Job duties include:
*Provide support for groups as well as individual students - both special education and regular education.
*Complete special education paperwork.
*Collaborate with principal, special education director, teachers, and outside agencies to schedule and attend IEP meetings, problem solving team meetings.
*Collaborate on Response to Intervention process. Assist with development and monitoring of behavior intervention plans.
*Conduct functional behavior assessments and social histories.
*Provide crisis intervention as needed.
*Serve as school liaison to social service agencies.
*Other duties as assigned.
The selected candidate must possess a high moral and ethical character; must be a team player and a student advocate; appropriate State of Illinois certification.
Term of Employment is 190 days. Salary / Benefits are regionally competitive and will be discussed with the final candidate. Completion of mandated training through Global Compliance Network without financial compensation within first semester of employment.
