अभी तलक न तो कुंदन हुए न राख़......!

मैं अचंभित हूँ और विस्मित भी, अजब हैरानी की बात है, कल तलक, जिसको बगैर सोचे एक पल काटना मुश्किल था, वो आज अचानक सिर्फ अतीत का किस्सा बन कर रह गई है। वो एहसास जो मेरे रेशे-रेशे में स्पन्दित हो रहा था, आज बस एक धुंधली याद से जियादा कुछ भी नहीं। जिस के साथ इक लम्हा बिताने के लिए, मैं व्याकुल हुआ करता था, जिसकी इंतजार में बिताया गया एक-एक क्षण एक-एक युग की मानिंद प्रतीत होता था ..कटे नहीं कटते थे पल इंतज़ार के, ऐसा लगता था मनो समय ठहर गया हो। हृदय की अकुलाहट की क्या कहना , हर पल उकसी एक झलक पाने को अधीर रहता था, जब भी कोई आहट होती थी तो चौंक जाता था, यूँ लगता था जैसे कहीं वो न आई हो..... उसके भेजे हर पैगाम को सैकड़ो बार पढता था.... फिर भी नहीं उबता था। आठो पहर उसकी यादो की सातत्य बनी रहती थी, आत्मा के पोर-पोर में उसकी संगीत बजती रहती थी.. एक अनुपम मुस्की स्वाधिष्ठान से आविर्भूत होती रहती थी। जिससे भी मिलता था मुस्कुरा के मिलता था, चलते-चलते यूँ ही मुस्कुरा उठता था, हमेशा पुलकित रहता था ..राह चलते यूँ लगता था, मनो पैरो में पंख लग गए हो, प्रतीति होता था जैसे हाथ बढ़ा के तारे तोड़ सकता हूँ। चाहे किसी से भी बात करूँ ,मुदाद्दा कोई भी हो, उसकी तजकिरा किये बगैर बात समाप्त नहीं होती थी...तृप्ति ही नहीं मिलती थी...रात फलक के चाँद-तारों को भी हाले दिल सुनाने से नहीं चूकता था। हर वक्त हर घडी उसी की इंतज़ार मे कटता था। साँस-साँस में उसकी यादो की लड़ी लगी रहती थी ! उसके साथ बिताया गया हर वो पल, हर वो लम्हा मन्नतो वाला वक्त हुआ करता था, मुरदे मुकम्मल होतीं थी ! उसकी जादुई कुर्बत में, मैं खुशबू की शीतल बारिश में नहा जाता था..क्या मादक खुशबू थी..!.घंटो महक से तन-मन सुवासित रहता था .

आश्चर्य है ! आज याद करने पर भी ठीक से याद नहीं आती है। खुद पर यकीन नहीं आ रहा है, क्या मैं इतना बदल सकता हूँ.... ! सब कुछ बड़ी तेज़ी से बदल रही है, सिर्फ रूप भर ही बदलता तो भी ठीक था, यहाँ तो गुण-धर्म तक बदलते जा रहें है। जीवन की प्राथमिकताएँ बदल रही है, अतीत रेत की मानिंद हाथ से सरकता जा रहा है ! जब अपने अतीत को सोचता हूँ तो एसा प्रतीत होता है जैसे मैं ने पर्दे पे कुछ देखा हो, जिसका यथार्त से कोई वास्ता नहीं है.....!

यकीन नहीं आता कि वो खुल्दनुमा भाव जो इतनी प्रबल व् प्रगाढ़ थी कि जिसके सामने सारी दुनिया थोथी और झूठी नजर आती थी... आज ख्यालो में भी उसकी अनुभूति मयस्सर नहीं है।

आज फिर से मैं अमल आकाश की भाँति अपने मूल स्थान पर यथावत विधमान हूँ, जैसे कभी कोई सूनामी आया ही न हो, जैसे तूफ़ान जैसी कोई चीज कहीं होती ही नहीं है। मेरे मन की नीरवता को देख कर ये कतई अनुमान नहीं लगाया जा सकता है कि इस मन की आकाश में कभी कोई झंझावात भी उठा था। कितनी ताज़ुब की बात है, कल तलक, हर छब में जिसकी छब झलकती थी, आज वो कैसी दिखती है, ये भी ठीक से याद नहीं है। ये सब कोई सालो पहले की बात नहीं, बामुश्किल चंद रोज़ गुजरे होंगे, एकदम ताज़ा-तरीन वाकया है.... पर पीछे मुड़ कर देखने से लगता है जैसे मुद्दतों पहले हुआ हो ये सब, और वो भी किसी और के साथ। यूँ लग रहा है जैसे मैंने ये सब, बस सुना या देखा हो...जैसे सब-कुछ किताब में पढ़ी गई हो...कोई अफसान हो.......

