Pedophiles seek recognition: aftermath of legalising gay relationships

This is a new development and it stems from the fact that 50 states in USA recently passed a law legalising gay relationships.

In their defence, they are saying that their sexual orientation and desire for children is no different from heterosexuals and homosexuals. It is noteworthy that Pedophilia has already been granted protected status by the US federal government which classifies them as a 'protected class'

Linda Harvey, of Mission America, said the push for pedophiles to have equal rights will become more and more common as LGBT groups continue to assert themselves. “It’s all part of a plan to introduce sex to children at younger and younger ages; to convince them that normal friendship is actually a sexual attraction.”

Well I ask, after this what next? Legalise incestuous relationship? Legalise beastality? Afterall they can all be defined as a 'sexual orientation' which psychologists claim cannot be changed?
This begs the question, "where does the society draw the line between right and wrong?"

About last night: my birthday recap

Last night was memorable. I have the very best kind of people as friends. So much effort was put in just to give me a permanent grin which I carried to bed.

Amazing music, tasty cakes, spicy assorted meats and drinks were the highlight of my night. There was rain but it didn't dampen any spirit and everybody had a swell time.
At the end of the night, when the make up came off and the light was dimmed, I slept off while counting my blessings..
Thank you so much my friends for making my birthday memorable.

Really wish I could post pictures but then I have to get individual permission from each and everybody before I can plaster their pictures on a blog.. lol. All in all, it was a day well spent. The love was just too much.

Its been so long since I came here. Believe me its not because of lack of what to post rather its as a result of the huge amount of info to disseminate that I was overwhelmed by it all.

Where do I start?

Is it the fact that our country is now the host to a dreaded disease called EBOLA! and because of this, resumption of Primary and Secondary Schools across the nation has been postponed till 15th of October (although i hear this instruction is being reviewed as you read)

or the fact that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his wife are headed to the divorce courts
or the fact that Boko Haram have taken over Gwoza and more recently Bara town and declared them Islamic Caliphates
or that Big Brother Africa (Hotshot) has been cancelled indefinitely due to fire outbreak at the studio *tears*

Well, its not all bad news, there has been celebrations too eg its raining new born babies!!

All in all, i missed being here, i missed blogging, and hopefully, this time, im back for good ;)

A Kuwaiti court sentenced a man to two years in prison for insulting the country’s ruler on Twitter, a lawyer following the case said, as the Gulf Arab state cracks down on criticism of the authorities on social media.

According to the verdict on Sunday, published by online newspaper Alaan, a tweet written by Rashid Saleh al-Anzi in October “stabbed the rights and powers of the Emir” Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah.
Anzi, who has 5,700 Twitter followers, was expected to appeal, the lawyer, who asked not to be named, told Reuters.

Kuwait, a U.S. ally and major oil producer, has been taking a firmer line on politically sensitive comments aired on the Internet.
In June 2012, a man was sentenced to 10 years in prison after he was convicted of endangering state security by insulting the Prophet Mohammad and the Sunni Muslim rulers of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain on social media.

Two months later, authorities detained Sheikh Meshaal al-Malik Al-Sabah, a member of the ruling family, over remarks on Twitter in which he accused authorities of corruption and called for political reform, a rights activist said.

While public demonstrations about local issues are common in a state that allows the most dissent in the Gulf, Kuwait has avoided Arab Spring-style mass unrest that toppled three veteran Arab dictators last year.
But tensions have intensified between the hand-picked government, in which ruling family members hold the top posts, and the elected parliament and opposition groups.

UNN Repping: Prof. Francisca Okeke wins UNESCO'S $100,000 prize

A Nigerian professor at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN, Francisca Okeke has won the 2013 laureate award for her contributions “to the understanding of daily variations of the ion currents in the upper atmosphere which may further our understanding of climate change.”

A second Nigerian award recipient, Dr Eucharia Nwaichi, an environmental bio-chemist from the University of Port Harcourt, joined 15 other young scientists in the “International Fellows” category.
Okeke, who is the first female Head of Department, Education Management, UNN, bagged the prize of $100,000 as one of the winners of the 2013 L’Oréal-UNESCO awards in Physical Sciences.

