We love Craigslist’s find so much that we’re now doing a weekly Nashville find, starting with one of the best Dog Walking and Pet Sitting ads we’ve seen yet, we’re sorta always on the look-out for a dependable animal-loving sitter.

So, since dogs and cats prefer to be in their own surroundings while you’re away, this reputable gal will come to you and take care of your BFFs.  With a whole host of references, patience for your special requests and a love for critters that’s downright adorable, you honestly don’t need to look further for a pet sitter, dog walker and she’ll even run your errands for you.

Going with this pet sitter has saved our family time, money and stress.  Just sayin.

Well folks, it’s that time again, literally.

This Sunday, don’t forget to set your clocks forward an hour for Daylight Savings where you might actually see some sunshine on your way home this month.

Friday and Saturday night starting at 7:30pm, sit back and enjoy readings of original 10-minute plays by local authors.  Each night will feature 10 new plays, so not every evening will be the same.  Authors include the likes of Jeremy Childs, Nate Eppler, Shawn Whitsell and Mary McCallum.

Be sure to be at Belmont’s Black Box Theater this weekend for some of the best in local theater.

Starting March 29, Nashville’s bus lines will launch a new free downtown circulator route to their schedule.

With new to the fleet diesel-electric hybrid buses painted blue and green, these buses will run the downtown routes later this month.  Also new to the transit schedule is an  additional service to Vandy’s Medical Center clinics at 100 Oaks Mall.

The premier horticultural event for Tennessee, the show usually brings in more than 22,000 people and is one of the largest gardening shows this side of the Mason Dixon Line.

Gates open at 10am each day, and close at 8pm each evening except Sunday when the doors close at 5pm.  Admission is $1 and you can’t afford to miss this show if you’re any kind of gardener.

Singer-songwriter Megan Munroe will be taking the infamous Bluebird Cafe stage for that week’s Sunday Spotlight.  Sultry soulstress Munroe will be performing songs from her record, One More Broken String, and you certainly don’t wanna miss out on this one folks.

The name apparently makes reference to the 1950s novel  The World of Suzie Wong,  a story of a stunning Asian working girl who falls in love with an American diploma, who William Holden played in the 1960 movie of the same name.

So on down Knoxville way lives a redhead named Jessica Weiss who owns and operates a jewelry shop and studio on Kingston Pike, though that tells us as much about the location as being in Atlanta and saying it’s on Peachtree, right?

Anyway, about a mile from West Town Mall you’ll find Jessica Weiss’ shop and studio where you probably won’t stop looking at all of the 22K gold pieces for two hours straight and then you might even have to stay for a metalsmithing class.

Weiss has been creating original, handcrafted jewelry in the Knoxville area for more than eight years, and this experience certainly shows through in her stunning collection.  Any piece from Jessica Weiss will make an exceptional gift whether it’s a surprise, a Mother’s Day present or a please-forgive-me gift.

Bridgestone Americas  and the Nashville Predators are holding a press conference today announcing a multi-year deal that will create the new Bridgestone Arena, currently named the Sommet Center.

While there are no details as of yet, it looks like Bridgestone’s offer exceeded that of the local Sommet Group’s naming rights deal.

So, welcome to the BridgestoneArena it would seem.
