My mom is back with another round of packages from the large Bup Box,

The first package contained an item that has us stumped. Is it a baby toy? Something that attaches to a suitcase? We have no idea. My Thoughts

Every family has a different story, and sometimes those stories inspire something truly magical. I'm Right Here, a new children's picture book by Michelle Grace, arriving October 6 from Brown Books Publishing Group, is one of those stories.

I'm Right Here tells the story of a mother's love that travels across vast universes in search of her "shining star." Through metaphors and a celestial theme, the book reassures young readers that the bond between parent and child remains strong no matter the distance. Its focus on reassurance, connection, and unconditional love makes it an ideal bedtime story and a meaningful addition to family reading time.

The first thing that caught my attention with this book was the stunning cover illustration by Lea Androic. The cover with the flowing meadow filled with flowers stretches beneath a twilight sky scattered with stars is memorable. The soft color palette and whimsical details create an atmosphere that is both comforting and enchanting, perfect for a children's bedtime story.

It delves into the relationship between mother and child, and how its as eternal as the stars. Even though my children are grown, as a mother of four, this message resonates withe me.

Bup Boxes vs. Fun Delivered — The Unclaimed Mail Showdown B

My mom and I decided to switch things up a little for today's unclaimed-mail adventure. Instead of opening packages from just one company, we put Bup Boxes and Fun Delivered head-to-head to see which one would come out on top.

Now, this was all just for fun. These are two of my favorite unclaimed-mail companies, and I've gotten amazing items from both over the years. As we all know unclaimed mail is completely random.

Round One: Bup Boxes

Bup Boxes was up first.

The first package contained pieces of wire, which wasn't the most exciting start. The second package contained bag clips, which are useful but aren't likely to get anyone jumping up and down with excitement.

Round Two: Fun Delivered

Fun Delivered came out swinging.

The first package contained organic tallow honey balm which my mom was happy about. The second package revealed a pair of wireless earbuds. Fun Delivered grabbed an early lead on this round.

Today my mom opened three more packages from our large Bup Boxes, and we’re scraping the bottom of the box. The giant surprises are long gone, and all that’s left are the little mystery packages. Of course, those can still be entertaining.

The first package contained rug grips, which may not be exciting, but they’re definitely useful. We have more than enough rugs around here that like to slide all over the place.

Next, she pulled out a bright orange gadget that had us stumped for a while. Our best guess is that it’s one of those tools designed to help squeeze lemons and other citrus fruits. We’re still not completely sure, but that seems to be the most likely explanation.

Bup Boxes - Fancy Check & Sidewalk Chalk

Fernando officially burned through all the big boxes in our Bup Box, so today he settled for a few medium‑sized mysteries.

First, he pulled out a very fancy dress he thought was a bedspread at first. It was a size small, so unfortunately Fernando couldn’t squeeze into it to model for us.

Next came a hippie outfit, complete with that incense‑vibe aesthetic. This one I passed along to a work friend.

Finally, he opened a box of sidewalk chalk which I passed on another friend with grandchildren. Nothing ever goes to waste.

My mom went back into the large unclaimed mail box from Bup Boxes and pulled three more mystery packages.

First up was a county Christmas garden flag that Fernando added to his holiday stash.

Next she pulled out a solar light with a built‑in bug zapper which will also be going into the garden

Lastly, she she opened a the bathing suit. This thing looked like it was designed for a beach‑going clown. It's very bright and loud, but it was a two piece with a matching cover.
