In Antarctica's ice-covered Weddell Sea, a unique and previously unknown ecosystem covering an area the size of Malta has been discovered, home to 60 million fish. A fascinating discovery reveals that little is known about the depths of the sea. Considered to be the largest in the world, the gigantic colony contains the amazing icefish (Neopagetopsis ionah) with a transparent skull and transparent blood. Icefish are the only vertebrates that do not have red blood cells.
In order to survive at such low temperatures, we have developed a floating protein that stops the growth of ice crystals in clear blood. The
breeding colony was discovered in February 2021 by the German polar research ship Polarstern, which was surveying the seabed about half a kilometer below the ship. A car-sized camera system attached to the stern of the vessel was used to transmit video to the deck while towed. An expedition focused on the

Some nests contain only eggs, some are unused.

The nests are evenly spaced across the sea bed.

"The distance between nests is equal to the distance between birds on a telephone line," Postlethwaite added via email. “Some animals like to be sociable, but there are limits. Congregating may give them advantages for finding mates but provides a rich point source for predation."
The fish appear to be attracted by an area of warmer water, which is around 2 degrees Celsius warmer than the surrounding sea bed, which is a chilly 0 degrees Celsius, said Purser. (Sea water freezes at a lower temperature than fresh water.)
The researchers have deployed two camera systems to monitor the icefish nests until a research vessel returns. The hope is that photographs will catch more details about the fish nest ecosystem. While the Weddell Sea is covered with sea ice all year round, the ice is relatively thin three feet thick meaning that photosynthesis can still take place and life can thrive. Purser said the bottom of the Weddell Sea is far from barren, where sea sponges, corals, octopuses and starfish lurk along the seabed. He said about 2,000 seals also live in the area, and although there is no solid evidence, it is possible that they will dive into breeding areas and eat smelt.
Purser says there are similar nesting freshwater fish species, but scientists "have never seen such colonies in the deep sea."

Although diabetes itself is a big enough health problem, the side effects are also ominous. For example, one-third of the new cases of end-stage kidney disease are the result of diabetes. Four out of five patients will die – not from diabetes itself, but from cardiovascular disease (heart attack, stroke, or peripheral vascular disease) initiated by the diabetes. Diabetes is the leading cause of amputations and blindness in older people.

Diabetes mellitus has reached epidemic proportions.More than 90% of these cases are known as type-2 diabetes (formerly known as adult-onset diabetes). We must seriously consider what is going wrong. Type-one diabetes used to be called juvenile diabetes, because this type of diabetes is usually found in children and is the result of an autoimmune attack on the pancreas. Which leaves these children without any insulin and therefor they must take insulin to survive. However, there is a way to decrease the risk of developing diabetes.

Syndrome X Dr. Gerald Reavens, a physician and professor at Stanford University chose this term to describe a number of problems that have a common cause: insulin resistance. Through medical research, Dr. Reavens estimates that more than 80 million Americans have insulin resistance, or Syndrome X.

What is the common cause of developing insulin resistance? Over the years, our diet has taken its toll. Because of a high carbohydrate and high fat diet, many people have become less and less sensitive to insulin as a result.

The body desires to control our blood sugars. Therefore, when the body becomes less sensitive to its own insulin, it compensates by making more insulin. In other words, our bodies respond to increasing blood sugar levels by forcing the beta cells of the pancreas to produce more insulin in order to control our blood sugars.

Insulin is basically a storage hormone that drives sugar into the cells to be utilized or stored as fat. We know that diabetes damage from sugar occurs mainly by oxidation of fat molecules, to form toxic lipid peroxides. Insulin enables the body to deal with sugar. But people usually don’t know that insulin also controls fat and muscle.

People with insulin resistance need more and more insulin as the years go by to keep there blood sugars normal. Although these elevated insulin levels are effective in controlling our blood sugars, they also may lead to some serious health problems. Here follows a list of harmful effects caused by elevated insulin levels, called syndrome X.

