Bobbie Holoprism Part 2

Hey hey!

Today's post will feature the second part of the Bobbie Holoprism Collection, aka, the (relatively) strong holos.

Let's start with Mint Daquiri.

Mint Daquiri is a warm yellow gold with scattered holo. On the bottle, I didn't like it that much (I almost decided against buying it), but when I put it on... oh dear. Really pretty. I used three thin coats.

Purple Passion.

Now this is the biggest surprise of all. I didn't realize that it would show off the holo that well!.Three coats.

Mudslide.

Mudslide. I call this the work-appropriate holo. One of my favorites from this collection. So much so that I've worn this three times!

Mojito.

My second favorite from the collection, Mojito is a red-toned purple with scattered holo. Two coats will do you just fine, but I used three for this swatch.

And now, what I consider the crowning jewel of this collection, Weng Weng.

Oh dear, this is sooo awesome. A holo and a duochrome. See that purple flash? *Squeeee*

Hmm, I better get the salon-size bottle of Weng Weng. I've worn this for several times already, and I'm afraid I might run out of it!

I'm really happy with this collection. Though a some are a bit thick, it didn't pose any major problems. I'm liking this scattered holo effect that they have. It's not the in-your-face type of holo. Although I said Mudslide is the work-appropriate holo, I think that some of the softer colors (and with their scattered holo effect) can work in a conservative work environment as well.

Bobbie Holoprism Part 1

Flake polish may be the hottest thing right now, but last year holos lorded it over. I'm not really the type who follows every nail trend out there, and holos are especially dear to my heart. One, because it gives a rather boring-looking polish a whole new dimension with a scattered rainbow effect. Two, because it changes characters depending on the way the light hits it. And three, because Bobbie did a whole new line of holographic nail polish; something that I consider one of their more daring moves when it comes to polish finishes.

The Bobbie Holo-prism Collection is made up of eight holographic polishes named after cocktails. I've had these for months, and it was only a few weeks ago that I finally got around to swatching them.

I've decided to divide the collection into two parts, the first part the ones with a relatively subtle holo effect.

Let's start with Vodka on Ice.

Vodka on Ice is a light silver-grey with a very, very subtle scattered holo effect that you can hardly see on the nail. Shown here is two coats.

Vodka on Ice has that cool-toned quality to it. I've worn it once, and my friend commented that this is something that this lady would wear.

Pina Colada.

Pina Colada medium-toned yellow with a slight pearlized finish+silver shimmer and almost no holo effect. As with yellows, this one's a bit streaky.

Margarita.

Margarita is pink with a tiny bit of scattered holo effect. It has a bit of a dusty quality to it, kind of like Brink Pink.

The formula one these was thick, except for Margarita. I used two medium coats for Vodka on Ice and Pina Colada, while I used three for Margarita since it's a bit sheer (and a bit thinner than the two). I was a little disappointed, especially with Vodka on Ice because I had high hopes that it would show off more of its holo effect, something like Glitter Gal Light as a Feather. However, the second part, which I will show you (hopefully) tomorrow more than made up for the lack of holo.

...here are some of the polishes I bought over the holidays:

China Glaze Atlantis. Teal jelly with holographic glitter. I love teal, I love jelly, I love glitter. I used three coats.

I've wanted this for a very long time. But then I always pass this up for other polishes (hello, Lubu Heels. hello, Warm & Fozzie and Rainbow Connection) whenever I buy, knowing that this isn't LE. I realized I was being unfair to myself by not getting something that I really wanted, and that I was taking it for granted, looking the other way whenever I see this on the shelf.

Welcome home, baby. :)

China Glaze Some Like It Haute from the Eye Candy Collection. The 2011 holiday collections have given us TONS of glitters and flakies. China Glaze's had a Marilyn Monroe theme in them. Out of all the glitter polishes in this collection, this one I liked the best.

Looks like a pigmented cousin of Snow Globe, no? We've seen a lot of these silver-y gunmetal shades last year. What made this one stand out are those lovely hex glitters. Three coats for opacity.

Revlon Royal.

Seriously, Revlon distributors, what took you so long?!

I've been stalking Revlon counters for a while now, hoping that one day I'd get to see Royal and those amazing Revlon glitters that everyone is raving about. The ladies at the counter weren't much help. They know more about the makeup than the polishes (boo). So when I spotted this some time after Christmas, I quickly made a beeline to the cashier, hehe. And then the ladies gave me a confused look when I asked, "When are the glitters arriving?" Tsk. But I digress. Revlon Royal. A true Royal Blue jelly. Yumyum. Three coats.

