I FINALLY collected enough Frost Emblems to buy the Cat-Lady helmet!
(not easy after I quit raiding) PvP is a lot of fun atm

And I got my priestess a new RP outfit

I walk around Dalaran keep yelling that the world’s end is near and Cataclysm
will eat our souls and stuff… that’s SO much fun, everybody stops by, keeps watching
you and ask you if this is kind of an event I love RP stuffings!

Oh and my old main got the fishing pole I always wanted with Nanuki D:
That’s annoying! But at least it looks cute on her

Sorry for my boring posts and lacks of updates, when  Cataclysm hits I’m sure I can’t stop writing here and posting about the shine new stuff and exciting areas

If you are feeling better using other spells or other strategies in general, please don’t feel bothered

Lord Marrowgar

Yes, you know him all! Mister Boooonestooooorm with his spikes and flames, he’s an annoying guy for healers – buuuut we can do it

Discipline:

Tanks:
– Keep shielding them! Flash and Penance as you standards of course
– I prefer casting PoM on a tank so it’ll jump from tank to tank when they’re getting saber lashed
– If you are a disc priest who doesn’t avoid Renew also keep it up on the tanks. It’s no big heal but at least it is one, right?
Raid:
– Shield the bone spike victims and flash to top them if the other raid healers are slow
– Before Bonestorm starts try to shield as many raid members as possible and keep shielding while Marrowgar is running around. PoM is also a huge help!

Holy:

Tanks:
-Of course I’m a raid healer here but it’s NEVER wrong to help the tank healers, so: PoM the tanks when ready, keep Renew on every tank. In 25man raids I CoH the tanks if all of them aren’t topped, that’s a huge boost!
Raid:
– Renew the bone spike victims, CoH or flash if they are low
– While Marrowgar is bonestorming cast CoH on cooldown, PoM on low people, Renew the raid while CoH is on cooldown. Flash if somebody drops very low.

Special Notes:

– DON’T stand in the fire!
– If you stand IN his hitbox BEHIND this guy, you’re in a fireless safe-zone
– After Bonestorm Marrowgar has an aggro reset! So cast Fade ~2 seconds before the Bonestorm ends – oh and please NEVER stand next to the tanks so you’ll get cleaved and onehitted! This is epic fail
– If you shield and renew yourself you don’t need to run around like a chicken while he’s bonestorming. Don’t stand in fires, watch your own health and heal your raid!
– This is a general hint but if a healer dies and the entire raid is low pop Divine Hymn! This will help a lot.

Lady Deathwhisper

Discipline:

Tanks:
– Of course keep shields up like always!
– Watch the tank who’s kiting a Deformed Fanatic! (doing double damage, I’ve often seen the tank being nearly onehitted)
– PoM on cd and top them with Penance and flash as always. Ack, of course you know it!
Raid:
– Shield as much as you can, PoM into a group of people standing in death and decay when it spawns so if you’re lucky it will jump around in that area.
– Keep an eye on the ghost victims in phase 2 because people tend to forget about the ghosts and get hit – so if you see a ghost spawns, figure out to whom he’s running and shield + PoM that person – it will save his/her life!
– If you wish to, you can help with PoH in phase 2 after Lady Deathwhispers frostbold volley. In 25man raid I personally top the tank-group first and continue with the group the healers are in (if my raidleader managed to arrange them correctly!)

Holy:

Tanks:
– Renew and PoM always helps!
– CoH on a tank when the melees are standing in death and decay (or melees get accidentally cleaved)
– If you are one of the great holy priests with the body and soul talent, shield the tank who’s kiting the Deformed Fanatic! He’ll love you!
Raid:
– If a death and decay spawns PoM + CoH into the group with the debuff
– Renew victims of Miss Deathwhispers frostbolts if you have nothing to do and if the other raid healers are afk
– Like I mentioned in the disc priest section PoH the tank group first when Lady Deathwhisper casts her volley – then the healer group and if the raid isn’t topped yet, keep casting PoH in low groups or CoH
– If you have the body and soul talent feel free to shield ghost victims when they are running away from the spawns, it’s pretty helpful (if no disc priest shielded them before)

Gunship Battle

The gunship-fight is cake.
My guild always makes jokes about how easy it is and who fails in gunship-battle is a noob – but of course that’s exactly the time when our tank forgot to equip the jet pack or one of our healers fell off the gunship So of course it’s easy but be aware of stupid little mistakes!