The cause of Insulin Resistance There are several reasons which are suggesting why we become less and less sensitive to insulin over the years. But I truly believe that insulin resistance is the result of the Western diet. Although we are cutting back on fats, we still like to eat far too much carbohydrates. Most people don’t realize is that carbohydrates are simply long chains of sugar that the body absorbs at various rates. White bread, white flour, pasta,rice, and potatoes release their sugars into the blood stream even faster than table sugar. That’s why these foods are called high-glycemic.

Compared with foods such as green beans, Brussels sprouts, tomatoes, apples, and oranges , which release their sugars into the bloodstream much slower and are therefore considered low-glycemic foods.

When you eat too many high-glycemic foods,it causes blood sugar to rise very rapidly and stimulates the release of insulin.When our blood sugar drops, we feel hungry. So we grab a snack or have a big meal and the whole process starts all over again. After a period of time, the release of insulin has been overstimulated so often that our bodies simply become less and less sensitive to it. In order for the body to control the blood sugar levels, the pancreas need to put out higher levels of insulin. How do you know if you have Syndrome X? After a blood test, you should get the level of HDL (good) cholesterol . LDL (bad) cholesterol, and triglycerides (the other fat in the blood). If you divide the triglyceride level by the HDL cholesterol, the ratio you get is an indication of whether you are developing the syndrome. If the ratio is greater than two, you may be starting to develop Syndrome X. Also, if you notice that your blood pressure or that your waistline is increasing, it is even more likely that you are developing a serious case of Syndrome X.

How do you know if you have Syndrome X

Diagnosis of Diabetes The most common test for diabetes is a fasting blood sugar test. Physicians also use a sugar-challenge test, in which a patient is given a sugar load (a pop-like drink that is loaded with sugar), and then takes a blood sugar level test two hours later.

Most physicians believe that a two-hour blood sugar above 200 is the level to diagnose diabetes. A normal two-hour blood sugar level should be less than 110. The normal range for a hemoglobin A1C in most labs is 3.5 to 5.7. A diabetic should keep good control so that the hemoglobin A1C level remains below 6.5%. Then the risk of complications is less than 3%.

Of greater concern is the fact that at the time of actual diagnosis of diabetes, a majority (more than 60% ) of these patients already have major cardiovascular disease. This is why it is critical for physicians as soon as possible and encourage lifestyle changes that can correct the problem. A patient may have Syndrome X for many years before he truly becomes diabetic.

What could be the highest temperature ever reliably recorded on Earth - 130F (54.4C) - may have been reached in Death Valley National Park, California.

The recording is being verified by the US National Weather Service.

It comes amid a heatwave on the US's west coast, where temperatures are forecast to rise further this week.

The scorching conditions have led to two days of blackouts in California, after a power plant malfunctioned on Saturday.

What were the previous records?

Sunday's reading was recorded in Furnace Creek in Death Valley.

Before this, the highest temperature reliably recorded on Earth was 129.2F (54C) - also in Death Valley in 2013.

A higher reading of 134F, or 56.6C a century earlier, also in Death Valley, is disputed. It is believed by some modern weather experts to have been erroneous, along with several other searing temperatures recorded that summer.

According to a 2016 analysis from weather historian Christopher Burt, other temperatures in the region recorded in 1913 do not corroborate the Death Valley reading.

An 18-year-old New Jersey resident faces murder charges in the death of his neighbor and lawyers claim the violent act was committed for TikTok notoriety.

Fox News reports Zachary Latham fatally stabbed his neighbor William Durham Sr., a corrections officer, in May as the result of an ongoing conflict between both families. The teenager allegedly lured the opposing family into his home after previously filming multiple incidents between the two parties for TikTok.

Durham family lawyers claim the murder that followed the fight intentionally started to help the teen become “TikTok famous.”

One video showcasing a confrontation between Latham and Catherine Durham, the victim’s wife, reached 3 million views. According to Fox News, the video shows the teen repeatedly calling the woman a “Karen.”

Another video reportedly features Latham and Durham’s 21-year-old son, William Durham Jr. Fox News reports the video shows William Jr. attempting to open Latham’s car door. On the broadcast, the teen can be heard saying “I got a knife, dude.”

He used the caption, “Karen’s son found out the video went viral and tried taking me out of the car,” the family’s lawyers told prosecutors in a letter.