Sorry for this blurry shot, but I had to show you the depth of this color. So lovely.

I have a few more polishes given by friends that I will feature next. I do hope I'd see you back here! ;)

A Belated Ushering in of the New Year

No, you're not seeing things.

Yes, I'm still alive, and I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things.

But before I get carried away, I just wanna apologize and thank all of you who have not left me when it was all so quiet around here. I guess I owe you guys an explanation.

The last quarter of the year proved to be the busiest for me, not only because of the holidays, but also because I started on my new job around that time (I think I have mentioned this in my previous post before I dropped off the face of the earth). It's taking me a while to get my groove back (until now I haven't finalized proper scheduling for swatching and writing), but you know, getting there.

Taking a blogging break did not mean taking a break from nail polish though. In fact I have a lot of untrieds, waiting for their chance in the limelight, some of them released during the holidays. So please bear with me as I catch up with my swatching.

For now, I will showcase a spam of some of the goodies I got over the holidays. Some are gifts from friends, some I gifted myself, hehe (but that's for later posting).

China Glaze Snow Globe over black.

Le sigh. Sooo pretty.

Snow Globe had a vital role in my NYE mani:

Crappy instagram shots, I know. But no amount of crappy lighting can take away the beauty that is Snow Globe. For this mani, I layered it over Cutex All Night Long, a medium gray with amazing blue shimmer (swatch coming soon).

Color Club Wild and Willing and China Glaze Snow Globe were gifts from a colleague. Well, actually he kind of acted as the middleman. But anyways, thank youuuuuu Jeff (and cousin!)

Aaaaand, Orly Ma Cherie!

Ahhh, ma cherie, ma cherie. I used to think I'm so over reds. And then you came along. And now I've worn you twice already. Such a thing of beauty. Since it has a jelly+creme formula=3 coats. But I didn't mind *squishes* I really loved how easily it applied. I hardly had to do any cleanup!

Sprint Asia ladies (Donna and Denisse), thank you for picking this one for me. You guys are the best! Oh, and hi Aimee!

And no, that is not it! I still have some swatches for posting (ehem, ehem), BUT I'll let your eyes rest for now. Crappy angles and all, I know, I know. And I apologize. The blogging break has made me feel like I'm starting all over again.

But I am oh-so-happy to be back.

The Face Shop (FACE it) BL602

Now that I have access to Blogger any time of the day, I think I might have better chances of posting regularly.

But alas, I am running low on reserve swatches.

So for now let me show you one of the last swatches I have in my vault. The Face Shop BL602 (I think there are two other BL602s in TFS. Crazy!).

I chanced upon this one day I was browsing some TFS products. I was really impressed with the color. It looked like a metallic blue with some duochrome action going on. I immediately included this in my to-buy list. Wasn’t able to getting around to buying it until a couple of weeks later, when I dropped by TFS in Glorietta. But as with my love-hate relationship with the FACE it line, I was kind of disappointed with this one. It has that frosty/metallic finish—brush stroke territory. For this one, I can’t remember if I used two or three coats. I’m guessing two.

It has a thick-ish formula but application was OK. The purple actually showed more in the photos than its cobalt blue pigment. It's like it glows purple. Sooo hard to capture.

I was surprised though that it has some green to it, which I didn’t see in the bottle.

Dinged my pinkie!

I’m really torn with this one. Sometimes I find it pretty, other times I don’t. Maybe because I think it clashes with my skintone. Whaddya think?

I hope you all enjoy your weekend. In the Philippines it's another long weekend, yay! I just hope it stops raining tomorrow. I'm going "sailing!"

OMG (Oh My Golly) Cracked Nail Polish (Limestone)

Hello all!

Just got through the four-day weekend. Didn’t get much rest though. My nieces visited us, and they went trick-or-treating. They went as a fairy, Renaissance princess, a witch, and a vampire. And I did their makeup! Here are some photos:

I tried to get into the Halloween spirit myself, but with work and other pressing matters, I had no time to do a Halloween-themed mani, except for a feeble attempt with glow-in-the-dark polish by Caress. Black polish + two coats of glow-in-the-dark by Caress only turned out to be an utter failure. Tried to check it out in the bathroom (lights out) but saw nothing. Boo.

