But he does not drive a car, or take the ferry or train. He rides his bike.&lt;br /&gt;

Hermann’s life-long love for two-wheeled transportation almost came to tragic end two years ago as he pedaled the 12 miles to his Winston-Salem home.  Here is his story.&lt;br /&gt;
