I purchased this (COBY KYROS MID7015) android tablet from another retailer and ended up getting it for $149.97 (A Steal). I mention the model clearly because I have noticed many negative reviews on what I am sure is the previous model Coby Kyros 7005. I say that because the newer 7015 was just relesed on 12/1/10 at the earliest. You will see that many negative reviews were posted saying they had the COBY MID7015 before it was even available. If people want to post a negative review of a product they at the very least, SHOULD KNOW WHAT MODEL THEY ARE REVIEWING.

That said, in my opinion this Coby MID7015 is an outstanding product. It does everything it claims it can do, and very well in fact. If you take your time and read the simple instructions it is very easy to set up. Even the internet runs very fast on this tablet, (decent wifi connection required). All other applications that come pre-loaded, and even the ones I have loaded myself, run great as well. The bottom line is this. For a full color e-reader (as good as my Daughters brand new $250.00 Nook color), and an amazing media player that plays everything I have thrown at it with ease, plus an android internet tablet with tons of free applications available, this one is a tough cookie to beat. At this price point this is a no brainer in my opinion :)

Just before the onslaught of tablets announced at CES this year, Coby released its Kyros line. The Coby Kyros MID7015 Internet Touchscreen Tablet ($199 list) is an Android 2.1-based device with a 7-inch screen.

Not only is it using a version of Android not intended for tablets, but its resistive touch screen isn't a multi-touch display like the Apple iPad's, so there's no pinching and expanding for quick zooming. The MID7015 performs adequately at best. It's not as graceful as the Samsung Galaxy Tab (starts at $399, 3 stars), not quite as useful as the also sub-par Dell Streak 7 ($199.99, 2.5 stars), and not even in the same ballpark as the much-more-expensive ($499-$829) iPad. If you can wait, the tablet-focused Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) should usher in a better era for tablets in the coming months.

Design
Measuring 7.5 by 0.5 by 4.8 inches with a 7-inch, 800-by-400-pixel resistive touch screen, the MID7015 is a mid-size tablet—decidedly smaller than the iPad and on a size par with the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Coby announced more Kyros tablets at CES, most with multi-touch screens instead of the less-desirable resistive touch featured on the MID7015, but they're not yet available. The black, plastic MID7015 comes with a case that doubles as a stand—a nice add-on considering the price and that the iPad's case, which is essential, is an extra accessory. The MID7015 also comes with earphones, unlike the iPad, along with a power adapter, a screen-cleaning cloth, and a mini-USB sync cable.

A stylus is tucked into the corner of the upper right panel; it isn't necessary to operate the screen, but can be helpful when trying to select small text on a Web page—a scenario that, unfortunately, comes up often. A Home/Menu switch rests below the stylus on the right panel, and the bottom panel houses a mini-USB connection, HDMI out, a microSD slot, power adapter input, and an oddly placed Power button—awkward because it's very close to a strap on the case, which occasionally pressed the button by accident. Also, during my testing, the Power button jammed on occasion, making turning the device on or off difficult. The button below the screen is not a Home button (as is traditionally the case), but a backwards navigation button, which isn't intuitive.

Performance
As stated earlier, the touch screen is not as sensitive as it could be, but for a resistive touch display, it offers better-than-average performance. The real issues come into play when trying to select smaller links or stories in the Web browser. And you can't pinch or expand your fingers to zoom in or out on images or Web pages, so it's either reach for the stylus or use the edge of a fingernail. The browser experience is typical Android 2.1—there's no Flash support, so most Web videos won't play, and many of the Web sites you hit will load as mobile versions. Because the tablet only supports 802.11b/g, the may be slower than you may be accustomed to if you're surfing on an 802.11n network. I had issues loading even the mobile version of the New York Times, which the MID7015 defaults to when www.nyt.com is entered. At first, the browser said it could not find the page, but it eventually loaded after about thirty seconds. On the Samsung Galaxy Tab, meanwhile, the same URL pressed at the same time (and using the same network) loaded the full New York Times page in under eight seconds. This isn't exactly the Internet in your hands.

While the Galaxy Tab and the Dell Streak 7 have full access to the Android Market, which has well-developed apps from recognizable names like American Express and Chase, along with games like Angry Birds, the MID7015 adopts the AppsLib, a market developed and licensed by Archos. AppsLib has always felt like an unfiltered jumble of user-generated, decent-at-best apps. Finding quality apps isn't easy, and it's a huge downside of Archos tablets and the MID7015.