विचारों का जगत तो क्षण-भंगुर है ही, भाव का जगत भी कुछ जियादा भरोसे के काबिल नहीं है। विचार और भाव दोनों चलायमान है, देर-अबेर दोनों का विघटन हो जाता है.....विचार ऐसे है जैसे किसी ने पानी पे लकीर खीची हो, बना नहीं की मिट गया, और भाव ऐसे है मोनो किसी ने रेत के महल बनायें हो, खूबसूरत, दिखने में एकदम पत्थर से बना प्रतीत होता हो, पर लहर के आते ही सब लीप-पुत के बराबर......... भाव कुमुदनी के पंखुड़ियों पर टीकी तुहिन कण से जियादा नहीं है....सूरज के आने भर की देर होती है....इधर सूरज आया नहीं की, उधर वो वाष्पिभूत हुआ........

जिन भावों को अभिव्यक्त करने के लिए बेशाख्ता दलीले इकठा किया करता था, कविताएँ गढ़ता था, शब्दों को छंदों में सजाता था, ह्रदय गंगा को आँखों के रास्तें प्रवाहीत करता था, आज वो कभी अपने अस्तित्व में थे भी या नहीं, इसकी प्रतिभिग्याँ करनी दुरभ हो रही है !

रात जब सपना देखता हूँ तो एक बार भी शक नहीं उठता उसकी सत्ता को लेके, सुब्ह जब आँख खुलती है तो जो सामने होता है वही सच लगता है....जीवन की ये पहेली सुलझाये नहीं सुलझ रही है.....चुआन्त्सु की भांति, सोच रहा हूँ की क्या सच है....क्या है सच ??....वो सपना जो मैंने रात देखा था या फिर ये जो अभी देख रहा हूँ....." रात मैंने सपने में देखा कि.... मैं तितली हो गया हूँ,,,कहीं एसा तो नहीं की तितली सपना देख रही है की में चुआन्त्सु हो गया हूँ ?.."

‘बंद करो बलात्कार का हाहाकार......’!

‘बलात्कार’, कभी आपने इस शब्द की महिमा पर विचार किया है….. यह शब्द इस सदी के सबसे महिमावान शब्दों मे से एक है। कभी आपने गौर किया है कि….एक तरह का खीचाव है इस शब्द मे....इस शब्द को पढ़ के या सुन के ऐसे लगता है, जैसे यह शब्द आपको अपनी ओर खीचता हो। हमेशा से पुरुषों के के भीतर गज़ब का आकर्षण रहा है इस शब्द के प्रति, अगर आप पुरुष हैं तो इस बात को जानते होंगे। ऐसा पुरुष ढूँढना मुश्किल है जो अपने जीवन मे कभी न कभी किसी स्त्री की ‘बलात्कार’ करने की बात न सोची हो। और, अगर किसी के मर्ज़ी के खिलाफ उससे संबंध बनाने का नाम बलात्कार है तो ऐसा पुरुष या स्त्री ढूँढना मुश्कील है जिसने कभी अपने पति या पत्नी के साथ बलात्कार न किया हो।

पुरुषों का सारा मज़ा जबरदस्ती मे है, ऐसे बहुत कम पुरुष मिलेंगे जो शादी के बाद भी foreplay जारी रखते है, afterplay तो बहुत दूर की बात है...., कौन पुरुष गरज मिट जाने के बाद फिकर करता है की उसकी शरीक-ए-विस्तर किस हाल मे है..... मैं ऐसे कई मित्रो को जानता हूँ जिन्होनों ने मुझसे कहा है कि उन्हे स्त्रियों या अपनी पत्नी के साथ जबरदस्ती संबंध बनाना अच्छा लगता है और उनका ऐसा करना उनकी स्त्रियों को भी रुचता है। आज पश्चिम मे sex orgy या group sex आम बात है। स्त्रियाँ के लिए एक पुरुषवादी(monogamy) होना अब बस पिछली सदी की बात रह गई है।

वस्तुतः सेक्स अपने आप मे एक हिंसात्मक क्रिया है, The very act of sex is violent’. इसी लिए तो हम सैनिको को उनकी पत्नी से दूर रखते है, क्योंकि वो अगर अपनी हिंसा को सेक्स मे निकाल देंगे, तो फिर लड़ने मे उनका रस नहीं रह जाएगा। शायद आपने गौर नहीं किया हो, हमारे सारे हथियार का आकार पुरुष के लिंग जैसा होता है। लेकिन, हमारे लिए हम करते क्या है ये तो सवाल ही नहीं है, हमारे लिए ‘शब्द’ action से जियादा महत्वपूर्ण होता है,,,,हम करते क्या है वो महवपूर्ण नहीं है, नाम क्या देते उसको, ये जियादा महत्वपूर्ण है। एक तरफ हम, घिनौना से घिनौना काम हम अच्छे शब्दो की आड़ कर कर लेते है और दूसरी तरफ मामूली सी बात को बड़े बड़े शब्द दे कर जीवन से भी जियादा महत्वपूर्ण बना देते है।

हमारा सारा खेल ही शब्दो का खेल हैं.....और यही खेल हमने ‘बलात्कार’ शब्द के साथ भी खेला है, ‘बलात्कार’ की घटना मे वो दंश नहीं जो ‘बलात्कार’ शब्द मे है....This word has great psychological impact on our mind….! We have made this word 'बलात्कार' sound much bitterer, than it deserves.

