really my favorite, had no alcohol... my body loves it! And it surely prevent any bad smells. I'm trying to switch to natural deodorants but my skin doesn't love them, so I'll stick to this baby while I'm looking for something without aluminium chloro hydrate. Definitely buying it again!

Nije mi dovoljno samo biti čista, volim i lijepo mirisati. Spirit of crazy love je teži miris no što ih ja volim, ali zimi može poslužiti. Nemam ga namjeru kupiti ponovno.

Christina Aguilera by Night je već druga priča. Nije tako loša, iako ne posve moj tip mirisa. Ja ih volim lagane, s citrusnim mirisom, a ovaj sigurno nije u toj grupi. Ali... može proći.

Već sam spomenula da mi pazusi znaju gadno reagirati na većinu dezodoransa pa sam godinama koristila isključivo Nivea dry roll-on. Ali ovaj malac miriše još bolje, miriše na limun kojeg obožavam, nema alkohola... moja ga koža obožava! I djelotvorno sprečava loše mirise. Pokušavam se prebaciti na prirodni dezodorans no moja koža baš i nije oduševljena i dok ne nađem nešto bez aluminium chloro hydrate držat ću se ovog dezića.

Yabaolian lip balm came to me by chance, I was out and without lip balm in my purse, so I took it. It smells nice, like apples, but once you put it on your lips you'll have sensation like you just eat a candle wax, disgusting .

Ovi proizvodi idu ravno u koš za otpatke! S-he odstranjivač zanoktica u olovci za mene ne radi apsolutno ništa, nemam pojma ni zašto sam ga kupila.

Yabaolian lip balm je kupljen slučajno, bila sam vani i bez balzama u torbi pa sam ga uzela. Zgodno miriše, na jabuke, ali kad ga stavite na usne imate osjećaj da ste zagrizli u voštanu svijeću, odvratno .

Hi there!

First thing that cross my mind when someone mention make-up are lips, red lips to be specific. The only way I could wear red lipstick is on my nails.
Prva stvar koja mi padne na pamet kad netko spomene make up su usne, crvene usne da budem određena. Jedini način na koji bih ja nosila crvene usne je na noktima.

But honestly, biggest inspiration for this nail art was my cell phone . I used silver polish as a base color, then draw some zebra stripes with black acrylic paint. At the end I draw, or at least I tried to draw some red lips, ready to be kissed. I finished up with topcoat.

Silver polish is Avon 'silver foil' from 'mirror shine' line. He came to me by courtesy of dear Suzana and I use this opportunity to thank her one more time . 'Silver foil' on its own:

Iskreno, najveća inspiracija za ovu manikuru je bila maska mog mobitela . Za bazu sam uzela srebrnu boju, pa iscrtala zebrine prugice s crnom akrilnom bojom. Na kraju sam nacrtala, ili barem pokušala nacrtati, crvene usne spremne za ljubljenje. Završila, naravno, s nadlakom.

Srebrni lak je Avonov 'silver foil' iz 'mirror shine' linije. Do mene je stigao ljubaznošću drage Suzane pa koristim i ovu priliku da joj zahvalim . 'Silver foil' sam ovako izgleda:

The bottle holds 8 ml of polish, the brush is medium size and I didn't had any problems using it. On photos you see two coats without topcoat, first two are taken in the sun, last two in the shade. It has soft touch finish, not shiny and not matte all the way. As for drying time... I'm speechless, this polish literally dries while you polishing! And silver color suits me perfectly . Only my Gricko is not so thrilled by its smell, he doesn't like any of my polishes. But I feed him and he sleeps in my bed for free, so he doesn't have no vote on this subject.

Bočica sadrži 8 ml laka, četkica je srednje veličine i nije mi stvarala nikakve probleme. Na fotkama su dva sloja bez nadlaka, prve dvije pofotkane na suncu, zadnje dvije u hladu. Finish bih opisala kao soft touch ili semi-mat, lak suh nije ni sjajan ali ni sasvim mat. A što se tiče vremena sušenja... ostala sam bez teksta, lak se doslovno suši dok povlačite kist! I da znate, srebrna boja mi savršeno stoji . Samo moj Gricko baš i nije oduševljenom mirisom laka, njemu se ne sviđa ni jedan moj lak. Ali dok god ga hranim i puštam da bez naknade spava u mom krevetu nema pravo glasa o ovoj temi.

