I dug out some old Plumtree albums the other day....been awhile since I listened to anything by them.....reminded me of High-School a lil...(Plumtree was an all female Indie-Rock band from Halifax...they disbanded in late 2000)...I`ll leave ya my favs...CN

Ok so I`ve heard the new Whitest Boy Alive LP and its freaking turning me into a dance-aholic...Erlend Oye is probably the koolest "White Boy" out there right now....I didn`t think the album was gonna be as good as the 1st...but I was totally wrong...hopefully there will be a vinyl release when it drops in March...CN

I Wikipedia`d K-Os last night to find out when the new album "Yes" is coming out......turns out its not till March....Shitty....I`ve herd a few tracks and I think its gonna blow the socks off Atlantis...I`ve always enjoy`d K-Os....don`t shoot me for saying this but I`ve always found him to be Canada`s Kanye......Just an opinion....CN

Ok so the new Animal Collective LP "Merriweather Post Pavilion" is almost "Nicotine Addictive".....which is very strange since I find myself never being a fan of A.C. before...Absolutely a must have on Vinyl, and an early fav of 2009 I`m sure......Also me and a buddy of mine were disscussing our love for American Apparel models...So I put together a few of my favs....CN

OK so 2008 was a horrible year for blogging.....between getting married and moving into a new home my heart just wasn`t in it this year....Plus I had a few bumps with the whole copyright thingy (basically I didn`t get a chance to finish my best of 2008)....But i`m gonna take another shot at this starting with the Friendly Fires...an album I enjoyed a lot over the Holiday break....CN

Good

An album named after my home state...a 19 year old kid who not only writes his own songs, but records them as well....are just a few reasons why I enjoyed Texas this year. Its one of those albums that I would give to my friends knowing that I would hear a positive response...

Disapointing

The best way for me to describe Viva La Vida is "Meh"....nothing that bad here, but nothing that good either....that`s all I really have to say about the album...CN

Mother Mother & Wooden Sky

I saw Mother Mother and Wooden Sky this weekend. Both acts played great, I think Wooden Sky sounded better but they didn`t have any technical difficulties like Mother Mother. On the other hand the new Mother Mother album is addicting and won`t leave my player.....Please go and see Mother Mother if they come close to your home town...You won`t be dissapointed..CN