किसी भी एक घटना के लिए अपनी या किसी और की ज़िंदगी तबाह करना पागलपन है। जीवन अपने आप मे बहुत बड़ी बात है। बलात्कार की वास्तविक औकाद गुस्से मे मारे गए एक थपड़ से जियादा नहीं है। हो सकता है आपको मेरी बात समझ मे न आए, क्योंकि हमारी शिक्षा-दीक्षा ने हमरे अंदर सेक्स को लेकर एक विशेष नजरिया पैदा कर दिया है, लेकिन अगर आप शांत हो कर विचार करेंगे तो शायद समझ मे आजाए।

मेरे ख़याल से ‘बलात्कार’ के लिए किसी व्यक्ति को सजा देना तो निहायत ही पागलपन है। अगर कोई व्यक्ति किसी का रेप करता है तो उसमे वह समाज जिसमे उसका दिमाग परिष्कृत हुआ है, उस व्यक्ति से कहीं अधिक जिम्मेवार है। वैसे भी सजा समाधान नहीं है, सजा से किसी भी समस्या का हल नहीं होता।

हमे जीवन को देखने के नज़रिया को बदलना होगा, अपराधियों की जगह जेल नहीं, हॉस्पिटल होनी चाहिए। उनका मनोवैज्ञानिक इलाज़ किया जाना चाहिए, और सिर्फ उन्ही लोगों का नहीं जिन्होने बलात्कार किया है बल्कि उनका भी जो ऐसा करने की सोचते है, क्योंकि जो आज सोचता है कल करेगा भी, बस मौका और थोड़ी सी हिम्मत की बात है। हमारे तथाकथित सरीफ लोग और अपराधी मे बस थोड़ी हिम्मत का फर्क होता है, बाँकी बुनियादी तौर पर दोनो एक ही थैली के चट्टे-बट्टे है।

अपराधियों को हिकारत भरी निगाह से देखने की बजाय, उनके साथ सहज और आम इंसान की भाँति पेश आने की जरूरत है, उनका साधारण रोगी की तरह मनोवैज्ञानिक इलाज़ किया जाना चाहिए।

समाज के कुछ नियमो मे भी बदलाव लाने की जरूरत है, एक से जियादा शादी करने की प्रथा को समाप्त की जानी चाहिए, प्रकृति एक पुरुष के लिए एक स्त्री को ही पैदा करता है......एक समय पर एक से जियादा स्त्री को रखना sexual perversion को बढ़ावा देना है। अगर एक अकेला आदमी तीन स्त्री को रखेगा तो जो बाँकी के दो पुरुष हैं वो बेचारे क्या करेंगे....।

And, there is no need to have any kind of attitude towards sex, neither for it nor against it. If you fight against nature, you are bound to go pervert. Naturally men are polygamous, and there is nothing wrong about it…..but to force people to live with one man or woman, is ugly….and is one of the prominent cause of perversion/rape..!

अगर दो व्यक्ति एक दूसरे से प्रेम करते है और साथ रहना चाहते है, तो उन्हे साथ रहने की पूरी स्वतंत्र मिलनी चाहिए, लेकिन किसी को भी किसी बंधन मे बांध कर किसी के साथ रहने के लिए मजबूर करना गलत है और ये बलात्कार या दूसरे प्रकार के पाखंडो को बढ़ावा देता है ......

All These Girls Are Lesbian…!

The other day, I happened to read an absurd ad-article, which was published on the first page of a prominent news paper. The heading of article was ‘No Shave, No lipstick. It was written there that more than 80% girls don’t like man with stubble or beard.

And these women have started a movement which they are calling, ‘No Shave, No Lipstick Movement’. Many divas of bollywood have associated themselves with this ‘No Shave, No Lipstick Movement, they say that man look best when ‘clean-shaven’, and unless man shave daily, they won’t wear lipstick.

I find this issue worth discussing, for I feel, in today’s time where relationship between man and woman are hitting the bottom rock every now and then, it would be worth while to make a conscious effort to understand the complexity of the matter which is accountable for more than 90% problems in the world.