Idemo sad pogledati što su druge cure napravile!

My nails haven't grow over night, unfortunately, these photos are made some month ago. Anyway, can you see how awesome this polish is!? It's purplish glittery awesomeness, shinny even without a topcoat, it didn't leave any bad memories so I guess the drying time was ok too. The bottle holds 12 ml of polish, the brush looks exactly like the one from China Glaze polishes. Estetic by Ingrid Cosmetics is Polish brand, I'm not sure if you can get it in Croatia, I got it from Serbia... once again, the question is why there's so many good and cheep brands that we don't import?? I'll leave you with it, my book is awaiting for me. Sleep well and have sweet dreams .

Nokti mi nisu izrasli preko noći, na žalost, ove su fotke snimljene pred nekih mjesec dana. Nego, vidite li kako je dobar ovaj lak!? Radi se o ljubičastoj glitter krasoti, sjajnoj čak i bez nadlaka, nije mi ostavila nikakve ružne uspomene pa mislim da je i vrijeme sušenja bilo ok. U bočici je 12 mla laka, a četkica je istovjetna onoj kod China Glaze lakova. Estetic by Ingrid Cosmetics je poljski brand, nisam sigurna može li se igdje u Hrvatskoj naći, kod mene je stigao iz Srbije... još jednom, pitam se pitam, zašto je tako puno dobrih i jeftinih brandova koje mi ne uvozimo?? Reto 2013 - Inspired by Cartoons

Just in time to end up this week with manicure for this round of challenge with theme - cartoons. I had to do something super simple, because my left hand is still not in photo shape, so the nail art must be on my right hand. At the end I wasn't so pleased with what I've done so I'll show you my left hand, you'll have to excuse me for uneven nails. Anyway, the older among you will remember this cartoon. Here is my version of 'La linea'.

Taman na vrijeme da ovaj vikend zaključim s ovotjednom temom izazova a ta je - crtići. Morala sam napraviti nešto super jednostavno, jer mi lijeva ruka još nije u formi za fotkaje, pa je nail art trebao biti na desnoj. Na kraju uopće nisam bila zadovoljna s onim što sam napravila pa ću vam ipak pokazati lijevu ruku, a vi ćete morati zanemariti neravne nokte. Nego, starije među vama će se sigurno sjetiti ovog crtića. Evo moje verzije 'La linea'.

Gorgeous blue polish in background is Catrice 'It's All I Can Blue', perfect blue color, not too light and not too dark.
Ova prekrasna plava u pozadini je Catrice 'It's All I Can Blue', savršena plava nijansa, ni presvije- tla, ni pretamna.

On pics are two coats, no topcoat. I just love the brush from Catrice's polishes, it's wide and rounded and it's really easy to work with it. Formula is great, the polish looks pretty glossy even without the topcoat, and drying time of this shade is really superb. I noticed on some photos that polish looks uneven, like it has bold spots... but in reality I really can't see it, I don't know, maybe that's just a game of light.

What can I tell, hope I'll have more luck with next week's theme.

Na fotkama su dva sloja, bez nadlaka. Obožavam četkicu iz Catrice lakova, široka je i zaobljena i baš je jednostavno raditi s njom. Formula je super, lak izgleda sjajno i bez nadlaka, a vrijeme sušenja ove nijanse je vrhunsko. Na nekim fotkama sam primjetila da lak izgleda neujednačeno, kao da na mjestima nedostaje boje... u stvarnosti to stvarno ne vidim, ne znam, možda je samo riječ o igri svjetla.

Što da kažem, nadam se da ću s temom idućeg tjedna imati više sreće.

It's really shame how I'm so behind my scheduler . The only good news is that I just realized that I'm not on any scheduler .
This is one really old polish, I have it for some time but as I already said... you know what I mean.
Svarno je sramota kako kasnim za rasporedom . Dobra vijest je da sam upravo skužila da baš i nisam na rasporedu .
Ovaj lakić imam već dugo, ali kao što sam već rekla... ma znate što mislim.

