Search Engine Optimisation over recent years, long gone are the days
when you could merely use the keyword meta tag and stuff your website
with the same keywords to get an excellent ranking, search engine
algorithms are more intelligent these days and the main search engines
don't even take a blind bit of notice of the Keyword tag, even link
building is becoming unproductive since the last few Google updates, I'm
not saying that it's a waste of time but the search engines, Google
especially ,now focus on quality over quantity, no longer does the site
with the most one way links reign supreme and countless websites dropped
pages and pages recently because of this, If this happened to your
website then its down to lazy SEO on the part of your Search Engine
Optimisation company.
So this leaves search engine friendly
website code and article posting as the main force when it comes to
getting your website ranking high and staying there, I'm not going to go
into search engine friendly code and content in this article, that's
down to you or your website designer, a competent web design company
should produce valid SEO friendly code anyway. This leaves article
writing as the main focus.

Articles are the key to successful
Internet Marketing when it comes to achieving page one results, but you
simply can't string together five or six hundred words and stick your
keyword link either in the article body or in the author bio, this
doesn't work. Your article has to be relevant to your website or niche
and must be written in good English, remember what I said earlier,
search engine algorithms are more intelligent these days and can filter
out poorly put together articles and poor incoherent English.

If
your using a Search Engine Optimisation company then make sure that
their first language is English and that they are writing your articles
in house and not passing this task onto a team outside the country.
Don't be naive about how SEO Agencies work, Yes a Manchester SEO company
that claims to have 120 staff will be telling the truth but 100 of
these employees will be based outside the UK where labour is cheaper in
countries such as India, but a professional company will write articles
professionally in house and simply pass on a list of tasks such as sites
to post to and links to build to their teams outside of the country,
this works fine, but if they pass on the entire project to these teams
then your SEO will be poor and this practice has been known to have
negative effects.

Your SEO Company should be able to produce any
articles that they have used to promote your website along with their
monthly reports, if they don't, ask to see them and then read through
them, articles written by a non-English person are easy to spot and do
not make very good reading, Spun articles are also very easy to spot, a
spun article is an article written by someone else, copied off the
internet and spun by software that changes the verbs to produce a unique
article, these spun articles used to get past the search engine quality
and duplicate content checks but this is no longer the case. So if an
SEO company provides 'spun' articles, then you should avoid them, as
articles need to be unique.

The best articles are the one's that
are written from scratch, if you are good at literature then write your
own, is going to take a couple of hours tops and who better to write
about your business or product than you? and your know that they are
unique. Even if you are using an SEO Company to distribute your article
you can always negotiate with then to get a reduction in their fee
because you are supplying your own articles, so what are you waiting
for? get typing.

Top Rank are a leading Manchester SEO
and Internet Marketing company with fully active facebook and twitter
pages and a proven track record that has created 100's of satisfied
customers in the UK and abroad.
to what it is, and what it can provide. Internet marketing is only one
aspect of the internet, but it is a very important aspect at that. When
people search for items on the internet they are normally looking for
information, this information can come in a variety of ways and it can
either be free, or purchased. For those that are looking, that is one
area of the internet. For those that are providing, this is an area
where broad and local internet marketing come into play.
As
stated before, internet marketing is only one aspect of the internet,
and it basically consists of marketing a product or service online. But
there is much more to this phenomenon than one may think, and in this
article you will discover what they actually are.

* Internet Marketing Consultants

When
private individuals and business owners decide to take their ideas for
business online, they will be better served if they use the services
provided by internet marketing consultants. The reason for this is - on
today's internet it's much more than simply purchasing a domain name,
securing a bit of hosting, and launching a web presence. You will need
to know a little more about the marketing side of things in order to be
successful obtaining the type of targeted traffic you are looking for.

* Internet Marketing Consulting

Consulting
will come in many different forms, and the type that will work for you
will be determined by your specific needs. Allowing a professional
internet marketer to consult you will allow you to avoid the pitfalls in
which other less experienced marketers fall prey to. You will discover
that because you've taken the time to invest in internet marketing
consulting, your chances of surviving your first year on the internet
can almost be guaranteed.

* Website Search Engine Optimization

As
stated before, having a web presence is much more than obtaining a
domain name and hosting. You will need to properly setup your website in
order for search engines to find you, and to ultimately provide
informational and educational content for the people that visit. The
other important factor will be the visitors. You don't just want any
visitor coming to your site. You'll want relevant targeted traffic
because these will be the most likely visitors that are interested in
your products and services.

* Search Engine Optimization Companies

There
is a wide range of companies available that can provide SEO services
for you or your business. One of the most important steps will be to
find a company that can provide everything you need, and explain exactly
why you need it. There are companies available that provide outstanding
service and it will be up to you to find one that is a perfect fit.

The
internet and internet marketing isn't going away, and in fact it is
growing at a very rapid pace. If you've been contemplating bringing your
business to the online community, you may find the information provided
in this article extremely helpful.
Well it depends on what you want to achieve with social media. If you
are looking to take your brand to a national or global marketplace then
yes - invest in social media marketing. If you are a small business
whose products and services are primarily geared to servicing your local
area, then the question needs to be asked:
'How much time do you
have to dedicate to raising your social media profile and what return
on investment will it provide in terms of sales or market growth?

Websites versus Social Media - what to focus on?

Websites
make sales, social media pages generally do not. Establishing good
search engine rankings for your website should be the first goal for new
start-ups so potential customers can find you. Great content and the
ability to convert visitors into sales create a successful online
campaign.

Building a list should be the prime focus of tapping
into the potential of your site traffic, otherwise opportunities are
lost. You have the three time convincers, those people who need to
connect with you more than once to be convinced to invest in your
product or service. List building provides the opportunity to stay in
touch with customers that have yet to purchase and gives them a chance
to get to know you more.

Social media can help connect at a
deeper level with potential customers and used well can drive traffic to
your website via promotions and competitions. Integrated with your
blog; social media pages can create a coordinated online marketing
campaign with your website to build your brand. Most people using
social media are doing so for the same purposes as you - to promote
themselves and for its social aspect. That means sharing photos,
videos, music, humour, inspiration, information, advice and connecting
with stars, media and people of interest.

When embarking on an
integrated social media campaign you will need to think about what it is
that you are going to share (that's not directly selling) with your
followers? What have you got to offer that other people and businesses
will find intriguing, inspiring, entertaining or useful?

Building Your Brand - Facebook, Twitter and Blogging

One
thing I know is that people want to connect with you personally, they
want to see your face on your social media profile not a logo. The
exception to this is if you own a well-known magazine, trade journal or
charity. Otherwise, my advice is to post a good photo.

Social
media web design provides the opportunity to build your brand through
images, slogans and profile information. Important is your by-line, if
people get what you are about in an instant through the use of visual
media and a one liner, the light goes on…connections can be made. When
creating your slogan or by-line ask yourself 'What is your higher
purpose' for doing what you do. Think in terms of how your products and
services create value for people, ultimately what is it you are trying
to achieve for them?
Transfer that message and branding through your Facebook page, Twitter
page and Tumblr blog and when integrated with your website you have
created a coordinated online social marketing campaign. Social media
web design gives the 'wow' factor to your social media pages.

Let's talk about Blogging

Blogging
if used cleverly can boost your search engine rankings and establish
you as an expert in your field. To save time, write your blog posts all
at once and queue them for release at set times each day with automated
posting to your Twitter and Facebook pages. EBusiness Courses offers
an integrated social media web design package that does all of this for
you, except for writing the blog content. Writing a blog takes
commitment on your part and if you are using the medium to establish
yourself as an expert, no one knows your business like you do. The
rise of social media marketing is only going to get bigger and changes
the way we connect with each other and our customer base. I guess at
this point, the question is can you afford not to have a social media
profile?

Let's face it - the shorter and easier a website address (or URL =
Uniform Resource Locator) is to type the more likely people will find it
easily. If you have a website with a long URL like
"theunreasonablyverylongebsiteaddress.co.tz" the chances of getting
anyone to type that out correctly is remote.

It will be far
easier to ask them to type something like shorturl.com. Also if you are
sending your website out on Twitter for example or wish to use AdWords
the advantages are obvious. (Twitter severely limits the number of
characters that may be used on a Tweet).