Here, I would like to shed light on two vital points, First, it might be shocking for you to know but, if you ask a psychologist, they would say, women with this sort of mindset (where they like well-groomed man), are either lesbian or sexually perverted, because knowingly or unknowingly, their unconscious interest is in the women only, They are not attracted in opposite sex, more or less, they are interested in the same sex.

There are woman whom you would find behaving like man, they prefer to dress like man, and they chose the same career option which men chose. And, in it’s enthusiasm to out perform men, they adopt all kind of stupid things from man, they smoke, they drink and abuse. In addition to all these, they even start feeling and thinking like man. And, in long run, they become nothing but ‘A-Second-Grad-Man’. They think this पागलपन is growth, but, it is any thing but growth. In fact, it is degradation.

Here, it will be helpful to know that, difference between man and woman is not of quality but of quantity. No man is absolutely man and vice versa. In every man something of woman exists and so is the case with woman.

Second thing which I would like to bring to notice is, its not that only women think that man look best when clean-shaven; even most men (it would be right to call them Second-Grad-Woman) believe that they look their best when clean-shaven, and start decorating themselves like woman.

This is really a neurotic society; here a woman is respected and accepted only when she becomes ‘Second-Grad-Man’. And this ‘पागलपन’ is known as women-emancipation-movement.

In a healthy society, woman would be respected as woman; they would be loved and cared as they are. A woman should grow as woman, because only then, she can flower, and have satisfaction in life.

Woman and man should look as different as possible, but yes, there should not be any discrimination, they both are ultimate manifestation of nature, nobody is lesser or higher. In the name of change, we are killing the beauty of life. No change is needed, only growth is required. What we do in the name of change..., we just shift prisoners from one jail to another.

Healthy mind is attracted to opposite only. Attraction is always between to opposite poles. Man and woman both are beautiful; there is no need for a woman to be like man. Why should they…? What is lacking in them….?

Last thing, who tells these ugly women to color their lips with lipstick…... to have natural read-lips, is one thing, but to color them with lipstick is sick, only sick woman does so.

At the end, I would like to repeat......, those women who are interested in clean-shaven man are Lesbian, and those men who are interested in these Second-Grad-Woman, are Gay..!

मैं ‘चाँदमारा’ हूँ ...!

‘चाँदमारा’ पता नहीं क्यों...इस शब्द से मेरा बड़ा मोह हैं, पिछले कई महीने से अक्सर मुझे इसकी गूँज अपने भीतर सुनाई देती है। मुझे ठीक-ठीक याद नहीं कि पहली बार मैंने इसे कहाँ सुना था, सुना भी था कि नहीं ये भी ठीक से याद नहीं। लेकिन कुछ तो है जिसकी वजह से इस शब्द का इतना आकर्षण है मेरे लिए।

मेरे ख्याल से ‘चाँदमारा’ का अर्थ पागल होता है और शायद यही मेरे इस शब्द से प्रेम कि वजह भी है, क्योंकि मुझे पागलों से एक विशेष लगाव है, उनकी सहजता मुझे आकर्षित करती है। अभी तक मौका नहीं मिला है लेकिन उनको करीब से देखने और समझने की इच्छा सदा से मेरे अंदर रही है। कई बार मैंने पागलखाने जा कर उन्हे देखने कि बात सोची है।

जीतना आत्मिक लगाव मुझे पागलों से है उतान ही शराबी और प्रेमी से भी है, मुझे इन सब मे कुछ-कुछ एक जैसा लगता है, इनकी मस्ती मुझे हमेशा से आंदोलित करती रही है।

मैंने हमेशा से मस्ती को होश का पर्यायवाची माना है। “मेरी नज़र में वो रिंद ही नहीं साक़ी, जो मस्ती और होश मे इंतियाज़ करे…”

गूगल पे भी मैंने इसका अर्थ खोजा, चाँदमारा तो नहीं मिला लेकिन ‘चाँदमारी’ मिला जिसका अर्थ होता है बंदूक का निशाना लगाने का अभ्यास। खोज के दौरान ही मुझे दिनेश कुमार शुक्ल जी की एक खूबसूरत कविता पढ़ने का मौका मिला जिसमे उन्होने बड़ी खूबसूरती के साथ ‘चाँदमारी’ को अपनी कविता मे पिरोया है, उनकी कविता है, “आज दिन भर सूरज तकली पर धागो सी किरनें काता किया, हवा अपने तरकश के पुरवाये-पछुवाये तीर फेंकती रही, आदमी के सीने-सी एक दिवार ने खूब लोहा पिया खूब सीसा पिया, आज यहाँ जम करके ‘चाँदमारी’”

‘चाँदमरा’ से मेरे प्रेम का एक और कारण है, वो है मेरे और चाँद के बीच की प्रीति (वैसे मैं आपको बता दूँ ‘प्रीति’ शब्द से भी मुझे बड़ी गहरी प्रीति है, इसकी चर्चा हम कभी बाद मे करेंगे),……..