Apps that come loaded on the tablet are of the typical Android variety: a YouTube Video player, Aldiko (an ebook reader), E-mail, Gallery, Music player, Browser, Calculator, Alarm Clock, and the aforementioned AppsLib. The music and video apps are typical of the Android 2.1 experience—they get the job done, but don't expect anything flashy like you see on, say, the iPad.

Loading content on the tablet using Android 2.1 is not as automatic as it is with an iPad or even a cheap MP3 player. Connecting via USB doesn't prompt the tablet to ask whether you want to charge it only, or if you want to mount its hard drive and load content—you have to use a pull-down menu at the top of the home screen and select these options yourself. While this isn't a huge knock, it is yet another example of how Android 2.1 is not ideal for a tablet. (Even Android 2.2, which also isn't tablet-optimized, doesn't suffer from this.) Another irksome quality: after you disconnect the tablet from your PC, there is a significant lag time if you want to immediately play the audio or video files you just synced. The MID7015 even froze a few times trying to play files immediately after syncing them. Tapping the Home button generally fixed the problem, but it's not exactly a graceful process.

Photos and videos are confusingly lumped together in the Gallery menu, while the Video Player is actually a YouTube app. Video and photos look pleasantly crisp on the display, but despite the tablet's support for HD video, it cannot play it back at full resolution on the 800-by-400 screen. There is an HDMI-out connection so you can watch 1080p content on your television—an increasingly popular feature, and one that the iPad lacks. (The iPad can stream content to a TV using AirPlay, but not at full 1080p.)

Coby was unable to confirm a full file support list for the MID7015, but we were able to load a typical array, so consider this an informal guide to what file types are supported. For audio: AAC, MP3, OGG, WMA, WMA Lossless (all non-DRM); for video: MPEG4, WMV, DVIX and AVI; for photo: JPG BMP, PNG, and GIF. The company doesn't publish battery life estimates, but our labs battery tests are underway, and results will be posted here soon.

The MID7015 may be just $200, but unlike the iPad, it is easy to find it for well below its list price—you can find it online for about $150. To its credit, it tested better than the much more expensive Viewsonic Viewpad 7 ($599, 2.5 stars) and the similarly priced Cherrypal Cherrypad ($188, 2 stars). Up against the identically-priced Dell Streak 7, however, it is a far lesser machine. That is a damning fact, as the Streak 7 have plenty of issues of its own. If you don't need a tablet right now, I recommend waiting a few months until Coby—and many of its competitors—unleash a wave of higher performance tablets armed with Honeycomb, the first version of the Android OS (3.0) specifically designed for tablets. If you can't wait, the Streak 7 is better—but not much—and the Galaxy Tab is much better, but more expensive.

I purchased this AOD257 at store during Black Friday. I have been running approximately up to 4 days and this is my opinion that there is to it.

First, build. I love the portability, plus the keyboard is not too small. Typing is comfortable. I have learned some short cut keys (such as F11) to make full use of the smaller screen. It comes with a 3 cell battery which is the smallest it gets for 10.1. Thus, the battery only lasts around 2.5 hours. But, I plan on upgrading to a 9 cell battery when the price is right. It does not have a cd player. There are no hidden annoyances (flashy lights, sounds, weird angles) about this netbook for me.

Second, the computer. You should know it has Windows 7 Starter. Which is a lighter version of regular Windows. Key differences being it has limited versions of word, excel, etc. And, it is not as customizeable(background changing, etc). However, I found a background force changer online which works great. Also, I have purchased a 2g RAM for around $18 which is on its way. Installation looks to be a bit more involved than the average RAM upgrade.

Right now with the 1 gig RAM, the computer is not what I would call slow. Most youtube vids are smooth. I had windows music player going, browsing google chrome, calculator, and notepad open and it was chugging along fine. Back to Windows 7 starter, I have an additional computer for the word and excel stuff for school. So full windows isn't necessary for me here. But, I believe the cheapest upgrade right now is around $90.

All in all, very pleased with this Netbook.

