The Almost Heaven Kennel in Emmaus, Pennsylvania was raided by the PSPCA and removed 56 ailing dogs and cats.  The 56 removed immediately needed medical attention, and the PSPCA is negotiating to take 100 more animals. Now I know this is kind of off topic, but it does pertain to dog food. How?Back in March 2007 there was a massive dog food recall. It was because of Melamine.Melamine is a chemical used in fertilizers, and was found to be in quite a few brands of dog food. Melamine is not safe for human consumption, let alone consumption by our dogs.Quite a few dogs died because of this contamination.