चाँद से मेरा प्रेम बहुत पुराना है, आज भी मुझे याद है बचपन के वो दिन, जब, खुले आँगन मे खाट पे लेटा....अतरंगी गीत गाते हुए घंटो जागा चाँद को निहारा करता था,….. सावन के दिनो मे जब आकाश मे छिटपुट बादल होते थे, तो बादलो की ओट मे छिपे चाँद को लूका-छिपी खेलते देख कर ऐसा लगता था जैसे चाँद हमारे साथ चल रह हो, जहाँ भी जाता ऐसा लगाता वो साथ चल रहा हैं। पूरे गाँव मे बाढ़ का पानी भरा होता था,....., हम सब भाई-बहन रात छत पर बैठ कर….कांपती लहरों पे हिंडोले लेते चाँद को कंकरो से निशाना बनाते रहते थे,..... दिन मे खपरा इकठ्ठा करते थे, और रात जब घर के सब लोग सो जाते थे, तब हम लोग पानी की सतह पर खपरा उछाल कर पूरी बनाने का खेल खेलते थे, एक दूसरे से पुछते थे, ‘कितनी पूरी चाहिए तुम्हें’।...(इस से जियादा अब और याद नहीं कर सकता मैं बचपन को, मेरा रोने का मन कर कर रहा है,....Let me cry….)….! हज़ार-हज़ार तारों की बारात के बीच ये चमकता दूल्हा मुझे बचपन से प्रीतिकर रहा है....!

अंत मे, अगर चाँदमारा का अर्थ पागल होता है तो, " मैं चाँदमारा हूँ"

Nobody Knows Who is Who...!!!

I want to insult your intelligence by telling you some of the most elementary things that exist and you don’t notice, the first thing which I would like to bring to your notice is the issue of identity crisis....A Indian poet has phrased this as, " Ek ek Aadmi ke hain bees bees chehren, jitni baar milta hoon ek naye aadmi se milta hoon."
Generally, we all pretend to be somebody else than we are....Mr. A is is pretending as if he was Mr. B, Mr. B is pretending to be Mr. C, and Mr. C is pretending to be somebody else, but one thing is certain, no body is respected and accepted as they are....Everybody is taught and forced to be like somebody else...hence there is so much identity crisis in the world. Nobody knows who is who....
Whatever we know about ourselves is nothing but accumulation of opinions which we have gathered from others, we see ourselves through other's eyes. We don't know who we actually are. Hence, others opinion plays pivotal roll in our lives..John Dewey, one of America's most profound philosophers, said that the deepest urge in human nature is "the desire to be important", important in the eyes of others.

We are all enslaved to others opinion, an opinion can make you feel good or bad, we live on others opinion, there is a tacit understanding among people, 'I have to put flowers on your wound and you have to put on mine, this mutual understanding among people is known as social etiquette.
Aolf Hitler says in his autobiography ‘Mein Kampf, "If you repeat a lie often enough, it appears as if it was the truth." This is what has happened to us, we ourselves have forgotten our own face.
It is high time we shed our personas and got rid of our phony personality, we have to have courage to accept ourselves the way we are, otherwise we are bound to go insane, almost everybody is on the verge of going mad, study shows that in cosmopolitans three out of four are insane, most of the people have some or the other psychological problems. In big cities almost everyone finds it hard to fall asleep naturally.
Until unless we become honest with ourselves, we cannot be at ease, and I must say that honesty should be real, it must not be policy, because it is almost always that, I have seen some kind of insincerity behind the purpose of being sincere.
At the end I would like to quote Johann Wolfgang, he says," If God had wanted me otherwise, He would have created me otherwise."

My Suicide Note...!

Now, in my life, there is only one serious question, which is whether or not to commit suicide, now I don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel, and don’t find any reason for which I should wait any longer and not commit suicide.

I feel as though I am just a fluke in this world, who is running form the maternity ward to the crematorium…, I am tired of existing inside this bag of skin called body. I feel unhappy and miserable.

In past, I was very much happy with the idea of God as the potter, as the architect of the universe, it was good. It would make me feel that, after all, life is important. There is someone who cares. Life has meaning, it has sense, and I would feel valuable in the eyes of the God

But after a while, it got embarrassing, I realized that everything I do is being watched by God, He knows my tiniest innermost feelings and thoughts, I wanted to him to stop bugging me all the time. I didn’t want him around me. So I became an atheist, just to get rid of him. Then I felt terrible after that, because by getting rid of God, I felt I got rid of myself, and now, I am nothing but a machine. Why go on…?