I had thought and looked into getting an iPad or one of the other larger tablets, but realized that if I was going to spend that much money that I may as well by a laptop. Yeah, they look cool and all, and the number of 3rd party things for it are out there, but I realized that I really didn't want something that big in size. I wanted something that I could easily carry around, see what email I had awaiting for me to read at some point, could sit and read a book, and play a few games. I had looked at some other 7" tablets, but there was just something about them that just didn't give me the desire to buy them, then I came across this one.

It's heavier than I expected, and takes longer to start than I would like, but it works for me.I have had no trouble connecting to wifi networks, the apps that I have added work great, going from portrait to landscape is quick, playing video from YouTube and elsewhere works fine, and I have even been able to make Skype calls with no problems.

The problem that I have had with it is that the battery doesn't last long, and it would of been really nice if they had made it a little bigger or added a clasp for the stylist. I also don't like the fact that if you lay it onto a table the screen will automatically switch to landscape.

The Apps store it uses (GetJar) has plenty of stuff to keep me happy, but I am not looking for it to do a billion things. So far I have enjoyed the e-reader (Aldiko) as it is easy to read things.

If you need all of the bells & whistles of the iPad, then buy an iPad. If you are looking for something that will do the basics quickly so you can do other things in life, this is a good choice...

Acer Aspire One AO722-0473 Nice Netbook!

This is typical of a netbook, you can feel the powerful and feature for full size netbook. That is soothing as a top model of the netbook and the specs like on the laptop that it is. Start of dual core high end processor / ATI graphics utilizing / 256MB dedicated RAM / Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit / 2 GB RAM Standard / 320 GB HDD and a 1366x768 resolution screen. This is a specs that is closest to a true laptop.

Today, I just bought this netbook model two unit, because that it just reduces the price to $198 and I still have 5% of the target card as well. So I decided to buy this Acer Aspire One AO722-0473 11.6-Inch HD Netbook for price reduction. I set them both to be successful today and put one for my 9-year-old daughter to use it. She learned and can use it quickly. And another one for my wife to take it to the clinic, it is easily accessible.

I was impressed it at first removed from its packaging. With 2 GB of RAM, this netbook can work quickly right. It can run internet through web browser without any problems. Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel are also available as well.

It's like any other netbook in the same price, I'll add a 4GB SODIMM in order to enhance its performance even more. At this point, the netbook can easily upgrade it to a screw on the back cover to access the RAM and HDD and PCI slot with ease.

Update November 25 2011 :

This ago about 3 weeks since I received this netbook. Is no anything to complain for it. I had to upgrade RAM as I want and it improves some performance up slightly. As observed, that is an antivirus program and uninstall programs can run faster. I installed Microsoft Security Essentials with basic antivirus / antispy ware has been free from Microsoft.

I think I need more Bluetooth devices on this chip-set that use the original wireless WIFI (Atheros), I found that Atheros WIFI does not cover some of the works which I wanted. I searched the PCIs Atheros from Internet and found it on Ebay. I decided to buy Atheros AR5B195 + Bluetooth Half Mini PCIe at price of $21 with shipping.

The combo WIFI and Bluetooth card sent to me in the next day and I had to install it manually. It's very easy to install by remove original wireless card out (open case, pop off the antenna leads and remove the hold down screw) and install the new card instead. The new card has two poles, the pole share which WIFI and Bluetooth antennas that are employed together.

Now, both set to work as I want. The Atheross Bluetooth Driver can be used with the Aspire One AO722 driver. Is quite difficult to find the Atheros WiFi driver. I'm trying to test difference between the set and found that it works well either with Dell DW1702 wireless card driver. Which must be some hard installed because it is a driver for a Dell machine. Yep! driver can work together, and after the driver complete installation, wireless can work immediately.

Everything appears to be working fine. I can now use a Bluetooth mouse without a dongle!

Good netbook with full keyboard

Great little netbook at an affordable price. The technical specifications are pretty standard for a netbook 2010/2011: 1G RAM, 250GB HD, 3 USB ports, camera base, separate microphone and headphone jack, SD card slot, VGA output and a battery life of 8 hours.

There are many netbooks on the market like this, but what really stands out for me is the keyboard, full size keyboard with all the main cursor movement keys: Up, Down, Right, Left dedicated PgUp, PgDn, Home and End . I work with Excel spreadsheets and it is really complicated ORF with the key combination Fn + End / to the end + Up / Down or Ctrl + fn + home, ctrl + fn + end, etc to move around.

