When Taylor Swift found out she would be hosting Saturday Night Live, she hoped she would be able to take part in a digital short. She got her wish when she took part in the new SNL digital short, Firelight.

Firelight pokes fun of one of the biggest franchises at the moment, the Twilight series. In it, Taylor plays the character of Stella who falls for the green, mysterious guy from school. She later finds out he’s Frankenstein–because the green skin, funny walk and bolts in his neck totally didn’t give it away. Things become complicated when Frank and his crew are suspected of choking people–by accident. Take a look a the hilarity in the short above.

Lady GaGa is all about making musical art and experimenting with her electro-pop sound but she never strays too far away from the formula that made her a house hold name on her debut album The Fame.

In the new song Dance In The Dark, taken from The Fame Monster, the expanded edition of her debut, Lady GaGa blends elements of techno, electronica, and dance on top of her signature electro-pop sound for a song that is truly single worthy.

Dance In The Dark is one of eight new songs that will be featured on The Fame Monster. She says the songs are completely different in subject matter than anything you can find on The Fame.

“I didn’t write about fame. I didn’t write about money. I didn’t write about celebrities. I didn’t write about any of those things,” she told 106 & Park hosts Rocsi and Terrence J during a recent appearance. “I wrote about fear and I wrote about love. I wrote about loneliness and I wrote about all these monsters. ”

The Fame Monster will be released on November 23.

Taylor Swift pulled double duty tonight playing both musical guest and host of Saturday Night Live, something she says is a dream come true. The country/pop phenom, known to write songs about experiences she feels strong emotions about, opened the show with her monologue song titled Monologue Song (La La La).

In her monologue song, Taylor addresses a number of topics currently surrounding her including the recent rumors about her dating Twilight star Taylor Lautner (If you’re wondering if I might be dating a werewolf from Twilight, I’m not going to comment on that in my monologue) and the now infamous Kanye West VMAs outburst (You might be expecting me to say something bad about Kanye…but there’s nothing more to say because everything’s ok. I’ve got security lining the stage).

Taylor also takes a shot at ex-boyfriend Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas, who famously broke up with her in a phone call last year.

“You might think I’d bring up Joe, that guy who broke up with me on the phone but I’m not gonna mention him,” she said before bragging about her success. “Hey Joe! I’m doing real well. Tonight I’m hosting SNL!”

Demi Lovato just wrapped a dazzling tour around the United States with classy teen crooner David Archuleta, but if you missed her live, there’s good news. The Disney starlet’s aamazing performances earlier this summer for Walmart Soundcheck will be released as an exclusive CD/DVD pack on Tuesday, November 10.

The CD/DVD will contain performances of six songs from her two albums, Don’t Forget and Here We Go Again, including “La La Land,” “Get Back,” “Solo” and her latest single, “Remember December.”

There is also an exclusive backstage interview where Demi talks about her new music and evolving sound.

Singer Katy Perry and her new boyfriend, comedian and actor Russell Brand, flaunted their budding romance in front of awaiting paparazzi outside of Russell’s London home earlier today (November 7). The two even went as far as posing so the paps could get their money shot.

Later in the day, the two were spotted again, holding hands and being incredibly cute while making their way to Russell’s pad.

The couple are not shy about their public displays of affection. Last month, the two shared a kiss outside of a Hollywood party–even with photographers looking on.

Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle wowed the audience when she debuted her new single, the Rolling Stones remake Wild Horses, during the America’s Got Talent finale. She’s now ready to continue her quest for US superstardom when she performs on Dancing With The Stars.

People magazine reports that the singer will fly out to Los Angeles for the appearance and is super excited about the gig.

“She’s excited and happy,” her brother, John Boyle, says of his famous sis’ reaction to the appearance. “She loves America and loves the people. She appreciates their honesty.”

Her performance is set for next week.

Lady GaGa is still considered a newcomer — though her chart reign and success would say otherwise — but fans have already come to expect nothing but greatness when it comes to her music videos. A sneak peek at her latest for her blazing single, “Bad Romance,” that GaGa brought to German talk show Wetten Dass to preview suggests they’ll get everything they expect and more.

Though the clip is short (only 28 seconds! Sad face!!!) it’s clear that the video is dramatic, filled with theatrics, and insanely fierce.

Jonas Brothers fans looking to attend their Zurich concert tonight (November 7) woke up to some bad news.

Nick, Joe, and Kevin have announced the cancellation of the show due to illness. “Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is ill with an upper respiratory infection of the nose and throat and the doctor has advised that he not speak or sing,” the guys said in a statement.

It’s the first time the guys have been forced to cancel a show because of sickness.

“The band, the management, and the promoter apologize that the show must be cancelled on such short notice. We will do everything we can to revisit Zurich in the future and perform for our wonderful fans,” the statement continued.

Tickets will be refunded between November 9 and December 31 at the ticket pre-sale agency.

Rihanna’s full interview with Diane Sawyer aired last night on 20/20. Some of the revelations she made in the tell-all were startling. Besides going into detail about the night she was assaulted by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, she revealed for the first time that her mother was a victim of domestic violence at the hands of her father, Ronald Fenty.

Fenty, who spoke out about Brown in numerous interviews, at one time broke Rihanna’s mother’s nose. Her mother, Rihanna says, never sought medical attention or called the police.”Domestic violence is not something people want anybody to know,” she said. “So, she just would hide it in the house.

“I always said to myself ‘I’m never gonna date somebody like my dad. Never.’”

Also, for the first time, Rihanna takes on the speculation that she hit Brown first. Speculation she called “ignorance.” “No. Did not hit him. It was an argument. Verbal.”

Sawyer showed her Brown’s infamous YouTube apology video — a video Rihanna claims she hadn’t seen before then. “Sounds like he might have been reading off of a teleprompter,” she said of the apology. “I knew that he felt really bad about doing it. I just didn’t know if he understood the extent of what he did.”

Sawyer asked Rihanna what she would like to hear from Chris. Her answer? “Nothing.”

“What I want is for him to accept this as a man would and accept the responsibility and not find a way to feel sorry for himself.”

Nine months after suffering a brutal beating at the hands of her superstar ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, Rihanna has finally spoken out about the night in an interview with Diane Sawyer for ABC News, and in shocking detail.

In a clip from the interview that ran on this morning’s Good Morning America, Rihanna recounts the attack which she describes as “ugly” and Brown’s demeanor at the time. “He had no soul in his eyes,” she told Sawyer. “Just blank. He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked at him.”

Brown has given a small number of interviews about the incident but refused to go into specifics, he says, out of respect for his and Rihanna’s privacy. He remained mum in a new interview with MTV filmed in his native Virginia on Monday (November 2). When asked for a response to Rihanna’s tell-all, he issued the following statement:

“While I respect Rihanna’s right to discuss the specific events of February 8th, I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us. I do appreciate her support and wish her the best. I am extremely sorry for what I did and I accept accountability for my actions. At this point I am taking the proper steps to learn about me and grow from my mistakes. I only hope that others in similar situations can learn from our experience as well. Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God.”