This is essence 'ticket to the show' nail polish from their colour3 line, that is already out of range. On pics you see two coats with no topcoat. The base color is black and it's full of multicolored and super tiny glitters. Formula is ok, brush is narrow comparing with the other essence brushes, drying time decent too... pretty cool polish if you ask me. Now, on the other side of these polishes is another polish, usually glitter for adding some spice to your manicure, in this case it's dark golden glitter called 'front row or backstage?'. I added one coat over nails on ring finger and pointer.
Ovo je essence 'ticket to the show' lak iz njihove colour3 linije, koja je već van prodaje. Na fotkama ga vidite u dva sloja, bez nadlaka. Osnovna boja je crna i puna je raznobojog i prilično sitnog glittera. Formula je ok, četkica je uža nego u drugim essence lakovima, vijeme sušenja pristojno... ma super lak ako mene pitate. E sad, s druge strane ovih lakova je još jedan, obićno glitter kao začin vašoj manikuri, u ovom slučaju to je tamni zlatni glitter nazvan 'front row or backstage?'. Dodala sam jedan sloj na prstenjaku i kažiprstu.

This way polish looks more brownish but like I said, the base color is still black. I can't be objective here, I love polishes, love black color, so this polish is great anyhow - with or without the additional glitters . These double bottles look interesting, but honestly, they are not so practical, especially when you have to storage it.

What do you think about it?

Ovako lak izgleda nekako smećkast ali kao što rekoh, osnovna boja je crna. Teško mi je biti objektivna, znate da ludo volim lakove, volim crnu boju pa mi je ovaj lak krasan u obje verzije - sa ili bez dodatnog glittera . Ove duple bočice izgledaju interesantno, ali iskreno, baš i nisu praktične, naročito kad ih trebate negdje spremiti.

The formula of this polish is great! The brush is wide and it's very easy to work with it, the polish just glides on your nails and coverage is perfect after two coats. Drying time is pretty good too.

Formula je predobra! Četkica je široka i lako je raditi s njom, a lak samo klizi preko noktiju i savršeno ih pokriva nakon dva sloja. Čak je i vrijeme sušenja prilično dobro.

Formula of blue polish is a bit thinner than the one in color lilac, so you'll need three coats for perfect coverage. Again, wide brush does all the work, drying time great.

Both polishes are really shinny even without topcoat, but after taking the photos, I always put the topcoat on. I can say that the durability is pretty good, I'm wearing the blue for two days and I could take these photos today, the polish looks perfect. Although I choose these polishes because of their cute bottles, the quality of them is a great surprise! As for colors, I'm absolutely in love with this blue, it looks like perfect summer color! Ok, I love the lilac too... but the blue one just took my heart .

Što se tiče samih boja, apsolutno sam zaljubljena u ovu plavu, izgleda savršeno za ljeto! Ok, sviđa mi se i lila isto... ali plavac je osvojio moje srce .

Does this manicure reminds you of textured nails? Wanna have effect like this without buying expensive polishes? Then let me tell you how, but hush, don't tell anyone .

First you apply the usual two coats of polish, in this case it was color lilac. When it's dried, apply one coat of any color, I used blue. Then press it with sponge, as simple as that. Some of wet polish will stay on your sponge, but some of it will stay on your nail creating the rough texture. If you want the stronger effect, apply one more coat of base color and press it with sponge. You can see that it's not just one color on nails, but you can't distinguish one from the other... and the texture will stay that way if you don't put topcoat on top. How does this sounds to you, will you try it?

I love to start my day with yogurt and müsli, Pikachu makes me company sometimes.

I didn't like the way my new mobile phone looks (the old faithful Nokia died ) so I decided to put some dressing on it... it looks so much better now .