In a statement, UNESCO said Okeke has made the study of the ionosphere her lifetime work. The ionosphere lies between 50km and 1000km above the earth surface.
“A very thick layer of charged particles, the ionosphere produces changes in the magnetic field on earth’s surface that affect the planet in a host of ways. Her research could lead to a better understanding of climate change and help pinpoint sources of dramatic phenomena like tsunamis and earthquakes”, a summary of her research published by UNESCO read.

The awards were announced last year October, but the award ceremony took place last weekend in Paris.
She was the only recipient in that category from Africa and the Arab nations and the third Nigerian Laureate since the UNESCO-L’Oreal partnership was established in 1998. Professor Okeke got a prize of $100,000.

Four others also got awards in the Laureate category with each representing Europe, Latin America, North America and the Asia Pacific regions.
UK Scientist Professor Pratibha Gai of York University won the 2013 European Laureate award. She was recognized for “ingeniously modifying her electron microscope so that she was able to observe chemical reactions occurring at surface atoms of catalysts which will help scientists in their development of new medicines or new energy sources.

Bukola Vs Foluke & Kayode: Pimping Gone Wrong

First of all, introduction!

Bukola Fasuyi: A lady journalist; the pimp
Foluke Daramola: A Nigerian actress; the pimpee
Kayode Salako: A bored married man; the bone of contention

Bukola's Story:

“Foluke is an ungrateful element to me. I actually introduced her to Kayode, who, for a very longtime was my toaster but I told him I could not date him because I was not really interested and there was really no feeling for him. I told him I was not really interested because I was in a relationship. About the same time, Foluke had asked me to introduce her to someone who could help, so I introduced Kayode to her.

I know he spends a lot on women, at least, he was dating a lady Princess Bimbo Olagunju, and he was spending so much to keep the girl. The same Princess knew how much Kayode liked me but I was not interested.

So precisely February 13, 2012, I introduced Foluke to Kayode at Mama’s Place in Omole, Ikeja. I remember that I met Kayode during the hey days of Fasholamania, his campaign project for Governor Babatunde Fashola. I believed in the project and I knew he was committed to it not because he was getting any money.

Anyway, Kayode and Foluke met, they were supposed to date each other but I never advised her to go and destroy Kayode’s home built over 15 years. I know Kayode dated Princess Abimbola currently in Dublin, but she never ventured to destroy his home. They dated for about five years, yes, the wife knew, the heat was so much. They had issues about that but it never got to marrying him and sending his wife away.

Princess knew Kayode wanted me, she knew I could displace her but I remained his friend. But because he was always telling us about his home, the areas his wife failed, Foluke worked on it and the result is the marriage which I advised her not to go into.

I have conscience, fine as a friend, I wanted the best for my friend (Foluke), but I know she threatened the home of Kayode, she was calling him at home at odd times, telling him how much she loved him. The next day after they met, he sent N100, 000, that week, he sent more money, about N500,000. The money came at a time Foluke had accommodation problem in Marwa’s Garden, so he secured an apartment for her.

“At a point, I called Foluke that why had Kayode’s wife barely left her home that you started to sleep in his Omole house? I tried to advise her that she should not marry the guy, that all she should do was get his assistance; I told her she should put herself in the wife’s shoes. Since she realised I was advising her, she withdrew from me, she started to avoid me. Yes, he was having issues with his wife but that was not enough to move in.

On few occasions, he insisted he was still in love with his wife. I strongly advised her against such moves but she went ahead with the marriage plans. I remember that even while dating Foluke, he had issues with her, he complained about her lifestyles, that she was a fraudster bla, bla, but as a true friend I have to step in. Kayode had wanted to go away.

Yes, I know all she did that the marriage eventually came up, I was actually going with her to those places, yes, we went together and I’m waiting for her response and if she responds or denies my claim, then I will go all out to fight her.

I’m ready to release all the pictures of the places we went together. I’m fighting her because she does not have conscience at all, I’m fighting her because she’s a desperado, I’m fighting her because she’s an ungrateful element. I never collected any money for introducing her to Kayode, ask her if I did but I told her ‘don’t marry this guy, think about his home.’