Discipline:

Tanks:
– Keep them alive! The tank who jumps over to the other ship will get a LOT of damage! So focus on him/ her! Standing on the border of your ship next to the enemy’s ship is best. Shield + Penance + flash as fast as you can without any interrupts, keep casting!
– The tank who’ll stay on our ship will be punished by a wounding strike which lowers the healing, but that’s nothing serious. One of the raid healers will be able to top this easily
Raid:
– Don’t expect massive raid damage here. Shield people who are getting shot by the other ship’s riflemen. Watch the meeles who’re assiting the tank on your own ship because there’s a whirlwind action going on

Holy:

Tanks:
– As I mentioned above the tank who jumps over to the enemy ship will get most damage, so you should also stand close to the other ship and keep an eye on him. You can easily Renew and flash him from this point and also CoH the meele group on your own ship/ Renew the riflemen-victims.
Raid:
– Renew / CoH people who get shot by riflemen or attacked by a whirlwind/ by other stupid stuff.
– Did I already mention that gunship battle is cake? :p

Special Notes:

– Watch out for the orange runes on the floor! You don’t have to move if you are shielding and hotting yourself if the enemy’s-ship-tank gains a LOT of damage and he’d die if you’ll move – but if the tank is safe, move out!

Deathbringer Saurfang

Oh sweet times when this was an easy-shielding-fight for us! But of course Blizzard wants us to be stressed out soo shields aren’t absorbing as much as they used to do. But at least holy priests aren’t forced to pick an alternative disc spec anymore now and your raid still loves you with a holy tree here (at least mine does *is happy bunny*)

Discipline:

Tanks:
– You know it. Keep the weakened soul debuff up, shielding them whenever it’s possible. flash & Penance, pew pew! PoM is also useful.
Raid:
– It is still important to ALWAYS instantly shield people who are afflicted with boiling blood! In 25man raids as a discipline priest your only mission will be: shielding those victims!

Holy:

Tanks:
– Renew + PoM + CoH are your friends.
Raid:
– If you have no discipline priest in your raid, shielding the people who have the boiling blood debuff is first priority! If there’s a good disc priest in your setup feel free to renew those people or PoM + CoH if they’re standing close together

Special Notes:

– Mark of the Fallen Champion!
(it’s exact discription: Causes Deathbringer Saurfang’s melee attacks to splash to this target, inflicting 5,700 to 6,300 additional Physical damage. If the target dies while under this effect Saurfang is healed for 5% of his total health. Cannot be dispelled or removed by any means, including death)
If you aren’t completely busy with shielding, please please keep an eye on the Mark-victim! Renew, PoM, flash, everything is helpful, just don’t let him die! (but listen to your raidleader, some raids don’t heal the first Mark and let the victim die)

I fiiiinally recieved the prettiest mount ever: Anzuuuuuu *squeeees*! Gosh, so pretty!
So comfortable placing my cow-butt on his back

With my new raid group we finally saw and downed Festergut yesterday
(we had 5 random-people joining us, so I think it’s not bad!)
Finally a fight being a holy priest is fun again (PoH glyph is pure love!)

My Nuki recieved green ugly new shoulders!

I also finished my cooking-outfit (still need cookies mainhand ^^’)

I am also working on my fishing achievements but the saturdays Kalu’ak fishing derby sucks!
I am SO WELL prepared but after 2 or 3 minutes somebody already finished and won… that’s annoying.

Oh and I have a new project:
I play a tiny resto shaman on alliance side only visiting instances.
It’s a lot of fun (until you get Razorfen 10 times…)

*sigh* I love healing!

This made my day

Oooookay. Basics first.
My boyfriend wants the battared hilt. He wants it VERY BAD!
So after gearing ALL of our twinks (don’t even DARE to guess how many we got!) in the three new heroics with everything they could possibly need (Usual cenario: “Hey… your resto druid could also need that kitty dps neck, couldn’t she? Nobody rolls on it, so take it!” – “But I never wish to play kitty-” – “TAKE IT!”) the battered hilt only dropped ONE TIME and of course he didn’t win.
So now I am stuck in FoS, PoS and HoR EVERY DAY with at least three of my characters with three of my bf’s characters since weeks and guess what: it does – not – drop!

