Many college representatives are scheduled to visit NCHS. Visits are posted on the school calendar and on Mrs. Ahearn's Google Classroom. Sign up for SRT visits on the bulletin board outside Mrs. Ahearn's office.
• University of Chicago: Oct. 13 during SRT
• Aurora University: Oct. 19 during lunches
• Bradley University: Nov. 10 during SRT

Students can request to see Mrs. Ahearn by following the new request link on the Guidance Page new request link on the Guidance Page. After Mrs. Ahearn receives your request, she will issue you a pass on Minga. Please ask your teacher to come to Mrs. Ahearn's Office at the time listed on the pass. Please Note: This form is only monitored during school hours. If it is an emergency, please ask your teacher to come to the School Counselor's Office. This form is for students to request to see the counselor. Parents should email Mrs. Ahearn at wahearn@nchs18.org.

Emergency school closing information will be announced on this website, by phone to all parents through the SwiftK12 communication system and on WSPY 107.1 FM

If bad weather or other emergency occurs during the day, please listen to local media stations for possible early dismissal information. For your child's safety, make certain your child knows ahead of time where to go in case of an early dismissal.