The short URL is
usually registered in a country such a Tonga (.to) or Tuvalu (.tv) which
don't require domicile to use their countries extension. They redirect
from the short URL to the underlying URL address.

It is also
often useful to disguise or hide the underlying URL address. This may be
for perfectly legal business reasons but one must be careful. Some of
these sites become blacklisted or put on spam blacklists. Some websites
prevent redirected URLs from being posted because they are often used by
websites trying to bypass a blacklist they have already been placed on.

These shortened URLs usually use a foreign extension as some domain names are under the jurisdiction of that nation.

But there are other advantages of using a short URL or URL shortening
services. They give full details of the traffic that these short URLs
receive and redirect which enables one to target the advertising ever
and ever more efficiently.

There is also a service that
advertises your now shortened domain name (URL) on a whole series of the
internet classified advertisements with no charge to yourself. All you
have to do is subscribe to their service and they will do it for you.
These free services are a fantastic offer as getting classified ads in
places take quite a lot of effort.

For a start the ad has to be
composed and then the headline has to be written. Then one must compose a
list of keywords and test them out to make sure that they will in fact
attract visitors to your site.

Keywords are of course key to
this whole process. Get the keywords right and your website will get
displayed. But of course before it does get displayed the search engine
crawlers have to find it and rate it.

The following increases your ratings:

* Relevance: the website must relate to the item (keyword) being searched for.
* Links: search engines give a lot of weight to the number of "quality" links to your website.
* Fresh content. If the crawlers don't find new content often the site
might become stale and drop in ratings (and of course number of times
displayed).

The search engines penalize keyword stuffing, lack of relevance and poor grammar.

Using a short URL service is very important if you want to "tweet". All the other advantages are nice bonuses.

Classified Ads Submission Freeware helps any website get themselves noticed on the Internet and will get traffic to their site.

A free URL service www.co-webs.org
provides a lot of advantages especially for "twittering". It also can
be used for for hiding, encrypting URLs and clicks tracking.

Blogging takes time, and there is nothing worse than spending hours
creating a new post only to find a week later that a mere handful of
people read your work and no one even bothered to leave a comment. A
lack of followers is why many people abandon their blog after just a few
months.
So how do you attract readers to your blog and build a loyal following?

It won’t happen overnight. We’ve been trained in the digital society to expect instant results.

However, there is no getting around that you must put in the effort by
consistently posting and promoting your blog. Also, realize that you
have lots of competition. There are now over 150 million blogs in
existence – an incredible statistic – and that number grows daily.
Everyone is competing for followers, so you are competing with many,
many other bloggers.

You might think that a successful blog isn’t even possible, but here are some tips that will bring you results.

1. Quality is King but Perfection is Overrated. Outstanding content is
the single most important element to your audience – people will not
return if the site is a loser so work hard to create the best writing,
images and video. Yet, a blog post does not have to be perfect. You
will need to keep the content stream going and sometimes good enough
just has to be good enough.

2. Don’t be Shy! You’ve got great
content, now don’t hold back. Use every platform you can find to
promote your blog. Think of your blog as a product you are marketing
using social networking platforms. Initially it is acceptable to share
your posts with friends, family and some co-workers – you will be
surprised who will become a loyal follower. However, be sensitive and
don’t hound friends and family continually to read your blog. Think
outside your immediate circle. Visit other blogs and leave comments or
helpful tips. Find online platforms to list your blog or create guest
posts. Write a press release about your blog or a byline story (like the
one you are reading now) on a subject related to your blog.

3. Learn From Your Elders. Identify a few dozen successful bloggers
across a number of categories and look hard at what they are doing
right. Take notes. You will learn a lot from others who have come
before you. You can get ideas from what they are writing and sometimes,
you can even take the opposing viewpoint (which will create some
controversy). Above all, always make sure that you create your posts
with your own personal perspective and in your own voice. Successful
bloggers learn from others, but they are not copycats.

4. Be
Generous. You’ll find friends online who will write guest posts for you
and ask you to guest post for them. It’s like going into a store with
an outer and an inner set of doors. You open the door for someone and
they will then open the second door for you. Just like in life,
courtesy goes a long way. At a blogger conference, I once befriended
someone who was standing alone at a mixer. Turns out that while she is
terribly shy in large social gatherings, she is also a popular blogger
with a huge following. Since that conference, my new friend has proved
to be one of my biggest supporters and her professional assistance has
helped me enormously.

5. Controversy Sells. Yes, controversy
can attract a large following, but think before you post. For example,
some bloggers will post about their personal relationship issues with
spouses, siblings, parents and children. Ask yourself: Is the blog post
idea valid and true? Would you be invading someone’s privacy just to
get people to notice you? You could cause hurt feelings with friends
and family members or even lose your job. If your post is just shocking
for the sake of being shocking, you can easily turn off your core
audience. Some bloggers turn to excessive profanity or explicit
material to create controversy. In fact, the use of profanity is so
overused online that it’s no longer controversial – merely bad taste.
Controversy is best served with smart writing or truly amazing graphics.

My advice for attracting a significant following is to find
your voice, be original, create unique content and keep posting,
posting, posting.

Do some research and seek out bloggers whose
work you admire. When you connect with other quality bloggers online,
be generous by sharing tips and making the time to visit their blogs and
leave comments. It’s fine to promote yourself to your community, but
keep in mind that people have busy lives and helping you grow your blog
audience is not their top priority.

Remember that while controversy will get attention, clever is always better than profane or mean.

There are many ways for your to earn money online. Earning a decent
living online is no longer a dream. Some even leverage on social media
to earn decent income online. Do you want to know how to make money
with Facebook page (also known as Fanpage)?

Read on and I will reveal to you the simple step-by-step process for you on how to make money with Facebook page.

First, create your Fanpage

Creating a Fanpage is the first thing you need to do. If you don't know
how to create a Fanpage, just google for the solution or alternatively
you could outsource this and let someone else to create a Fanpage for
you. But it is not right to just simply create any Fanpage. To make
money with Facebook page, you need to make sure that the Fanpage which
you are creating will make you money.

Now, the tricky question is how to ensure that the Fanpage you are creating will make you money?

The answer is very simple. Fanpages that will make you money are those
with a "passionate" (or "motivated") group of fans. When people are
"passionate", they will be more proactive in sharing and spending time
on the Fanpage.

Examples of a "passionate" group of people are the niches of tattoo, weight loss, games, niche music, etc.

Second, get a CPA offer

Now, the key to the question on how to make money with Facebook really depends on how well you monetize your Fanpage.

The easiest way to do this is by finding a right click-per-action (CPA)
offer and a group of fans who are willing to complete the CPA offer for
you.

You can find plenty of CPA offers on clickbank.com. Choose
one with a powerful landing page and provide you with useful and
sufficient promotional tools.

Insert the CPA offers link on your
Fanpage. When your fans click on the offer and if they are a real
"passionate" group, chances are high that they'll complete the CPA offer
that you have.

Third, get traffic to your Fanpage

To
make money with Facebook page, you need to have "fans" for your Fanpage.
There are many ways to promote a Fanpage. You can talk about it in
forums, twit about in using tweeter, or promote it among your friends on
Facebook.

Or you can try the traditional marketing method known
as article marketing. The ultimate answer to the question of "how to
make money with Facebook" lies in having traffic and a group of
"passionate" fans. Article marketing would be able to get you the right
fans who are genuinely interested in what you have to offer on your
Fanpage and CPA offers.

There you go, the 3 simple steps on how
to make money with Facebook page. You might realize by now that it is
not difficult for you to make money with Facebook page. Why not give it a
try now?

RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication. RSS Feed Submission was designed
for people to get their news from news publishers automatically as soon
as the news articles are published. The consumer subscribes to an RSS
feed that he or she is interested in. From that moment on, as soon as a
new article is added, the reader’s newsreader is notified. The
newsreader then downloads a copy of the new article, and the consumer
can then read the article at their leisure. There are many free news
readers available on the internet. Also, most email applications double
as newsreaders.

RSS Feed Submission is a powerful form of
marketing that can attract the interest of the search engines and reach
potential customers for any established business, or any business that’s
just starting out. Now you can reach a wider audience when you post
content onto an RSS feed and allow other people or websites to subscribe
to your content.