Inspired by my own imagination? Really? But I feel such a lack of inspiration and imagination lately . It seems I should begin with black color. Done... but what now? I start do draw polishes from my stash... and this is what I've done with it.
Inspirirani vlastitom maštom? Stvarno? Ali kod mene vlada totalni nedostatak inspiracije i imaginacije u posljednje vrijeme . Shodno tome, čini se najbolje započeti s crnom bojom. Sređeno... ali što sad? Počela sam izvlačiti lakove iz ladice... evo i što sam napravila s njima.

It was already dark outside and this is the only photo that looks like something... At the end this manicure looks even better then I expected. It's pretty simple, neon waves and dots on black background., but I like it. Guess my imagination is boring these days . What about yours?

Chic reloaded

You didn't think I forgot you!? I haven't, I was just otherwise engaged. But, now I'm here .

Before I broke some of my nails I manage to do some swatches, this is one of them.

Niste valjda mislile da sam vas zaboravila!? Ma nisam, samo sam bila zauzeta nekim drugim stvarima. Ali, sad sam opet tu .

Prije no što sam slomila pokoji noktić, uspjela sam (za divno čudo) odraditi i par swatcheva. Evo jednog od njih.

This beauty is essence 'chic reloaded'. Formula is great, it applies flawless, after two coats it looks perfect, it's very pigmented so if you're careful one coat will do, the brush is great, drying time not bad... on pics you see two coats without topcoat. It's duochrome polish with purple to green colors. I heard that this is dupe of 'where's the party?' but let me reassure you.

Ovaj ljepotan je essenceov 'chic reloaded'. Formula je super, aplikacija bez mane, nakon dva sloja izgleda savršeno, baš je pigmentiran i ako ste pažljive mogao bi vam i jedan sloj biti dovoljan, četkica je super, sušenje isto tako... na fotkama su ipak dva sloja bez nadlaka. Radi se o duchrome laku s ljubičasto-zelenim spektrom boja. Čula sam da bi mogao biti duplić 'where's the party' ali baš i nije.

On these pics you see 'chic reloaded' on middle finger and pinkie, and 'where's the party' on pointer and ring finger. 'Chic reloaded' has much better formula, 'where's the party''s first coat is almost transparent but after the second coat it looks ok... but the duochrome effect is more visible on 'where's the party'. I must say that catching the duochrome effect is really nightmare, but in real life it's quite visible, even on 'chic reloaded' which you can't see on pics at all. These are definitely not dupes... if you're purple lover you can have them both. If you want better formula, go for 'chic reloaded', if you want the duochrome effect to be really noticeable, find yourself 'where's the party'.

Na gornjim fotkama vidite 'chic reloaded' na srednjem i malom prstu, a 'where's the party' na kažiprstu i prstenjaku. 'Chic reloaded' ima bolju formulu, 'where's the party'jev prvi sloj je skoro proziran ali nakon drugog djeluje puno bolje... no duochrome efekt je uočljiviji na 'where's the party'. Moram se potužiti da je hvatanje duochrome efekta zbilja noćna mora, iako je uživo baš vidljiv, čak i na 'chic reloaded' koji se na fotkama jedva vidi. Definitivno nisu duplići... ali ako ste ljubitelj ljubičastih tonova slobodno uzmite oba. Ako mislite da je formula važnija, uzmite 'chic reloaded' a ako vam je bitnije da se duochrome efekt bolje vidi, nađite si bočicu 'where's the party'.

Reto 2013 - Inspired by Water

My last manicure was too sweet, so I didn't want to remove it . But it's time for new one.
Zadnja mi je manikura bila preslatka pa mi se nije dalo mijenjati ju . Ali vrijeme je za novu.