Even scrolling with Page Up / Page Down to read a web page is the duration of pain if you also have to press the Fn key! With most netbooks you live with the Fn key, in this case does not have the NB505 keyboard is very convenient and comfortable, almost like a laptop or keyboard, complete, and the key layout is not standard, the can work faster and easier.

I also feel very soft when takes a few blankets, very nice and handles great! Windows 7 Starter is really important, but you can find programs, utilities, and advice on the Internet, the basic package "missing features" how to adopt or change the background image, received the colors, sounds, resize images, etc. I get rid of most Toshiba utilities and also part of Norton Security installed and MS and my editing program freeware favorite at home.

I would like stereo speakers, but this netbook has only a mono speaker on the device. I have old Toshiba laptop with an excellent experience, in reality, they are still in progress (Win98, 450 MB HD, 64 MB of RAM)! I decided to give it a chance and bought the netbook from Amazon. She came quickly, and work OK! (No DOA). Its been a month since I have a netbook and I'm always happy, but I think the upgrade to 2 GB of memory to make it snappy, I find Windows XP to Win7 heavy GB of RAM (but just my opinion ...). Overall, I recommend it to my friends!

I am a big fan of this product. I still surf the battery life, even when using the Wi-Fi for a few hours. Nevertheless, it is a little heavy. But it is an excellent alternative to an iPad. Surfing the Internet is perfectly fine when WiFi is good. The screen resolution and color is better than tablets for the price and size of 800x600. For Element is renewed product in a sealed box of detail provided, and all accessories are new, how new products can. I do not know if it is extended.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my mother. She loves to surf the Web directly before going to bed and was using his iPod Touch, but the screen is just sooo hard for them to see something. She is disabled and there are days where they in bed or on the couch all day, unable to move.

I wanted something big, it is a Multi-Tasker, is easy to use was to have. She loves this tablet! It took a few days to get the hang of it, and says she has not discovered all the bells and whistles, but it leaves to the Internet, without the surf at a table, where sit the computer. And "E-Reader, and even a built in Barnes and Noble app is great and very easy to use.

It also comes with a couple of games (one is lonely, she was thrilled:)) But you have a little more on the App Store to download. In my opinion, is totally worth it and I'm just thankful that they look so happy.

If you super-fast processing and the App Store (two Android and Apple), then you'll buy something more expensive. I found the tab to work reliably simple and yet capable of any application that I wanted to go out without having to hack or ROOT. This is a great first board directors or the person who does not need all the bells and whisltes an iPad.

--Beware the Display!--

Unit is powered adequately but low def display resolution makes it almost painful to use. I'll admit; I missed that when I read the specs. How can they say this is a Netbook when you can't use it on the Internet? What tore it for me was when Yahoo! said I had to go back to default email program because, quote, "Your screen resolution is set below our minimum recommendation." What they recommend is 1024 x 768. This device only delivers 1024 x 600 natively. In addition, the screen is nowhere near as bright as Asus claims in its hype. It simply will not do, not even for a fairly inexpensive component like the netbook.
I'm sending it back today, April 22, the day after I received it!

--Excellent Netbook Options For The Price--

When it comes to notebooks I normally purchase Dells. However, when I found I needed a netbook for taking notes in class and I began to look at the different models, the Dell Mini battery life just wasn't that good and the ASUS caught my attention for several reasons. One of the students in class had one and he really liked it. When I looked online the price, options and customer reviews were excellent so I decided to take a chance on it and it has been great. Below are some of the Pro's and (few) Con's:

Pro's:
Monitor: Excellent, crisp LED backed 1024x600 display with minimal reflection

Bluetooth: Actually has built in Bluetooth which is not common on other Netbooks

Wireless: 802.11b/g/n with excellent reception and connects without problems

Windows 7 Starter: I was very surprised it boots up and shuts down very fast and uses minimal resources

Built in Web Cam and Mic: Although the webcam has become standard, I was surprised that it included a mic

USB Ports: This netbook surprisingly has three USB ports built in!