This process is called a feed and most social
media sites such as Tweeter, Facebook and MySpace use RSS Feed to
distribute their content and news. News is a perfect content for feed,
and studies show that the number one source of news in the 18-54 year
old age group is the internet. Also, images and news are in fact the
most clicked content on web pages. Your company can benefit by using
RSS Feed as part of your integrated online marketing strategy. By
adding feeds to your news, you can tap into the power of the social web.
Ultimately, you can distribute news, new product release, sales and
much other information about your company instantly.

RSS feeds
keep your audience constantly updated by allowing your customers to
easily stay informed about your newest products and services. It also
saves people time by allowing them to see your content using their
favorite news reader and without having to visit your site. Now that may
sound like a bad idea, but in today’s fast-paced world anything that
saves people time is valued. Most people never go back to visit a
website they intended to visit at one time.

If you update your
site regularly with news about new products and/or services, the chances
of visitors coming back to your site to see those update is very slim.
But with constant content updates through RSS Feed Submission, the
customer has the chance to see those updates in their news reader
provided they subscribed to your RSS feed. This instantly creates a long
lasting form of communication between you and the consumer.

RSS
Feeds are created using eXtended Markup Language (XML). To create a
feed you can use one of the many available authoring tools on the
internet. Another way is to put up a blog by blogging software that
usually contains build-in codes that will submit your feed to RSS
directories every time you make a new post. This can be tricky for some
people. Most blogging software can be intimidating to install due to
complexity and lack of documentation. There are also hosted blogs like
WordPress and Blogger that contain those build-in codes, but customizing
your blog can be difficult. Blogging sites and software may offer some
limited submission to blog directories. To get results, you want your
blog entries to be posted as many blog directories as possible. It is
not practical to do this manually. There are some services and software
programs to help you submit your blog to blog directories. The best
method to get the word out is to use online services that create and
maintain RSS Feed solutions for your company for a nominal fee.

The benefits of RSS are endless. You can attract users and keep them
coming back for more by constantly sending out news. It’s worth the time
to look into RSS Feed Submission for your company to stay above today’s
highly competitive online marketing, and the ever growing technology
landscape!

RSS Feeds is a certain type of method that sends out notifications, new
posts or new contents and headlines to a number of people who subscribed
to your feeds. RSS feeds actually stands for Really Simple Syndication
feeds which means this method makes it very simple and easy for your
subscribers to get in touch with your site or to keep themselves updated
on your website by receiving emails and notification about the new
updates of the site. We all know that a website lose subscribers,
followers and visitors if you do not updated it regularly and this is
because people will get bored with reading the same content over and
over again which is why it is important to keep your site updated and to
post new content.

New Content and RSS Feeds

RSS Feeds
keeps the followers of your website informed everything new about your
site that means simply posting a new content does not solve everything.
Like what is previously mentioned, it does not end at the point where
you post a new content or whenever there is something new about your
website because simply leaving it updated will not get you visitors and
even new subscribers which is why you have to reach out to your
subscribers and inform them of this new and latest updates. Keeping your
regular follower and subscriber will keep your site alive and running
and this is the reason why you have to take care of your subscribers by
providing them new and interesting contents and informing them through
RSS Feeds.

RSS Aggregators and RSS Feeds

RSS Feeds does
not only mean sending out emails to your subscribers but there are also
other ways of informing them just like RSS aggregators or Really Simple
Syndication aggregators which is installed in the computer of the
subscriber or the follower of your website. This specific software that
is installed in the computer of the subscriber helps the person get
updates from the websites he subscribed to by being notified by the
computer of the subscriber which means they will no longer receive RSS
Feeds emails.

Notification Management and RSS Feeds

RSS
Feeds through emails are often not that effective because some people
get annoyed when they receive too much notification in one day which is
website owners who use email RSS Feeds should be careful in sending
notifications. This is because sending too many notifications may lose
you a subscriber or some number of subscribers who does not like their
emails getting full of notifications and also because you need to avoid
getting your notifications marked as spam.

Installing RSS Feeds on your Websites

RSS
Feeds are essential to every website because when most people visit a
site and they are interested in this website they found, they look for
it and subscribe so that they can get notified. So, whenever you are
building a website, make sure that you have RSS Feeds so that you can
keep the visitors of your site and so that you can keep a very high page
rank which can lead you to getting new and even more subscribers and
followers.

A large number of people have started to promote list building
strategies recently as it has been demonstrated to be a very effective
method of advertising to a targeted audience. While some of the methods
are overly complicated and others don't seem to work at all, there are a
few very simple methods which you can use in order to build yourself a
list of potential clients.

On-Site List Building Strategies That Work

To
start things off, one of the most popular methods of list building
consists of creating a squeeze page, otherwise known as a landing page.
This is a page which was designed for the simple purpose of obtaining
the contact information of anyone who visits the website. Naturally, you
will need to offer something in exchange on your end and few things get
people's attention like some type of free mini-course or exclusive
report. To reiterate, by creating a squeeze page and offering people
useful information for free you can easily start building your list,
although keep in mind that your results will only be as good as your
traffic.

Another interesting method which you can easily
implement consists of placing the subscription box at strategic places
on your website. It is recommended that you place one at the beginning
of every post for two reasons. First of all, people won't feel compelled
to click something which is located below what interests them. Second
of all, if they aren't going to click the box the first time, they will
have a second chance as most people will go back up to press the "back"
button on their browser. It may not sound like much, but it can
definitely make a difference.

Off-Site List Building Strategies That Work

As
was mentioned earlier, the results you will get from a list building
strategy will only be as good as your traffic, meaning that in order to
increase your subscription rates you will need to tap into some new
sources. There are many ways to widen your reach, such as making forum
posts, comments, guest posts and submissions to article directories.
Keep in mind though that these methods will take a bit of time to come
into effect, although it should be noted that they are free.

One
of the most important factors when it comes to determining whether or
not people are going to subscribe to the list is how much they trust
what you have to say. If you can manage to display yourself as a
reliable authority in your niche, chances are people will be much more
receptive to anything you have to offer them. An excellent way to build
up your credibility is to invite an expert for an interview to answer
some questions related to the needs of your readers. Also, you could try
run a webinar, although that will take some time and practice before
you are ready.

Keeping your Subscribers Happy

After you
have a list of subscribers it is important to keep periodically reaching
out to them with new offers and information. Keep sending them free
goodies from time to time, but make sure they will actually be useful to
them; if you will keep sending irrelevant and poorly designed products
most people will simply unsubscribe and ignore any future offers from
you. As a matter of fact, considering that the amount of people who will
be subscribing to your list will slowly start to drop down, keeping
your subscribers happy may very well be the most important of all list
building strategies.
We have no time to stand and stare?
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
A poor life this, if full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

These beautiful lines by William Henry Davies describe the kind of life we lead in the 21st century. A century where people are have no time to say a 'Hi', where we do not know who our neighbour is. This is the century where we have made remarkable progress in the field of science and technology but have equally regressed in the field of culture and community.

We are living in a world where a broken iphone is more sorrowful than a broken heart, where having fun is limited to television and video games and in a world where our endless wants only lead to disappointment.

Humans are social animals. We communicate and interact with each other and share experiences to build a bonding with the society. And time being scarce, we've forgotten about the way socializing was back in the old days. But thanks to technology, we've been able to take this entire experience online.

A few years ago it was only possible to keep in touch with family, friends and colleagues by phone, text messages or email. Now you can update your profile on these social networks and every one knows what you are doing. Simple and quick!

From the business point of view, the use of social networking sites for personal and business use is underestimated by many online business owners. Using social networking strategies for marketing a product or service online is very effective because you can scout out target markets and potential customers with just a few clicks.

Social networking is the buzz that communities like Okrut, Facebook and Myspace created. Today we can connect with our friends and family even from thousands of miles away thanks to these wonderful social networks. Sharing the most memorable moments of your life through media has become a child's play. Increasingly, people are joining these networks to virtually engage in social activities and continue holding the banner of being a part of the society.

One of the most amazing social networking site that has been created recently is Buddy Puff. It can well be compared to the likes of the biggies like Facebook and Myspace. It has created a fusion of social networking + blogging + media sharing + music sharing to create a one of a kind social networking community. The sheer simple yet sophisticated interface is promising and extremely easy to use. I highly recommend Buddy Puff as it stands out from the usual social networking sites like Facebook and others.

