Nathan is a fellow in the Spring 2010 class of the Institute of Political Leadership, a multi-partisan, non-profit, research and educational institution formed to improve the overall quality of political and governmental leadership in North Carolina at the state and local levels. The purpose of the Institute is to develop political skills of North Carolina citizens with potential to be the state’s future political leaders. Nathan and 15 to 20 other fellows will participate in 10 weekend seminars — including more than 55 workshops — covering everything from campaign planning to polling to TV production.