So instead I’ll just show another of those local crackle polishes I got a couple of weeks ago. This one is called Limestone. I used to think limestone is white. But I saw one picture that looks close to the color of this polish:

So here’s one coat of Limestone over two coats of China Glaze For Audrey.

Like the pink crackle polish, it cracked beautifully. See how jagged the crackles look? I also applied it with a dabbing motion instead of painting from the base up the edge since it also has a very thin formula. It cracked slower than the crème pink one. Though it did not crack upon contact, it only took like a second or two to see the results.

Upon drying, I noticed that it has that “faded” effect mostly seen on my pinkie. I really like the overall look of this one. I ended up wearing this for three days, which rarely happens to me. Too bad I forgot to take a pic, but after three days, I noticed no chipping. It did show some signs of tip wear, which is quite different from normal tip wear. For one, the color became a shade lighter. Two, it looked like the cracks just disappeared on the tips. It didn’t chip; it was just…gone. Weird but true. I think I must do a wear test soon.

Bobbie Hot! Collection

Soooo sorry for the lack of posts. Apart from coping with a new schedule, my day is always filled with work, work, work, and by the time I get home the only thing I wanna do is sleep. :( I just feel so rotten that everytime I post I'm just apologizing and making excuses. I'm thankful that I still get new followers even though I don't have regular updates and miss replying to comments.

No matter how much I feel tired because of my new work, I am not really complaining. My new work has its perks too. Our company had seats to the Metrowear Icon: Oliver Tolentino fashion show held last Monday. It's the first ever fashion show I've been to, and I really really enjoyed it. Did a lot of star sighting and actually bumped into an old friend! But that is scheduled for another post. For now, I am going to show you some of the colors from Bobbie's Hot! Collection.

I've had these for a very long time, but never got around to swatching until last week. You've seen Orange Juice and Terracotta before, so here are the rest. I still lack two though (Bronzer and Patent Blue). I noticed that the collection is divided between jelly-ish cremes and glazed shimmer. They all have nice formulas, typical of Bobbie nail polishes. I like all the colors, but they somehow photographed lighter than they actually look IRL.

Let's start, shall we?

Lush.

Lush is a jelly-ish green creme that has more yellow tones than blue. It reminds me of hula skirts.

Salmon.

In photos, Salmon looks like a squishy and yummy bright orange. IRL, it's a bit dusty and a tad darker.

Vamp.

I really don't get why they called this vamp. It doesn't scream vamp to me. It's too bright. Doesn't mean I don't like it though.

And here's one of the glazed shimmers, Emerald.

A bit sheer, but I like the pigmentation. It's not as vibrant as China Glaze Emerald Fitzgerald, but Emerald is in a league of its own.

So there you have it. I'm still waiting for the stocks to be replenished to get the last two. I'm dying to get my hands on Patent Blue because I'm seeing a lot of blues with metallic and/or foil finish. *drools*

I really wanna wear Lush as full-on mani, but it screams summer and it has stiff competition with my new glitters and foils. hehehehe

Glitterfest with Chic Nail Design

Finally, here are the amazing glitters Ela of Chic Centre sent as part of this amazing package that I'm still working my way through:

The Chic glitter collection is called Chic Nail Design and is made up of five awesome glitter polishes.

First up is Missy Daisy. The pink glitter, magenta hexagon glitter, and flower glitters are set in a sheer pink base with a sprinkling of bar glitter. I had this layered over a nude Etude House polish. Since I'm such a dork when it comes to applying large glitters, I decided to place the glitters with a cuticle stick.

I love how the sheer pink base turned the nude base into such a pretty and delicate shade of pink.

Here's Butterfly Away. This has a sheer gray base with silver glitter and red butterflies! Layered over Caress Diamond Gay.

I love these little butterflies!!!

Just by looking at the pics, I have this urge to wear it again.

I totally, totally love this. I ♥ This! Layered over a Bobbie orange polish I'll be showing a swatch of soon. ;)

Looove the sheer orange base.

Looove the gold glitters.

And definitely LOVE the sheer red hearts! They look so squishy and yummy! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Up next are what I call the Little Twin Stars of the collection.

Wish Upon a Star.

Set in sheer blue base are chunks of blue glitter, silver holographic confetti glitters, and sheer green and gold stars. :) Here it is layered over OPI Ski Teal We Drop.