There is a common misconception that all cloud services are the same. This couldn’t be further from the truth, as like any service, there are a good providers and there are bad providers. Before committing themselves to a cloud service provider, businesses need to be sure what they’re signing up to. Outlined below are some key points to consider.

Disaster recovery and data backup
Disaster recovery systems are a vital to any cloud service; if the service goes down, businesses lose access to data and hosted applications. Many service providers claim to store data in environments within a certain jurisdiction, such as the UK, however it’s important to find out if and where mirrored sites are located.

Data location
Data location is an important consideration when considering a cloud services provider, as the secure transfer and encryption of backed-up data should not be taken for granted. however it’s an area that’s often overlooked. A recent study suggests that an alarmingly small percentage of businesses had not considered where their data is stored. Further still, an even lower number of businesses had no knowledge of where data would be sent to in the event of an outage. Be sure to find out details of of where data is stored prior to signing contracts as to avoid potential issues further down the line.

Assessment
Many businesses fail to ask the most basic questions when it comes to discussing contracts with potential providers, including asking whether they’re dealing with a data centre owner or a reseller. While many resellers are highly reputable and reliable, dealing with data centre owners directly allows for more control over data access and more insurance in terms of management and security.

Security and physical access
Organisations that suffer security breaches can be fined up to £500,000 by the Commissioner’s Office (ICO), so naturally, data centre providers are keen to establish high levels of security. It’s important to establish every facet of a data centre provider’s security before signing a contract.
A secure data centre is vital, but should not be at the expense of physical access when required.

Customer support
When moving to the cloud, it’s important to find a supplier that offers the level of support that ensures any issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently. A good way to gauge the level of support is to look behind the scenes and meet with the team who will be responsible for managing your data.

Service level agreements
Ensuring a satisfactory service level agreement (SLA) can help avoid many of the potential issues associated with cloud computing. As with any contract, always read the small print and have legal specialists assess the paperwork. It’s vital that the SLA is understood fully before signing on the dotted line as it sets the standard for the level of service you will receive, from security and monitoring, to operations and support.

Costs
While seemingly obvious, the issue of cost should not be ignored, especially when it comes to the possibility of ‘hidden extras’. Failing to establish costs at the start of an agreement can potentially result in having to find additional funds further down the line. A service provider’s cost model should be transparent and simple, and ensure that actual usage is paid for, rather than available capacities.

Reputation
While contracts and SLAs provide a clear overview of the service you should receive, there’s every benefit in conducting additional background checks on potential providers. All providers are not the same, so conducting thorough checks on all of the areas above can help prevent unwanted surprises down the line.

The points raised here, though by no means exhaustive, are aimed to provide a starting point for businesses considering taking their IT to the cloud. Migrating to the cloud is not a decision to be taken lightly, but by following the advice given here, businesses can expect a successful and rewarding journey.

Computer networking services is an in-demand job in the small business world. This position consists of setting up and organizing computer networks within an office environment. Establishing security and resolving IT issues are also part of the job. There are several main tasks that computer networking services for small business will handle.

Security
No matter what size business you have, internet security should be at the top of your list. It is very easy for employees to access non work-related websites without proper security in place. Working in computer network technician, you will need to set up and maintain a security system on all computers in the office. The first task in ensuring network security is blocking any inappropriate sites from the server. Typically programs can be used to black list any websites that fall under unwanted categories such as entertainment, social media, shopping and adult. During the set up process you may also want to establish websites that are allowed, called a white list or a safe list, to ensure they do not get blocked accidentally. Additionally, it is important to set up security passwords and user accounts on office computers. This helps keep data protected and keeps private and shared files separated.

Employee Monitoring
As an IT specialist, it is also possible to setup employee monitoring systems on office computers. If a manager is concerned about employees staying on-task, this might be a big part of your computer networking job. It can be difficult for a manager in charge of multiple employees working on different computers to keep track of everyone. Employers can utilize employee monitoring to ensure that staff members are doing their job accordingly during work hours. A tracker can be installed through the network to establish when work is being completed and when it is not. This will help employers better monitor their staff and promote or demote them accordingly.

Internet and Networking
In the small business world, the network technician is also responsible for setting up a stable internet connection. In the average household, a family may use up to five or six devices on their internet router at one time. In an office setting, it is sometimes necessary for hundreds of computers to operate on the same internet infrastructure without crashing the system. By setting up different types of network connections, the IT specialist is able to give a business the internet and networking capabilities it needs without sacrificing speed or quality of the service. Most small businesses that house multiple computers need all their devices to have the same accessibility to programs and information across the network. In many cases, it is also important for employees to have remote access to the system as well. Computer networking services can handle making that important connectivity possible.

Computer networking services is an incredibly relevant career that many people are choosing to pursue. As technology continues to grow, this position will continue to be important and in high demand. Positions in computer networking and IT are offered by companies worldwide, so this type of career can open doors to opportunities around the globe. These positions offer ample transfer opportunities to other countries within large corporations such as Microsoft and earnings can be quite lucrative. It is estimated that people working in computer networking services will maintain a salary between $60,000 and $300,000 per year depending on the company they are working for, the location, and the job demands. As long as computers are playing an integral role in modern business, computer networking services and IT specialists will be needed by companies large and small.

You will need a MAC to transfer your broadband to Madasafish, but this
doesn't refer to the popular computer brand. Rather, your MAC is a
migration authorisation code provided by your current broadband
provider. If you don't have a current broadband Internet service plan,
you naturally won't be able to get a MAC. However, any time you are
terminating your current service to sign up for Madasafish broadband the
company needs to you provide this code as a part of the transition
process. Here are some quick tips for how to get your MAC in hand, and
what to do if you don't have one yet.

Requesting the MAC

You can request that your current broadband provider supply you with a
MAC over the phone. The serial number will include numbers and letters -
in some cases, the provider may not be able to provide the code over
the phone, but you should get it within a matter of days. While you will
want to tell your provider to stop billing you once the migration is
complete, you don't want to request an immediate termination of service.
Once you have the MAC, you won't need to contact your current provider
again. Madasafish will handle the rest of the migration as it pertains
to your current broadband supplier.

Getting Madasafish Service

You can sign up for Madasafish broadband service online once you have
your MAC. If you still have questions and aren't ready to sign up, you
can also contact the sales team. Your MAC will be provided as a part of
the sign up process - remember that your MAC must be used within 30 days
of being issued. If it has been more than one month since you were
issued your code, you must ask for a new one.

What if I Want to Sign Up Now?

You can start the process of signing up for Madasafish without a MAC,
but your order won't be complete. Your service request will be on hold
until you contact the company and supply the MAC from your old provider.
This is a good option if you want to fill out most of the application
on a day off when you have the time, but have yet to receive your MAC.

Time Table for the Switch

According to Madasafish, you can usually make the transition to their
broadband within a week's time. Bear in mind, however, this I the time
that lapses after you submit a MAC. If you submit an application for
service and wait to submit the MAC, it may take longer than one week
from the time that you initially showed your interest in a particular
broadband plan. You should not experience more than a few hours of no
service on the day that the transition happens, provided you have your
router properly installed and ready to go.

What to Do if You Can't Get a MAC

Most cable providers participate in the migration service that the MAC
is a part of. However, in some cases you may have a small service
provider who is not a part of the program. When that is the case, you
should call Madasafish and set up a plan for how to transfer your
service. Madasafish can still offer you a broadband plan, but you may
need to work a bit harder to make sure you don't experience a lapse in
coverage. In these cases, you will also need to let your old provider
know when to terminate your service, since Madasafish won't be in
communication with them or have the authority to terminate service on
your behalf without the MAC.

Needing a MAC to migrate from one
broadband plan to another is not a program unique to Madasafish. Rather,
it is a system that most major ISPs agree to participate in. While it
may seem like a hassle to get the MAC, especially if getting a hold of a
representative of your provider is challenging, in the long run it
saves you more time. Once you have handed over your MAC to Madasafish,
you can sit back and wait for the company to handle the transfer of your
service while you are responsible for very little.

Laura Ginn appreciates that a MAC works slightly differently when it
comes to setting up your broadband connection with Madasafish. Visit

Madasafish network and their broadband service.