This world appears to me nothing but unintelligent force playing around and not even enjoying it. I feel hostile to the world, I fell that world is a trap, I really don’t know how I have got caught into this electronic and neurological world, into to a body that’s falling apart, that gets cancer, it is just terrible. I feel like to commit suicide right now. I just don’t want to dangle my legs in empty space any more, I feel alienated, I feel like being left in the lurch, I fell separated from the all…what is the meaning and purpose of life….let me kill myself……???????????????

I think, at this point of time, laughter is need for me to exist. Otherwise, I will commit suicide……! Laughter is the relaxation. But tension is ﬁrst needed, and I have created enough tension by now, so, now let’s laugh together….

Chaman Lal went to the psychiatrist and asked if the good doctor couldn’t split his personality.

”Split your personality?” asked the doctor. ”Why in heaven’s name do you want me to do a thing like

that?”

”BECAUSE,” said Chaman! ”I AM SO LONESOME.”

Chaman lal had just asked his newest girlfriend to marry him. But she seemed undecided.

”If I should say no to you” she said, ”would you commit suicide?”

”THAT,” said Chaman gallantly, ”HAS BEEN MY USUAL PROCEDURE.”

एक किलो छ: सौ ग्राम का वो मुर्गा !

एक किलो छ: सौ ग्राम का वो मुर्गा !

Up-beat and Off-beat…!

अगर आप किसी खूबसूरत लड़की के घुटनो पर अपना हाथ रख कर छोड़ दे, वो जल्दी ही वो भूल जायेगी की अपने अपना हाथ उसके घुटनो पर रखा है, लेकिन अगर आप उसके घुटनो को थपथपाने लगते तो she will know that you are very much there and interested in her.

हमारा ध्यान सिर्फ अप-बीट को ही नोटिस करता है, हम अंतराल, अंधेरा, नीरवता/चुप्पी या ऑफ को ignore कर देते है। हमारा mind जिसे हम conscious attention कहते है अंतराल को नोटिस नहीं करता है जबकि मजा ये है की बैगेर ऑफ-बीट के हम अप-बीट को महसूस नहीं कर सकतें है।

Fear of unknown….!

‘एक किलो छ: सौ ग्राम का वो मुर्गा’ काटे जाने के बाद एक किलो सौ ग्राम का ही रह गया था । अभी मुंबई मे मुर्गे की कीमत 98 rupees per kg है, होली के बाद से दाम मे कुछ इज़ाफ़ा हुआ है वो ‘हलाल-shop’ वाला बता रहा था की हर साल होली मे मुर्गो की कीमत बढ़ जाती और हमारे देश की जनसंख्या की तरह एक बार बढ़ने के बाद फिर कम नहीं होती है……चमनलाल से वकील साहेब ने पूछा, ‘चाम्मू जी आपकी उम्र कितनी है’, ‘जी मैं चालीस साल का हूँ’, ‘लेकिन दो साल पहले जब आप यहाँ आए थे, तब भी आपने अपनी उम्र चालीस साल ही बताई थी...ये मामला क्या है ?’, ‘साहेब, मड़वाडी की जुबान है एक बार जो कह दिया सो कह दिया, दो साल क्या चार साल बाद भी मैं अपनी बात पर कायम रहूँगा’।

इस देश के लोग छिपकीली की तरह अपना रंग बदलने मे भरोसा नहीं रखते है, जो गरीब है उसको जीवन भर गरीब ही बने रहना है,,,,,,,और जो अमीर है उसके साथ भी यही मामला है चाहे लाख फजीहत होती हो अमीर बने रहने मे....पर उन्हे टीके रहना है, वो कुमार विश्वास की एक लाइन है न, “जमाने और सदी इस बदल मे हम नहीं बदले”। जो जहाँ है वहीं चिपके रहना चाहता है, हाँ बात-चीत चलती रहती है बदलाब की पर हक़ीक़त यही है की हम सब बदलाब से डरते है, रवीन्द्र नाथ ने अपनी एक कविता में लिखा है कि एक आदमी बड़ी शिद्दत से भगवान को खोजने मे लगा हुआ है, वीरह मे तड़पता है, पागलों कि भाँति व्याकुल रहता है प्रभु मिलन के लिए और एक दिन जब उसकी प्रथना सुनली जाती है और पहुँचता है प्रभु के द्वार पर, अब बस द्वार को खोलने कि जरूरत थी, तो वह कुछ देर ठिठक कर द्वार को देखता है, और पैर सिर पर रख कर भाग जाता है वहाँ से, फिर सब जगह ढूँढता है पर वहाँ दुबारा नहीं जाता है।

मैंने मन बना लिया था की आज मुझे मुर्गे को अच्छे से मरते हुए देखना है,…… उसने छुरी से मुर्गे का गला रेता और प्लास्टिक की एक ड्राम जो ऊपर से आधी कटी थी उस मे डाल दिया, मैं ड्रम के नजीक गया और अंदर झाँक कर उसे तड़पता हुआ देखने लगा, उछल कर ड्रम के मुँह तक आ जाता था उसके सफ़ेद पंख उसी के खून से लाल हो गया था, खून के कुछ छींटे मेरे ऊपर भी आ गिरे थे, थोड़ी देर फरफरने के बाद शांत हो गया, फिर बेचने वाले ने उसके पंख उतार दिया और छोटे-छोटे टुकरे करके एक काले पोलोथीन मे डाल कर कर हमे पकड़ा दिया और हमने उसे एक सफेद थैली मे रख कर घर लेके आगए !