This is my water manicure. I thought about it from monday... all I could think is to be under water, swimm, dive, make bubbles and let my soul feast from all that blue around me, feeling nothing but peace, feel like one of the nature's creature. Oh boy, I wish I was in the sea now .
I started with two coats of China Glaze 2nite, than did some sponging with Essence 'choose me!', baby blue franken, China Glaze aquadelic and Flormar Graffiti #01. At the end I stamped bubble design from KKcenterhk.com image plate B20. The only thing left is to clean cuticles and put topcoat. By the time I finished, there was already dark outside, so we're all stuck with the pics of manicure under artificial light. Really guys, it looks so much better live.
By the way, today we have a sunny day, after... it's raining here, it seems like century already . So, your favorite nail polish addict finally spent the whole day out .... and while having fun broke one or her nails ... but I still have nine of them .
Ovo bi bila moja vodena manikura. Razmišljala sam o njoj od ponedjeljka... i sve što mi je padalo na pamete je želja da budem pod vodom, ronim, plivam, pravim mjehuriće i pustim da mi se duša napuni svim tim plavetnilom oko mene, osjećajući samo mir, osjećajući se dijelom prirode. Ajme, sad bi valjalo biti pod morem .
Započela sam s dva sloja China Glaze 2nite, spužvom dodala malo Essence choose me, baby blue frankena, China Glaze aquadelic i Flormar Graffiti #01. Na kraju sam dodala i mjehuriće s KKcenterhk.com pločice B20. Jedino što je preostalo je očistiti zanoktice i dodati nadlak. Dok sam završila vani je već bio mrak, tako da smo zaglavili s fotkama pod umjetnom rasvjetom. Ali stvarno, ovo uživo izgleda puno bolje.
I samo da znate, nakon... nemam pojma koliko vremena, čini mi se da kiša pada već čitavo stoljeće imali smo sunčan dan, pa je vaša omiljena lakoholičarka čitav dan provela vani ... i zabavljajući se slomila nokat ... srećom, imam ih još 9 .

Easter Manicure

It's finally time to show you my Easter manicure.
Vrijeme je da i ja pokažem svoju uskršnju manikuru.

This was the first time I've tried to do bunny on my nails... surprisingly, it wasn't hard at all. Let me show you how this manicure was created.

I had two coats of green holo polish on my nails (more of this polish in some other post). With tiny piece of sponge and green polish I sponged the tips of my nails, trying to create a grass effect.

Ovo je prvi put da sam uopće pokušala nacrtati zecova na noktima... za divno čudo, bilo je lakše no što sam mislila. Pokazat ću vam kako je nastala ova manikura.

Na noktima sam imala dva sloja zelenog holo ljepotana (o njemu nekom drugom prilikom). S malim komadićem spužve i zelenim lakom natapkala sam vrhove noktiju, pokušavajući dočarati travu.

Since I already did these steps on my left hand, I'll show you my right hands - if I can draw with my left hand, you can surely do it with your right hand. I like to use white acrylic paint as base for nail art, but I prefer to draw with polishes. With white base, the colors will be stronger and brighter. Instead of acrylic paint you can use nail polish. Drawing eggs it's easy, just draw an oval shape. For bunny, make two round shapes, one smaller on the top of the bigger.

Kako sam ovo već napravila na lijevoj ruci, pokazat ću vama kako sam radila na desnoj - ako ja mogu crtati s lijevom rukom, možete i vi s desnom, nema izvlačenja. Volim staviti bijelu bazu ispod laka, redovito je akrilna ali mi je ipak draže crtati s lakovima. S bijelom bazom, boje su jače i uočljivije. Umjesto akrilne bojice za bijelu bazu možete iskoristiti i bijeli lak. Sigurno ćete bez problema nacrtati jaja, samo izvučete ovalne oblike. Za zeku, napravite dva kruga, manji poviše većeg (kao da crtate Snjegovića).

Next step is to add little paws and ears, paws can also be draw as oval shape, for ears - few lines with tiny brush.

Idući korak nam je dodavanje šapica i ušiju, šapice izvucite ovalnim oblikom a za uške je dovoljno par poteza sitnijim kistom.

If you have a really tiny brush (you can use the one from tip liner, those brushes are great), it's not a bad idea to draw black line around bunny shape, I added round black tail, it's more visible that way. Near that black line you can add some grey, that way the bunny will look more three-dimensional.

Ako imate tanji kist (slobodno se koristite onim iz tip liner-a, te su mi četkice super), nije loša ideja da zekonju obrubite crnom, ja sam dodala i crni repić, jednostavnije je i brže. Uz rub crne može se dodati i malo sive, tako zekonja djeluje trodimenzionalnije.