Sky has recently introduced their new broadband wireless router that is
specially designed to work alongside the Sky+ HD box to unlock a whole
host of extra features. Even if you are not signed up to Sky TV, the Sky
home hub will provide you with a secure Wi-Fi connection and unlimited
broadband starting from as little as £3.75 a month. All of Sky's
previous routers were designed by Netgear and followed the standard
black set-top model. The new hub has taken more than a little
inspiration from the AirPort Express Base Station from Apple, and the
white matte finish gives it a modern twist. As well as being infinitely
sexier than its predecessor, the new hub features a more compact design
with the PSU actually built into it which means no bulky power brick
trailing behind the unit. The white lights and smiley face indicator are
also a nice touch, but the lights can be a little distracting if you
plan to keep it turned on at night. The hub is Sky's first attempt at
designing their own wireless router, and this article takes a look at
what you can expect from their latest offering.

Setting up the
hub is incredible simple and even first time internet users should be
able to complete the steps without too much trouble. A helpful guide is
printed under the lid of the box complete with pictures informing you
exactly where to connect the ADSL cable and microfilters. Once you have
plugged in the power supply and connected the cable to your phone line
you are ready to go, and your password and pin is provided on a separate
card for safekeeping. The hub's simplistic design extends to its
technical specifications, and the lack of USB ports and the fact that it
is only a single bandwidth router may disappoint some users. It also
lacks Gigabit Ethernet but makes up for these shortcomings by offering 4
Ethernet ports in case you prefer to receive your internet via cables.
WPA/WPA2 and WPS wireless security are all built into the hub, but it is
still important to change your password and pin immediately after setup
to avoid other online users hijacking your signal.

Sky claim
that the hub is their best ever wireless router due to its Smart Signal
technology that ensures you always receive the strongest signal in every
part of your home. It works by scanning for interference from other
electrical devices in your home and will then automatically select the
best Wi-Fi channel. A speed test by trustedreviews.com found that the
hub gave download speeds of around 5.8MBps at a distance of 2 meters
away, and this speed fell to 5.1MBps at a distance of 10 meters. Users
that are in need of superfast downloads have the option of turning off
the hub's Wi-Fi and using it purely as a modem to connect to a third
party router with increased capabilities. One of the hub's main features
is its ability to connect to a Sky+ HD box to give access to On Demand.
Users can access catch-up TV services such as BBC iPlayer, 4 OD and ITV
on Demand as well as rent entire TV series box sets and premium movies.
Households that don't have Wi-Fi enabled satellite boxes can order an
On Demand connector to access the service.
The Sky Hub costs £69
and does not require an engineer to install it. All of the equipment is
sent by post, and your broadband signal will be active 2 weeks after
your order has been confirmed. The Hub will also help you to reduce your
carbon footprint as it automatically switches to a low energy mode
whenever it is not being used and will return to full power as soon as
you get online. The user interface is also extremely user friendly and
offers detailed help and support options that will help you troubleshoot
any setup issues in no time. Although the Hub does not offer greatly
improved download speeds over its predecessor, it does make for a much
more attractive piece of hardware in your home, and its white, modern
design ensures it will blend in with your existing equipment much more
seamlessly than the standard black models.

Setting up Internet access from a new Internet service provider is
typically something that a service technician will do upon installation.
If your home hasn't been wired for Internet connectivity by previous
residents, a representative from the ISP in question will come to your
home and install the necessary cables and hardware. If you want to save
yourself a great deal of money, the process can end at that point.
Instead of paying to have a repair technician install Internet access
throughout your home, you can take all of the equipment provided and set
up the access point yourself in just a few moments of your time.

Begin the process by removing all of the network equipment that you
received from its original packaging and laying it all out on a flat
surface. Depending on your Internet service provider and the age of the
equipment they rented to you, you may see two main pieces of hardware or
only a single one. Some Internet service providers use a broadband
modem to provide Internet access to your home and a separate wired or
wireless router to allow you to connect more than one device to the
network. Internet service providers with newer equipment, however, will
combine both of the aforementioned hardware components into one device.
If you've received a separate modem and router from your ISP, you will
need to purchase an Ethernet cable to connect the two devices together
(if one was not provided for you).

If you plan on setting up a
wired network in your home, you will also need one Ethernet cable for
each device you want to access the Internet with. Keep in mind that
mobile devices like Apple's iPad and similar tablets will not be able to
get online using a wired connection. Only wireless connections will
provide Internet access to most portable devices. Walk through your home
and measure the distance between each device and the location where the
wired router will be installed. When purchasing Ethernet cables, make
sure to buy cables that are long enough to cover the necessary distance.

If you're setting up a wired network in your home, connect the back of
the included broadband modem to the rear panel of the wired router using
an Ethernet cable. The cable will transfer information from the
Internet to the router, at which point the information will be passed
along to computers and other devices that are connected. Connect one
Ethernet cable to the networking jack on the back of a device you want
to be able to use online. Run the cable across the room and connect it
to the rear panel on the router. Repeat the process to connect the
remaining electronic devices in your home to the Internet. Depending on
the router, you may only be able to connect a maximum four devices to
the Internet. You can purchase routers with ports for up to eight
connections if you so choose.

If setting up a wireless network,
connect the router to the modem with an Ethernet cable (if necessary).
Turn on your computer, open the Control Panel and select the option
labeled ‘Connect to a Wireless Network’. Select the name of the wireless
network you're trying to connect to and type in the provided password.
Many Internet service providers no longer allow homeowners to use their
own SSID and passwords for networks. The necessary connection
information will likely be provided to you in the documentation that
came with your network equipment. Repeat these steps to connect the
remaining wireless devices to your home network. Unlike wired networks,
there is no limit to the number of devices that can connect to a
wireless network.

Once your network is up and running, perform a
speed test to make sure you're getting the speeds you agreed to pay for
with your ISP.

Visit an online speed test website like
SpeedTest.net and click the button labeled ‘Begin Test’. The test will
only take around thirty seconds to complete. Once it is finished, view
the upload and download speeds in the graph on your Web browser. Compare
the information on screen with the information in the packet you
received from the ISP technician to make sure the speeds are similar.

Laura Ginn appreciates that not everyone finds setting up their
internet access easy, nor do they understand how to run a speed test.
Check out the free information provided by uSwitch.com and learn more
about how to check the speed on your internet connection.

Prior to emails, direct mail experts considered creating mailings with personal names as a great idea. To your surprise, the same thing still happens these days but in a very sophisticated manner as it is tough to computerize handwriting. Therefore, email marketers caught up with this trend and also started using personalized emails in their campaigns by simply putting a form on your site that letting the visitors enter fields like name, last name, email or anything else. And when you need to send out an email message, just include one ‘field variable’ like first name and each subscriber gets personalized email, addressing his/her first name.

In short, personalized emails are important for email marketing, because it enhances the conversion rates. In other words, by personalizing an email message you establish and strengthen your relationship with prospective and existing customers. A personalized email indicates the reader that the sender is someone who knows him, so the recipient of that particular email feels more comfortable while opening and reading your message.

A personalized email helps you develop a line of demarcation for yourself from spammers. Whenever recipients find that they are being addressed by their name whether in a subject line or in the email message, they make out that it is from someone who is familiar to them, so it cannot be looked at as spam mail.

However, there are also few of them who do not agree with this concept. Some marketers conceive that personalizing email marketing mails automatically indicates that the message is for promotional use. Many marketers argue that none of their friends or relatives will send them an email message addressed on their name. They are of the opinion that people who are well-known to them and are acquainted with their names, they do not require using it in email messages.

That might happen in few cases. Still individuals who have provided their names and email addresses to you will have a faith in you and confirm the interest by reading it. In that case there is no reason for them to ignore your email marketing messages. But, if email marketers go on sending promotional emails one after another, then even with or without personalization, your subscribers might get bored and quit following you.

As there are contrasting notions on personalized emails. To some of the marketers personalized emails are perceived as a ‘warning signal to subscribers’ and apprehended of being deleted against doubtful threats of using their names. For many others personalization of email marketing messages is the need of the hour. But do not believe in any of these affirmations.

What you should do is simply check by doing it on your own. If your target audience responds more seriously in the absence of personalization, then it makes no sense using it – and if they prefer personalized emails, then do use it.

However without testing, it would not be easier for email marketers too to find out what works for whom. In other words, whether one should personalize email marketing messages or not is a question that nobody can answer for anyone – it’s, well…personal. And has to be find out by testing on your own.

Fast E-mail List Building.