Keyboard Layout: Takes a little getting used to since it's obviously not full size, but the layout is very good

Battery Life: EXCELLENT. Running Windows and MS Works for 3.5 hours while taking notes I only used 22% of battery so it has very good power management. In addition, the ASUS Super Hybrid Engine auto-adjusts power settings to get maximum life out of the battery. For example, if you're not touching the computer for more than a minute the computer starts stepping down the brightness of the display to prolong the battery life. If you are just looking to surf the web then you can just boot into the non-Windows environment which will make your battery life last even longer.

Hard Drive: A lot of netbooks are coming with only 160GB hard drives. This one has 250GB which is really a bonus.

Integrated Flash Card Slot: MMC/SD/SDHC

Built-in Recovery: Come preloaded with an image of the system that the user can use to reload the netbook should the computer become infected or if they simply want to do a fresh install. A recovery DVD is included as well.

Con's:
Exterior Finish: I love the blue color, but the shinny finish picks up fingerprints easily. In addition, it scratches very easily as well. For me it's not too big of an issues, but I know it could be for others

Memory: Only comes with 1GB of Ram as do most netbooks. The netbook seems to run okay, but I noticed a speed improvement when I upgraded to the 2GB. If you are thinking of upgrading the memory see my WARNING below.

Pre-Installed Software: It comes with trials of Micro Trends AV and Office 2007. I deleted all of that crap off of the machine. If you're planning on using it great, but otherwise I would get rid of it as it takes up memory and hard drive space.

DVD Drive: This isn't necessarily a con, but I wanted to mention it for users who may want to load software from a CD or DVD that it doesn't have one. I purchased an external drive for this.

MEMORY UPGRADE WARNING: I upgraded my memory to the maximum 2GB. There are two things to be aware of:

1. Amazon has listed on the netbook page a memory module under the Frequently Bought Together section on the page that is the INCORRECT memory type for this computer. Do not buy the 256Mx64PC2-5300 module, the correct memory is 6400.

2. I normally upgrade my computers with Crucial Memory. To ensure I was purchasing the correct memory I went out to Crucial's website and ran their memory finder using my computer model. The module the Crucial website told me to purchase was CT25664AC800 2GB 200-pin SODIMM DDR2 PC2-6400. This memory module is INCOMPATIBLE with this machine. Users have been reporting different issues. The problem I was encountering was the computer screen would sometimes come up black on startup. It would also sometimes show the boot process on the screen at startup (not normal). The big problem is that when the machine is operating on battery power it would not shut down completely. The Windows program would close and the screen would go dark, but the power lights remained on along with the fan sometimes staying on. The only way around this shut down problem was to shut down the ASUS Super Hybrid Engine software first and then shutdown the machine or press and hold the power button, neither of which I was willing to do. Let me mention this is NOT a software issue with the ASUS Super Hybrid Engine. After searching multiple forums I found a user who had purchased Corsair Memory VS2GSDS800D2 2 GB PC2-6400 800MHz 200-pin DDR2 SODIMM and used it with success. I ordered the new memory from Amazon and it works well and there are no longer any issues with startup or shut downs.

So excited to get this machine, but there is a buzz when I start it, which is really annoying. I think it's from the hard drive. The only way to stop the noise is to lift the rear part to a certain angle. But after a few minutes it becomes quiet. This is not a huge problem, but it should not be seen on a brand new netbook. So I called Amazon whose service is excellent. They will send me a replacement, and I can keep this one till I receive the new one. I think I'll keep shopping with Amazon.

As for this machine itself, other than the noise, which I hope doesn't happen to many others, I like it very much. It doesn't get hot as my old one does, so it can absolutely used on you laps.

Yes, there is no recovery CD, but you don't need it, I think, because there is a button you can press to recover the system to factory setting. Plus, there is no CD/DVD drive, so I wouldn't be bothered by the lack of the CDs.

The some gestures do not work so well with the touchpad. Maybe I just need more practice and get used to it. But the machine works well with my bluetooth mouse which I use almost exclusively, so it won't bother me.

Overall, I would have given it 5 stars without the noise.

--Stopped working after a few months; no help from asus--

This netbook is light, attractive, and has a usable keyboard. Initially, the battery life was great.

After a few months of gentle use, the hinges attaching the screen loosened up and tore apart. I contacted asus for an RMA, but didn't send the netbook in immediately, as I still used it sometimes with an external monitor.