As for eggs, just follow your imagination - color them with any color you like, then decorate them with dotting tools and brushes.

Kad su jajca u pitanju, slijedite svoju maštu (one koje se sad smijulje sigurno imaju pokvarenu maštu ) - obojite ih najdražim bojama, a onda ukrasite točkalicama i tankim kistićima.

I forgot to take a pic of the last step, I added some blade of grass with green color. At the and, your desk will probably look like mine - with all those polishes on it.
Zaboravila sam poslikati zadnji korak, dodala sam i vlati trave sa zelenom bojom. Na kraju, vaš stol će sigurno izgledati poput moga - sa svim tim lakićima na njemu.

Recently I bought one of Essence's new polishes - 'upper green side', I fell in love with color instantly as I saw it on the display. Of course, I had to wear it the first chance I had . This week's theme is 'Inspired by Colors', since is spring (somewhere at least) I decided for this spring color with colors of the rainbow on it. Here it is!
Nedavno sam kupila Essenceov novi lakić - 'upper green side', zaljubila sam se u njega čim sam ga vidjela na polici. Naravno, morala sam ga nositi prvom prilikom . Ovotjedna tema izazova je 'inspirirani bojama', a kako je proljeće (barem negdje) odlučila sam se za ovu proljetnu bojicu i dodala joj još i dugine boje. Evo i manikure!

Not so creative but cute, in my humble opinion. Maybe you'll disagree, but I can't help it there.
About Essence 'upper green side'...
Nisam bila baš nešto posebno kreativna, ali manikura mi je ipak slatka. Možda se nećete složiti, ali tu pomoći ne mogu. A što se tiče Essence 'upper green side' lakića...

First two pics taken in the sun (but it's gloomy day outside), the last two in the shade. This is pastel green polish with almost invisible blue shimmer. Formula is great, one coat enough, but I did two, it looks better in pictures, no topcoat here. Love the wide brush, drying time is surprisingly good... this baby is already among my favorite colors for this spring . Which colors would you wear?

Prve dvije fotke sa sunca, odnosno punog svjetla jer je vani oblačno, posljednje dvije iz sjene. Ovo je pastelno zelena bojica sa jedva vidljivim plavim shimmerom. Formula je super, jedan sloj dovoljan, ali tu su dva jer bolje izgledaju na fotkama, bez nadlaka. Volim ovu široku četkicu, čak je i vrijeme sušenja iznenađujuće dobro... ova bebica je već uletjela u moje favorite za ovo proljeće . Kakve ćete vi boje nositi?

Purple Day

Today is 'Purple Day', day in support of epilepsy awareness. I'm glad that Croatia is a part of it too.

Danas je 'Ljubičasti dan', dan podrške osobama s epilepsijom. Drago mi je da ga i mi u Hrvatskoj obilježavamo. Moj skroman obol je ova manikura.

I stamped with Konad plate m64 using Catrice 'How I Matt Your Mother' over March Sweet Candy #5. 'How I Matt Your Mother' has soft touch finish, almost matte, that gave me the idea to use the matte topcoat over the manicure.

This manicure goes for my little angel, my beloved friend Luka. Luka is 12 and half years old, he was hit by the van some three years ago... he suffered very bad brain trauma and as result of it, now he's struggling with epilepsy seizures every single day. My heart is breaking for not be able to help him. But, hope is still here, hoping he'll be better eventually. My prayer is with him tonight.

Koristila sam Konadovu stamping pločicu m64 i Catrice 'How I Matt Your Mother' preko March Sweet Candy #5 laka. 'How I Matt Your Mother' ima soft touch, skoro pa mat finiš, što mi je dalo ideju da čitavu manikuru matiram.

Manikuru posvećujem svom malom anđelu, dragom prijatelju Luki. Luka ima 12 ipol godina, pred neke tri godine udario ga je kombi... pretrpio je teške ozljede mozga koje su rezultirale svakodnevnom borbom s epileptičkim napadima. Srce mi se slama jer mu ne mogu pomoći. Ali, nada je još uvijek tu, nadam se da će jednom ipak biti bolje. Moje molitve su i večeras s njim.
