Selling lingerie on the internet at www.naughtyandnicelingerie.com has brought me more blessing than I can count. Not only do I receive financial benefits from owning a florishing business, but I get to meet wonderful people along the way.

I met a couple on the internet just the other day. I have been speaking with them and suggesting lingerie pieces to fit their vivacious love life that has been rekindled while in their 60's! I loved their story so much, with their permission, I want to share it with you.

Adam* contacted me on Sunday night, finding me through my linkedin profile. He was a man on a mission. His wife was having some issues with lingerie and he asked for my advice on better options. Adam* credits his wife, Eve*, for helping him eat better and weaning him off artificial sweetners. Adam* says he now has the libido of a 30 year old.

Isn't this just a wonderful story? I love stories like this at any time of year, but especially now, during the season of Love and Saint Valentine. It just goes to show you that it is never too late to find love and everyone can continue to enjoy an intimate love life, even later in life. Dutch department store HEMA has created a world-wide sensation by brilliantly using a male model to advertise its range of push-up bras.

The androgynous 20-year-old model Andrej Pejic, who was born in Bosnia before emigrating to Australia, features in figure-hugging dresses, with a bust that looks every-inch a woman’s.

The push-up bra promises to add two cup sizes to any bust.

HEMA’s advertising campaign has already become an internet hit. On his Twitter page, Pejic notes: “Did I ever think I had enough booty to advertise a push-up bra? No. But am I working it or what?”

Racy red lingerie has finally been surpassed as the favourite color for men buying Christmas treats for their partners.

Sales of purple colored lingerie are up 54 percent his year, with a 50 year winning streak for scarlet undies finally ending.

“After being the automatic number one choice for the past five decades, red has finally been replaced. Men are relying on purple underwear to work its magic this year,” revealed Debenhams spokesperson Michelle Dowdall.

According to Psychology.com, purple is a associated with royalty and wealth; and also wisdom and spirituality. Perhaps shoppers are drawn to it at Christmas time as they look forward to a new year that will hopefully be more comfortable than the last.

Red is considered an intense, or even angry, colour that creates feelings of excitement or intensity.

Plus Size Lingerie- Make the Most Of Your Curves

In my last post, I told you about Seven 'til Midnight's "Baby got Curves Collection." I wanted to continue to discuss plus size women and there curves, because I believe it's important to realize that everyone is beautiful in sexy lingerie, not matter what number or letters are on the tag.

If you are a curvaceous woman, don’t get disheartened that you don’t possess the skinny figure to put on sexy outfits. In fact, men are just as attracted to curvy women. As most know, October is Breast Cancer awareness month. There are many charities out there that support breast cancer awareness and early detection. I just wanted to take a moment to point out a few.

The Breast cancer Research Foundation's mission is to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime by providing critical funding for innovative clinical and translational research at leading medical centers worldwide, and increasing public awareness about good breast health. Currently, over 90 cents of every dollar donated goes to research and awareness programs.

Lovehoney advertisement bumped off daytime television

Lovehoney is an online adult store that sells sex toys, erotic lingerie, condoms, lubricants and gifts.

The advertisement does not show the actual sex toys. The television advertisement features nothing more than a steamy kiss between a couple before they leave for work, but it was deemed to be too provocative for a 10:15am slot that had originally been cleared by regulators.

It is part of a multi-channel campaign built around the theme of couples living a sexier life.

"ITV has got cold feet. It’s a real shame,” Lovehoney’s chief executive Richard Longhurst said.

September's sale event: 30% off already marked down clearance items for a limited time! Now is the time to take advantage of some of your favorite's at an even better deal!

If you haven't done so already, it may be time to clean out those lingerie drawers and purchase new bras! You should change your bras every six months to get the optimal support. To see for yourself, take my 6-month bra challedge. Buy two exact same style and size bra (color doesn't matter). Wear one for 6 months and put the other away. At the end of six months, pull out the new bra and compare it to the older bra. You will be amazed at the stretch and elastic band shape.