A few weeks ago I sent it back and that's when the real nightmare began. Asus returned the netbook with repaired hinges and screen, but a completely broken keyboard. For over a week, I've been trying to get a replacement keyboard or an expedited repair, but asus doesn't care that the current problem is a direct result of their mishandling. Each time I call, the supervisor promises to "escalate," and then never calls back or does anything. Tonight, the supervisor I spoke with said it would take 2 to 3 business days to figure out whether they good reduce the normal 7 business day repair time!

If you want a reliable netbook, don't risk this one. When it breaks, asus "customer support" will torture you into giving up.

I bought a hp mini and was alarmed at the poor battery performance. Even when i am not doing any thing. i find that the battery power is falling hour-by-hour. So I googled for mini notebooks and came across this on amazon website. If you order this within next 40 minutes it will be delivered tomorrow- is what i found and quickly i read the customer review under the competetive model PU27 by Mr.Turtle james and immediately ordered for this. True to its promise Amazon deleivered this piece by 9am on the very next day

The review by Turtle james greatly helped me to configure this notebook in no time and I would suggest anyone going to buy a mini with a lasting battery may simply buy this one without a second thought. And curiously if you search for this item on amazon website you will never get to this. So google only leads to this page on amazon - prpbably commercial interests of amazon are involved, -, i don't know.

This was the perfect on-the-go machine for me. I am a student at a technical school and this little computer is an aid to one. I admit, I'm not very technologically inclined (ie, going to school technology), but I found my Acer to be very friendly. If you're used to a desktop or laptop more, the small screen has some adjustments. For me, portability is worth the small screen. I was worried that the keyboard would be very small, but I had no problem. The battery life was more than I expected. With moderate use, I spent four days without having to recharge the battery. Also, I had no problems running the various programs. My Acer was the perfect extension of my PC at home. I used it for a month and I still love it.

Very happy with this netbook. Now used for 1 week. Do whatever you want to do. Very nice car. Only problem is getting used to the mouse pad. There is a considerable amount of discussion on upgrading to 2GB of RAM. I have 2 GB PC2-6400 800 card and installed and the computer will not start.

I also purchased this Acer Ao532h with Windows 7 starter for my wife. I popped the memory card and it booted without any problem and immediately recognized the 2GB of RAM. Then put the card 1GB Ao532 Acer Windows 7 for my machine (Acer A0523 Windows XP) and will not boot. So now I am convinced that both machines use memory cards diffferent because of the difference between operating systems. I hope what I'm saying is true. Maybe my Acer Windows XP is not good (on the basis of a prior analysis of customers) or I need a different memory card.

Remember that this comes with Windows XP, Windows 7 is not for beginners, which has become the de facto standard for netbooks. This can be very interesting if you want to run XP, or will not learn the new operating system, Win7, or because he sees the legacy benefits specific to Windows XP (may be slightly faster than the Atom processor Win7 most netbooks more Light run). I was not a fan of netbooks that many out there, but this guy really surprised me. I started to compare against this netbook netbook from Asus, Acer, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba and Gateway (a fairly complete line-up). There was a sharp contrast between the series of Mini 10 netbook and manufactured by other companies. For me, the decision to purchase really came down to comfort and ingenuity of its design. I believe that others choose this model mainly for the same reasons.

===== It's Comfortable =====
This thing is a dream to use. Most netbooks are unusable for me. What else bites with netbooks is the keyboard. I'm used to low-profile, scissors style chiclet switch keyboards that are (or at least used to be) more common in laptops, and in fact I love them. I refer to the type of keys that are flat and flush with the rest of the palm, and has a flange or just the edges of the lips (where the space between the keys). To see exactly what I mean, check the close-up on the right (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00361G10S?tag=a52-20&ie=UTF8 productDescription #). These types of keyboards makes writing very easy, since it will not cause wrist strain due to high keys or keys that require more force to press.

===== It's Innovative =====
The touch pad is small, but smart, who can hit the corners of the mat bottom-left/bottom-right to left-click/right-click (respectively), instead of wasting space by the application of separate buttons. The touch pad is very palpable, as texture and the finish is matte and not glossy, making it much more conducive to slide the fingers of most other netbooks I put my fingers. Most of the bearings netbooks touch was brilliant, making your skin strength and resistance to dragging gestures. I think the feeling of being almost annoying as fingernails on a blackboard! Netbooks were visibly covered with oil stains and grease of fingers, both within the block of the track and also at the wrist. Instant off for me on anything, but Dell! The Mini-10, another blot was free, thanks to the use of palm oil resistant soft rest texture.