A large blast in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, has killed at least 70 people and injured more than 4,000 others, the health minister says.

Videos show smoke billowing from a fire, then a mushroom cloud following the blast at the city's port.

Officials are blaming highly explosive materials stored in a warehouse for six years.

President Michel Aoun tweeted it was "unacceptable" that 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate was stored unsafely.

An investigation is under way to find the exact trigger for the explosion. Lebanon's Supreme Defence Council said those responsible would face the "maximum punishment" possible.

Hospitals are said to be overwhelmed and many buildings have been destroyed.

President Aoun declared a three-day mourning period, and said the government would release 100 billion lira (£50.5m; $66m) of emergency funds.

A BBC journalist at the scene reported dead bodies and severe damage, enough to put the port of Beirut out of action.

Google Pixel 4 Leaked Images - Black, White, and Orange Color

New images leaked on Chinese social media platform Weibo (via Ben Geskin on Twitter) show an apparent Pixel 4 in an orange avatar alongside the previously seen black and white colorways.

One of the leaked images shows the device in black, white, and the new orange color. The Weibo tipster calls the new shade “Coral,” which is in tune with previous Pixel 4 color rumors.

We see that the new color resembles a peachy orange hue, also seen on existing Google products like the Home Mini smart speaker. The final shade could be a little different owing to the lighting conditions in which these images are taken.

The power button on the right edge is accented with a slightly lighter shade of orange. Meanwhile, the square camera bump stands out against the Coral in black. It is worth noting that “Coral” is also a known code-name for the Pixel 4, lending further credence to the leak.

Setiap hari pada jam 5 pagi, anak pasangan pasangan Jumian Simanjuntak dan Friska Sitinjak itu, berjalan 500 meter ke perhentian bas untuk ke stesen kereta api bagi memulakan kerjanya.
“Saya ambil jurusan ekonomi dan sekarang sudah semester dua.

There are two types of hackers. First one are good hackers who are known as “white hat” hackers and another one which we will be talking about today are called “black hat” hackers.
In this post, I will talk about six famous black hat hackers and their hacks which made them famous or wanted.

1. George Hotz

Young and talented and what is the most important bored teenager, George Hotz wanted to have fun one summer night and as a result he hacked the Sony’s company Iphone. It happened in June of 2007, by that time George was 17. It was a bit of a challenge, because how to hack device with assistant things? The secret is to figure out how “to speak to the device”. He also mentioned that what he did was completely legal. It seems people can be dangerous in certain way when they are bored. Who knows what may happen if crazy smart geek will find thy way of his ideas.

2. Kevin Mitnick

Kevin Mitnick is well-known as the most-wanted computer criminal in the United States. He was in high school when he started hacking. For several years he hacked dozens ofcompanies. What interesting, for those “services” he was finally arrested in 1995 at his apartment for hacking. Kevin also has served 5 years in prison, nevertheless despite of his experience he runs his own security firm named Mitnick Security Consulting. The other side of the coin is, however Mitnick published a book that calls “Ghost in Wires”, which is about his upps-and-downs, victories and crushes. He shared that every hack was like a climbing to mountain and he reached the Everest. This is one more proof how talent have pined, because of a boredom.

3. Adrian Lamo

Adrian was called as the most effective and controversial hacker of the 21st century. That is very flattering status. He was famous for breaking into several high-profile computer networks. Lamo might use his gift to help people to consult, what is actually he did, but as exception and compromise. His baby steps in hacking, Adrian Lamo made pretty early and became known for the first time for operating AOL watchdog site. As many others, he was arrested in 2003 and had to correspond for each and every computer crime.Thus, even if Lamo now works as a threat analyst and public speaker, his glory will always follow him, because our past if the part of our “present” and a part of who we are.

4. Gary McKinnon

This “black hat” McKinnon hacked into 97 United States military and NASA computers. He could be the biggest threat for government. Glasgow-born McKinnon wanted the truth to come out and show itself. In March 2002 Gary was arrested by police. “Black hat” used his hacking skills to “research” his beliefs and evidence of UFOs inexhaustible source of power, into the US government’s computers. He didn’t do that because of boredom, but because of obsession and thirst to hidden knowledge. Probably this computer crime is serious, but forgivable. Man wasn’t going to hack computer system because he was bored or to prove something, we was looking for truth no more than.