1. E-mail List Building Utility.

One of the defining characteristics of any online business is dependence on search engines, and you can not completely get rid of it. However, creating e-mailing list – you create your own island of independence from search engines. In fact, by list building, you build your customer database, which is used beyond the influence of search engines ratings of your website. In addition, the list provides you direct contact with customers and you can study the statistics of consumption of your products and services. It is these reasons that make e-mail list building necessary for virtually every online business entrepreneur.

Of course, the complete independence of the search engines you can't reach, because your squeeze pages are working in the net, but after a subscriber has become your client, this independence is achieved for a particular case. So, if the creation of e-mail list is your main task – drive all traffic to your squeeze pages.

2. Build Your List Fast.

In order to quickly build an email list you should know exactly where the traffic is, and how much effort and money needed to get it. It is also good to pick-up some list building secrets and to have some fresh techniques on how to build a list. Constant search for a fully free traffic is not always effective, often, it is reasonable to compare the costs with the final effect. Finding effective places to get real traffic for affordable price – is one of the main strategies to build your list fast. When a place of reach traffic is found, think very seriously about the gifts that you will offer from your squeeze page. To place fresh reports, books, or tools (software) to download is a good idea for online list building. You can find on the Internet some of this stuff for free or buy them at an affordable price with the distribution rights. One of the best places to get PLR products with the distribution rights is Resell Rights Weekly. It is free to join, later you can upgrade if you wish. The website provides some not bad PLR products for free, some for the price just of $1.00. Also you can purchase some great PLR products for at an affordable price ($5.00-$10.00).
Let's move on to the description of a specific and significant opportunity (niche) to get traffic for your squeeze pages and to build your list fast. This approach is using now by many top internet marketers and companies. Taking into account that the Internet is growing rapidly and is increasingly using different types of devices, there is a need to use short URLs (or shorted URLs, or shorted links) that can be easily shared, tweeted, or emailed, etc. For this reason, there appeared websites that allow organize, shorten and share shorted links. The audience of these websites is growing rapidly as people can share shorted links to many devices. Websites like adf.ly and bit.ly provide not only the possibility to get shorted links (free URL shortener service) but also to place advertiser's ads, which website members can use for the subsequent promotion. For example, adf.ly pays its members for each click on shorted links they use to promote. This is a little money, but it works well.
As you work on your own email list building you will see a nasty thing – a serious percentage of inactive subscribers. Do not be pessimistic about it, carefully study the data and calculate – what is the cost for you for one active subscriber. Remember, better to have a smaller email list with targeted subscribers, than a large, but not productive list.

2.1. Proven Way to Build Your List Fast.

Every day, millions of people create millions of shorted links at adf.ly website and share them. You can for a small price to use the huge market for quick email list building, just follow the steps below. This is simple, effective and inexpensive approach on list building, you can always adjust its costs.

2.2. Proven to Spend Some Money.

Many people are afraid to spend money to make money. They limit themselves even in the cases for the proven methods. And it is well understood. However, it is not necessary to get involved in this too much, especially in cases where the method can be tested for a little money and by you personally, for example, for $20-$30 and in 2-3 days. As you know, free ways to perform list building are characterized by just a big effort, and often do not lead to desired results. To build your list fast you should use combination of methods, not excluding the paid services. The adf.ly website accepts payment of the minimum of $5.00, you also can use PayPal or AlertPay accounts to perform payment.

2.3. Step by Step Action.

So, if you decided to try this method and to know how to build a list by its use, follow these guidelines:

Step 1.
Choose the autoresponder service. Choose the autoresponder service to use for email list building (or GetResponse, or AWeber, or iContact , or you can find other but these are the best). Learn the basic terms and options to use. Of course, if you have it all, you skip this step.

Step 2.
Create squeeze pages. Create a number of perfect squeeze pages and fill them with brief content, pictures, etc., on your business subject. Also make a special squeeze page to provide gifts to the visitors. You can pick-up some gifts (reports) at Resell Rights Weekly. Completed squeeze pages are placed on your server in a directory of your website.

Step 3.
Create your mailing campaigns at autoresponder. Before you start any advertising activities you should fully establish your autoresponder. The main work of this stage is to prepare a set of letters (follow-ups) which will be emailed to your subscribers on established plan – email marketing campaign. Remember, each campaign has its separate settings, and allows you to create follow-up messages, newsletters, and more. You can have a number of campaigns. So, create your mailing campaigns and fill them with letters to be mailed to your subscribers. It is a good idea to have at least 10-15 emails prepared and loaded in autoresponder, the range of mailing is to be assigned as one letter in 3-4 days.

Step 4.
Sign-up at adf.ly website as an "Advertiser". They have two membership types ‘Publisher' and ‘Advertiser', you should sign-up as ‘Advertiser'. After you created an account click ‘Create Campaign' option at menu and study the prices and rules. Once you have chosen a plan, you should enter your website name and your squeeze page link. Once this is done the system will direct you to the payment execution options. After the payment is made there is a short waiting term for the order approval. After approval you can track your campaigns.

Step 5.
Optimize your advertising campaigns at adf.ly The adf.ly website script allows you to manage advertising campaigns, use these opportunities to optimize your advertising campaigns. After performance of several advertising companies you will be able to analyze the data and to make corrections. The script also allows you to control your ads display by country.

3. Be Optimistic.

One of the main problems at list building is getting targeted subscribers, to get people who are interested in your products and services and who have intention of buying them. Getting a productive email list is a time-consuming process. Feel free to make experiments, try different approaches and techniques, make the right conclusions and you will achieve significant success in building your customer data base – the productive email list.
As you work on your own email list building you will see a distressing thing – a serious percentage of inactive subscribers. Do not be pessimistic about it, carefully study the data and calculate – what is the cost for you for one active subscriber. Remember, better to have a smaller email list with targeted subscribers, than a large, but not productive list.

The most important thing is get straight to the point. If you can say the same thing with less words then do it. Using bullet points when appropriate is a good way to achieve this. Never have too many words in one area and develop an eye for the right amount of spacing. A good way to test these concepts is by finding someone that has no idea what email your creating. Tell them they need to gather as much information as they can very quickly. Show the participant the email for 2 seconds then minimize it. Ask them what the email was trying to convey. If they can answer then you’ve done a good job.

A common tactic is to include a sense of urgency. This is where the infamous "expiration date" shows its horns. There is always a deadline because most people are procrastinators! If there wasn’t the expiration date or the limited time sale then everyone would just put it off for another day. Make sure your readers see the message so include it more than once.

Never abuse your email list by overwhelming your following with constant email blasts. It’s good to remind people of your presence but overdoing it will cause people to unsubscribe.

People love images, so that means use a ton of them in my template right? Wrong. In any email browser images are set to not be displayed by default. Either the user needs to allow images to be displayed every time an email is opened or change the default settings.

So what does this mean? Your email needs to still look presentable and functional without the help of images. This can be a bit discouraging but luckily the power of font style and color coordination is immense. Keep your color scheme for graphics and text to 2-4 colors. It’s important your color scheme flows and looks coordinated. Google ‘color scheme generator’ and the first link is an amazing tool for showing off this concept.

You also want deep contrast of dark/light if you place text over a colored background. This will make your text pop so it’s clearly readable. Text over a very dark background should usually be white. Don’t forget to vary the size of your font sizes. Very important points should be larger text size than less important ones. This also adds depth to your email and makes it easier to skim over.

Follow these guidelines and your email marketing campaign should be a success.

Prospects will always make a first impression of an accounting practice.
This often comes from their online presence. This offers a large
chance to not only create solid CPA websites that appeal to the eye,
but that also offer good information about the services the practice
provides, calling leads to action and converting them into clients. A
solid way to do this is to add a blog. Adding a blog can be very
beneficial.

In the modern online world, blogging has become
increasingly important, allowing people to share their personal thoughts
and businesses to showcase their professional expertise. Well-written
blogs on CPA websites allow potential clients to get to know the firm,
present its accountants as easily accessible to current clients, and
establish the practice as a subject matter expert in the field of
accounting.

There are several strategies to consider while creating and maintaining professional blogs on CPA websites.

Creating
a website blog makes a firm its own publisher. It means the firm will
be creating its own content. Posting to a CPA blog often so that the
blog stays fresh is important. It is also important that an accounting
firm doesn't just try to sell services in its blog, because readers will
lose interest. The blog should offer something of value. Accountant
website blogs should be clear, concise and contain good grammar, while
sharing accounting expertise with readers.

