Ensure that a sufficient number of staff are employed to meet resident care needs and that the facility admits only the residents for whom it can provide adequate care.
Ensure that each resident's rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil rights including the right to lodge a complaint are strictly enforced.
Participate in and/or conduct in-service for facility staff.
Prepare budgets and financial reports.
Enforce work and safety rules.
Participate in surveys and inspections as conducted by authorized government agencies.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Requirements:

Hospital Administrator License required.
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field preferred.
Proven track record of strong management and leadership skills.
Ability to read and interpret financial reports and budgets.
Knowledge of the state of Georgia reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures as well as laws a PLUS.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, visitors and staff and create collaborative relationships across the organization.
Demonstrate excellent problem solving and cognitive thinking skills.
