In 2007 new things will come! I have a new hosting provider. Thanks to them I can now create blogs on my own domain. So in 2007 I will start blogging on a new site in my own little home on the internet. The blogspot blogs will stay as a reminder of how things began but they will not get updated anymore.

I'm now busy re-writing the nu-man story so I hope to publish that in bookform early 2007 as well. If all goes well this will tie in nicely with the new site and blogs.

So, although it will seem tdaonp is quiet for a while, in fact I'm working as a bee on a new start! I'll keep you all posted!

Blogging temporarily on hold!

Hi all,

I temporarily took a break from blogging and podcasting. Next year I will start of with new blogs and podcasts on my own site. Everything will be under my own roof then. So I'm busy building this and hope to start early January.

I will post the new site here when it's finished.

I just wanted to show you this. Tibor, the drummer of John Zieman's band recorded a little un-plugged version of JZ playing 'on top':

I felt obliged to show you this as I recorded the cd with these guys :-) And why in the Netherbands blog? Welllll, he does speak Dutch, was born in the Netherlands and we recorded his cd here in NL, soooo, I guess it's kind of a Netherband, right?

back from holidays...

Hi all,

I'm back. Had a lovely holiday for a week. Have been cycling from my home to maastricht in the extreme south of The Netherlands. Done 477,4 km's (about 298 miles) with fully packed bicycles. It was great. weather was nice, people were nice, not too many tourists yet, many off-road bits (i love off-road!). In short: a lovely active holiday and a complet brain switch off.

But now I'm back and ready to podcast so: expect a podcast shortly. I'll be scouring the net for some great tunes!

Hi all,

Nope, I haven't forgotten all you podcast listeners out there. I am just very busy in the studio at the moment. I'm working with a well known artist (who for the moment shall remain nameless) on a demo project. It's great working with a man who has seen and done it all in the music business. Inspirational to say the least!

So, I'll probably get a podcast out to you either tomorrow or next weekend. So stay subscribed, I haven't forgotten about y'all!

Hi all,

This is the first episode of the Netherbands podcast. High energy kick off as it should be. So have a listen to some seriously good songs. These are the bands and their links:

Hi, start of a new podcast: Netherbands.

Let's play 'as if'. Like in : as if I have time to do another podcast, or: as if anyone wants another podcast. Well I began another one anyway.

This one will feature only Dutch bands. So it will be in the same vain as tdaonp podcast but with only Dutch bands. The podcast itself will be English language because I'd like to show the rest of the big blue planet that our little country (which is largely below the level of the blue stuff) brings forth some great sounds!

Well, you need to sound good if you wanna shout over the dikes and the roar of the wind thru the tulip fields and the sounds of wooden shoes clip-clopping on the cobble stones. And as most of us are stoned out of our brains most of the time we are very natural rock stars. right that got rid of any pre-conceptions you might have... oh wait... Ah, what ever dude.

Anyway, hope you like the new podcast that will be coming to you shortly...