The field of
accounting is relevant to anyone who pays taxes, so firms should try to
set themselves apart from the competition. Successful CPA blogs offer
readers a chance to educate themselves. A solid strategy is blog posts
with tax filing tips and current information about tax law. Most
importantly, accounting blogs need to offer readers something of value.
This makes sure they will want to return. A CPA blog should also list
what services the firm provides, and offer to provide the answers to any
questions readers may have. This type of interactivity creates a loyal
reader base.

Accounting practices need to share their blogs with
others in their professional networks and in their fields. It is
important that they promote their blogs on their CPA websites and print
the names on their business cards. The more popular CPA blogs become,
the more search engine authority they earn. This drives traffic to the
blogs and brings more leads.

A critical part of keeping
successful CPA blogs is that the authors should keep current with what
interests readers. Authors should ask their readers what their concerns
are. Another great strategy is conducting surveys. Surveys should offer
a few topics to see if they spark interest. It is also a good idea to
provide an open-ended response to see what readers have to say without
being prompted.

Blogging is a tremendous opportunity to boost
search engine rankings for modern CPA websites. Each posting that is
generated is a brand-new chance for search engine ranking. Writing CPA
blogs that bring frequent visitors is the key. Accounting practices
benefit by having their brand visible to leads and current customers.
It also offers good content to the search engines to raise listings.

One of the best ways to gain exposure for your own site is to write a
guest blog for someone else. This will both increase your visibility to
new readers and, if your guest post includes links back to your own
site, it will also increase your visibility to search engines.

Familiarize Yourself

Before writing a guest post for a blog, you should have a fair level of
familiarity with the site first. Who are their readers? Is their tone
more casual or more professional? What subjects do they normally
address? A good guest post will add to their content and be enjoyed by
their current readers. Ideally, it will also hook some new followers
back to your own blog.

Do Your Homework

Another part of
becoming familiar with the site is to research other guest posts they
have sponsored. Suggesting a guest post on a subject that was recently
addressed will not go over well. Such a proposal is repetitive, and
clearly shows that you’re not a regular reader of the site. Instead, see
if you can spot a clear need or gap which is not being met, then fill
it. Sometimes an outside source can see things the main author is too
close to see and bring fresh insights.

Network

While it
is certainly possible to "cold-call" another site owner and just offer
to write a guest post, you might have more success if you form a
relationship first. Start small, by leaving comments on their blog
posts. If they offer a newsletter subscription by email, you can
occasionally reply via email as well. The goal is not necessarily to
become best friends; it’s to make sure that your name is familiar enough
to them that your guest blog request is given more consideration than a
request from a complete stranger.

Follow Protocol

Remember, if the site in question already has a guide for a specific way
to request a guest blog post, definitely follow that instead of the
preceding suggestions. Just like some companies prefer resumes and
others want you to fill out an application, all websites have their own
way they desire things done, and it’s best to respect that.

Search Visibility

One of the least-mentioned, yet most important, aspects of guest
blogging is the bump they contribute to search engine results. Every
guest post is an automatic backlink to your own website; the more
relevant backlinks your site has, the greater its pagerank in the search
engine results. Including at least one or two other links back to
relevant articles within your own site will edge these ratings higher,
as deep links hold more weight than a link just to your initial landing
page. Proceed with caution, however; no site owner wants a guest post
that ends up looking like nothing more than a spammy advertisement for
the guest author’s site.

Benefits of Guest Blogging

When done properly, a guest blog benefits all parties involved:
yourself, the other site owner, and the readers of both sites. The site
owner will have fresh content handed to them on a silver platter, which
they did not have to invent themselves. They get a break from writing,
and their readers experience a change as well. The readers themselves
benefit by being exposed to a new voice with new ideas. The main benefit
to guest blogging, however, is to you. A good guest post will bring you
new readers, increase traffic, and heighten your search engine
visibility.

If you have moved past the question, "what is a blogger" and decided to
have your personal blog, your subsequent question would be what sort of
weblog really should I've. A question that would be concerning whether
or not or not you want a totally free weblog or 1 that you simply host
yourself. Another question that you simply may well ask oneself is what
sort of content material really should be there on my blog. All of those
queries depend on your personal taste. There are several unique sorts
of blogging content and bloggers around. Here are some that will help
you make a decision what sort of blogger you want to be.

What is a Blogger? - Personal Blogger

A personal blogger is usually a person who uses their blogs usually as a
web-based journal to talk about their life and events regarding them.
When you ask the question what is a blogger, this is ordinarily the
response men and women offer you. In case you are looking for a
web-based journal to release the day's tension and to talk about factors
you can't discuss with any one in actual life, this need to be the
perfect blogging style for you personally. Of course, this does not mean
you can't preserve other blogs. A lot of people start out off with this
kind of weblog and after that invest in other sorts of blogs once
they've gained momentum. Possessing a individual journal inside a
hosting web-site exactly where there is the solution of producing
friends and getting comments enabled is a superb approach to create
private relationships as well on line.

What is a Blogger? - Political Blogger

A political blogger is an individual who offers commentary on the
several political happenings worldwide. They may well be specialists at
this, with degrees in political science or practical experience in
politics. But typically, they are people today who're observing the
political process around them and reporting on it. So as to be a very
good political blogger, you will need to become honest, thoughtful and
stick to your principles, whatever you may believe in. Political
bloggers also need to be thick skinned. Some of the individuals most
likely to obtain hate mail on the web are normally people today with
well-known political blogs because of their controversial opinion. This
will not mean that you just do not stand your ground at all, when people
ask what's a political blogger; no one wants to think a hypocrite.

What is a Blogger? - Celebrity Gossip/Fan

These are bloggers that track a variety of gossips about celebrities
from all over the world A number of the most popular ones belong to
writers that have actual ties towards the show enterprise and have the
inside scoop, but plenty of these blogs are about organizing or
circulating details that is certainly already offered. Some of them are
devoted to distinct celebrities and track them routinely. These blogs
can usually turn out to be renowned in specific circles. This is in
particular accurate when the celebrity in question acknowledges a
specific weblog.
So, now you have got answers to two concerns, what
is a blogger and what are the many sorts of bloggers offered - all you
will need to do is choose one and get began.

Uncover how you can quickly and very easily start out your weblog
these days and make 100% commissions. All the technical aspects are set
up for you personally it truly is ready for you personally to plug in
Website footers are one of the most ignored elements of a site. Not many
site owners give a lot of importance to them. The footer is placed at
the bottom of the page and will be seen last by anyone who visits your
site. This also means that it gives you one last opportunity to make the
person visiting your site take some action that will be beneficial to
your business before he/she leaves the page. How your footer looks is
not the only thing that is important. What is also important is what it
contains and how it can add to your site's performance.

There are various elements of a website footer. Some of them are given below:

Site Map

One of the most crucial things that you should include in your website
footer is links to all the important pages of your site. If your site
has a form based navigational structure, then the links given in the
footer can become the main navigational links for different search
engines. It would be best if all of these links contain keywords that
link back to the respective pages. Most sites use the footer like a
small sitemap. The footer can not only have links of product and service
pages but also links of other pages as well. If the footer cannot be
used as a sitemap, then the site owner can at least place an HTML link
of the sitemap in the footer.

Content

One of the latest
trends is web design is to add a feed of the newest content of the site
on the footer. It could be in the form of a blog feed, tweets, new
articles added to the site or any other kind of content. Adding content
on the footer has many plus points. Since it is added in the footer, it
will not take away from the focus of the page and will keep the
visitor's attention on the main content of the page till he/she gets
down. The other advantage is that fresh content will get added to the
page if the feed is added to the footer. This will help your site from
the SEO point of view.

Social Media Buttons

The world is
moving towards social media and it has become very important for
business and personal websites to take social media seriously. You may
include your social media profile on the footer of your site. This will
let your visitors share the content from your site to their other
contacts.

Call to Action

A visitor to the site reaches
the footer after going through all the other content of the page. At
such a time, if the website does not guide the visitor, it may lose out
on a potential customer. The footer will be like the user's last chance
to take any kind of action. Action could be in the form of signing
forms, transactions, buying products or sending an inquiry. The call to
action button can be placed on the footer.