5. Jonathan James

Story of Jonathan James is sad, nevertheless his life can be compared to come t – short, but bright. In 1999 teenager at the age of 15 years old hacked into Bellsouth and Miami-Dade school network. Jonathan James damaged NASA Systems, it costed $41,000 to fix the systems. It goes without saying that he made serious damage. To stole software from NASA that worth $1.7 Million is one the biggest computer crimes. He wasn’t after information or justice, he was after money… As they say, never speak ill of the dead. Jonathan James was sentenced 6 months house arrest and banned from using computer, however that didn’t prevent him to commit suicide.

6. Kevin Poulsen

This talented “cyber-terrorists” could have great career and almost blow his chance. It seems that this hacker likes contracts and his life reflects it pretty well. He hacked into the US Department of Defense’s Arpanet. However later he worked as a consultant testing Pentagon computer security. Late on Kevin hacked FBI, after that hacked phone lines to radio station of Los Angeles… Poulsen’s life reminded American switchbacks…Certainly he was wanted by FRI and finally they caught him. Despite of such interesting past, Kevin is law-abiding citizen and has several awards of International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

The online hacktivist group Anonymous has followed through on its promise to disclose the identities of hundreds of Ku Klux Klan members.

On Monday, Anonymous vowed to release the full info dump of about 1,000 alleged Ku Klux Klan members with a chosen date of 5th of this November.

As promised, Anonymous posted a link to a Pastebin account with the names, aliases, Google Plus profiles, Facebook accounts and other identifying information of roughly 1,000 individuals the group believes are members of the Ku Klux Klan.

The hackers behind the leak tweeted a link to a Pastebin on a Twitter account, Operation KKK (@Operation_KKK) believed to be controlled by them.

Ku Klux Klan (KKK) is classified as a White Supremacist Racist group by the Anti-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center, allegedly having total 5,000 to 8,000 members.

"We hope Operation KKK will, in part, spark a bit of constructive dialogue about race, racism, racial terror and freedom of expression, across group lines. Anonymous also notes that the group collected the information of KKK members over 11 months through public documents, "digital espionage," interviews with experts and information from social media accounts of KKK affiliates.

However, the group has not published any personal information about the KKK members.

Anonymous Hackers to Leak 1000 of KKK Members Details on Million Mask March (Nov 5, 2015)

The Online Hacktivist group Anonymous announced it plans to reveal the identities of about 1,000 Ku Klux Klan (KKK) members on 5th November, the day of the Global Protest movement known as the Million Mask March.

Million Mask March, where protesters don Guy Fawkes masks in hundreds of cities around the world, and march together against the corrupt Governments and corporations.

Ku Klux Klan (KKK) is classified as a White Supremacist Racist group by the Anti-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center, allegedly having total 5,000 to 8,000 members.

It was founded after the Civil War by former Confederate soldiers to fight against the reforms imposed by the North during Reconstruction.

“We've gained access to yet another KKK Twitter account. Using the info obtained, we will be revealing about 1000 Klan member identities.”, Anonymous Hackers tweeted last week.

The list of 1000 KKK Members, to be released on 5th November, apparently includes the names of US Politicians, according to the hackers affiliated with Anonymous — Operation KKK.

"You operate much more like terrorists, and you should be recognized as such. You are terrorists that hide your identities beneath sheets and infiltrate society on every level,” the hacker collective said.

"The privacy of the Ku Klux Klan no longer exists in cyberspace. You've had blood on your hands for nearly 200 years."

Yesterday another group of Anonymous hackers, not members of Operation KKK, published the first batch of information (unverified) on Pastebin, which includes total 57 phone numbers and 23 email addresses allegedly belonging to KKK members, along with names of 4 U.S. Senators and 5 City Mayors.

However, Hackers affiliated with Operation KKK denies any connection with the above leak and promises to release its own 1000 KKK Members list on the 5th Nov.

Police have raided 13 houses in Germany and one man was arrested in the UK (United Kingdom). Germany suspects that 19 – 51 aged people are involved in DroidJack.
