These next few chapters are probably going to be the most epic manga chapters I've ever read (or at least they should be).

Naruto and Kurama finally a tag team...working with the Killer Bee tag team. And I know Naruto has used up chakra, but its not like Tobi has infinite chakra. He's using a lot himself. And then finally I think either Gai and/or Kakashi are going to start using "all in" moves. Maybe Gai opens all the gates...

And then after all that you have the 5 kage vs Madara...and then after that you have Sasuke and Itachi vs Kabuto. That last one is a prediction of mine. I think that would be kinda awesome. (Edit) I see Fazzzy beat me to this prediction.

Decent chapter for me, best part was when they finally all boarded the Sunny and started sailing. Thought it would never happen. I also half expected Jinbe to jump on at the last minute, but oh well. Luffy definitely seems more focused following his training. He was always determined but there's something more mature and more refined about him now. He will always be crazy but I don't see it as childish crazy anymore. Someone mentioned earlier that the SH are calling him by Captain more often now, I noticed that too and I like it. The most likely conclusion that can be reached at this point is that Rayleigh and Mihawk taught Luffy and Zoro the basics of Haki and then let them develop their own abilities going forward. I highly doubt they taught Luffy or Zoro their own attacks and techniques and etc.
That is exactly how Luffy will defeat Big Mom. Just like Luffy developed gear second and third he surely could work out a new attack based around combining haki with his devil fruit powers. By the time he meets Mom there surely will be something he can do to defeat her, just as he found a way to defeat Enel and Gecko Moria against the odds. Besides, the full extent of Luffy's post time-skip strength has yet to be revealed. At Fishman Island it was clear that he was stronger. But with such a weak enemy it is unclear how much stronger.

It is also important to remember how important being able to draw strength from your friends and fight for their sake is in One Piece. To save his nakama, to save Jimbe and Fishman Island, Luffy will find a way to defeat Big Mom no matter what it takes. That is who he is, it is central to the character.

The first thing which I couldn't help but wonder is exactly how ichigo got to SS. Can he open senkaimon on his own? He would still have to go through the precipice thingy since there is no reason for him to have a hell butterfly. It does not quite seem like urahara had anything to do with him being there for the most part either.

Then there is the vizard thingy. To be honest I was mildly disappointed by this development. Quite frankly it is not quite the direction I was expecting with the vizards. I guess once their innocence regarding hollowification and aizen was proven the rules were twicked a little to allow them to remain in SS. I wonder if there are any particular rules regarding using their hollow powers. I could see SS forbidding them from using them. It would be consistent with the idea of not having random members wanting hollow powers for themselves... As for the development of the vizards, I was expecting them to kinda have their own goals aside from SS once aizen was dealt with. I was even expecting them to have a mildly antagonistic role in the future against SS with ichigo caught right in the middle. It is good to see shinji, kensei and rose with their own divisions though, I guess it makes sense if the vizards developed no objectives of their own during the last 100 years. I wonder what happened to love though, his division is being taken care of by komamura.

wood, or in the case of yamato and 1st hokage, trees/plants are living organisms. These guys are creating life by using spiritual+physical energy. Something only the Sage of the 6 paths did more efficiently. I guess it has something to do with the fact that they are using life (wood) to control another life form (bijuu).
What other characters in this manga have been able/mentioned to use a jutsu that creates life and not just re-animate or possess corpses/shadows/elements? the true power of mokuton is unleashed when used against/with the bijuu me thinks.

and if the conditions are right, life can evolve (like when naruto''s chakra reacted to zetsu). I'd wager that 1st hokage's mokuton would turn into some kind of super hard/dense ceramic type living material when it reacts to all the bijuu. kinda like that bone cage the kyuubi is in now.

Well, just because Zoro wasn't shown deflecting canonnballs or bullets doesn't mean he couldn't do it. Do you remember Alabasta Arc, when he learned how to cut without cutting? He showed that on a palm branch. I think it's something similar. If not even more refined.
I don't know about Tashigi being stronger than old Zoro. The guy was a monster even then. I have a hard time imagining Tashigi coping against Kyuutoryu, for example.
I wouldn't agree that Pekoms is a lot stronger than any of the SH. Let's not get carried away here. I think that Luffy at least could give a good fight for him.

The whole situation with yagura bugs the crap out of me. The more chapters pass the more Kishimoto makes it seem as though his perfect jinchuriki status was because of tobi. Which makes sense, but here is the problem, if Yagura was a Perfect Jin on his own merit then Kishimoto would basically be throwing away the point of being a perfect Jinchuriki.

