In an amazing display of terrible, brutal football my team is winless. It's not like I'm knocking on the door or even pretending to be in close games. I am BAD. Brutal. TERRIBLE. I feel like the classic winless Bucs, not the Lions of last year.. the team that was so brutal when they asked their head coach, "What do you think of your team's execution?" He replied, "I'm all for it." That's how I feel with big name, little production players like Colt McCoy, Julio Jones, and Regis Benn leading the charge. These guys are stiffs right now, Benn can't find the end zone with a map. The last time Julio Jones scored gas was under $1.20 a gallon and the internet hadn't been invented yet.

I don't even want to talk about the problems I've had at TE, right now, I must be running the triple option and my TE's are extra linemen. I actually think I've been through like 8 on the year, musical chairs. Mosley gets the boot in Oklahoma State, Saunders can't catch a cold in South Carolina and so on. It's so bad, that I took LANCE KENDRICKS just so I could cheer more for him during Badger games.. nobody else was scoring anyway. It's like a bunch of dudes hanging out together on prom night, nothing good is going to happen. Not surprisingly, when Kendricks showed up in my fantasy football team locker room; he turned in his #84 jersey and asked for #64.

Continue reading "Another Fantasy Football Preview"

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will host the University of Southern California (USC) Trojans Saturday afternoon in South Bend.

Notre Dame (4-1) currently has a seven-game losing streak to USC (4-1) and they have been humiliated by the Trojans in their last two contests by a combined score of 76-3.

“I think that our university really, really could use this win,” Notre Dame Head Coach Charlie Weis said in the understatement of this millennium.

The portly Weis, 53, who was given $40 million and a five-year contract to coach the Irish, has been roundly criticized for the ineptitude he has displayed on the sidelines since he was hired by Notre Dame in 2004.

Weis, whose Irish are currently ranked #25 in the nation, lost a school record 15 games over a span of two seasons in 2007 and 2008 and he has been defeated in his last six consecutive contests against top-10 teams.

Continue reading "USC Scumbag Mocks Weis Daughter"

I haven't really written much lately because I've been pretty busy.. of course, that doesn't mean I don't think about football.

1. Chris Spielman is awesome. No nonsense, says what he thinks and how he feels. He expects players to make plays, I wonder if he would ever want to coach. If so, you've got to give him an interview.. at least. I guarantee his team would have instant toughness and not hurt themselves. There are some mid-major programs that could use this guy.

2. If Wisconsin corners are going to give Levonne Rowan type cushion, they better stick the WR. Right now, I'm fairly certain they can't cover a book or tackle an elementary math problem.

3. The Badgers are a few years from being legit, but at least they have a few young players that are fun to watch. JJ Watt, Chris Borland, Mike Taylor, and Nick Toon will be electric in the next few years.

Continue reading "Random Football NCAA Thoughts"

Fresno State +8.5 vs. Wisconsin. (Wisconsin had over 30 people sick with a 2 day flu bug and only beat Northern Illinois by 8. Fresno State is a better opponent and is not afraid of playing big competition. Ryan Mathews can run the ball all day and Fresno will play tough enough defense against the Badgers)

Fresno State/Wisconsin under 53. Both teams love to run the ball and play a little bit of defense. They can be inconsistent and Fresno State won't show up sometimes, but usually it takes a beating before they quit on the season. They'll be up for this game, which Wisconsin won 13-10 last year. I expect a 20-17 type slugfest.

Gerogia vs. South Carolina under 40. Big bet, BIIIIIG bet. Neither team can score, Joe Cox has been out all week resting an injury. South Carolina D's up against Georgia and neither team is explosive. Last year was 14-7 and that was when Georgia had the #1 and #12 picks in the NFL draft. Big time SEC defensive battle.

So, I don't know if you heard about this new emphasis that college football is placing during games. It's apparently geared towards stopping hitting of "defenseless" players and head-hunting. Well, apparently this rule is awful. I mean, TERRIBLE. In case you weren't watching the Georgia vs. Oklahoma State game this bad rule came into full effect. Georgia S Rashard Jones delivered a picture perfect shoulder first hit into a receiver going for the ball, doing what Jones was taught to do. NOT LET THE OPPONENT CATCH THE BALL. Amazingly, every ref and 30,000 people in the stands threw their flags onto the field. It looked like litter out there, absolute trash.

Continue reading "Yuck Oklahoma State Cowboys vs Georgia Bulldogs Shows Awful College Rule"
