or 2 decades I have been an active animal advocate. Sometimes when life changed I was less active than other times for I have always spent time advocating, volunteering and rescuing animals. Often in my Summers I would travel to areas of animal different types of animal sanctuaries from exotic animals to domestic animals. 2 Saturdays ago we went and picked up 10 dogs from Broken Arrow Rescue Ranch in Christoval. Their adoption operations have moved in with us! Boarding for veterans who are being deployed or who are in need to board their dogs for some reason will remain in the Christoval location. Simi & Savitar were owner surrenders at our local kill shelter in this condition at estimated 3 yrs old. On August 25th I was told there were 2 German Shepherd pups dumped on a hwy in my local area. I couldn't just leave them out there to fend for themselves so of course I went to find them. Well, Bello now has 2 pet sitting jobs under his belt! He did very well meeting the new dogs and helping me take care of them! I am happy that Bello seems to not ever meet a dog he doesn't get along with.  There's a couple we have met that need to learn some manners but even with those Bello seems to move along.