What's the point If the sharingan can make it not matter if you're in tune with you're biju or not. Yeah I no that there weren't that many uchiha that could awaken the Mangekyo and I also no that there aren't that many that are even among the living but it doesn't change fact that kishimoto has us thinking about the Uchiha when we think about good or great genjutsu. The only great Sharingan-Less genjutsu user that we have seen is the second mizukage. All we have to compare him to is Kurenai and we can't say much about her other than what's in her databook entry.

If the point is to learn about Szayel's abilities, the identity of the bodies aren't that important as long as they're hollows/arrancars who fought Renji and Ishida. But you're right that Renji and Ishida recognized the bodies which narrows down the possibilities. In any case, if the next arc will feature Isshin as a key character, the bodies had better be connected to Isshin in one way or another.

Another reason why I want to learn about Isshin's past is Urahara. I believe Urahara has a key role in the events that happened when Isshin lost his powers and/or married Masaki. Ginjou told Ichigo not to trust Urahara which means Urahara did something questionable to Ginjou. Urahara thinks it's not his place to come clean and tell Ichigo everything but he urged Isshin to do so, which is why I expect to see a confession from Isshin soon.

I wouldn't be surprised if MS ability to control Kurama is called Sojobo, just as Amaterasu and Tsukyomi are also Tengu names. Legends state that Tengus used to ride Kitsunes. Son Goku is also a legend, and of course I believe Kishi got them from popular mangas, but we have to think hard on the primary legendary reference.

I now believe that Gobi is a kind of Dragon, having horns and an unnatural look that doesn't fit any known animal. It's not a mixture, as Hachibi is an Ox and an Octopus. It's simply impossible to define what it is. So it must be a dragon creature and something else, resulting in an unnatural and uncomprehensible look. Perhaps a dragon and a dog, like it is with the Neverending Story. It's hard to picture a dragon since we would normally place one on top of the food chain, but Son Goku is down below. And the Monkey King would be a top creature in most sets. So I now believe it to be some sort of Dragon-dog with 5 tails.

So assuming the same here, Tsukishima lost his affect on everyone by almost dying + you see him alive "After" Orihime lost her memories of him, I'm pretty sure this is the reason, Tsukishima was still alive at this point of the chapter, even if he were to die in the next chapter, he was alive when Orihime had forgotten him.

Probably like zanpaktou's shikai / bankai's going back to normal states, I'd even eat my own hat that a near death state would have made even Aizen's ability loose it's grip on the affected people.
Assuming Aizen were to be reintroduced, he will likely be a lot less of a threat since everyone will be released from his ability, probably due to his near dead state or the fact he was completely sealed off from the remaining world for a period of time.

I Kinda wish the jinchuriki team was cannon. I think it would have been an interesting thing to watch. I hate the fact that we have to see the Jinchuriki like this.

This chapter was really good. So it seems that Tobi can use the same tech that Kushina did, am i right? So is he an Uzumaki ?
And it was awesome to see the tailed beast get pissed of, by the fact how Hachibi has been treated was amazing. Loved everything on this chapter. And nice to see that Kishi didn't forgot about Suigetsu and Juugo. What do you mean? That he thinks that he's ready to start a family with Karin, or that he would take them back as a team? A few things I noticed in the last page of the chapter. Ginjou has a Zanpaktou which is expected. Tsukishima does not have a soul chain so he wasn't a spirit. Tsukishima could see Ginjou in his spirit form meaning he had quite a bit of Reiatsu.

Possibly because his mother was attacked by a hollow.
Ginjou looks really young in the last page meaning he left SS a while back, after Shinji and his group most likely but before Ichigo became a Shinigami.

I'm expecting a Turn Back the Pendulum arc again soon, either from Isshin or Ginjou. Both of whom are probably connected somehow. I wonder who transferred their power to Ginjou to make him a Substitute Shinigami?

Rōshi was the jinjuriki of the Four-Tails that hailed from Iwagakure. The Four-Tails has been captured and sealed by Akatsuki, causing his death when the beast was extracted. However, upon his resurrection, the Four-Tails appears to have been resealed within Roshi.

Abilities

He has been noted to be a very powerful shinobi. Kisame, a powerful Akatsuki member himself, stated that he was not one to play around with as he was a tough one to capture. He was also seen using a curved kunai with which it can be assumed that he had proficiency wielding.

Rōshi became the jinchūriki of the Four-Tails at a very young age. He left his home town of Iwagakure at some point to better understand and control the power of the beast within him.