बड़ी देर से बैठा सोच रहा हूँ क्या लिखूँ, दिल कर रहा है कि कुछ नया लिखूँ, पर नया क्या ..... सूरज के नीचे ऐसा कुछ भी तो नहीं जो पहले कभी हुआ नहीं ! सोंचता हूँ कि क्यों न मैं खुद को लिखू ,खुद को तुम से कहूँ, क्योंकि मैं मानता हूँ मेरे खुद से जियादा अभिनव और अनुपम कोई नहीं ...... मेरे बाद अगर कोई मेरी तरह अभिनव और अनुपम है तो वो ‘तुम’ हो, हम दोनों एक दूसरे के परिपूरक है न तो तुम मेरे बिना हो सकते हो और न ही तुम्हारे बिना मेरा कोई अस्तित्व है ! और इसलिए मैं खुद को तुमसे कहूँगा.........इससे पहले कि मैं खुद को तुम से कहूँ, तुम्हें खुद मे कुछ तब्दीलियाँ लानी होगी, अन्यथा मैं कहुगा कुछ और तुम समझोगे कुछ और ! जब तक तुम भी खुद को मेरी तरह अनोखे नहीं जान लेते हो, हमारी बात-चीत मुश्किल है !मेरा ज़ोर यहाँ ‘जानने’ पर है न कि मानने पर, जहाँ तक मान्यता का सवाल है हम सब ने पहले से ही खुद को खास मान रखा है, पर सिर्फ मान लेने भर से बात नहीं बनेगी इस मान्यता को अनुभव बनाना होगा ! अगर मैं अभी खुद को तुम से कह भी दूँ तो इस बात कि पूरी संभावना हैं कि तुम चूक जाओगे…. बात यहीं पर समाप्त नहीं होगी इससे जियादा की भी संभावना है क्योंकि मैंने सुना है “खुदा अपनी खुदाई में जब भी आया मिट गया, ‘अनलहक़’ जिसने कहा वो बोटी-बोटी कट गया ”

पहले भी कई बार मैंने खुद को तुमसे कहने कि पूरकश कोशिश की पर चाह कर भी खुद को तुम्हारे सामने अभिवत्क्त नहीं कर सका, हमेशा जानकारी हम दोनों के बीच चीन की दीवाल बनकर कर खड़ी हो गई !

आज मेरी गुजारिश सुनो लो, गिरा दो जानकारी की दीवाल को, थोड़ी देर के लिए बुद्धि को किनारे रख दो क्योंकि इसकी कोई जरूरत नहीं है तुम्हें मेरे साथ कोई व्यपार नहीं करनी है ! तुम्हें मुझे जानना हैं न कि मेरे ‘बारे’ मे या फिर मुझसे वाबस्ता चीजों के बाबत । अगर मुझे अपने ‘बारे’ मे ही तुम्हें बताना होता तो फिर इतनी तैयारी करने कि कोई जरूरत ही न थी, लेकिन नहीं मुझे आज खुद के बारे मे नहीं, बल्कि खुद को तुमसे कहना है !

मेरे साथ कुछ पल के लिए सहज हो जाओ, मैं तुम मैं उत्सुक हूँ न कि तुमसे जुड़ी बातों मे, इसीलिए खुद को जितना हल्का कर सकते हो कर लो, जैसे हो वैसे हो जाओ, ये अपनी जाती-प्रमाण-पत्र वगैरह को अलग रखो, जाती प्रमाण-पत्र ही क्यों सब प्रमाण-पत्रो को फाड़ के फेक दो, तुम्हें खुद को मेरे सामने किसी माध्यम के जरिये सवित करने कि कोई जरूरत नहीं है, सारे मुखौटों को हटा तो !

अगर तैयारी पूरी हो गई हो तो गुफ्तगू शुरू करे है ? मैं तुम्हें बता नहीं सकता कि मैं कितना खुश हूँ ...! सच कहता हूँ बड़ा मज़ा आएगा ! लेट्स स्टार्ट !

