Hi everyone.  I am in sunny California, only it is not sunny today.  The weather is nice and cool.
Enjoying family and basically resting.
The picture above is a white blouse that I embellished to take on vacation with the new colors to match my ear rings.
I just replaced the buttons and used a blanket stitch for the embellishment around the front of the blouse.
I am really enjoying this

I found out last year that I have diabetes. A few months later I had high blood pressure.
I kept it at bay for 12 years on the advice of a doctor who told me that since I had diabetes when pregnant that I would in my latter years have diabetes. Going on the diabetic diet would increase the years of not having diabetes.

The picture of the purse I made from revamping a tote bag pattern is now below.  Turned out pretty good.

Down to the countdown to get everything done.  The problem is I find more things I want to make and the list gets bigger.  So does the mess on my sewing desk.

So today I have vowed to not add to the list and just enjoy the projects I am doing for my grand kids