I hate tanking to pieces but I equipped my paladin with tank stuff either to be able to tank for my bf (and his terrrrible hilt!) and I also run with my resto druid or mage but it still hides in any various corpse. I don’t even think it’s a pretty sword and nothing makes it special to me but if he wants it, he’ll get it! *raises fist*

We will keep on farming those crappy houses to fiiiinally get him Quel’Delar!
(Do you hear me battered hilt? Please Drop, ok? I cannot stand these annoying instances anymore! Just DROP! D:)

When it comes to my playtime I am a little thoughtful atm.
As I had to deal with one sad year of unemployment I – on the other hand – had a lot of time for WoW stuffs.
But yesterday I unintentially discovered this:

Sooo many alts with emblems over and over
I don’t have to mention that most of them are well equipped (and after dinging 80 with my mage it only took 3 days to get her full T9 with the new system.. that’s insane if you think about how much time you spent in ToC to get all your emblems or triumph.. *sigh*).
It’s a little shocking that I spent so much time with World of Warcraft and as I looove leveling I can’t limit to one character… gnah. I think I should take a little break after all my bad experiences lately. The new LFG system makes me sad bunny because nobody in my group isn’t talking anymore. Everybody rolls need for everything and it’s just… like WoW lost his soul or something

Well I’ve done some profession-stuff lately.
Like a lot of cooking

(This was like HELL! Without special seasonal reciepes I had to go to
Dire Maul and other weird old instances and some days ago I FINALLY
got 160 reciepes! Sadly my bf told me AFTER I did that achievement that
I don’t need it to become a “chef” … u_u’ Now only ONE shattrath cooking
quest is missing! And only a few awards to obtain the chef hat :D)

Confused Nanuki running through Dire Maul, hunting the annoying imp who
has her last cooking reciepe! STOP RUNNING, LITTLE GUY D: !

I also did some fishing action
After I also recieved the special coin on my old priest main I also want it for my
new one! I enjoyed fishing in the night when it’s finally pretty empty around the
area.

Fishing the lurker with my bf was soooo funny
He (rogue): “I’ll try it first so you don’t have to die!” (wants to be my hero)
Me: “Eh… but I can… levitate… and… teh little fishes…-”
He: “AAACK, the fishes killed meeeh!”

But after buffing levitate him and myself we walked over to him and fished him
out of his watery prison This was kind of funney too! He spawned, I was running
away in fear but my bf just kept staying in front of his face.
Me: “Eh… don’t you wish to… vanish or something?”
He: “But the lurker isn’t in aggro-mode, you see? :D”
And he was instantly killed, ahahaha ^^

the best participant
But an evil <s>and ugly</s> male draenei KEPT putting
his lure into my schools D:

I love the Zangarmarsh area! Sooo pretty!

Oh and do you remember my post ranting about faction changing my nightelf
with her pretty birdy-set into a cow? Well, as you can see, I did it ^^
I am super-unhappy with her new set now but whatever. I love cow ladies and
sets will change soon, right?

It is a sad story.

When my boyfriend and I raided in our old guild we met another couple.
They were very funny and I liked the other girl a lot – so we spent much time together. In 25 man raids we had amusement with funny whispers while fighting and my bf did get along very well with the other guy either. We started a 10 man ToC raid together and had a lots of fun! We also talked about propably meeting in real life though they live in another country. After a couple of weeks my bf and I discussed about moving into their country as the financial income is a lot higher than in Germany – a plus would be living close to our new favorite couple

Unfortunately we lost contact after our raid guild broke apart after our guild leader quit playing. My bf and I started playing AION and were playing for a couple of weeks when finally a phone-message arrived from our friends. They told us that they faction changed and are finally happy and want to raid again!
Of course we wanted to play with them again and instantly started playing WoW again! We also faction changed to be able to play with them and I had sooo much fun whispering with the girl like in old times and everything was great! We planned to arrange our own raiding guild and have lots of fun together!

And then everything changed.

When I logged in one morning I realized that my character was guildless.
I was a little confused and recognized that my bf also had no guild tag under his name.
Our guild has been silently disbanded and when I /who’d our friends I saw they were in an another guild.
I asked my friend what happened and she said that her boyfriend and she found a new raid guild because they finally want to do 25 mans again and don’t want to spend so much time to build their own raid guild. She was sorry that they left us behind but we could also write an application and MAYBE we’d also be accepted.

That was hard.

I thought they were real friends. We only faction changed for THEM, to play with them again! Create our own sweet raid guild and have fun times! And they disbanded our guild without letting us know and are raiding with other people.

I haven’t heard any word from them after that happened.
I’m just sad. I don’t know ANYBODY on Horde side and feel pretty much left alone.

My bf (tank) and I (healer) have decent gear (232 – 245 item level) and we cannot find any guild to raid with again.
It feels weird because I used to be a priest officer in the past and I know how to play my class, I know what I am doing and I also felt quite important!
Now we can only find random raids with unfriendly people and everything feels strange.