Notice how it brightened up the deep teal shade of Ski Teal We Drop.

The glitters gave it a new dimension!

My Supastah.

Whenever I say My Supastah, this comes to mind:

But My Supastah (which I keep on spelling as S-U-P-A-H-S-T-A-H), has green glitter and gold stars set in a clear base.

I tried layering it over a bunch of colors, but I liked it over black best. I used Sally Hansen Black Out.

Looove this combo!

Whenever I think I have picked a favorite, I always go back and feel confused all over again. I certainly cannot pick one. What about you? :))

Etude House PP904

Hello everyone!

I was supposed to (finally) post some awesome glitters, but I just don't have the time to write down all the descriptions and post all the photos. I've swatched them about two weeks ago and still haven't found time to post it (very bad, Trixie, very bad).

So for now we have Etude House PP904. A very complicated polish.

It's code is PP for purple. It is puple, among other things. It looks like a dusty taupe, mauve, sometimes even brown. Even the shimmer looks complicated. Sometimes it looks copper, orange, or even pink. It's still a beauty even though it was a bish to photograph! No amount of color correction can capture its real color. IRL life it is darker and more muddy-looking. The photos actually brought out the purple on this one. Formula is good, although the unforgiving humidity two nights ago made this really really thick when I brought it out again for a full mani.

Pink Wednesday: OMG (Oh My Golly) Cracked Nail Polish by Klik

Happy Hump Day everyone! I was supposed to post something last night, but I was really so tired (I didn’t realize how sleepy I was until I sat down on the sofa after dinner. In a few minutes, I was dozing) that I just decided to go to bed instead. I’m thinking I might just schedule my posts for the whole week. So that means aside from swatching, I will be typing up posts during the weekend (maybe a two or three then the rest during the week). But I don’t wanna bore you with these details, so here’s my second venture into Pink Wednesdays!

I’ve told you last week of the newly released crackle polish by the new (to me) Klik brand. They have a wide range of crackles and metallic crackles. The first one I bought was the pink crackle. Here it is layered over two coats of Caronia Stellar.

Sorry about the watermarking disaster. :(

I know, I know. Crackles have seen its heyday, but the Philippines is just catching up! One thing I noticed with these crackles is that they have a very thin formula, unlike OPI Silver Shatter, whose formula is thick to high heavens. With a very thin formula though, it is very prone to cuticle pooling, so I suggest that you take extra care with application. Notice how random the cracks are? That’s because instead of painting my nails vertically, I tried a bit of dabbing the brush to get as much polish transferred on the nails as possible (again because of the watery formula). In terms of crackling time, I must say I am very impressed. It cracks as soon as it hits the nail, so you also have to work fast. Compared to its metallic crackle cousins, it cracks faster (but they have the same quality of cracks).

China Glaze Philippines Fall Picks (Midnight Mission + Emerald Fitzgerald + Lubu Heels)

Happy(?) Monday everyone! Sorry for the erratic posting for the past two weeks. Things are a bit hectic due to some exciting changes. Today is my first day in my new job, and I'm really looking forward to it! The past two weeks were spent debating with myself if I'm up for a new challenge (or not) and ensuring a smooth transition.

I'm not really sure if I'll be able to revert to my daily posting, but I'll try as much as I can. I don't know yet how busy I will be with my new work.

So Pauline and I met a few weeks ago, and we spent a great portion of our chikahan on nail polish and dreams of making it big someday (LOL). Of course, meeting with Pauline means only one thing: nail polish. And so Pauline became Santa with these goodies:

If you remember, these are some of the polishes from China Glaze Philippines's Top 10 Fall Picks. I ordered Lubu Heels from Lacquers Lovers Philippines, and the girls were sweet enough to include the other two for review!

So here's Midnight Mission:

Midnight Mission is from last year's Vintage Vixen Fall Collection. It's a frosty deep denim blue polish with silver microglitter. So. Friggin'. Gorgeous. It is smooth, shiny, and glassy. Two coats. I love it. I know a lot of bloggers would love to get their hands on the elusive and expensive Essie Starry Starry Night, but I'm perfectly happy with my Midnight Mission.

Because of time constraints, I was only able to take pics three days after I've put it on. But see, no major chipping and only minor tipwear.

This one is also from the Vintage Vixen Collection. Emerald Fitzgerald.