I did not get this case to use with a Netbook, I've chosen to use with a portable DVD player. It works very well for him. The DVD player and all agreements fit perfectly inside the case, along with some DVDs in the front pocket. When I chose this item, which had shown a case of laptops, I do not know of any laptop that fit into this process. Now I see that down the title of the article to tell the time Netbook. Work would be nice for a netbook, but since I have not a netbook, I decided to use it for the portable DVD player. A case is well padded so it will take a while 'to fly around without damaging what is inside. The smaller zipper pocket on the back of the case is excellent to put the headphones too. Overall, I am very happy with the voice for what I'm using it for.

This is strictly for 10 "netbooks. My ASUS 1000H dropped right in as I tried to put my Acer 11" in the bag. Fits, a tight fit, but no zip. You feel very confident that the netbook is well protected. The pocket where it will be the front and rear netbook is padded, so what you put in the front pocket does not affect the Netbook. The bag has 3 pockets. Pocket half has a place for your iPod, pen and a neat place for your USB drive. Moreover, there is more room at the bottom to bring the card or the mouse.

The front pocket is smaller, app 4"x41/2". It 'a good option for flat objects, or maybe the cables. And 'well put together and handsome. And I like having the strap. It is black like me, or gray. If you are looking for AA nice way to bring your notebook and accessories, look no further.

This is very well made and well designed netbook case. The hinges work well (a complaint I had with other cases, netbook this price range) and the filling is more than enough for the harshness typical of everyday use. The love that there is room for power cords, adapters and other necessary items that we all have electronic waste on July I would also like the overall design is disabled - no bright colors or logos, just a nice classic black. Granted, that feature will probably not be good for younger audiences, but I do not care nothing for the "Hey - look at what I'm taking! School of Design.

Highly recommend!

I must say I was a bit disappointed with my HP mini purchase.

Cons:
1.) Skype installation defaulted to external mic, and it was frustrating to figure out.

Pros:
1.) great keyboard, easy to type.
2.) Easy memory upgrade to 2gb. It made my mini super-fast!
3.) Nice/compact design

...Since the iPad hasn't been released yet, I bought one of these to show my design portfolio to clients. And I must say, I'm impressed. Gorgeous, minimal design, bright, beautiful screen, effortless set-up (it connected to my wireless network without a hiccup, unlike an Asus EEE I bought, then returned, a little while back). But best of all, this thing is ZIPPY! Videos load and play super-fast. Great little machine.

I can't say anything about how this product functions, because I bought it from HP and it came in a non-working condition. It took numerous phone calls, hassles with customer service, not to mention speaking with a supervisor regarding the service I had received before I could even return the thing. I've had this happen once before, trying to exchange a computer with HP, but I figured one bad experience doesn't override the fact that generally they have good products. But when you order a brand new product and it doesn't even turn on... and then the service rep says well, we test all our computers before they leave... just left such a sour taste. I will no longer purchase, nor recommend HP. Be aware if you need service from them.

This is a great bag for our eees. Some eees come with a simple zipper pouch, but some come without anything. This case is nicer than the included pouches. The best feature is the handles. The center compartment includes a zipper pouch with two mesh pockets (will hold your charger, etc.). There is an outer pocket on each side of the bag. One has 3 holders for pens and 3 credit card-sized pockets. The side pockets have very light magnetic fasteners to hold them closed. According to the tag, the bag fits laptops that are 10-1/2 x 7-5/8 x 1-1/2". It is too bad that the color choices do not match the eee colors - we chose the blue bag for our pink eee and the orange one for the black eee. The colors match those in the pictures quite well. The bags do have a funny odor at first, but it seems to be going away. The odor wasn't bad enough to be a concern for us.

I don't normally write reviews, but I was very satisfied with this product. It's got lots of places to stash goodies inside. I've got a Lenovo S10-3T netbook, USB hard drive, Samsung portable DVD burner with about 10 blank discs in sleeves, wireless mouse, a pair of Sennheiser HD 238 headphones, USB hub, and all necessary cables/power supply etc. in this thing. But, I was STILL able to get 2 magazines in it. I was also able to cram a hard cover book I bought in the airport in the side pocket on the back. The shoulder strap is soft and comfortable and the carry handles have thick rubber. The cost is about $10-15 more than I wanted to pay, but worth every nickel. It's by far the best laptop bag I've ever had. Highly recommended.

