…….and then armed with that bait….

that early bird should get the fish.

and this morning Nelsonian fisherman

were taking full advantage of the low early morning tide to get to spots

they normally wouldn’t be able to.

However if you don’t want to have to find out yourself where they are biting….there are other options.

Men and Cars…

For some men its the shed…

for others its fishing, but for a good bunch of others its restoring older model cars, to their former glory

and see… living in Nelson, where you probably save at least 30 minutes or more per day on the “daily commute”…..well it just gives you spare time for those “:other things” you like to do.

this start of a new week here in NZ, we had a public holiday yesterday that’s why.

That bunch of homes you see there across Tasman Bay is about 35kms away.

For bearings, In about the middle of the photo is in the general area around Torlesse Drive,& Talisman Heights, Kaiteriteri.

No, I don’t know what he’s doing either…

driving back from a visit to the council this afternoon

and I glanced out seaward along Wakefield Quay…

“come again….” I said to myself….that doesn’t look right…..usually the Nelson <-> Kateriteri <-> Abel Tasman ferry docks here at the pontoon (as you see in the photo) but no today she was on a different mission…and when I looked a little closer….

….. sure enough it definitely wasn’t right.
