Join “On Location” author Joe Frost and artist/subject Charles Cooper in the NAS Library next Tuesday 18/10 at 12:45 to discuss the Artist Monograph.

The Artist Monograph is a formal term for a publication dedicated to the work of a single artist. Oeuvre, biography, critique and high quality reproductions provide a thorough examination of an artists’ practice.

In an increasingly digital publishing landscape, the Artist Monograph remains a primarily material format- from catalogue to catalogue raisonné.

In Tuesday's session, contemporary and historic examples of this unique format will be presented for attendees to explore and discuss, and Joe and Charles will position their new publication within the extensive Artist Monograph collection of the National Art School.