‘‘Now I’m worried, my conscience is troubling me, I’m worried about the fact that I was indirectly or directly involved in the circumstance that led to the break of Kayode’s marriage. I don’t think Foluke should have gone this far, there are many factors involved, it was not ordinary and I want to tell the world that she does not deserve that man, I want to tell the world that I’m sorry that I did this to him and his family.

I never advised Foluke to marry him; I just wanted him to help her out of her stormy life. I owe Kayode’s wife an apology and I know that I will go to her and say sorry soon. But before then, I owe it a duty to tell the world Foluke does not deserve Kayode and as the friend that introduced her to him, I’m sorry.

Yes, the wife made some mistakes too; I’m putting all these in a book I’m writing soon. It’s not enough for you to decline the advice or suggestions of your husband on how he wants you as his wife to dress. Why should the wife turn the hubby’s invitation to go out together down? Her claim that she’s a pastor and not cut out to live a life in the social circuit leaves room for the other women to step in.

For Kayode, he got carried away, he loves the fact that Foluke brings him to spotlight, that makes him a newsmaker of sorts.

Kayode's Reply:

"Bukola is a devil’s agent and please don’t mind her. Yes, she introduced Foluke to me but she should step aside now that we are married. She claimed Foluke is using juju on me, but you know what? If that is true, I, Kayode Salako will know. I’m a real man. But if truly she’s using Juju, I need more of her juju, you know why, she has added value, brought me a lot of blessings.

Yes, when I came back from abroad, I met Bukola, then I was lonely, my life was boring and we met. I liked her because she was so passionate about my Fasholamania’s project, she showed a lot of enthusiasm and we got so close, it was at a time my wife was very boring, so I asked her out, but she declined. She told me that she liked me but she would not date me for two reasons: one that her intentions will be misconstrued, two, it will be a burden on her that she will love me to the extent that she would love to marry me but that she had a friend, an actress, that she’s different from the pack. She gave her name as Foluke Daramola. Really, I never believed her that she could introduce Foluke to me. She’s one of the very few actresses I admired.

Eventually, we met at Mama’s Place. Shortly after she called Foluke to join us and she did. We had fun, wined and dined together. That was all that night. The rest as they say is history. I don’t know why she’s into this campaign of calumny now. Why call Foluke names? What has she done to her? If Foluke is into juju, she should be a millionaire like some of her colleagues whose lifestyles are well known to us. I met Foluke a poor girl with her sanity and pride intact. I don’t know what she wants from all these. Foluke’s life is an open book and I like it. I have taken my decision and the action to live the rest of my life with Foluke and I’m ready to face the consequences of my action.

Foluke's Reply:

"I have chosen not to talk but I respect you and your medium and I want to assure you that at the appropriate time, I will grant you an interview. Yes, Bukola came to me, she told me about her project and that she needed money. She believed I have so much that I should be given her now. But there is one thing about me; my life is an open book. I will not respond more than that. Let her go ahead with her tales. I know I have done no wrong. I appreciate the fact that she introduced me to Kayode but that does not mean she has to continue to call the shot. It’s just important she steps aside now that we are married. That should not hurt.”

2face Idibia's Wedding: The Ugly Side

I have always wondered why everything i have heard thus far about 2face's wedding has been from blogs. Not once have i heard any of the celebrities that attended the wedding, gush about the event, so i went digging and this is what i found;

Here is a HipHopWorld Magazine detailed report of how Tuface's Dubai wedding went down.
How it became the survival of the fittest to get on the ferry that conveyed everyone to the reception venue, infact, the ugly side of the event. Please read.

It was billed as the wedding of the year, and so it was no surprise that everybody wanted to be present there. It didn’t matter to some people whether they were invited or not. It was 2Face‘s wedding and they just had to attend. So, it ended up being a struggle.

Gate Crashers

Quite a number of people gave out their invites to friends who were overjoyed to attend even if they didn’t know Annie and 2face personally. They made it worse by coming with other friends who were equally not invited.

Screening before entry was tight but trust Nigerians to always find a way around the toughest situations.

Don Jazzy; First Class Passenger, Plate Piler

Unlike other celebrities that flew business class and some economy, Don Jazzy flew first class to Dubai and rented a Rolls Royce Phantom to Jumeriah Beach Hotel; even though he wasn’t particularly noticed by most of the guests who were in already.