आँख बंद कर लेते हैं क्योंकि सब मुखौटा तो हट ही चुका अब देखने को बचा ही क्या! साँसो को ढीला छोड़ दो, शरीर से अपनी पकड़ छोड़ दो, अंदर चल रहे विचारों की ट्राफिक को तथस्ट हो कर बस देखो उनके साथ उलझो मत, अभी उनकी हमे कोई जरूरत नहीं है !

ये जो अदृश्य घुंघरू की खनक सुनाई दे रही है तुम्हें यही मेरी आवाज़ है, इसे ध्यान से सुनो, और ये जो तुम्हें शांति की आल्हाद पूर्ण अनुभव हो रही है यही मेरी उपस्थिति है, इसे महसूस करो !

इस क्षण मे जो ‘तुम’ हो वही हूँ ‘मैं’….! हम इस अस्तित्व की अनुपम अभिव्यक्ति है, आओ इक क्षण को अस्तित्व से एक हो जाये!

आओ साथ मिल कर अपने इस अनुभव का उद्घोष करतें है...अनलहक़ ! अनलहक़ ! अनलहक़ !!!

This शतक of Sachin is a tight slap in the face of his critics who had been wagging their tongue against him for long.

There was time when love used to be the most euphoric, ecstatic and an overwhelming joy one could ever experience in his/her life. Being in love was enough unto itself, no assertion of any kind was required, but now everything seems to have turned Topsy-turvy, man seems to have become incapable of giving and partaking love, now heart is not more than a symbiotic part of body, therefore, for the first time in the history of human conciseness, an investigation into it has become an absolute necessity. Before one ventures deep (I would rather call this skin-deep, because more than that is beyond our capacity) into it, it has become prerequisite to know what one is being loved for……?
With people loving anything and everything, it is absolutely natural to doubt the varsity of the word ‘LOVE’, I don’t think that the word ‘love’ any more is a sacred word; now it falls in the category of four-letter-words.
No body bothers about what you are; everybody is interested in what you have and vice versa! ‘Being’ has become a thing of past, now ‘having’ is all that is there. So plz keep accumulating as much as you can unless you get crushed under your own accumulations.

Thanatos !

Freudian psychology says people are driven by tow central desires: Libido-Craving for life and thanotos- craving for death. The former can easily be experienced and seen, but due to ordinary perception that thinking of death is sick, it is bit rare to see somebody thinking of death (until unless one is suffering for some chronicle disease or is under some kind of depression or frustration), this common perception is so strong that even when it comes to a case of euthanasia, the matter become a complex global issue for debate as to whether or not euthanasia is ethical, and the interesting thing is that it is debated for longer than the life of ailing one. Why is death still a taboo topic in our civilized society?

Now the question that I would like to raise is why we don’t accept death as an indispensable and necessary condition of life? As far as euthanasia is concerned I don’t find it hard to understand why politicians and our Moral brigade make hue and cry over the issue…., a society where one is not allowed to live freely how can be allowed to die freely….. It is impossible to respect death without respecting life.

But the question which haunts me is why there is so much longing for living long. Ananda Coomarswamy once said that he would rather die ten years too early than then minutes too late.

Plus Ca Change, Plus C'est La Même Chose!

Ever since new government has been formed in UP, I have been wondering what change it will bring to the life of ordinary people in UP..? I always wonder whether change in government results in an improvement in situation? There is a French proverb plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose- the more things change, the more they stay the same. I don’t think the life of ordinary people will see any change in UP.

There is no denial to the fact that it will bring some technical progress, but then the question is whether technical progress gets anywhere in the sense of increasing the delight and happiness of life.

Moreover, isn’t it in a bid to solve one problem, technology creates thousands new problems…..?

Neither this nor that..!

The famous American poet Robert Lee Frost writes in his beautiful poetry ‘The Road Not Taken’, “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both.” Having read this thought provoking line from the poem, I wondered if it is only Frost who is sorry for not being able to travel both, or we all are sorry for not being able to travel both…? Isn’t our lives split into two, regretting about the past which is no more and planning for the future (projection of past) which has not come yet (God knows if it will ever come, for that which comes is never future).

Aristotelian logic says, “either A or not-A; not third option.” And I think Aristotle (means Mind, because to me he is nothing but mind) is absolutely right, for we are always confused with either this…or that…., always at the cross road, wondering which path to travel on, never absolute about anything, always confused with what to do and what not to do, what is right and what is wrong….always regretting about past and wondering what if I had traveled on that road…., what if I had not chosen this….?

Now the question is, is there any way out……? Can one jump out of this vicious circle of either this (good/right)….or that (bad/wrong)….? Is there any life which exists beyond the life of Aristotle and Soren Kierkegaard…..?

Can we attain to the state of absolute clarity…a state of absolute choicelessness, a state of Neither this….nor that….नेति-नेति......? What would be the state of total relaxation…..?