Emerald Fitzgerald is Watermelon Rind's frosty fall cousin. It has that metallic shimmer that tempered the frost, thus there are no nightmarish brush strokes.

It has a tad more blue undertone to it, making it a cross between emerald and pine green. I love the intensity of the color. This was two coats.

Lubu Heels.

I don't know what it is in the black jelly + red glitters combo of Lubu Heels that made my skin so white. I was really surprised with how the pics turned out!

Lubu Heels is such a classic vampy color from China Glaze. I love it! Ever since I laid my eyes on Lubu Heels, I knew I gotta have it. So apologies for the more-than-average number of pics. This was three coats of vampy gorgeousness. It's dark yet glossy, sparkly, and well, vampy. Hehehehe.

They all have great formula and consistency. Very pigmented and applied like butter, no problems at all. So head on to Lacquers Lovers on Facebook and use the order form for your purchases. Essie Smokin' Hot

Hello everyone! No Pink Wednesday today, I got sidetracked by the new polishes I bought the other day. Yesterday, I dropped by again, and noticed a lot of ladies stopping by the aisle of local crackle polishes. The colors are reminiscent of China Glaze's crackles and metallic crackles. I bought four, one of which is a pretty pink crackle, but I did not have time to do my nails last night. It's a good thing the local market is finally catching up on the trend, albeit one season late. I'll say it again, I love crackles (it's the easiest way to update a mani), and I'm just happy that we have a wider selection now here.

I'm wearing the metallic gray crackle on my toes right now, but I don't want to scare you off with a pic of my feet, so here's Essie Smokin' Hot instead.

I got this from my dear friend Grace. She was supposed to get Zoya Kelly, which was unfortunately unavailable. Thank heavens Smokin' Hot is a good substitute. Not exactly dupes but certainly in the same league as Kelly.

Essence Tryin' To Be Cool

Happy(?) Monday everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was introspective if not boring. Hehe. Didn't do any swatching though I'm planning to do some tonight (if I get to finish cropping and watermarking my other photos). FYI, my tips and toes are miraculously naked since yesterday.

For today I will show you my one and only bottle of Essence, thanks to my dear friend Ervie, who gave it to me as pasalubong from her two-week vacay in Dubai (thank youuu). I sincerely wish someone would bring Essence here. And Catrice too! Hmmm, if I did, would you buy from me? hehehe.

This is Essence Tryin' To Be Cool, from the Multidimension XXXL Shine line, which unfortunately has been discontinued. I'd say it's a pretty bright teal for me. It's not quite as light as turquoise. In the photos it pulls bluer than it actually is. Shown here is two coats + SV.

I had a bit of panic last week, as this was supposed to be my post for Friday. I kept forgetting the name of this polish that I even asked for Jeannette's help via Twitter. She doesn't remember the name and told me that the line has been discontinued. I told myself to check the name first thing when I get home. IDK why I keep thinking that this is Let's Get This Party Started. Maybe I was thinking of Essence Let's Get Lost. Ugh.

I had a bit of an issue with its brush. It's a bit thick, and it doesn't easily fan out. It resulted in a bumpy application, but it fortunately self leveled. Oh, and blame the bubbling to a thick topcoat application. Something needs a dose of Seche Restore.

I love Essence and Catrice. They have such nice colors and are very affordable too! So who wants Essence and Catrice here in the Philippines??? :)

The Face Shop (FACE it) BK901

Today I have another polish from the FACE it line of The Face Shop. I've shown PP405 before (which turned out to be a disappointment) and GR502, one of my ultimate faves. This time, I will show BK901, which I touted "the black beauty." I got this one boring afternoon, together with another FACE it polish I'll be showing you soon.

I've never stopped thinking about Black Beauty the first time I saw it. You can just imagine the excitement I have over swatching it. But it turned out to be a dud. Just like PP405, the multichrome glitters got muddled in its black base. They are visible in the bottle but hardly on the nails. I tried all angles and different lights. You can see the glitters shift from teal to purple, and in some angles, green, but this is all that it can show. :-/

Even under direct sunlight (which usually can capture polishes most accurately) I wasn't wowed. You can still see the glitters, but only if you look really closely. You can click the pictures to zoom and see what I mean.