TuFace & Annie’s Love Boat

After having a huge turnout of guests, things got even more interesting as it became the survival of the fittest to get on the ferry that conveyed everyone to the venue of the reception which was ‘The Royal Beach Island’.

It wasn’t easy even for 2face and Annie to get onto their own love boat. 2face who hardly ever gets angry complained bitterly about it to those already on board. “Ol’boy, Na wao, to enter my own boat na wahala, our own boat o”.

The workers on the boat kept shouting “Move back, you will die”; scared that people might fall inside the water as they tried to force their way in.

Twice Senator Florence Ita Giwa tried to get in but she was pushed back. The organizers begged her for patience as they tried to get her on board but it didn’t work. There was nothing like VIP entry into the boat.

She later went home. After all, she lives like a queen in her beautiful house in Dubai. Wunmi Obe also could not attend the Beach Island reception as she could not get into the boat

Clueless Organizers

They may have successfully organized big weddings but 2face and Annie Idibia’s wedding organizers should have known that this particular wedding would be a different kettle of fish altogether. A handful of fans came from different parts of the world believing they would get in and they did.

One member of the organising team, Naomi Adenuga was very rude to guests.

“I don’t care if you are a dignitary or celebrity, get off the boat”, she shouted; insisting on the black card which was distributed at the venue to their own friends and people as the new authentic invite to the boat; ignoring many invited guests that flew in with their own money.

The Grand Reception

As guests arrived at the Royal Beach Island, they were quick to forget all the struggling they encountered trying to get on the ferry; as the ambience at the venue of the reception reminded you of a fairy tale movie.

Guests were treated to drinks of all kinds before the arrival of the couple. There was enough to eat and drink as host Basketmouth cracked everyone up; apologising for the ‘not-so-sexy’ boat ride. He also promised that the reception would live up to all expectations and it sure did.

When time for food came, guests had to wait until they were invited table by table to the buffet.

Music was by none other than veteran DJ Jimmy Jatt and guests danced like dancing was running out of fashion.

Busy Doing Nothing

P-Square should have been there to sing “Busy Body” for some celebrities who just hung around looking lost. Some of them were Jim Ikye, Ini Edo and Susan Peters to name a few...

Ariyo, the Godfather

He may be 2face’s friend, but Ariyi Emami simply played the role of Godfather throughout the wedding. We gathered that he sponsored the island reception and that was just one of the many other things he paid for.

A popular igbo adage states that: 'aha onye n'edu ya' which means 'your name guides your destiny'

This adage has proven to be true as today, the life of a 27 year old student based in portharcourt, Ebube Essien Garrick was completely transformed.

The name 'Ebube' means 'wonder' and so it came to pass that she became the proud winner of an aeroplane in the MTN Ultimate Wonder Promo which ended today.

According to an announcement made on MTN Nigeria's official Facebook page which reads:

The Naira, yesterday, fell for a second day as oil companies were said to have refrained from selling dollars in the market.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), upped foreign exchange at the first of its bi-weekly WDAS to $150 million. Like the last auction where the CBN sold all $50 million on offer, the entire $150 million on offer was sold yesterday as the Naira depreciated marginally by 0.01% to close at N155.75/US$ at the official window.

The Nigerian communication commission has ordered all telecommunication operators to stop all promotions and lotteries with immediate effect. This was contained in a statement signed by Tony Ojobo, the Director of Public Affairs of the Commission.

According to the statement, the commission said it has received complains from consumers against the various promotions offered by telecommunications operators.

There is a copy of the statement issued yesterday but I didn't bother reading it cos all could think of is "they just killed my dream of winning the MTN aeroplane"!!!!

Nooo!!! please don't take away my aeroplane! :'(

This is not a cool story!
This is a cause for alarm!

Three days ago, I stumbled across a pix on the internet that made me question the existence of human conscience

In the pix, a little girl has what is obviously a grown man's penis stuffed into her mouth!

During further research on the matter, I learnt that the girl is 4 from Botswana, the alleged owner of the penis is 30 and presently in police custody and the father of the child is asking for him to be released so that he can be castrated.

This is just too much for me!!!