Credibility

Many times a visitor may not know what to do after he/she has gone
through the entire page and reaches the end of the page. It can
sometimes help the visitor to take decisions if you have your social
media icons and call to action links in the footer. Besides this, the
footer can also be used to gain the trust of your visitor and build
credibility. Any BBB Accreditation safety certificates, membership to
industry bodies, testimonials, awards and any other such things can be
placed there. If these are put in the footer, it will help your visitor
take a decision about your site if he/she has any doubts.

Contact Information

Your contact information is another vital thing that can be placed in
the footer. The contact information will help to convince your visitor
that the website is real and not a hoax.

Legal Information

A good footer will also have any legal information about the company.
Things like the disclaimer, privacy policy, legal declaration,
information regarding copyright can all be placed in the footer of the
site.

A footer is a very important aspect of the site. It not
only contains legal information regarding the site but can also be used
to highlight any other important aspect of the site. Ignoring the footer
of the site can take away a lot of value from it. Similarly there are
many other aspects of web design that cannot be ignored. As a business
owner or the owner of the site, it may not be possible for you to keep
all these aspects in mind when you design your site. You can get
distracted by other aspects of your business development and can skip a
few aspects while creating your website. That is why, it can help to
hire a professional web design company who has experience in designing
various websites and who will keep all the important aspects of web
design in mind when creating your website for you. Since the company
only designs websites and does not have to concentrate on other aspects
of business development, they will be able to create your website for
you keeping all your business needs in mind. This will help you take one
thing off your mind and concentrate better on other aspects of business
development.

Building a website is so easy, you can get some hosting, load up
WordPress, start writing content and post it up. It can be the world's
best website on any topic you want. And it won't mean a thing at all
unless you get TRAFFIC.

I have started plenty of sites in the
last few years, on a lot of different topics. Getting traffic to them
has always been the difficult thing. But there is one thing that will
get it ranking, BACKLINKS. The number of BACKLINKS is one indication of
the popularity or importance of that website or page (for example, this
is used by Google and other directory sites to determine the PageRank of
a webpage).

Hey don't get me wrong, its not the only thing that
matters, on-site SEO, Keyword research, it goes without saying that
great content / or service should be the corner stone of your website,
Niche / Authority or otherwise. Generating great content will
drastically help you, it provides a visitor the reason to visit, to
interact on your site and they will come back if its good content.

Look
it's all part of it, but BACKLINKS can be the difference between
success and failure of your site. Here are 6 of the ways, I go about
building BACKLINKS :

1. Social networking

I personally
hate social networking, I mean I am old school and enjoy interacting on a
personal level. But it is absolutely necessary to build a social
profile for your websites. Facebook, and Twitter are the minimum you
should be on. But there are over 200 well known social networking sites
out there.

2. Bookmarking

Bookmarking sites are a little
different from social networking sites like Facebook or Twitter, its
basically when you decide to keep a Web page to look at later, you're
doing something called "bookmarking". Bookmarks are simply links to
sites that you visit frequently or want to keep handy for reference. You
can bookmark them locally on your computer or a In a social bookmarking
site. If you want to access your collection from anywhere and share
them with others, sites like Delicious.

3. Article Marketing

Are sites where once you write your article you can submit to them, usually with a bio and link back to you site.

4. Web 2.0

This
is where things get interesting, you basically go to another site like
Tumblr, and create a blog related to your niche website content, then
link back to your original site.

5. Wiki sites

A Wiki is
basically a Content Management System. To understand a wiki, you must
understand the idea of a content management system. As complicated as
the name might sound, content management systems, sometimes referred to
by their initials (CMS), are really quite a simple concept, you
essentially load your site up to them, and it provides a link back to
your site.

6. Directory submissions

Submitting to
directories is a great way to build links and increase your search
engine rankings. In semi-competitive industries it can produce great
results. If you add article creation and social media marketing into the
link building equation then you can achieve great results for any niche
you are targeting.

Now, all of that might sound pretty
overwhelming, and it can be trust me. Manual link building is great but
if you are lets say you are trying to get ranking on a website, that is
pretty competitive, you might need to build 1500 back links, well doing
that manually can take forever, but there are programs that you can use,
like Ultimate Demon, that can seriously speed up that process.

Its easy to build a website, but it can be hard to get traffic to it.I take a look at Getting traffic to your site.

Database servers are a cornerstone of modern businesses ranging from
Google to 7-Eleven. When you run your credit card at a convenience or
grocery store, your purchase is registered into a point of sale system
backed by a database. Your credit card company registers the funds
transfer into a database server containing your financial records. If
you use a discount card, yet another database server comes into play.
Databases enable businesses to track inventory, perform margin analysis,
automate purchases, and identify customer trends—and to do all of this
much more quickly and efficiently than ever before!

It has been a
long time since I visited any business that did not rely on some type
of database server, if only to track purchases and expenses. But I
constantly communicate with businesses that lack a plan to ensure these
databases function properly on an ongoing basis.

Hosting Database
servers at the ASPHostPortal.com data center helps your database remain
a vital component of your business infrastructure, rather than a
time-wasting black hole for IT resources. We recently sat down with our
engineering team to provide you a few tips on how we help accomplish
just that:

Tip 1: Host in a Data Center Simple power quality
issues such as brownouts, blackouts or even a mere voltage fluctuation
can result in your server powering down. SQL-based database systems are
sensitive to these unanticipated shutdowns, resulting in errors in
transaction logs and database instability. Hosting that same database
server in a secure data center —where power quality is monitored every
second of every day by trained engineers—helps ensure 100% uptime.

So when you are ready to start your business day, your SQL database will be ready to start as well!

Tip
2: Maximize IOPS One vital performance metric for database systems is
Input/Output Operations Per Second (IOPS). IOPS is important here as a
measurement of how fast storage devices can read and write, which is the
primary operation metric of database systems such as SQL.

Remember
that in reading from and writing to a database, most hard disks must
physically move, which takes time—especially if you need to read and
write from separate physical areas of your disk. By making read and
write tasks concurrent, you can speed up this process with almost no
administrative effort.

Instead of a single disk array handling
both your operating system and application, opt for two arrays to handle
each task on separate disks. Choosing serial-attached SCSI drives with
high RPMs for your database, and enterprise-level SATA drives for your
operating system will drastically improve read and write performance

Tip 3: RAID: It does more than kill bugs

An increasingly popular way of delivering IT services is through
virtualization, which comes in several flavors. With server
virtualization, a physical server is split into multiple virtual
servers. Each virtual server can run its own full-fledged operating
system, and these operating systems can be different from one virtual
server to the next. The physical server typically runs a hypervisor
program to create the virtual servers and manage the resources of the
various operating systems. Then each virtual server can be employed as
if it were a stand-alone physical server, thus reducing the number of
physical servers needed in an IT shop and saving the organization money
and space.

By desktop virtualization, whatever user sees on
his/her desktop is completely isolated from the physical machine and
accessed through a client/server computing model. This virtualized
desktop environment is stored on a server, rather than on the local
storage of the desktop device; when the user works from his or her
desktop device, all the programs, applications, and data are kept on the
server and all programs and applications are run on the server. In this
kind of practice, the server does almost all the work and a thin client
can be a normal desktop or it can be even notebook, smartphones.

The
above virtualization model can serve ideally to the tax and accounting
professional. For a general accountant or CPAs, the desktop consists of
tax and accounting applications as well as many other supportive tools
to process their operations. These applications require heavy system
resources to function and there is even desperate need of any expert
technician to manage their setup. Having separate desktop setup for each
individual in the office not only costs in the term of licensing but
also gives us huge burden of resource setup and management. A
centralized server helps us to address these concerns.

Tax and
accounting professionals can opt to use cloud computing to host their
resources. Cloud computing is the latest form of the virtualization
technology. By implementing cloud for tax and accounting practices, all
the benefits of cloud computing get inherited to the operations of tax
and accounting jobs. The major benefits of cloud computing are:
increased performance, high availability, anywhere and anytime access
and reduced expenses which can be very helpful to boost the performance
of accounting firms or departments.

It is not necessary to have
our own cloud computing or virtualization infrastructure to share the
benefits of these technologies. We can choose any hosting provider to
host our tax and accounting applications to get these features of
technology. We even get full technical support on our resources. The
hosting provider becomes responsible for setup, management and to fix
the issues.