Incidentally, the holographic line of FACE it has another polish named BK901. Which cilucia has blogged about here. Two BK901s. In one nail polish line. It's just too much. :(

Others say it's a dupe for OPI Unripened, which I unfortunately don't have, but it does look similar to Etude House WH004. I did a comparison, but I'm not ready to show you yet. I think I have to redo it. To better show you the glitters.

Etude House and My First Pink Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today marks a milestone for Nailfiled. Today is my 100th post, and to celebrate, I've decided to do my first Pink Wednesday post because On Wednesdays We Wear Pink! Yay! Can I sit with you guys? :)

So for my first Pink Wednesday, I chose Etude House LUCIDarling Fantastic Nails Shimmering #06. Etude House describes it as a magenta. Magenta is a cross between pink and purple, but this one has stronger pink undertones with a soft purple shimmer. This is two coats with SV. Formula is very good and posed no problems with application.

Ooooh, you gotta love that shimmer!

Twinkle Orange Blossom

Hello everyone! Today's post is a bit late, as I was quite busy earlier. How's everyone? :)

For today's post I chose Twinkle Orange Blossom. Now I've been on the lookout for a good coral nail polish that would suit my skin tone. I've scoured aisles of local polishes, but apparently vampy reds are still very popular here. Orange Blossom is by no means a true coral, but I like how this polish plays with my skin. Sometimes it can go from red orange, to coral, to orange. Very different from the peach-toned Chanel Orange Blossom. It was hard to capture in pictures though. Nevertheless, it has become a "favored" polish, that I've worn it twice or thrice already. I even used it to paint my little nieces's nails; they love it too! It's not a normal fall color, but I don't care. I need a pop color against these rainy days!

Shown here is three coats. I used three because it was a bit sheer, but the formula is good. It applied easily and dried shiny. It's just too bad that Twinkle only sells 5ml bottles. I could use more Orange Blossom you guys!

AND it did not stain my cuticles, yay!

NYX Girls Purple Ink

Happy (?) Monday everyone!

I finally got my (ehem) groove back, and I just can't wait for you to see the rest of my new swatches!

For today, I will show you one of the NYX Girls polishes that I bought from Digital Traincase during the Phil-Cosmetics Expo 2011. She had them at Buy 2 Take 1, so I got Maven, Sea of Cortez; and today's feature, Purple Ink.

It's deep purple with blue shimmer. It instantly caught my eye from the acrylic rack. Such a beauty. It is pretty sheer, so I used three coats. It has a flawless formula and easy application. Dried to a high shine. Lovely.

IDK how my pinkie got dinged here. :-/

All photos were taken during a rare sunny day. Wore it to work and noticed how the office lights made it look electric! Forgot to take a pic though. I love purple, so this is hands-down a "favored" polish in my collection. ;)

Back (again) with The Face Shop GR502

Yes, I'm back after days of absence.

A strong typhoon hit us recently, and while I was stuck at home, our Internet connection got cut off. I think the base station took a beating from the strong winds. Am I glad it's all over. We're now back to regular programming. ;)

And so since today is my big (hehe) comeback, I'll show you one of my ultimate favorites. If I were to make a Top 10 or 20, this'll surely be at the top tier.

From the FACE it line of The Face Shop, this is GR502.

From afar and in the bottle, this looks like a darker and smoky version of Chanel Graphite. And on the nail and in some lights, it actually does look like it. With that subtle flash of golden foil shimmer. Laaaaaveeeet!

I think I've worn this twice already, and I can't still get enough of it! Three awesome coats of green foil goodness. That can shift from dark silver-y grey to olive green. Flawless formula. Breezy application. *sigh*

And when the light hits (in this case, direct sunlight), BAM! Dark silver-y grey/olive/gold foil. Awesome.

Back with Caress Watermelon Frost

Yes, it's true. I'm back. Apologies for being semi-MIA for the past week. I have just been feeling uninspired (and lazy). I still do my nails regularly and have swatches in store, I just didn't feel like posting, as I don't feel my pics are good enough.OK, no more excuses.

I'm still kinda stuck in that rut, but I'm slowly trying to pick up where I left off.

Here's Caress Watermelon Frost.

Watermelon Frost actually has no frost in it. It's a take on the color of the local watermelon rind,

but it looks more like dark army green with gold microglitter to me.

I used three coats on this one. The first two coats were a bit sheer. I thought it would be opaque and pigmented given its dark base, but I was wrong. And a bit disappointed. But application posed no problems. The formula has the right thickness to it.
