I tried flexi rods using Eco styler gel the night before. Of course.. it wasn't dried completely in the morning so the curls were loose and already coming out :(, but i thought of this style and liked it, pretty simple.

Summer's End (II)

This summer i wanted to try atleast once!! a twist out! i loved it, i was just experimenting , it was soo hot and poofed up by the end of the day but i loved it.

I also got to try on an indian Sari! thanks to my beautiful friend :) i was soo excited to try it on.

The dreaded moment has finally come where i have to end my relaxation and back my bags. As exciting as beginning college seems, i still ache inside at the thought of no time, stressful hours, less night outs with friends, etc...... BUT it has been an amazing summer! one of the few i've enjoyed this much. I met new people, laughed till i dropped and went new places. Now that its ended... ughhh. Starting college on Monday!! the fear, the anxiety, the butterflies in my stomach lol

The highlight of this summer i think was the camp i went to for the disabled.

A New Journey

My family has always been talking about changing our diet, finally we saw the video of that 70 yr old woman who had found her fountain of youth (her garden of veggies) and we just got super motivated to begin our journey to a healthier life. The blogger heyfranhey also has been a great inspiration and i hope that posting this post will keep me dedicated to continuing this.

My first smoothie i made this morning, lol banana and paw paw/papaya.

At first i was like.....okay...this doesn't taste too bad at all. i don't much like paw paw but i know its good for the body. But the smoothie actually made the taste better! the smell of the paw paw which i hate was completely drowned by the banana.

I'm so excited about this new goal! I can't wait to experiment with smoothies and I know for sure the results will be great.

These twists i think are about 3 weeks old, and i did them myself :) yay!. I made up some method of getting them this long because i could not find any video on how to get them this length. I used the pulling method in order to get the ends the way they are.

This week i dedicated to HIGH BUNS! just wrap at night and go! so easy, convenient and cute!
I've finally completed my exams. I feel so free and I can't wait to begin this summer of absolute blissful freedom! I've had my first graduation rehearsal hehe. I honestly wont miss secondary school that much but hey, I made some good memories...though they were few, but still good!

I need a lil help figuring out what hairstyle i'll do for graduation, please help me out and comment with your ideas :)

Piled with heat protectant!! I blow dried my hairr ( mainly because we borrowed a blow dryer and won't get one in another few years)
Maybe next time i'll get a better picture XD

First flat iron with Blow dry

We blow dried and flat ironed her hair and as usual it didn't come out as we wanted lol. Her hair is super thick and you can see it has quite a bit of layers.

If you guys have any tips for us please comment! we're still trying to find a way to flat iron which will give us different results.

Twists~*Twists~*Twists

With two strand twists, it was so much easier to wash my hair every morning. Whenever i had to go out i would either re-twist the front or for a really special occasion re-twist my entire hair.
My cap also became my closest friend. It covered my forehead rash and kept my hair down enough to cover my neck.
This pic is really recent, my face has cleared up but my neck still has a bit of dried up rash. But this has been my basic way of hiding the rash.

I had started feeling a uncomfortably itchy a long time before i finally went to see a general practitioner.After being treated for a week with what the General Practitioner had prescribed, which was an anti dandruff and anti itch shampoo along with some pills ( names i can't remember), The doctor referred me to a skin doctor who then said i had Seborrheic dermatitis, a common scalp and facial condition that often causes dandruff.

So by this time, it had traveled to my face and neck because of my incessant scratching. I could stand it along my edges and the back of my neck because my hair was able to cover those areas... but then my face was filled with the rash and i had to attend lessons! and of course people noticed which made it more difficult to concentrate on anything else besides this rash. I also was told to wash my hair everyday with the shampoo! Wash natural hair every day! twice a day! so yea..my hair was pretty much in a mess all the time. After a while i only washed the visibly affected areas during the week and my entire head on the weekends.
If you think you'll be grossed out, maybe you shouldn't look lol...