I found I was carrying a briefcase that was too big and heavy and my back and shoulder were sore. I commute on trains so it was a hassle. I searched under 'small briefcases' but found nothing then I had a eureka moment - I recently purchased a netbook and was thinking of a case - and looked under netbook cases and saw this and purchased it. Almost a year later, it is still going strong. My netbook is only for home use and I use this as my office briefcase and my back and shoulder are relieved! It is compact but inside space is big enough to fit an Ikea catalog inside before it gets too bulky. The front pocket carries my eyeglass case and closes with a velcor strip. After about a year the velcro strip for the front pocket became less 'sticky' but it still closed fine but I am paranoid on crowded trains so I had the idea to add a button to secure it. The front flap for this pocket has a loop handle and I took it to a seamstress and she sewed in a metal botton that matched the case and that fits into the loop. Case front pocket super secured.

However I own a mint Samsung N310 which has a rubber like covering and I've noticed the black from the inside of the case has stained the sides of my netbook and will not come off. My girlfriend loves this case. It fits her Dell Mini 9v Hackintosh perfectly.

Upon receiving it, I was surprised by the quality of material and construction. The colors - even though basic black and white - are very bold and rich.

Overall I was expecting something far inferior and was delighted to give my girlfriend a gift that will last.

It has about an 1/8 or 1/16 in memory foam on either side - just enough to protect it, but not too much to make it bulky.

Amazon keeps asking me to review this little sleeve
case for my hp Mini 311, so...

The sleeve fits the 311 very well. Both the main
compartment for the 311 and the accessory pocket are
lined with plastic and will presumably protect the
contents from water.

The accessory pocket holds the ac adapter and cords,
plus a full-size wireless mouse. One can also fit in
the carry strap, but an external dvd drive must be
squeezed into the main pocket with the 311, probably
not a good idea.

The adjustable strap at full length positions the
sleeve at my waist (5'6"). The 'suede' exterior of
the sleeve is satisfactory, almost attractive, and
the workmanship is good. There is a Casecrown logo,
not hp.

Though I have yet to use the sleeve for travel, I
expect it to work well and am pleased with it.

Starting from a perfect score, two stars were docked because of the poor zipper they chose--Belkin opted for a zipper with a fabric strip, which is very loosely woven and gets caught on the zipper easily. This results in a torn zipper, which makes the sleeve a LOT harder to use.

Fits a Samsung Q1 Ultra-V perfectly, also machine washed it after a year of use (quite light use, only a few dots of food stains on the sleeve), and dried on low. However, the zipper tore after about a few weeks of use. The sleeve itself is quite durable, although things can permanently dent the neoprene. For example, I set my tablet outside of the sleeve when charging at home, and there's this little nub that permanently dented the case after I left my tablet sitting there for a week.

I got this with a rebate, so I am very happy with the price.

It is a fine case, with a little padding. It keeps my netbook from getting scratched in my purse. My husband likes his because he keeps his netbook in the car and it keeps it from sliding around in the trunk.

There is a little D-ring hook I use to connect it to my purse carabiner. I do this to minimize the chance of it from being 'lifted' in public places. Also it has a two handle zipper (if that is what you call it), so you can zip up from both ends and have them meet anywhere along the outside edge. That enables me to have it plugged in and charging even while it is in the case.

The power cord that came with my netbook was quite frail and flimsy and died after about a year of use. This one is proving to be a good replacement. It is thicker and heavier than my other power cord, but I like its weight and bulkiness as it feels as if it will stand up to more everyday use, which my original power cord could not.

I was expecting a flimsy, poor fitting, short, no-good adapter and this thing proved me wrong. It fits great both in the netbook as well as the wall plug. Everything is thicker than expected, I did not open the unit, but for what I can tell this thing is a little heavier than the factory adapter. Very glad with this buy. I ordered another one to have at the office so that all I have to carry around is my little AAO.

I didn't want to lug around the power adapter and this is one of the very few options for the aspire one. The plug fits just as well as the OEM plug and everything appears to work.
